Hansel and Gretel are locked in a cage, and the evil gingerbread men are all in a rage. Now the good witch has Chip as her guide, hurry now we're on her side! The evil witch has taken Hansel and Gretel and cast a sleeping spell on their mother! What a whimsical and lighthearted game this is. Mean and mischievous gingerbread cookie minions are everywhere! The only cookie not affected seems to be Chip the unibrow cookie who waits patiently to help you search for the kids, and every time he see's the evil witch's face he remembers and tells the story of Hansel and Gretel! The CE does have collectable cupcakes but this edition is a better buy in my opinion. The HOS are interactive and not really difficult and the mini games such as catching falling blueberries with a basket and letting green and rotten blueberries pass, are easy and lighthearted as well. The graphics are pale and definitely keeping in tune with the fairytale theme and designed to entertain kids and adults. Enjoy!

The last Web of Deceit had a bunch of spiders so I think they toned this game down a notch for the people with arachnophobia. With or without spiders, you're still going to hate Morgana, the evil black widow villainess who prays upon men by injecting them with spider venom! At one point in the game you are a witness to Morgana's lasts venom victim. As the venom is coursing through his veins, he slumps down upon the Hotel stairs and I whip out my analyzer to extract the venom from this poor man! Then not only do I leave him there, but I rob the man blind! Anyway, this game is chock full of mechanical gadgets and doors to tinker with and each and every scene has a lot of thing to do. There are the usual achievements to earn such as not using the hint button in a hidden object game, AND there are 30 posters to find throughout the game and they have done a nice job of making the posters inconspicuous. The HOS are interactive list finds, and some players might complain that they are just piles of junk lumped together and I did find some of the interactive tasks to be somewhat confusing, but it may be more helpful on a casual setting. Mini games are good some require swapping red and green circuits by guiding the circuits around a circle others are locks of which you need to place all gears of three different shapes in the correct place so it will open. The only complaint I have is the black bar tips that continually say's "maybe if I had eight legs" that annoyed me and again maybe it doesn't say that on the easier settings. Enjoy!

This is a good game, but it won't blow your socks off. A sinister doctor has been experimenting with crossing animal DNA but has gone one step further by injecting several animals DNA into your cousin! In the CE version you will earn clothing for a raccoon that has befriended you and when you collect 5 items of the ensemble then you can change outfits. With the SE you still befriend the hungry critter but no outfits to don. This is a pretty easy game to figure out and there really aren't any HOS but rather a find 15 items that the Myan Indians didn't use or a progressive silhouetted item where you find the shadowed items and then use those items in the scene. The graphics aren't the best either but there are a lot of pastel colors to brighten up the game. Mini games are fairly simple and many of them have a casual or hard setting which makes it nice and you can choose a customized game difficulty which is another feature I liked. Enjoy!

It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?

If you are a paranormal fan then you are in for a huge surprise! The storyline in this game is exceptional period! A mother misses her train and watches her daughter and husband who were onboard the train, enter the tunnel and never reach the other side, gone, vanished. One year later a scientist has lured the heartbroken mom back into the tunnel,,,You will be impressed with the quality of production the crisp HD graphics and believable voiceovers. The HOS are well done and a little on the easy side but it really doesn't matter because the puzzles are fun and entertaining and you will find yourself totally engrossed in the game. The collectable flowers hidden throughout the game unlocks bonus games and there are plenty of achievements to earn. I am definitely buying this game to finish this awesome story, enjoy!

Evangilina Glass and Professor Ink are investigating strange and frequent earthquakes which they believe are man made and coming from the castle. You will quickly notice that this game is full of mechanical gadgets with steam technology and centered around the uncertainty of a war era. Although the CE has steambugs hidden throughout I feel this game is the better value. The HOS are a mix of fragmented objects to put together and progressive finds where you find one item and use that item in the scene to uncover the next item. Puzzles are very simple such as making a drink by mixing red, blue and yellow liquids in specific amounts and the only measuring vials available are a 5oz and 3 oz. It's not a bad game but there were part's that were a little too slow moving. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!
Construct the iconic Roman Colosseum and learn ancient anecdotes in this fast-paced Time Management game.

This game has quality graphics, crisp and clear, and an excellent topic as well. Who doesn't love to hear interesting facts about the Roman Colosseum? There is a tutorial and the goals are clear. You may have to clear pathways and gather resources but there are also bandits to be dealt blows and wild boar to feed so they won't block your path. You need to cut stone, deliver stone, pick up gold along the way and you need to complete your goals in a set time to earn up to 3 stars. If you are a TM fan, this is a game you won't want to miss, enjoy!

I must admit back in the day I was a huge Tetris Fan and I was really good. This game however progresses very quickly and it get's frustrating. The object of the game is to eliminate the colored shapes by matching 3 of the same colors either vertically or horizontally. The problem is that the game starts out with 3 complete lines of different configurations and you need to place a piece that consists of 3 different colors and shapes. You will use your left mouse button to rotate the dropping piece, the right button to make the piece drop faster (yeah right) and you drag the piece left or right to align. There is also an even faster mode with the same basic concept on a ship and Sally's shapes, where you have to place a set amount of pieces in 30 seconds. I'm sure some people are going to love this fast paced game, but for me, I will stick with a more relaxing game. Enjoy!

If you are a fan of the Awakening series your gonna like this game, if you haven't played any games in this series I still think your gonna like this game. Queen Sophia has returned to Sunhook Spire to rescue the Enchantress. She has tried desperately to find a way to reverse the curse that has made her parents fall into a spiritless sleep. The colors are beautiful and the graphics are clear and crisp with magical flair. Your friend the wise owl has returned to assist you with directions as well as hints and that cute baby dragon is your faithful companion. Throughout the game you will be able to add magical powers like wind to your dragon to make him more powerful. The HOS are interactive and I loved the one where you had to find items in a pond as a turtle swims around and when you click on the water itself it reacts just like real water! This game however is all about the puzzles, every scene has plenty of things to do and the puzzles are fun and unique. The first puzzle set the pace for this game and I was hooked, you must exchange different goblin statues that are holding tools to match the hints as shown above but that's all you get are vague hints. Another puzzle I enjoyed was the pattern disks where you had to figure out the pattern with limited clues and missing clues in order to finish the pattern. So whether you are a fan of the Awakening series or not, I still think you will enjoy this game.

First of all I want to point out that the daughter of a police detective has a vivid dream about her fathers death, and it turns out to be true. Dad was wearing a protective amulet that was returned to his daughter after his death, she cries on it and it put's her smack dab into the past with a murderer! Her dad shows up to investigate the murder and the daughter explains that he is going to die and she shows him the amulet and he says "The stories are true it does protect our family" What? he was wearing it he dies, she was wearing it she gets trapped with a murderer! Now lets move on, Dad decides to leave her in the house alone with the uncaught murderer while he goes back to the station for backup! I'm thinking Father of the Year award! Anyway this is still a pretty good story and I always have to give a thumbs up to developers who think outside the box, in this case it's with the HOS. I liked the fact that in the left side of the HOS items list you will see some silhouetted items and after you find those items you use those items in the scene such as you find the silhouetted scissors then use those scissors to cut a ribbon on a package. There are a ton of mini games because of all the locks around the house that the owner had installed to keep her blood ruby safe. They are really fun puzzles and not too difficult. I was hoping to see achievements or collectables, anything to make this CE a little more worthwhile, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars, enjoy!

Very boring game of which you visit the same rooms over and over and some of the hidden items are the same one's you just found. The items are extremely small leaving you to guess and click. The storyline is lost because there is so much stuff to do in between scenes.
I don't recommend this game.
