Plain and simply a boring hidden object game with a whole bunch of reading. The graphics are poor and you go from room to room searching for random items some of which are unrecognizable or very small. One item listed was a tricorn which ended up being a hat! They threw in a couple of random puzzles one was opening up a lock by looking at a bunch of numbers written on a piece of paper??? Bottom line is no wow factor, just entering a room and finding a handful of items.
I don't recommend this game.

Henry Benoit is a young scientist who had a dream. He was obsessed with the belief that he could bridge a path between dreams and reality. During his experiment something goes wrong, terribly wrong and the Lord of Nightmares has been unleashed! You have been summoned to Mont Triste to investigate because everyone's asleep! You meet a young boy who hands you an amulet that allows you to enter anyone's dreams, how did he get this amulet? Is it a younger version of Henry or perhaps an arch rival of the evil Lord? Now it is up to you to enter the dreams which have become nightmares and solve the demons within and restore the dreams to a more peaceful rest. The hidden object scenes are well done and interactive such as placing a carrot to entice the rabbit out of hiding, and the items are easy to recognize. I wasn't a fan of the mini games because most of them are puzzles that you have slide and twist by pressing buttons that control 4 square tiles and they can get frustrating and may have you pressing the skip button! There was one mini game I loved, you had to click on closed eyes that would reveal different colors or iris shapes to make a matching pair but if you clicked on a non match all the eyes would close and you have to start over. Another game I found interesting was a facial recognition game that proved to me that I don't pay enough attention to details. You are shown a picture of a face and then it disappears and you must duplicate that face by choosing the shape of the face, the color and style of the hair and any other features such as moles, glasses or hair decorations. This is a good game with an interesting story and because you enter several dreams you are constantly getting new scenes to visit. There are no frills in this version, nothing to collect or earn, which can make the game seem a bit slow at times, but not bad for a standard edition, enjoy!

If you are a fan of the Dark Parables (who isn't?) series then you are in for a huge treat. Quite simply this is a very entertaining game with all the bells and whistles you could ask for. I knew right from the introduction this was going to be a fantastic game, the quality of the trailer was stunningly crisp HD quality, and what a story! A young Nobel fell in love with a common young girl who died suddenly leaving the Nobel empty and heartbroken! He believed the woman would eventually be reincarnated thus he kidnapped young women in his never ending quest to find her. In typical Dark Parable style the HOS are fragments that you find piece by piece until a complete item has been found, and it's not as easy as it sounds. There are 20 morphing or beyond objects to find, 14 pop up notes and 25 achievements to earn as well. Most of the mini games are new! To be honest, some of the games are frustrating but doable such as switching tiles with a certain number of items shown to their matching roman numerals but they can only be switched with certain highlighted tiles. Another game requires you to slide tiles around until the match the zodiac picture then a pattern appears and you need to click on the same symbols in the order that was shown briefly. There are a ton of mini games but not a whole lot of HOS which may disappoint some, however there are a lot of activities in every scene and there are a lot of out of the ordinary solutions which make this game a little more challenging. In conclusion I am purchasing this game and I bet you will want to do the same, enjoy!

Everybody's dying to get a room in the Haunted Hotel. This is where the Journey ends for two sworn enemies who once were best friends! As you help your good friend James investigate the Haunted Hotel you uncover secret passages, hidden doors and monsters! Death is everywhere, vampires have been staked and magicians have met a similar fate, what is going on with this epic battle of the supernatural? The Elephant has given us another superior game with super sharp graphics and and a very intriguing story. Although the CE has morphs and monsters to collect this is still a superior SE with plenty of activities to hold your interest. You won't find a bunch of hidden object scenes but they are interactive and very well done. Most of the mini games are doable without even reading the instructions such as choosing which item is correct for clearing a path such as a bucket of water to put out a fire. Some of the games are new like answering questions given by a crystal ball and choosing the correct magic card for the answer. There is a very good interactive map that can be used to jump to different locations quickly which comes in handy due to the fact that there are a lot of back and forth activities and several rooms in the Haunted Hotel. I really would be hard pressed to find anything negative to say about this game. It is a very professional well produced game, enjoy!

I actually liked this game better than the last one of this series! Morana the icy evil witch has kidnapped the goddess of spring casting a never ending brutal winter (who knows what happens to summer and fall) As the child of spring it is up to you to save the people of the village as well as all the cute animals trying to survive a relentless winter. Every scene is chock full of things to do, with a lot of inventory items to find and use as well as hidden pet coins. You find and name a beautiful ermine and use the coins you find to change her looks or add some bling, and there are some inventory items that she can help with by untangling ropes or sharpening sticks! The difficulty mode can be customized to suit you and there are a ton of unique achievements to earn. The HOS are interactive list finds as well as finding the items that match the shape shown in the inventory. You have the option of switching to a match 3 instead of hidden object scenes. The mini games are simple most of which are puzzles, swapping tiles, or turning tiles to complete a picture. This one's a keeper folks. enjoy!

This is a really good TM game with good graphics and you can choose relaxed or timed modes. You must clear paths and repair bridges and you must gather food and supplies and once you clear the paths Hercules will be summoned out of his sleep to lift a heavy boulder or build something of epic proportions, enjoy!

I'm not a fan of of these pictures although I'm sure there will be plenty who do. I enjoy animal and landscape pictures better. With that being said this game has wonderful features such as options for only showing border pieces, sorting and even changing the color of the background. You can have the picture ghosted on the background or show a picture of the puzzle. You can do puzzles of various sizes from New York to London and never have to worry about missing pieces, enjoy!

Obviously the sequel didn't live up to anyone's expectations. The first one did a fantastic job with every aspect of the game, very original, this one, not so original. The graphics aren't spectacular and the story just doesn't grab you hook line and sinker. This game takes place soon after we escape with Marco from the cursed ship and we land on the island where the curse began. The curse will only be lifted if we restore the golden idols that the pirates plundered. The HOS are actually done well, they are interactive list finds and the mini games are fairly simple such as painting different shapes different colors so that no alike colors touch each other. This edition has no idols to find, well actualy they are still there you just can't release hummingbirds and there are no morphs. Still it's entertaining, just not as entertaining as the original, enjoy!

This is a really good large file game with an excellent story about the search for evidence of a 12th planet with alien life and technology that the Germans were trying to acquire during the war. This isn't your typical HOS adventure but it does have enough familiar traits to make it easy to play. There is a lot of dialog reading and it is important to read because those are your basic instructions of where to go and what to do. There will be inventory items to pick up and use along the way and you will need to interact with things just as you would in real life such as answering the phone, pushing doorbells or intercoms. There are interactive HOS some are list finds some you need to place items back into the scene and some are find a certain number of an item. They have done a very nice job of making the player feel like they are actually in the game. The only downside in that at times the game moves a bit too slow but the story line keeps your interest, enjoy!

Cornelius the evil wizard has escaped; could this mean the end of our world and the fairy world? If the graphics had been a tad less cartoonish I would have rated this game higher. Fantasy fans are going to love this adventure with 20 magical creatures to find as well as your freshly hatched baby dragon which you get to name, mine is Chuck Norris! You also befriend a cute raccoon that helps you with those hard to reach areas. Most of the mini games revolve around recharging stones by combining two elements such as ice and fire. After mixing the two elements you need to drag a blue and red electrical charge past fuses of both colors without touching the red charge on the blue fuse and vise versa. You know the evil wizard is near when a strange fog rolls in and starts turning people into living trees which will eventually end both worlds as we know it, enjoy!
