The introduction video was pretty good, a young maid is madly in love with the young prince and unfortunately he is turned into stone and she falls into a river and pairs up with a dwarf. However, the TM game that follows falls a wee bit short, it's a little boring, and some of the tasks were difficult to choose because you had to click on just the right spot several times. The graphics aren't very good, and you must do the normal tasks such as collecting food off of trees and bushes, collecting chickens, removing trees, removing stones. fixing holes, collecting gold and saving different people. It wasn't a bad game but with the recent release of so many really good TM games this game seems second rate.

What an addictive and challenging little game! You need to match 3 or more of the same color cube on a checkered board, striving to get all 3 cubes with a star. You have to use strategy as well because some cubes are stacked, and when you launch the next tile it may move some of the weaker cubes to the next square. There are wedge tiles that lift a stack upwards and some cubes are stone and can only be removed with a laser therefor you need to wait until you receive that tool. Meanwhile you get a whole bunch of colors stacking up and blocking the way. The goal is to get all 3 stars by matching those cubes and you must collect a certain number of cubes to complete the level. The game progresses at a good pace and you can repeat the level as often as you want, there are also achievements to earn, enjoy!

It took me about 20 minutes to appreciate this game, which is just kind of odd and slow moving. When the name of the town is Grimville you can't expect happiness and and cheerfulness! This is an adventure game with a cartoon theme and several scenarios which you choose the outcome. For example, a man approaches you and asks you to distract the Doctor while he robs the man. He promises to give you some money which you need for the ride into town. You are given the choice to inform the Doctor that he will be robbed, or take the route of distraction and split the loot, thus a game to test your morals. That's an awesome concept but the game itself tends to be a bit confusing, often wondering what you are supposed to do next. There are only two modes of difficulty, easy (with easy puzzles) and hard (with more difficult puzzles) You click on characters and they make a weird grunting noise and unless you are supposed to get valid information from that character you get a vague response, all of which you need to read due to lack of voice overs. You are given a task of helping a character in exchange for money or information for example you may have to earn money from one character in order to buy candy from a vendor in order to give that candy to yet another character in exchange for information on a person you are investigating. There aren't really a lot of inventory items laying around to collect, most items you receive are from the characters or are in a hidden object game. The HOS are slightly interactive such as opening a drawer to reveal an item, and they are actually done pretty well, although they do double up on the hidden object scenes. I choose the setting with the harder mini games but they didn't seem too difficult in my opinion and you can always skip them. The mini game I liked the best was where you had to start a conveyor belt full of different sized suitcases and packages, and place 20 packages into the correct opening according to the size of the package and it may sound easy but the conveyor belt wasn't exactly going that slow and if you chose the wrong slot it would return to the belt and packages would fall off the belt leaving you having to start all over! There were plenty of mini games, and I would like to have seen more HOS, I loved the fact that you could choose which scenario you wanted but in my opinion, something was lacking in this game. Perhaps the lack of voice overs, the lack of activities or just the weird noises the characters made were the things that keep me from giving kudos to this game. It wasn't a bad game, it just doesn't have any wow factors for me.

Everything about this adventure is unusual. First of all the story is a twisted version of Jack and the Beanstalk, and you are sent to investigate the beans and dispel the magic surrounding them. When you zoom into one of the areas you will find that several pictures are added to your inventory and you must search several areas in order to find those items and use that item to solve the dilemma in the scene. There are several actions to solve in each scene and a lot of back and forthing to do. There aren't too many HOS but they are slightly interactive such as finding a corkscrew and removing a cork. There are a lot of mini games such as choosing a picture tile that matches a riddle or placing ingredients in a specific order according to a recipe written in vague references. The SE is the better value but in my opinion the unusual style of the game takes away from and confuses the story line. I can't quite put my finger on why, but I just wasn't thrilled over this game BUT I have to give props to the developers for thinking outside the box on this one.

You just moved into your dream house and the police are knocking on your door, your husband is the prime suspect in a series of murders! He swears he's innocent so it's up to you to find the murderer and clear your husbands name. Somebody has been killing people with specific talents such as pianists and sculptors, but why? What is the connection? The graphics are very good but I must admit that at times the gameplay became a little slow and boring. The HOS are interactive and some of the items are a bit difficult to find. The mini games are easy such as playing the piano as shown on the music sheet in order and the keys on the piano and the music sheet are pictures and you must choose the photo by association. For example a picture of a tree matches the picture of a leaf on the piano. You receive a magnifying glass that allows you to find hidden fingerprints and you can select a custom mode of difficulty, there are achievements to earn as well. This is a professionally produced game with clear graphics and an interesting story but I'm not sure it's worth the CE because there just aren't enough bells and whistles in my opinion.

For those of you who haven't played Otherworld, a quick breakdown: You purchased an old house and stumbled upon another world full of Fay Creatures some good some evil! You save Fiona from the evil Shade and gain sight into this magical dimension. Now fast forward to present and the Shade has escaped from the prison that the Fay Elders put him in and he has an evil sidekick, the Huntsman, who turns Fiona into stone. You lose your "sight" and have to recharge Fiona's magical locket in order to gain temporary visions. There aren't any real HOS but there are scenes where you find a certain number of Fay creatures, snowflakes crowns and even crystals and the are very interactive. You might have to turn knobs to move a stones position to reveal these creatures or use a pickax to open up crevices. There are mini games such as re-creating a face on a tree by clicking on various item on the tree to change them, but several other items change as well. There are also match pairs of items and puzzles that require you to finish painting a plaque by using the clues that are already there. This is a fairy tale themed adventure with beautiful yet un-realistic creatures with colorful flowers and glowing crystals. I think this version is a better buy unles you want to search for hidden fay dragons so enjoy!
This was supposed to be the happiest day of your life. But instead of walking down the aisle, you're in another dimension, battling a mad inventor to save your family!

We have another mad scientist on the loose and I'm beginning to think all scientist are evil! Your fiance has found a way to turn poisonous gas into an energy source and has been taken into another dimension against his will by a scientist willing to do anything for this ability! You will acquire a robotic dragonfly capable of dispersing poisonous gas and storing it's energy source in a box. Once again be on the lookout for 164 robotic observers, a one eyed mechanical bat or spider creepy crawler! You will also earn achievements for not skipping puzzles or finding hidden objects quickly and if you visit the achievements room you will get to name a kitty that is waiting for you there although I have no idea what that's for other than trying to add a cute factor to the game. The HOS are interactive list finds and there are gadgets to fool with such as a lever on a bed that reveals another compartment. The mini games are good and at least in the demo they were completely doable such as aligning planets along their orbit but each group of two planets moved when you tried to align another group of two. And is it just me or do the demos always seem to end right when you are about to solve the trickiest puzzle within the hour? In my opinion this is a fun and entertaining game, even though I wasn't blown away with the story which sounds all too familiar, enjoy!

I can overlook the poor graphics, oops I mean unique graphics, I can overlook the cartoonish characters, I can overlook the confusing mini games but I had no choice but to overlook the hidden objects because the were so TINY! I will give credit where credit is due, it doesn't have a bad story. You wake up in a dingy cell and you have no memory of who you are or where you are at. As you travel from room to room you find pieces of a mad scientist's log which is basically how you find out bits and pieces of the story, which quite honestly isn't new, but interesting anyway. You find 36 crystals hidden throughout the game and they are easier to find than some of the list items. The HOS are list finds, no interaction other than zooming in on a drawer etc. and believe me they are little items spread throughout the entire room. There are a lot of mini games some of which are not bad, others are just plain stupid and ridiculously simple such as placing fuses in the box and they are marked with letters and numbers and you simply have to spell hallway with h1, a2, l3, l4 and so on. There was one game I thought was unique, you had to find 15 traps, cameras and creatures it was actually well done. Anyway if you like the kind of hidden object game that is done with an entire room full of very tiny objects then this is a good game to play, otherwise I think it might frustrate a lot of players.

Big Fish has done it again, I'm already addicted to playing this game! Warning! This game will have you glued to the computer for hours if not days. This game is a tower defense strategy game that is actually very simple. You must click on the available spaces to pull up available equipment such as artillery or cannons and then click to build whichever you have the funds for. There are several paths the enemies take so you need to carefully decide what and where to buy in order to defend the castle from invasion. You get gold for each enemy you destroy which you will need to quickly upgrade weapons because each new wave sends stronger and faster attacks. You also earn gems which will be used to purchase upgrades such as a larger range or a cheaper cost. You can build mines that produce more gold but it takes the place of a weapon, however, you can sell anything you build and rebuild a different weapon. Each level has at least 6 waves of attack which can give you a few seconds to re-group between waves. If you have never tried this type of game because it doesn't look all that exciting, you might want to give it a try because I don't know anyone who has tried this type of game, say it wasn't the most addicting game they have ever played, enjoy!

If you thought they couldn't make the Northern Tale game better, you would be wrong! The graphics are improved 3D which makes the game almost lifelike. I also liked the tidbits of information they give you about the Vikings such as the surprising fact that Vikings were the only one's who bathed everyone else thought it was unhealthy! There are the usual TM tasks of collecting food and gathering resources of gold and lumber. There are 3 different modes of difficulty, normal, multi- click and relaxed without timer. You must complete the tasks given within certain times to earn 1-3 stars (in timed modes) such as repairing bridges, building houses or upgrading buildings to hire more workers. When you build gardens or mills they will continue to produce resources which are needed before bridges or gates can be constructed. There are bonus tools at the bottom of the screen that when activated can speed up the vikings or even freeze time for 15 seconds. Personally I loved this game even more than the original one, enjoy!
