Good news, you have been invited to a resurrection! Bad news, it's your sister! Your brother-in-law is a self taught alchemist who wants to bring his beautiful wife back to life, and wreak havoc on the people who ran him out of his childhood town after a horrible accident claimed her life. The collectors edition has hidden coins and zoo animals, and you can upgrade the panel and bring your animals to life. The hidden object scenes are slightly interactive list finds as well as putting inventory items back into their logical positions in the scene. You have the option to switch to a jigsaw puzzle instead of the hidden object scene. There are lots of mini games such as pulling levers on the right and left side of the bridge until all boards are flat and showing a picture, You will keep a dossier of the different characters you come across and when Emmett accidentally leaves behind his alchemist crucible, you will use it to transform and change certain items as you try to stop Emmett from doing the unthinkable! Enjoy!

What! I can't believe this game got such poor ratings, what a clever HdO game. Alice and her sister have followed that famous rabbit into his lair full of very clever and fun hidden objects and unique puzzles. This is one of the few directional scene games I loved, usually I'm not a fan of the click, drag and zoom into the entire scene games. You can earn extra hints by finding gold stars, a minimum of 6, so don't be afraid to use a hint they are easily obtained in the next scene (if not in the current scene) Some of the scenes have several of one item to find such as 8 blue butterflies, 8 white butterflies or 2 green doors, or 6 red doors. I loved the puzzles, and there were a ton of em, each puzzle had more pieces and became more difficult, some required you to swap tiles some required you to swap tiles and rotate the pieces. My favorite one by far was the puzzle of the rabbit as seen through a keyhole. For some reason this one was really hard, perhaps because of the 3 dimensional picture it was difficult to figure out at first how a large tree fit into the top of the puzzle. One unique aspect I noticed was when Alice was following the rabbit via a large hole in the ground and she was looking down into his house and rooms, it was an interesting view I haven't seen before. I thought this was going to be a game suited best for young kids, either I'm getting younger, or this is a game for everyone, enjoy!

I personally wasn't over the top with this game, but I think younger kids will really enjoy this adventure searching the islands for your missing grandfather. This is a hidden object game where you have to find items that match the silhouetted shapes in your inventory bar. Once you find all of the items or pieces of the items, you then use those items accordingly. You might have to find all the boards to build a box, then find items that will be packed into the box. You will then play a mini game packing these items in a grid formation figuring out how all of the items will fit together. Then you will find a hammer and nails and the top boards to finish up the project. It isn't a bad game by far, just a little cartoonish and super simple which can easily become boring to an accomplished hogger, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

A mysterious package arrives explaining that you are a descendant to Alexander The Great. You are asked to fly (all expenses paid of course) to Greece to help with ancient artifacts belonging to the Emperor. I have to admit, when this game was first released, I played it for 3 minutes before quitting because it was so boring. I decided to give it a second chance and once we left the building and arrived in Greece things were much better. You can choose two different types of gameplay, a continuing 360 degree scan of the area or a click the directional arrow to move to that location. I must admit the hidden object games are quite nicely done with some of the items very hard to find. The mini games are pretty much self explanatory such as moving gold marbles along several diamond shaped tracks in order to allow room for the red marbles to be moved to the center diamond. You need to give this game a little time, and other than the main character constantly saying the text out loud, it's not too bad, enjoy!

Fantabulous epic game. When the introduction video started playing, I was so impressed by the epic tale and quality that I almost paused the game to cook some popcorn! (then I remembered it's still morning) You and your son are headed home after a cabin retreat when a huge majestic tree opens up and swallows little Jimmy! Naturally you follow, always one step behind. A kind Hobbit offers to help you find Jimmy and destroy the evil entity that binds him. This forest is vast and you will help the dwellers of this forest in exchange for their help. There are numerous puzzles in this game, and several forest collections hidden within such as fossils and pinecones, and achievements to earn. The hidden object games are a bit scarce in this game but they are a mixture of finding the items that match the silhouetted shapes and progressive finds where you find the first item and use that item in the scene in order to find the next item. I love the puzzles! They aren't really new but they are fun such as swapping tokens to match the pictures around them but you have to swap them in the correct spots so they all match up as a continuing loop. I was really blown away by the quality of this game, but I was mostly impressed with the story and the mini games, this is one of the good one folks, enjoy!
Follow orphan Eva on a trip to mystical Prague. Will she find out about her Royal origins, find real love, and save the world from a monster? It’s all up to you.

My favorite part about this game was the two adorable puppies that ran across the screen before the game started. You travel to Prague because you learn that you have acquired a royal inheritance. Your main goal here is actually learn about you family origins but something just isn't right with the mansion, and certainly not with the family members. To make matters worse, ghosts are floating all over the house, are they trying to tell you something? I wasn't a fan of the 360 degree directional travel where you either made left or right turns instead of back and forth. Instead of zooming into a picture hanging on the wall for instance, you had to click up and then it would take you to the picture with nothing to do but look at it and in my opinion it was time consuming and the room spins you had to do were unnecessary. The hidden object scenes were list finds and you had to toggle between the list of items and your inventory to retrieve a key for instance to open a drawer in the HOS to find the next items. Many of the items you find will contain clues to figure out codes for locks or the position of drawer handles, you need to keep a keen eye and remember what needs a code that matches. I really liked the mini game where you had to place marbles of the same color in a row, vertically or horizontally, which would push the next colored marble out and you simply repeat that process until all the marbles are the same. This was certainly not a horrible game, although the graphics are poor, but all of the shadows of ghosts reminded me of the old black and white Dracula movie where you see the shadow on the wall of Dracula sneaking up behind you.

You are a student at the High School of Magical Arts, where your Uncle just happens to be an alchemist/wizard! The very first scene has you searching for hidden scrolls and parchment paper but this is really a match 3 game with a few HO mini games. There are trophies or achievements to earn as well. The only complaint I have is that the different colors of gems don't stand out enough and when you progress in levels, it gets difficult because of this. The main idea is to collect coins that are in some of the gems, by matching at least 3 of those. You will also have to make matches in order to thaw some of the frozen gems. Some of the gems have bonus tokens, lightning bolts, explosions, thunder towers and even sprinkling the entire board with coins. You use these coins to upgrade your castle and surrounding areas. A very entertaining match 3 game, enjoy!

This Native American Myth is about the Great Wolf spirit. When odd things start happening at The Center For Native Americans, your good friend Jesse calls you in for help. No sooner than you arrive, your family amulet begins glowing just like the mysterious icons throughout the center! You will find pieces that belong to your amulet, and as you repair the amulet you will be able to lift curses from certain items. You will also bring your binoculars which will need to be focused each time it is used. You are the chosen one, the "seer" sent by the ancients to find Misu, once a prisoner, now full of revenge! The hidden object games are a mixture of interactive list finds as well as finding items that match the silhouetted shapes. You can choose a bubble shoot game instead. The mini games are fairly simple and most of them are tile swap puzzles for example. I for one really enjoyed the Native American themed game, I think you will too, enjoy!

I actually thought this game was way more interesting than the last Alabama. You are the best student of archaeology at the University of Yale and the Dean sends you to the University of Naples for the summer. Your quest is to find an amulet that was believed to be used for time travel but was last seen before the volcanic eruption in Pompeii. It is also rumored that a secret society was in charge of protecting the amulet, this society just happens to be in a hidden room at the University of Naples! There are inventory items to find and use to progress throughout the game and several mini games such as spot the difference. I did like this game better because of the subject, but I'm still not crazy about either game.

Marie stole his heart, he the composer, she the performer who danced so beautifully and truly made his music come to life! But when he realizes that her heart belongs to another, it's more than he can bear. He burns the theater to the ground. If he can't have her, nobody else will either! As time passes by, everyone has long forgotten the tragedy, the horrible accident, or so everyone believes! Your sister performs this beautiful ballet wonderfully, but, she hasn't been seen since. You break into the theater to find her, something terrible must have happened to her. You soon find out the horrible truth when the souls of that tragic night plead for your help in breaking Gaspar's curse. Gaspar has another agenda, the never ending performance and everyone's invited including you and your sister! You will collect 44 flowers for Marie's bouquet and this edition has several "extras" such as unlimited mini games and HOS, a bonus game and even a souvenir shop. The hidden object games are a mixture of interactive list finds and finding items that match the silhouetted shapes. If you choose to customize the game play, you can opt for easy, medium or hard hidden object scenes! If you don't like the HOS you can switch to a game of bubble shoot instead. The mini games are for the most part easy. My favorite ones were recreating poses on several ballerina statues to recreate the picture and placing the ballet shoes on two shelves in the correct place with only a few torn up pictures to use for hints. This is a very professional quality game with exceptional graphics, and cut scenes. Whether you are a fan of the performing arts or not, I truly believe this game will be entertaining for almost any audience, enjoy!
