The Villagers of a small town have feared the Abyss, feared the evil that resides deep within. Nobody enters the dark forest, everyone fears the unknown. But when a huge bear wreaks havoc on the pre-wedding party and kidnaps your twin sister Lillie, it's more than the townspeople can bear! They Grim and Bear their fears and chase after this beast into the depths of the forest. Meanwhile, an accident in the forest has landed you smack dab into an enchanted cove. As you tinker with gadgets and fix everything broken you come across a witch's cabin, friend or foe? The game begins with some heart pounding action as your carriage is nearly destroyed by this same bear, but the good mews is that you find a kitten to help you chase away rats and retrieve items out of reach. The hidden object games are a variety of finding fragments that make a complete inventory item, as well as finding the first item that matches the silhouetted shape and using this item back in the scene such as a key, using it on a lock, and then finding the next item. You can switch to a game of dominos in place of the HOS. The very first mini game was repairing Lillie's wedding necklace in three steps. First you had to switch flower petals so that each section had matching shapes like circles and squares. Then you had to slide middle gems around until they were in the flower with their matching color. The third step was to link chains from one flower to it's matching flower. The mini game I liked the best was linking colored tiles together with ropes, but you can't cross path's with other colors. A really nice game with an excellent story, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Unfortunately this is the third and final Nightmares from the Deep, but the good news is that it happens to be the best one! Once again Davy Jones has taken you and Cory prisoner aboard his ship, and throws you overboard after Cory signs her soul away to Davy Jones! Once you are somewhat safe on the island you discover the 12 guardians of Davy Jones memory, they remember that there is a condition that unbinds contracts but they can't remember what that condition is, that's for you to discover mate. There are 12 collectible Seahorses, 24 collectible Puzzle pieces and 10 Pirate cards to find with lot's of achievements to earn. The hidden object scenes can be switched to a pirates game of mahjong, I loved the voice interactive mini game of the pirate pictures. The First Mate (skeleton of course) asks you to get rid of the other pirates below him in exchange for a secret, all you have to do is switch the hats to the correct pirate. Some of the hats shoot cannons, some lightning, some have gems that deflect the lightning, and the whole time the First Mate is cheering you on, quite entertaining! There are so many gadgets to fiddle with, plenty of skeleton pirates to deal with and some extremely stunning and detailed graphics, this one tops my list for the year so far, enjoy!

The witch stole your son in Behind the Reflection, trapping him inside a parallel mirror world. Of course her intentions weren't good, she needed the souls of children to make her magic stronger. Good prevailed over evil, you saved your son and the witch went to jail. However she got a hold of a mirror and so the saga continues....The goal of this game is to find several pieces of a set or object such as finding the witches voodoo doll. When you come across a sparkling item and click on it, several circles will pop up with pictures of items needed to complete that task. When you find those items you click and drag them onto the correct circle. Usually there is one item that requires you to complete a hidden object list find game to receive the final component, Each time you find all of the circled items you get to play a mini game such as turning oven dials to the black mark, each dial controls the movement of other dials. This game is a nice change of pace from the usual hidden object games, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

There isn't much to say here folks, it's different that's for sure. Sorry, but it missed the mark. The sense of humor is a plus for me but there was too much dialog, some of the dialog just flashed by because I failed to read the top dialog bar while looking for hidden object list finds. This is a murder detective game, Gus the detective and Shawn the memory expert who was trained by his father who was a police officer as well. There is little to do in each scene, you see an item that you know you need to pick up but can't until you find the area where that object is needed and then you go back and pick up that item. There are mini games that aren't too bad such as finding brochures with matching symbols or choosing which 3 items are pertinent to that case. Inventory items are picked up by Gus and the visual memories are stored in Shawns memory, not actually picked up (basically a living journal) It's just an okay game for me, I didn't even finish the demo.
After inheriting an old antique shop, Emily discovers an odd diary that seems to contain a number of clues as to the book's origin. As she delves deeper into the mystery, what she uncovers will change her forever.

This could have been a great game, just because items are microscopic/blurry it does not make them well hidden. In the first scene you will acquire a lantern and a magnifying glass that can be used in any scene at any time by left clicking on the one you want to use and then right clicking to use that item (and you will use them alot) This is a story about Emily, she inherits her Uncle's Antique Shop and discovers a Book Of Souls. Even though he just died two weeks earlier, his name, date of birth and death were written in the book already. As she starts to feel a connection with the souls of the book you travel to different locations telepathically. Again this is a great concept, although not new, and I really don't mind a game with nothing but HOS, but I really don't want my eyes to bulge over the stress of finding 5 keys and a chisel! There are mini games as well such as word search and flipping tiles over to find a matching pair. If you don't mind looking through the magnifying glass most of the time then you just might enjoy this game.

You are enjoying a beautiful day with your son until he is trapped in a magical mirror by an evil witch! This game is a lot different than most hidden object games, it still has the usual hidden object list finds (most scenes are doubled up) but there are several items that when you click on them, several circles pop up with the related items needed to complete that task. Once you find an item you click and drag that item onto the correct circle and once all those items are found you will receive a piece of map or an ingredient to a potion or whatever the task might be for that scene. There are arrows that indicate direction to another room or area and you start that same process over. There are lot's of mini games as well such as putting pieces of a bird feeder together, balancing scales with pieces of coal, or matching zodiac symbols to zodiac pictures. Good HOG, enjoy!

This is a hidden object game based on bedtime stories about your relatives dreams that never came true. I must admit that I wasn't all that thrilled with this game because most of the time I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing. The hidden object scenes themselves were actually pretty good, mostly list finds some items required multiples such as 2 masks or 4 stars. A rat appears out of nowhere and I wasn't expecting the solution to be picking up a rock and hurling it at the rat to kill him, hence the confusion. There are tasks to do such as finding a hat and putting it into the hat box or trying to find several light bulbs laying around in a dark room with nothing but a small beam of light from a kerosene lamp. Again it was extremely difficult to find these light bulbs. I wasn't crazy about the mundane tasks but I did like the hidden object scenes.

Becky Brogan has always been interested in puzzles and mysteries, she has a knack for finding missing items too. I thought this was a relaxing hidden object game, nicely done. There is an available Free mode where you can play hidden object scenes again in any location that has been played in the story mode. Each scene in the story mode has three hidden cats that are used for hints and I will admit that I couldn't find a few of them, the number of cats/hints seems to be unlimited as well. There were only two things I didn't like which kept me from giving this game 5 stars. Some of the items are too small to recognize and the scenes are repeated, the list items are different but the cat/hints are the same cats in the same exact place. Other than that I really had fun playing this game, enjoy!

Princess Sophia awoke from a 100 year slumber in in The Dreamless Castle, traveled to Moonfell Wood to visit the witch and find where her people are. The witch suggested she ask the King in the Goblin Kingdom and she has finally found her people in The Skyward Castle but is still searching for her parents, the King and Queen. This quest isn't easy because the evil Dreadmyre is hunting her, and she was born without magic! The first thing I noticed about this game, the 4th in the Awakening series, was that the puzzles have become more elaborate and much harder to solve, there are also fewer of them. There are simple puzzles such as finding the two stitches that are connected by following the stitch through a woven pattern, a game of blocks, pic cross and of course rotating puzzle pieces to complete a picture. There are more time consuming puzzles such as fixing a generator. You have to follow the tool guide picture book, page by page, using the inventory pieces and interacting with different components of the generator. The hidden object games are mostly finding 12 switches or carrots but there are also interactive list finds with some of the items located in areas that you zoom into. Ran has joined us in this game for the second game in a row as well as that cute little fire breathing pocket dragon. This Collectors Edition has a Strategy Guide, a Bonus Game, Concept Art and beautiful Wallpapers. This is one of my top favorite Fantasy themed series out there, it's hard to top the beautiful graphics, entertaining games and of course the ongoing perils of Princess Sophia's journey, enjoy!

This game has wonderful potential for young kids, the problem is that too many quests are difficult to figure out. I think a lot of questions could be answered with a better tutorial. There are 5 kinds of objects in this game. There are common objects which you simply find hidden about, broken items which need several pieces before complete, time sensitive which will require you to find the related items quickly for extra points, special tools which you use in the scene to find something and bottles of milk for extra hints. Have fun scrolling through the different barnyard scenes looking left, right, up and down, enjoy!
