This is the second game Cate West has to offer the first being The Vanishing Files. Cate West is a novelist who has a gift for seeing things simply from touching items. The goal in this game is to find a dangerous murderer and find items needed to forge the Velvet Keys. The graphics are very well done and you earn points from the games by finding items quickly for example, the points you earn actually determine the ending which is really cool in my opinion. The HOS are a mixture of list finds, fragmented pieces which form into one item, finding multiples of one item such as 10 feathers, and placing objects into the scene. Everything about this game is different and I think this actually makes some gamers dislike the game, for me it doesn't have any wow factor, but it's not bad either, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I'm a big fan of this dev and the clever creepiness they are able to achieve. I love the feel of the creepy abandoned summer camp, you truly do feel alone and a bit creeped out, as if someone is watching you. There is only a brief introduction video that shows a distraught mother pleading for help from a detective named Brenda Livingston. Several children have gone missing from summer camp and adults and children as well have become deathly ill from this unknown disease. This is a hoggers game for sure, nearly every scene will have a hidden object scene, and they are simply list finds, no interaction, no frills, just well done hidden object scenes. This is a fairly simple game that has no bells and no whistles, no collectibles, there are plenty of inventory items to find in each scene and plenty of thing to fix and unlock, but mostly there are plenty of puzzles and mini games that seem to get a little more difficult or complicated as you progress. There are simple puzzles that require you to swap tiles until you complete the picture, there are buttons that need pushed in the correct order by trial and error. There are even games such as blocks where you must adjust fuses up down left and right in order too allow the blue fuse to pass through by unblocking it. Some puzzles were more complicated such as connecting wires of different lengths and angles with the goal of getting the pressure gauge to 32. You don't use all the wires just the correct ones and I will admit this game frustrated me a wee bit! Another mini game involved flipping coins over so that only the engraved side shows and of course when you flip one coin over it would flip others you didn't want flipped.
A hardcore adventure gamer will probably blow this game out of the water due to it's simplicity, but don't overlook this one. The graphics are clear and realistic, though the story has been done before and in different variations, it's still a good story. What this game does have to offer are tons of hidden object scenes and tons of mini games with a nice story and relaxing pace, so let's go find Peter, Johnny, Thomas and Kenan, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Cate West is a novelist who has the gift of visions simply by touching items. The city has a bunch of unexplained cases dubbed The Vanishing Files and Cate West is the man (woman) for the job. You need to find hidden objects that are on your list and weed out the innocent people until you find the guilty party. There are mini games such as spot the difference as well. No voiceovers so you need to do a lot of reading other than that it's a nice deductive hidden object who dun it game, enjoy!

What a beautiful fantasy themed hidden object game. Little brother never listens does he? It seems the folk lore is true, Fairy Folk do exist and have taken your little brother Gavin because he just couldn't listen and stay put! Grandmother was always a witch, no really she is a good witch and you travel to her humble abode to whip up a seeing potion and find the Folk responsible for kidnapping Gavin (before your Folks find out) Each scene has a few items that need to be moved aside in order to find a listed item and some scenes have zoomed in areas to get a closer look for some items. There are potions to mix and items to fix or unblock along your journey. There are no voiceovers so you have to read the dialog boxes but there aren't so many that they overwhelm you. The graphics are really clear and beautifully crafted although I found some of the items too small to recognize. Very nice game that can be played in a casual or expert mode of difficulty, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I have always been a huge fan of TD games and it see seems they get better each time, I never tire of defending my castle. The goal is to strategically place cannons of different strengths and ranges on tower pads to defend the castle from the incoming enemy. As you destroy the enemy ships, you earn loot and anchor points. The loot is used to build and upgrade your cannons and the anchors are used to either build weapons on pads that require anchors only or to purchase upgrades in the workshop. There are several upgrades and more are added as you progress. Usually upgrades include wider cannon range, more damage by the cannons and a lower cost of cannons. You can also choose upgrades that give you a larger budget to start the level with, more loot awarded for enemy ships and even 5 points extra for castle health. There are 3 modes of difficulty, Easy, Normal and Hard, you can restart the level as many times as you want in order to earn 3 stars which are awarded by the amount of health you have at the end of all waves of attack (usually 6) There will also be bonuses that can be used such as missiles that you click on and use to slow down the enemy so the cannons can finish them off before reaching the castle. You may want to build a resource tower which does nothing to the enemy but produces money to buy more towers. When a wave is about to start, an icon will alert you as to which path the enemy will enter, if you click on the icon before the timer reaches 0, you earn extra points. There is a very good tutorial and you can play the Easy mode if you haven't ever played a tower defense game, and it's a very exciting and fast paced game so you are definitely missing out on a fun game. If you are a hard core TD gamer, you will certainly enjoy the Hard mode for a challenging game, enjoy!

Excellent story, unique bonuses, bright vivid colors, but the game itself is easy. You must help Dan find his girlfriend in the city and back home during a zombie apocalypse. If you make a match of 5 or more gems you get a bomb on the board and you need to click to activate. The goal is to clear all yellow tiles on the board. The bonuses are actually mercenaries and heros etc. such as Johnny Delgardo who removes all tiles of one type from the board, or Sherry Hill who throws bombs with no aim. The catch is that in order to use these guys you have to pay a whopping sum of your cash just to unlock them and then you have to pay to use them each time, which I thought was kind of cool. Some of the tiles are blocked by different things such as skeleton stones which can be unblocked by making matches over or next to the stones or by using a bomb. I had a lot of fun playing the demo and am looking forward to seeing how things progress, enjoy!

Yep, I'm still a jigsaw puzzle freak and this Easter version has me hopping down the bunny trail! There are 5 boxes with 100 different puzzles in each box ranging from 35 pieces to 1000. There are trophies to earn and you can modify any puzzle with options of pieces that rotate, the number of pieces and even the shape of the pieces. You can choose background colors of green, pink, blue or grey and you can turn off the music if desired. Each game has a box in the top left corner where you can store excess pieces until you need them, you can hang a picture image up with x1, x2, or x3 in size or you can use a ghost image of the puzzle for the background. You have the options of selecting only the border pieces to begin with or even sorting the pieces but check out the trophies first because you won't earn some trophies if you use this feature. It will take you several days to finish 500 different puzzles so this is definitely worth the price, enjoy!

Morton Wolf was the greatest filmmaker of all time, but he was also a great inventor, the inventor of the projector that blurs the line between reality and fantasy. Once again the projector is in corrupt hands, a stagehand that longs for a legacy of recognition, a serial killer who calls himself "The Director". With this game you switch between the real world and the stage world the director has prepared from a scene in Morton Wolfs original film. You need to figure out how to find items when the camera is turned off and use those items to save the person who is in danger in the fantasy scene, which can be confusing. The hidden object games are progressive silhouettes, however they usually have a zoom in area with a smaller section and list finds. You can choose to play a match 3 game instead. There aren't many puzzles but the first one was pretty cool. You needed to guide the bunny with arrows on a maze and as he gets to the edge the other side of the maze rotates and you have to go through all 4 sides to get to the carrot. This is the third Final Cut and quite possible the best story of them all, enjoy!

There's been a whole lot of upgrading done on this game which is the second version of Cassandra's Journey. To start with the graphics are slightly clearer, there are over 1500 items in 35 locations, there is a fortune telling room that has a Fairway card game, Pyramid card came, Paris and Mahjong games as well. As you progress in the game you unlock mini games and Nostradamus tricks, Mahjong, match 3, puzzle swaps and those power of deduction psychic games too. Some of the listed items to find are in blue which indicates that a task needs to be done with that item to complete the level such as finding a certain number of books and then placing those books on a bookshelf, or finding 10 candles, placing those candles into existing candleholders and then lighting the candles after finding matches. You will need to toggle between the inventory list and the task of listed items to find. There are several types of hints, as you find items or complete tasks the hint potion will refill. The Pointer spell hint will show you the exact location of an item but will cost you 90% of your hint potion, the Area Spell will show you a small area which contains the item and costs 50% of the hint potion, the Magic Wand potion causes the crystal ball to glow brighter when you are near the object and costs 80% of the hint potion. The Object Photo Spell is new, it will show a photo of the object in the crystal ball and costs 60% of the hint potion, the hint will refill naturally but at a very slow rate so try to find items quickly to refill the hint potion faster. The crystal ball will show the number of tasks completed against the amount needed to complete. I love the new features added to this hidden object game which was good to start with, Cassandra's Journey: Nostradamus, and I like how they continue along with the story from her first journey, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The only complaint I have with this game is the fact that there is a ton of dialog boxes to read, but if you don't care about the story you can always use the skip all button. This is a really well done hidden object game, Cassandra is plunged into the psychic world alone after the death of her Aunt. Her first case is to find a missing person whom nobody else can including the police. She is only an apprentice so she types help into the search engine and voila, the spirit of Nostradamus comes to her aid! To prove his psychic powers he shows us a group of card and tells us to choose any card without clicking on it and our card will be gone when he shuffles the deck. Sure enough whatever card you chose will indeed disappear as well as all the other cards because they have all been replaced with a different suit! There are listed items to find as well as silhouetted shapes. Each level has several gems to collect which can be used to purchase extra hints or time. There are 3 different types of hints, 1-Exact location of the item, this will cost you 6 gems to replace. 2-Highlight of a small area surrounding the item, this will cost you 2 gems to replace. 3-The cursor will radiate brighter as the cursor gets closer to the item, this will cost you 3 gems to replace. You can purchase additional time to add to the timer and this will cost you 12 gems each time. You do have the option of playing this game in timed or untimed modes. Between each HOS is a clever mini game such as a game of solitaire which you need to click on the exact card values, king and king two and two it doesn't matter what the suit is. Nice and relaxing with or without a timer, enjoy!
I recommend this game!
