.....And Santa Big Fish delivered this excellent Solitaire game to pass the time! You can choose from 9 different Christmas themed card decks, and three different face card styles, and there are even trophies to earn! You will begin the game as a Newbie which allows you to replay any level, but after the first tutorial game you can switch to Professional which only allows you to replay the entire pack (10 games) This game works on the principle of a chain. You take a card from the board and place it on the deck with a card either one higher or one lower no matter the suit. If you are able to remove all of the Gold cards, you win that hand automatically even if other cards remain on the board. The meter starts to fill up after you collect five cards in a row, with the goal to win the jackpot golden present. You earn points for each card and some of the cards are worth more than others. You will be able to purchase bonuses in the shop, Mulligan which allows you to undo your last move including using your bonus, a Shuffle which puts all cards back into the deck and re-deals, and a Joker which is a wildcard. Although there isn't really anything different about this game, I still found it to be quite entertaining, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is a cute Christmas themed Match 3 game that let's you purchase decorations for your house with a Christmas Tree, wreaths, candles, ornaments and more. I would have found this game more appealing if the Match 3 items were more colorful, instead the various items to match are bland and drab. There are Moons, Santa Sleighs, Ornaments, Stars, Snowflakes and even Cupcakes to match! You can choose either Timed or Relaxed modes, and the goal is to complete the game to earn 3 gold stars (you can re-play any level) You will need to swap tiles in groups of at least 3, as you drop coins from the top to the bottom. There are tiles that are locked, and even tiles that are covered in snow, and you need to make matches on all silver and gold cells as well. The decorations can be purchased after each level with the coins you have earned, but you don't have to buy them to progress. There are power ups to earn such as a Mighty bomb which clears a group of tiles, a Chameleon which can be matched with any tile and directional Rockets which clears an entire line in the direction the rocket is facing. There are even tiles with lumps of Coal which can only be removed by using a power up, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The poor Nutcracker has been turned into a toy once again, but by now he's probably used to it! To complicate this dire situation, his sister Nina and her fiance Charlie have become toy victims too! Charlie and Nina were childhood sweethearts who were planning their wedding when Charlie was called into war, but Nina vowed to wait for him as long as it took. Several suitors tried in vain to woo Nina, but her heart remained true and she waited for Charlie's return. The Baron himself was one of those suitors who wanted Nina for his own, he even ordered his servants to do whatever it took to assure that Charlie would never returns to Nina's loving arms. Charlie was severely wounded and lost his leg as a result of his injury, his love for Nina was the only thing that gave him the will to fight for his life! The Baron became filled with rage and turned everyone into teeny tiny toys when he saw that Charlie had returned, the Nutcracker was the only one who managed to escape just before the Baron threw poor Charlie into the fireplace and kidnapped Nina!
It's a good thing Charlie is now made of tin because you are able to meld a new tin soldier using Charlie's original crystal heart, and with a little bit of paint, he's as good as new and available at a moments notice to fight those pesky Box Trolls!
The Nutcracker joins us in the adventure as a hint icon, and you may want to consider the Collectors Edition because there are 36 collectible puzzle pieces that fit into three different pictures. When the pictures are completed, they become animated screensavers, and there are 15 Christmas packages throughout the game that contain miniature cat collectibles. Some of the inventory items you find are complex items as indicated by a snowflake, which means some type of interaction is required before using that item such as opening the package or combining the item with another inventory item.
The Hidden Object Scenes are stunning, with Christmas themed items, some are silhouetted shapes to find, interactive list finds that expose puzzle pieces that you swap to complete a picture and even moving items two at a time trying to find matching pairs. The mini games aren't difficult but certainly fun such as guiding soldier Charlie through a re enactment scene from the war, you have Charlie shoo away a crow, the crow drops the key into a haystack, Charlie pushes the cow out of the way to search the haystack to find the key that opens a chest containing an axe to chop down the door of a burning house and so forth.
I preferred the Collectors Edition, which has Wallpapers, Music, Concept Art, Animated Screensavers, Collectible jigsaw puzzle pieces, Collectible miniature Cats, Achievements, a built in Strategy guide and two Bonus Chapters. Either way you're in for a magical adventure, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

It might be time to give up this deadly script, how many actors must die to convince the producers? True Escapades has returned to production once again, unfortunately, each time production resumes, someone ends up dead! Brian Garcia is the latest victim of this movie screen curse, when a seemingly innocent gun prop was a bit too realistic, and was loaded with real bullets! Question is, did Ruben know the bullets weren't fake? Someone want's this production scrapped pretty badly, a ransom note has been found with an ultimatum, bring the original film to studio 6's rooftop or Ruben and Brian's wife will die! Just what is so important about this old film and why are people associated with the film dying?
Some of the inventory items have plus sign indicators, which require you to interact with the item before using, and they have equipped us with an old school slide projector viewer. Whenever the viewer icon begins to shake, that's an indication that you can put any slide that you have come across into the viewer and use the viewer in that same scene in the form of spot the difference, with a difference! There is a slider button at the top which you slide to the right and left of the current scene, and click on any item that is different than the original scene. (okay, that's kinda cool) There are 40 collectible film strips in the Collectors Edition but not this edition, (one in each scene, and they are well blended into the background, so kudos on that as well).
The Hidden Object Scenes were a bit too scarce in my opinion, and a tad bit mundane, first you find 5 musical notes which will unlock that window to expose a key which is used to open up the next window with list finds, then you find 5 stars to unlock the next window which exposes a knife which unlocks the next list find. The mini games were okay, but way too easy, however I would rather they be easy than frustratingly impossible. Most games were tiles that you swap to create a complete picture, or use arrows to roll a ball toward the hole of a labyrinth maze and the easiest game was sliding tokens through a simplistic maze to place on top of symbols located along the maze so that the token and symbol create the same symbol shown on the diagram.
The Collectors Edition claims to have Morphing Objects, 40 hidden Film Strips (what happened to the clapboards?) Match 3 games, 18 replayable HOS and 17 replayable Puzzles, 19 Achievements, a Souvenir Room (only available in full version) Movies, Music, Making of (only available in full version) Snap Shots and Wallpapers, Pictures, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter. This game will surely delight diehard Final Cut fans, but I personally wasn't over the top thrilled, mostly because of the story, but the dialog was poor at times and the acting wasn't that great either. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Help rebuild Santa's Village in time for Christmas, there's only 24 days to go in this Christmas wonderland Advent Calendar! This is a solitaire game in which you can play a card either higher or lower than the current card shown on the deck. For each day on the advent calendar, you will play four hands during the day and four hands during the evening. the closer you get to Christmas the more cards you will unlock! You will also collect chocolate coins that will allow you to purchase new items such as: a Christmas Tree which allows you one undo per deck, an Elf Hut full of mischievous elves that let you match any card with a joker, Mrs. Claus Bakery allows you to remove all top layers at once, Santa's House full of magic that let's you turn over the top layer of cards at once and even a Toy shed which is a factory that will give you two special new cards to play with! There is an ornament icon which keeps track of the number of cards you play in a row and gives you a bonus multiplier when the ornament fills to the top. Some cards are covered in Holly which need to be collected twice, cards buried in snow require you to find the card with the shovel before you can uncover the snowed under cards and some hands require you to play all cards with ice in order to unlock cards that are padlocked. This is one of the best solitaire games I have played in a while and the whole family can enjoy this whimsical game, enjoy!

It's hard to believe a year has gone by, but here we are, and you get a holiday treat jigsaw style! You get a beautiful assortment of jigsaw puzzles in this edition, with five different categories: Decorations/Winter/Family/Food/Presents, each box contains 100 different puzzles with a variety of pre-determined pieces. If you don't like the amount of pieces in that puzzle, you can always modify (any) the puzzle with the amount of pieces you do want, as well as the puzzle cut and whether you want the pieces to rotate or not! Each puzzle has helpful tools such as displaying the image up to 3 times the size, ghosting the image on the background, a magnifying glass, an even a hint button. You can automatically sort the pieces, choose border only (pieces will automatically show up when border is complete) and there is a box to keep extra pieces in until you have more room. There are trophies to earn for top scores and you can choose the color of background, Blue, Pink, Green or Gray, enjoy!

Dire Grove is very dire indeed, this grove has been plagued with wild animals who have been attacking the townsfolk completely unprovoked, and to make matters worse, the temperatures have plummeted to minus 30 degrees, turning the entire grove into a frozen tundra and forcing the town to evacuate their homes. Only a few hunters have remained in town determined to hunt down those responsible for the phenomenon, the Druid Mistwalkers! They've already captured one, could he be responsible for the town's curse?
There are lot's new features in this game, starting with the option of choosing which gender of Master Detective you want to portrait, male or female! There isn't a custom difficulty mode which surprises me, but there are several modes to choose from including the most insane difficulty which gives you no hints, no skips, and no direction at all, to make it even more challenging you must complete the game with time limits! Although we have seen this feature before, it's still a cool feature that allows you to ask a slew of important questions whenever you speak with one of the characters. Several questions will pop up within a dialog window allowing you to ask specific questions in whatever order you choose. As a detective, you must find several items of evidence, once you have found all pieces of evidence pertaining to different subjects, you will put all the pieces together and deduce the evidence which is basically a narration tying the evidence collected so far, together. Some of the inventory items have plus signs indicating that you must interact with that item, such as combining that item with another inventory item, before you can use it, such as replacing batteries in a flashlight.
The Hidden Object Scenes are creative, with extremely interactive list finds, requiring several interactions with several of the items as well as quick little mini games within the scenes. There are also HO's requiring you to find 12 icicles, 12 birds and 12 lights, and even this HO is interactive. Then there's the mini games, ooohhh those mind bending interactive puzzles mad famous in Fates Carnival. You know the ones, figuring out how to solve a seemingly impossible (seemingly yet possible) and lengthy interactive puzzle by flipping switches, clicking on buttons, bells and whistles in a specific order in hopes that you did it correctly and don't have to hit the reset button. Aaaarrrr, but I love it! Don't worry, there are the normal mini games as well, such as plugging wires into two different shapes so that the combined shapes match the example shown!
The Collectors Edition has Wallpapers, Concept Art, Achievements, Music, Puzzle Piece Collections, Videos, Dire Grove Collectibles, a built in Strategy Guide and an Alternate Ending, making this edition a must have for all us Mystery Case Files fans, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Where do I start? Voiceovers....I'm pretty sure the same person is disguising her voice as ALL characters, and it's not even close to a Japanese accent. The graphics...I'm pretty sure the person who did the voiceovers was probably responsible for the graphics as well. The storyline....what a horrible man, and a kidnapper....yep I'm pretty sure the person who did the voiceovers and the graphics, thought this was a great story. Now let me give credit when credit is due....I liked the 34 collectible origami's, and I liked the plus item feature of interacting with the inventory items. I also liked the feature of mom's magical necklace...although it was difficult to figure out what I was supposed to do, then I realized that the widescreen option had chopped off the part of my screen where I needed to use the necklace! I also liked the available achievements.....the end.
I don't recommend this game.

This is one hotel you may not want to stay at if you are guilty of just about anything! This owner has taken it upon himself to enact justice upon the guilty, the punishment, DEATH! James has written you a letter that claims he's already dead, this just can't be true, (because dead people can't write letters) so the Holy Mountain Hotel is our next destination! No need to pack a suitcase, you won't be enjoying your stay with all those ghosts roaming around! (although I would recommend a flashlight, it's really scary folks!)
The graphics....creepy and unnerving, the music will send chills down your spine, I'll never sing that lullaby to a baby. This game is fantastic, everything is perfect, I couldn't ask for more (that rolling ball freaked me out!) There are 32 glowing green antiques to collect, and of course the usual character figurines have returned giving us a bit of insight on the dearly guilty departed. There are also several achievements to earn and almost every inventory item requires some type of interaction before using it.
The Hidden Object Scenes are the typical interactive list finds, but there are a few silhouetted shape finds as well just to break up the monotony. Mini games are in abundance, and I loved em all! Just to name a few, one game required you to swap metal plates to match the grooves on the plate in the middle, the plates could only be swapped in specific positions, just to make it more challenging. Another game required you to place color coded wires into two different sockets with symbols that would form the correct numbered code shown when combined. Even the plus sign inventory items had fun puzzles!
This Collectors Edition has replayable mini games, Wallpapers, Concept Art, Music, Achievements, Character Figurines, Esrael's Antique room, Screensavers, a built in Strategy Guide, and an ALTERNATE ENDING!!! < that my friends is way cool, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The only exciting feature this game has to offer is being able to activate your webcam to accommodate for body movement, panning left and right. To be perfectly honest, I didn't bother to activate this feature, and it was a justified decision. The story begins long ago when the Sultan received a seal that will make your wishes come true, eventually. The Grand Vizionaire was supposed to guard the seal but it was stolen and never recovered, leading most people to believe that the Grand Vizionaire was responsible and that his family is still in possession of the seal today. Fast forward to today and you are sent to this family mansion to repair the grand clock during a restoration to turn the mansion into a hotel.
I really don't mind games that have nothing but HO's and puzzles, but I hate HO's that make you search for teeny tiny items, or partially hidden items in an entire room. Some of the items are behind cabinet doors that you aren't even aware opened. The mini games aren't difficult, which is a good thing because there aren't any instructions given other than a very brief description that shows up only once when you first click on on the gears.
The graphics are gold and glittery, and there's absolutely nothing in this game to motivate you to progress. Sorry, it's a definite no for me.
I don't recommend this game.
