What beautiful hand drawn artistry this newest edition of Haunted Legends has to offer! One thing I love about this series is the abundance of areas of interest, every scene has several inventory items to find, trinkets and intricate locks that are missing pieces, you just can't become bored. Because you are a Mage, you have a Magic Staff and the Orb attached needs energy from magical threads, which is in the form of a Mini game of course! There are several Achievements to earn and Collectible Pigeons to find and visit at the Pigeonry.
The Hidden Object Scenes usually require you to find several items such as fleur de lis, which then opens up the list items to find. I actually enjoyed the HOP that required you to select flowers and foliage that reveals a fragment, and you had to choose two identical fragments hidden underneath. The only complaint I have is that the scenes are repeated. The Mini Games are available in Casual or Hard, my favorite one was guiding birds to the correct spot, however they could only fly in the path they were facing, so you have to use other birds to nudge them into the correct flight path.
This Collectors Edition has re-playable HOP's and Mini Games, Photos, Movies, Music, Concept Art, Wallpapers, Screensavers, Collectible Pigeons, Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

I love Tower Defense games, and Iron Heart does not disappoint! I prefer TD games that take place on the water, but this is a decent game with robotic themed warfare. The rules of engagement are fairly simple, place weapons such as machine guns upon the available Towers, and keep the enemy from reaching the Steam Locomotive and enslaving humanity. Each weapon can be upgraded for a broader range, and more damage, once you have earned enough funds from destroying the enemy. After each battle which consists of 5 or 6 waves, you can visit the shop to purchase upgrades that will make each individual weapon more powerful, or have a broader range, you can also select common bonuses that make the weapons cheaper, reap more money from the enemy or even give you a larger starting fund which will allow you to purchase more weapons sooner. You will earn more money if you start the waves of attack sooner that the countdown, and each level gives you a new type of defense weapon, and of course a faster, stronger enemy to go along with it. If you are looking for an action packed game that requires strategy, is fast paced not to mention very addicting, look no further, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Not a bad storyline, but the tasks are tedious, and repetitive, to make matters worse, the items are so tiny they aren't recognizable. Your airplane crashed on Thunder Island where your father was heading an expedition. You scour the island searching for missing puzzle pieces, cogs, gems, tools and other items that will help you progress. Items buried require you to dig them up with a shovel, or use the machete to whack down jungle weeds, a slingshot to knock down items to high to reach, but after several times this task becomes annoying. The Hidden Object Scenes are list finds, some are multiple finds and there is one item that requires an interaction of putting all parts together by clicking and dragging parts to the main item until complete. Again most of the items are teeny tiny and you have no idea what the item is, other items are only partially shown on the edges of the screen. There are Mini Games that are pretty simple such as putting tiles together to complete an image, or figuring out patterns through trial and error. There are 80 gold coins scattered about the island that will unlock a reward but it doesn't say what the reward actually is. So far this is the best of the Escape series, enjoy!

You are onboard a cruiseship enjoying sun and fun when the unthinkable happens, the ship hits a reef and begins to sink! While you are able to keep a calm head and assess the situation, you eventually make it to an island inhabited by natives who they invite you to dinner as the main course, and you must escape.
This is a seek and find game where you must read the dialog to find out your next task, such as building shelter. You click on the main item which will show you several items in circles around the main item which you will have to find and drag to the main circle. This will be repeated several times in each scene with different goals, until all items are found and then you complete a Mini Game. You may have to click on flying macaws to chase them away or rebuild several circuits as you rotate several tokens until a complete connection is made from top to bottom and all lights are on.

I loved the first Moai: Build Your Dream, and Path To Another World is even better! Bright Light has been kidnapped by Miru the Master of The World of The Dead. You must travel to Awaika the Domain of the dead, to pursue your beloved across three different realms!
Each Time Management level has different goals to achieve such as building stone quarries, food mills, and Tree Groves, and you must collect the productions quickly to allow them to get back to production. There are repairs needed bridges that need fixed, holes to fill in, stones and trees to remove, trees to cut down, locals and thieves to bargain with and Chests to open. The Chests will contain extra resources, as well as bonuses and artifacts to collect. All of this needs to be done within a specific time before the meter runs out, but you can replay any level. Each level has an Alternate level available with different goals, which will give you more points if you can beat the clock.
My favorite feature was within the Backpack Icon on the map. The Artifacts you collect will be stored in the backpack, there are 24 Artifacts available throughout the game. You can choose 5 of the bonuses to "put on" your character such as the Forest Talisman which will increase the amount of wood you acquire when cutting palm trees! There are 49 Achievements to earn for accomplishments such as fishing in ponds 25 or 50 times. This is a fast paced game, but definitely a fun and addicting game, enjoy!

Avalon Legends has topped itself with this second edition of Higher/Lower Solitaire. The graphics are beautiful, the music is lighthearted and pleasant, there are 6 different card designs to choose and 3 face card styles available. You can choose Normal or Hard Modes of difficulty and there are 21 Achievements to earn as well! When you play the Solitaire game itself you will earn resources such as Gold, Food, and Building supplies that will allow you to build the city, houses, bridges, gardens and even quarries which will produce even more resources. You can purchase a ton of Bonuses in the shop to give you extra undo's, wild cards, and even the privilege to see the next deck card, how man cards remaine or even a guaranteed playable first card on every level!
The object of this game is to place cards from the board onto the deck card either one higher or one lower to earn a 3 star perfect score. Some cards have resources under them and some cards are blocked with vines icy etc. Combos start at chains of 6 cards, which gives you a larger multiplier and more points scored.
This is a fantastic Solitaire game with an excellent story to go along with it, very entertaining. From the looks of the demo, this game has a ton of levels so it should be well worth it's weight in gold, enjoy!

For the past seven years, you have had recurring nightmares that you are onboard a ship that gets hit by a tidal wave when a meteor strikes the sea. Friends and family convenience you to face your fears head on, so you buy a discounted ticket (first mistake) on the Atlantic Cruise Line and set sail. Low and behold, a tidal wave does indeed cause the ship to capsize and you must figure out a way to escape the upside down ship before it sinks and you nightmare becomes reality, you drown!
The graphics are pretty basic, but keep in mind this is an older game. There are 13 Lifebuoys scattered throughout the ship, and someone has left you notes warning you to escape as fast as you can. The notes are actually Hidden Object Lists that require you to find the items you will need to survive this ordeal.
I love the storyline, and the HOS are decent but super easy to find because of the basic graphics. Each scene has plenty of tasks to complete so it doesn't become boring, but on the other hand seasoned HO gamers will find this game way too easy.

I had a hard time getting through the one hour demo on this game. At first I didn't mind the main character's narration of the story, but it just kept going on and on, followed by a Hidden Object Scene, and then more of the story being told, the other characters backgrounds, the way they acted what the were doing or even what she thought they were thinking, it was just too much information.
The Hidden Object Scenes were different each time, Find 12 Roses in the garden, pick up an item that matched the list description and place it within the same scene where it belongs, Find items that match a green dress, or finding several scraps of paper. I just found the tasks mundane, help Minha pack, help her shop, etc.

Cadenza has raised the bar, once again! Phenomenal graphics, lifelike characters, and stunning soundtracks are the norm for this series. We revisit the Jazz Pepper Club, to enjoy beautiful jazz music featuring a special guest. Anthony's marriage proposal is quite romantic, but Ella will soon learn that he's no match for the "Black Widow" a seductive woman whose lips are responsible for the Kiss of Death. With pucker power like her's, no man is safe!
Some of the inventory items have Plus Sign's, that require some type of interaction, such as combining two items together, before that item can be used. The Collectors Edition has Hidden Golden Tickets in each scene, which are very well blended and added some entertainment factor to the game.
The Hidden Object Puzzles are crammed full of entertainment as well. Most of the HO's are listed items that you are simply moving aside to collect the fragments hidden behind that item, and the collected fragments will open something for the final item. My favorite HOP type requires you to find an item listed in a circle at the bottom right, which also exposes a musical note that gets added to the icon. The next item has to be placed into the scene, and then another listed item and so forth until all notes have been collected. Some of the Mini Games were unique, when you are speaking to the detective, he hands you a paper with several items that you flip over two at a time to make matches. Then you make matches of related items, and finally put those items into the correct timeline of what occurred first. I liked the puzzle where you had to replicate the musical notes shown as an example, but the musical staff (bars) were twisted so you had to follow the bars figure out where each note actually went.
The Collectors Edition has Achievements, Concept Art, Wallpapers, Morphing Objects in the HOS, Videos, Soundtracks, re-playable HO's, Collectible Golden Tickets, Case Files, Match 3 games, Treasure Hunt, Ticket Hunt, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

The Jangada was a historical marvel the 19th century. In 1979 the Garral family set sail on the Amazon River to seek the adventure of a lifetime, but never returned. A rich media tycoon named Jonathan Brown has hired Melissa Alan to investigate what appears to be the Jangada, that appeared as quickly as it disappeared all those years ago!
The storyline really piqued my interest, who doesn't like Ghost ships right? The problem is, each scene contains one area of interest, either an occasional inventory item to pick up or use, a Mini Game or a Hidden Object scene. There is no Hint system other than in the HOS, so if you can't figure something out you're out of luck. The graphics are dark and creepy, but very basic. To access the inventory bar, you have to click on it every time to pull it up.
The Hidden Object Scenes are actually well done, the listed items can be quite difficult to find at times because the many of the items are blended either with the scenery or within another item that resembles the shape and size. Most of the HOS are repeated, so you will have to check the scenes to see if another HOS is available there. The Mini Games are decent, I liked the Phone Number Puzzle where you were given a few numbers as clues but had to guess at the rest of the numbers which would cause the indicator light to turn green when correct.
