You'll never forget that stormy night, aboard the Everlast Timeless Cruise, when you and your brother escaped the sinking ship on a lifeboat! The two of you watched helplessly as the ship vanished into thin air, with your parents still onboard, the storm clouds seemingly swallowing up the entire cruiseliner. That was 20 years ago, and that strange storm has returned, along with it the Everlast Cruise Ship! Have your parents returned as well? One thing's for sure, someone, or something, doesn't want you to find out!
The only feature I didn't like in this fourth installment of Rite of Passage was with the Compass that dad gave you to guide you toward the shore. It is used to dispel energy that surrounds random objects whenever the compass begins to shake wildly. I thought it was unnecessary with no entertainment value, if it doesn't add value to the game, why have it? Some of the inventory items have plus signs which indicate that some type of interaction is required before you can use the item, usually combining that item with another inventory item.
The first Hidden Object Scene was unique, you had to find matching cards and then place those cards correctly with the cards a statue was holding in her hands. There are also interactive list finds where the items from the list move aside to expose a fragment that will eventually complete a mosaic fish picture. The Collector's Edition has a Morphing Objects within the HOP and an icon to show if the Morph has been found. There are actually a lot of Mini Games, swapping and rotating puzzle pieces, matching two exact symbols or placing wooden animals in their respective habitats. My favorite however, was a variation of "Blocks" where you had to rotate mirrors to capture a beam of light and direct it through the house until it reached a character sleeping to wake him up, BUT you also had to move furniture that blocked the light beam in a blocks type scenario.
The Collector's Edition has Achievements, Morphing Objects, 37 Collectible Seashells, Wallpapers, Soundtracks, a Gallery, Collectible Hunt, Everlasting Voyage Bonus Game, replayable HO's (with trophies to earn when you beat a specific time) and a built in Strategy Guide, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Once a year the small town of Hamelin celebrates the Pied Piper Festival in honor of the hero who played his pipe and lured the rats from the streets into the river! This year someone must have made him mad, the pied piper has returned with a vengeance, bringing with him millions of plague infested rats! The Pied Piper is now known as the Dark Piper, and it's up to you inspector, to figure out how to stop this madman and rid the town of rats, once again!
This game is very similar to the Dark Parables series, same design, same music and most of all the same unique nonlinear Morphs that I adore. Morphing Fable Objects may not morph the first time you see them, it usually requires an action within another scene to trigger the morph, so you will have to revisit areas several time in search of the morph, which makes it so much more challenging!
Unlike DP games, the Hidden Object Scenes are interactive list finds, with just the right amount of difficulty. SPOILER ALERT: there are several interactive items in each scene, but not all of them are necessary, just to throw you off track. The Mini Games vary in difficulty from easy puzzles such as selecting specific objects in a stage play to allow the wooden horse to return to the stable. The hardest game in my opinion was selecting flower bulbs correctly so that all connected paths would light up.
This Collector's Edition has 20 Morphing Fable Objects, 8 replayable Puzzles, 20 Movie Videos, 6 Wallpapers, 6 Music Soundtracks, 18 Concept Art Pictures, a built in Strategy Guide, and a Bonus Chapter The Midas Lair. This is a fantastic game and it is surprising to me that more games haven't been produced in this series, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Sonya received an urgent letter from John McGraw urging her to come to his estate and to bring her daughter Lisa. Once there, John asks Sonya a simple favor, look into the mirror and all will be revealed. Curiosity got the best of her, after all it's just a reflection, and the adventure begins!
The weirdest part was when a leprechaun named Boggart Browne(?) who spoke in a language that sounded like pig latin mixed with a synthesizer, yet somehow, Sonya knew what he was saying. There are only two modes of difficulty, either everything or nothing at all, and you have a journal which jots down everything that happens (with several typos including referring to John McGraw as Earl) There aren't any bells or whistles, but I'm okay with that, because there are plenty of active areas to keep you busy in each scene.
The Hidden Object Scenes are fantastic! They aren't easy, not impossible, but challenging, the HOP's of late seem so easy that they seem to be worthless wastes of time. The first HOP requires you to find 12 related items such as a horse and a horseshoe, but there are also interactive list finds.
There are a lot of Mini Games, most are puzzles that you turn rings to complete an image, or rotate three discs as you exchange sections of different colors between them. There are recipes to mix up as well by following the diagrams step by step, or clicking on several levers in the correct order to open up a grate. None of the puzzles are difficult, although none are new puzzles, they are entertaining, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Looking for a H.I.D.D.E.N O.B.J.E.C.T. game that gives you the C.R.E.E.P.S? Look no further because this game has mastered the heart pounding, unnerving gotta escape the asylum before it's too late genre. When you have an extraordinary paranormal gift, it may very well be just that, a gift, B.U.T. it could just as easily be a curse! Because of your "gift" you have been experimented on, tortured, even used for criminal purposes, and now, you have been marked for extermination! If you're going to escape this filthy prison, you'll have to use your "gift" to escape the condemned asylum. Problem is, your conscience won't allow you to leave knowing there are other tortured patients who are scheduled for extermination, behind, hopefully it's not too late for them!
This may be an older game, but it doesn't matter, because the graphics are meant to be grainy, gritty, and plain old creepy, and I liked it! The Hidden Object Scenes are simple list items with no interactions, but all of the HOP's have items you would expect to see in an abandoned hospital, old, dirty and unkempt. The Mini Games are also in tune with the game, my favorite game was quite challenging, having to find the one x-ray that was different from the others. At first the x-rays are obvious, by the third set it isn't so obvious.
The Collector's Edition of this game, is the only one I know of that let's you play a "slice" of the Bonus Chapter, which is really cool in my opinion. The Collector's Edition also has Wallpapers, Concept Art, Music, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, either version is a must have game for fans of this genre, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is one of the funnest Match 3 games I have ever played! Gummies are replacing famous Australian sites, they must be gathered or the world will never stop bouncing! This is a Free To Play Match 3 game, but when you run out of lives or resources, you will either have to be patient and wait for new lives or purchase the needed lives or resources in the Shop. If you do run out of lives, you will be given the option to pay for more lives, or test your luck with the Spinner for a chance to earn 5 extra spins, or lose a life.
Before the start of each level you will be given the goals such as scoring a specific amount of points, clearing all white cells or collect a specific number of building materials (bricks) Each level has three difficulty modes, and you can replay previous levels if you need more resources. As you progress, you will unlock other sites and even other countries, and side goals will be given as well such as collecting 10 workers which will reward you with free resources every hour. After completing a level, you simply claim your reward, and when you have enough money and enough building materials, you can construct Ports and even museums, each construction has a purpose, usually it allows you to travel to other countries.
Matches of 4 gummies will earn a Line Boost, Match 5 creates and sets off a Bomb, and if you Match 5 gummies in a line either horizontally or vertically, you will receive a Lightning Boost that will destroy all gummies of the same kind that you choose. Occasionally, an airplane will drop off a box with a Boost, you must however choose which Boost you want to use before starting the level, but there are also tools to earn that can be used anytime and are available within the level such as a Shovel to clear a single cell.
This is a very exciting and addicting Match 3 game that keeps surprising you with creative power ups, and clever rewards. If you play this game conservatively, it's worth hours of fun for free, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I love games that make me think about my every move strategically. This is a very simple game, but not an easy game, requiring you to place the "drops" into the same colored jar. When you move one drop, all other drops move in the same direction, therefore, you have to take advantage of blocked cells or cells that are crossed off, when moving the drops. There are cells that have "blobs" that will eat the drops, if a blob lands on a cell that contains a blob, you will lose automatically and have to start over. You must get the drops to the correct jars in the fewest moves possible to earn three stars, and you can replay the level as often as you want to try for a better score. Drop Hunt is definitely a brain teaser, enjoy!

The Liberty Stone has been stolen and the evidence has been planted to appear that you (a.k.a Natalie Evans) are the guilty party! The Liberty Stone has been the center of controversy for quite some time now, as a journalist, you have been assigned to cover the beauty pageant whose winner get's the honor of being crowned with this beautiful gem! Two prominent and wealthy family's claim to be the true owner of the stone, Carlos Sterling, and Tyrell Walker. Your investigation uncovers incriminating evidence on just about everyone, how can you uncover the evidence when you are the prime suspect?
This game is totally off the record awesome. There are plus signs on many of the inventory items and many of those items have a quick mini game that needs completed before you can use it such as turning dials to the correct image from clues that you come across during your investigation. Once again, you will find several audio cassettes throughout the game to play in your cassette recorder, there is an icon to the left of the inventory bar for quick access to the recorder. There is also an icon for the Achievements you have earned and an icon that shows how many of the 43 hidden Seahorses you have found, and an icon for the current Objectives as well. When you are talking to some of the characters, you get to choose responses in three different categories, Sharp, Straight or Bluff. If you choose the wrong response category however, the character tells you it's not believable and the response is far fetched so there's no wrong response really. There are also 12 Collectible alphabet letters.
The Hidden Object Scenes are really entertaining, 12 of them contain a Morphing item. Some of the HOS are just regular list finds, my favorite was a progressive silhouette game where you find fruit to mix, and play a minigame where you cut the fruit when a meter is in the green zone, and then add that mixture to a shaker bottle and shake the shaker as fast as you can. The Mini Games are plentiful, simple games such as tracing a symbol with your mouse, and some more elaborate. My favorite game required you to spin a roulette wheel to receive your numbers, then you had to place exactly four chips on each number whose sum totaled the number shown.
This Collector's Edition has a Souvenir Room, re-playable HOP and Puzzles, Videos and Bonus Videos, Music, Pictures, Collectible Seahorses and Alphabet Letters, Morphing Objects, Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

F.A.C.E.S equals C.R.E.E.P.Y! When you have an extraordinary gift, it can be gift......in this case it's a curse. You have been experimented on, tortured, used, and now, you have been marked for extermination! Providing security to a well known professor should be a piece of cake, and earning $100,000 is just icing on the cake, right? Wrong! Within minutes of signing the contract, a crazed sniper opens fire on Professor Kevin Reynolds, barely missing him as he's delivering his speech! The head of security,Tobias Irving, suggests hiding out at a nearby hotel, the Hotel Eternity, which just might take you an eternity to escape the evil residing within. Someone or something wants this philanthropist to pay for his sins, until now, nobody questioned his methods for developing advanced medicines. What has the good professor done, detective? Can you play along with this mad man's "game of salvation" to save the professor, when one wrong answer could be your last?
This is yet another fantastic Haunted Hotel, with awesome graphics, and enough creepiness to last a lifetime! I favor the Collector's Edition because of the 20 Morphing Objects, 12 Morphing Masks, 19 clever Achievements, and 4 Puzzles to assemble with collected Puzzle Pieces, but this Standard Edition is still over the top with entertainment value. Some of the inventory items have Plus Signs requiring some type of interaction before using, such as a quick puzzle to solve selecting key buttons in a specific order.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied, list finds that reveal fragments under the items found, and even silhouetted shape finds where you must find items that match the silhouetted shapes shown. The Mini Games are fun but a tad bit on the easy side, finding matching pairs of codes, jigsaw type puzzles, arranging dials to point in the correct direction using clues given, or sliding tiles around using a single empty slot to maneuver the tiles.
The Collector's Edition has Wallpapers, Concept Art, Music, Achievements, Collectible Masks, Puzzle Collection, a Secret Room, Morphing Objects, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

I didn't think I would like this game at first glance, the graphics seemed a bit archaic and it's features older, but all that changed when I went on my first mission. There are three different missions, that you must document contraband smuggling, in the mines and forests of Africa as well as the urban jungle back in the states. Because this is a Nat Geo Game, you will learn lots of interesting facts as you play the game. I started out with the Gorilla mission, but there is also a Drug mission and a Diamond mission.
The Hidden Object Scenes are lists finds with no interactions available, some items require multiples of the same item, some are timed, most aren't. Each scene has 3 gems to find for extra points, 3 batters to find to recharge laptop hints, three badges and one handprint. The handprint will give you information about the subject of the mission which will be needed for a quiz later in the game. Finding items quickly or back to back will earn you extra points.
There are so many mini games, and so far all of them are really entertaining. Some are puzzles requiring you to swap tiles and then rotate them to recreate the image shown to the left of the puzzle. My favorite games, were the "spot the difference" puzzles, and some of the differences aren't so easy to spot.
Hopefully, the last two missions are as fun as the Gorilla mission. If you are looking for a HOG that has a bunch of puzzles and mini games, look no further, enjoy!
I recommend this game!
