I love the characters and the different personalities they have. However, the game itself has a lot going on, making it difficult to figure out what you are supposed to do at first, but eventually you get into the groove. The Divine Academy was founded by Zeus, Hades and Poseidon, who visit the academy from time to time with a quest or two for you to accept, as they nurture your young talent at the academy and bump you up the ladder to becoming a full fledged God. Athena is your no nonsense teacher, Hermes will help you with your finances as he helps you choose financially sound investments, Chloris is in charge of nature, and tries to teach you how to respect nature so you and your people can thrive. Athena has graced you with her very wise owl named Socrates who helps you figure out what's what in the game and what you are supposed to do and how you do it.
As characters give you quests (located on the left of the screen) you click to accept and are taken to the area that needs completed to fulfil that task. To make room for building sites, you clear grass, obstructions, and trees and open up chests you find that have hidden bonuses, magic and resources inside. You build houses, cottages, estates, huts, villas and manors for your people that in turn allows you to hire workers. The more houses you have, the more revenue you will earn, because you need to have a well rounded community, you will also need to build Schools, Gardens, Storage areas, Altars and Windmills. Just because you have a well rounded community that meets the needs of food, shelter, resources and education, doesn't mean the citizens are happy. Gifts from the Gods are necessary to keep your people happy, vases, benches, flowers and pillars will go a long way keeping the people happy.
Naturally you can use magic spells to help speed up progress, but this requires Mana. Mana drops fall from the sky to the ground, and you click on them to collect the drops. You can zoom in and out of the scene as well as drag the entire screen around using your mouse, which is helpful finding mana drops and checking on the revenue from buildings as your community begins to expand beyond the borders. Eventually you will have to be patient, because the blue crystals needed to level up, speed up and purchase needed items, are not readily available. Take Hermes financial advice, and get your Strategy game on, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is one of the most beautiful Match 3 games I've ever played. The gems are so crystal clear they literally sparkle. You can choose a Relaxed untimed mode, Time Limited mode, or Limited move mode which requires you to complete the level in a specific amount of moves. As you earn money playing the Match 3 game, you can build nine different castles, one section at a time, and use those completed pictures as wallpapers. As You progress you will unlock 20 different Mahjong Minigames that can be played anytime, which also earns some gold that can be used in the shop to purchase upgrades.
The goal for each level is to make matches on the yellow tiles and allow sections of amulets to drop off the board by making matches under them. Some tiles are blocked with chains, boxes etc. some of which contain bonuses. Random coins will appear on the board that can be collected with a single click before they disappear. Matches of 4 gems will give you a rainbow gem on the board that can be used to match with any color tile. matches of 5 tiles give you a Helix that will take out an entire row or column.
The Shop has several bonuses to purchase, Bombs to destroy a 3x3 area, Fireballs, Lightning, Chroma Frenzy which randomly converts 6 gems into multi colored gems, Chain destroyer to clear all chains, Launchers, Hammers, Mana Bottles to refill powers, Chests to hold more gems, and even extra Lives, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I couldn't agree more with Biscuitmama, I too have been eagerly awaiting for another Claws & Feathers game to be released....oh happy day! When the first C&F was released, I purchased the game after 5 minutes of playing because this game is just like one of my all time favorites, DaVinci's Secret (only with balls not birds) I never grow tired of playing this game, you have to give it a try, it's totally worth it.
The basic goal of this game is to match at least three of the same colored birds to remove them from the board. Sounds easy, and it is, but of course this gets more difficult as you progress. Those cats are devious, and they must be removed from the board by making matches of at least two of the same colored birds (depending on the size and type of cat) next to the cat. The cats are thieves, and they often are hiding color coded keys to the treasure chests you must open, or they hide bombs and fireworks from you to try to deter you from using it against them!
Some levels have directional arrows that will only allow you to drag the birds in one direction, and the mischievous cats often kidnap birds and chain them up which requires you to make the first match to unchain the bird and the second time frees him. If this game still sounds easy, then maybe I forgot to tell you that every time you move a bird but aren't able to make a match, several new birds will hatch from the eggs that are also on the board! Sometimes the eggs are beneficial when you run out of the color of bird you need that are still blocking the keys, chests and artifacts on the board. You can place a bird of any color on top of an egg to get rid of it as well.
You need to read each level's goals because you might find all the keys and open all the chests, but still lose because the goal might be to unchain all chained birds, clear out 85% of the board or free less than 6 blue birds, as well as open all the chests or assemble the artifacts. You can replay the level as often as you want until you meet all of the goals. This game is addictive, so pull up a comfy computer chair, you're going to be playing for a while, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

It is Prince Tristan's 18 birthday and his caretaker Naya, gives him the ruby ring that has been worn by every King of the Minah Kingdom, including his father. When Tristan was just a baby, the Shadows attacked his mother and father, and they haven't been seen since that dreadful day. Naya had no choice but to take Tristan to safety until he was old enough to claim his rightful position on the throne, and that day has come. The entire Kingdom has been consumed by ominous dark crystals, and the Ruby Ring seems to react to this strange anomaly, and even destroys them! (after completing a quick puzzle of course) When they arrive at the castle gates, they are greeted by an arrogant young man, Vincent, who claims to be the King! Only one man can be King, the one who wears the Ruby Ring, but who will the ring choose to be King?
Yep, this is yet another another fairy tale story about a King and Queen whose baby was whisked away by the nanny in just the nick of time, and returns to face an evil ruler. The storyline is nothing new, but I really enjoyed playing this game, the graphics are decent, but does have an abundance of purple hues, the games are entertaining. If you choose the Collector's Edition, there are 60 Collectible Crowns with just the right amount of challenge to find them, and there are 20 different Achievements to earn as well. Both editions have Plus Sign inventory items which require some type of interaction before the item can be used. The only "helper" you have is a Ruby Ring handed down from King to King, each time you use the ring, you get to play a different Mini Game, which destroys the crystal.
There are only a few Hidden Object Scenes available in the demo, and I was disappointed when the same scene was repeated. There are Silhouetted Shape finds where you find multiples of items that match the shapes shown, 3 horses, 3 bottles, 3 books and 3 gloves. There are also Interactive List finds, and a scene where you find items that match the word in yellow print, that a Gypsy fortune teller tells you in a story. Technically, there are some mini HOP's where you find a handful of leaves etc.
There are Mini Games associated with the Ruby Ring, each time you use the Ring, you must first complete a game, which is different each time. The object is to break the crystals, once by making matches of every symbol after getting one sneak peek, the second ring game requires you to find the correct path by choosing the symbols in the correct order as shown, and the third ring game requires you use directional arrows to smash all crystals using the crystals as bumpers. The normal Mini Games are just as entertaining, my favorite game was a Honeycomb grid that requires you to fill in all the cells by moving the bee token in the available direction without overlapping. Some of the puzzles are really simple such as repeating the color coded music notes on a pan flute, or turning 4 tree ring sections to allow energy to flow from the center ring, to all four sections of the outer ring.
Both editions are quality games, if you like Fairy Tale magical games. The Collector's Edition has 4 available Wallpapers, 25 Concept Art pictures, 18 replayable Mini Games, 6 replayable Hidden Object Puzzles, 11 Music Tracks, 20 Achievements to earn, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The discovery of energy producing crystals could benefit the citizens of Coldstone beyond imagination, but where there's power, there's always going to be corruption. The consequences of this political corruption is deadly, in fact, the who's who of Coldstone are being targeted by a man only known as "The Avenger" a masked vigilante who will stop at nothing to avenge his loved one's. The Mayor of this small town, Isaac Merel, has asked for your discretion while investigating the disappearance of his own wife Lisbeth. The Mayor has little information to offer, other than a blacklist he found with several names of the town's officials, including Lisbeth and himself! You soon find out it isn't a blacklist, it's a hit list, and no matter how hard you try, the Avenger is succeeding, one by one. What have these people done to deserve the Avengers wrath?
I Beta tested this game a while back, and in my opinion, it's a good game, not a great game, but I seem to be one of the few reviewers who feel this way. The graphics are hand drawn and beautifully detailed , which is impressive when you think about all the talent involved. I prefer computer generated graphics with sharp lines, crisp resolutions and vivid colors that pop. Some reviewers have negatively commented on the subject matter of explicit scenes involving assassinations, and that's okay, personally it doesn't bother me, I didn't think any of the scenes depicted any more violence than other games with this type of storyline. With the hand drawn graphics and overabundance of pastel colors, it isn't even realistic.
You will eventually come across a device that can read the memories of an area, things that have happened recently, with the help of the energy crystals and a quick Mini Game where you catch the memory fragments. You will also collect random coins that you find throughout the game, which comes in handy at the local street vendor. Some of the inventory items are complex items that require some type of interaction before using it such as combining that item with another inventory item. The Collector's Edition has 24 Achievements to earn and several Collectible Masks of different origins, which gives a brief description about each mask collected in the Collectibles icon. I think this edition gives you more bang for your buck.
The Hidden Object Scenes were just okay, and I was really disappointed in the fact that the HO scenes are repeated in the same exact area. At least the second time around, the type of HOS is different, sometimes they are interactive list finds, sometimes you have to place items from the inventory bar into the scene, and there are also multiple finds such as finding 12 bats. The Mini Games are way too easy for my taste, I was able to complete each puzzle usually within less than a minute and on the first try. Swap figurines from left to right and right to left, sliding tiles along several paths until each color coded section forms a complete motif, Rotating tiles so that the 4 doves are all in the center of the board, nothing new and all are very quick and doable games.
For Comparison, the Collector's Edition has 16 Collectible Masks, 24 Achievements, Movies, Music, Wallpapers, Screensavers, Concept Art, replayable Mini Games and Hidden Object Games, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The Order of the Barons have received a garbled message from Volarden, a neighboring city, pleading for the Order's help. The Order of the Barons are no stranger to oppression, the barons were captured by the Master of Shadows, and the entire city of Havenwick was sealed inside an impenetrable dome for nearly 20 years! The Shadows have struck again, using the Volarden's own defense shields against them, pitting good brother against evil brother! You must stop the Vulture, Master of Shadows before Volarden is consumed by the darkest of magic, forever!
The power of good magic is on your side, with the help of a powerful amulet, you'll be able to conquer just about any problem you come across. The Amulet gets stronger with each spell cast, Restora repairs broken objects, Combusta creates a small flame, Germina makes plants grow and Electra charges objects with electricity! Once you arrive in Volarden, you will find the Scroll of Secrets, which reveals 30 hidden rune symbols within each scene, and also tells you a little tidbit of information about the city. The city also has a portal that when activated, allows you to walk between the real world and a parallel universe which is basically the same place, only darker. You will have to travel back and forth, using items from one parallel in the other.
The Hidden Object Scenes have several types available, with a unique feature that requires you to use some of the inventory items you have collected within the scene by switching between the inventory tab and the object tab. There are FROG's which is several fragmented object pieces to find, and interactive list finds as well. Some of the scenes are repeated in the same exact area which is my only complaint, it's way too easy and boring a second time around, even when it's a different type of HOP.
I must admit that I fell in love with the mini games, and they are in abundance. Whenever you find a new symbol that allows you to repair your broken amulet (yes, they always break after the first use) you play a mini game. The same game is repeated each time, but get more complicated as you progress. There are several red masks that must be turned yellow using 2 or three copper symbols with specific directional arrows, to cover all of the masks in each direction. Other puzzles requires you to use magnets to either repel or attract gems into their correct slots, another requires you to drag red stars with lines connecting each red star across every blue star to light them all up. One of my favorite puzzles was putting all blue takens on the left and all red tokens on the right, using arms on each row and column to nudge each token one space at a time. All of the puzzles are doable, some of them are just more time consuming then others,
This Collector's Edition has 5 Soundtracks and Videos, 12 Concept Art pictures, 6 Wallpapers in the Art Gallery, 30 Hidden Runes, 20 Mini Games, 17 Hidden Object Puzzles, 20 Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The DeLupe family has protected their city for ages, burdened with a curse that gives them the strength no mortal man possesses! Someone is trying to kill Count DeLupe, if they succeed before his son Pierre comes of age, the entire town will be in danger, his family will be in grave danger as well! By the time you arrive, Count DeLupe has gone missing, and the entire town is surrounded by creatures neither man nor beast, and Pierre is fighting a losing battle single handedly. To complicate matters even more, a doctor working for the Count has finally found the cure to the curse! Will Pierre walk in his father's footsteps, or will the family curse end, right here, right now?
You have some pretty cool abilities yourself detective, pressing on that sweet tattoo you have will activate your super human powers too. Freeing restless spirits will unlock the mysteries of your ancestors, with a quick mini game requiring you to find 5 clues as to why and how that person passed away, using a magnifying glass. Once that spirit "moves on" you can assemble a small jigsaw puzzle out of torn picture fragments, that will reveal bits and pieces of the mystery. There are Complex Inventory items shown with a red background that turns green when another inventory item has been found that can be combined with it. You will collect 11 mythical Monsters throughout the game, such as the Loch Ness Monster and Sasquatch himself, and there are 11 Achievements to earn.
The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly Silhouette Shape finds, but there are also listed finds and scenes where you replace items into the scene. The Mini Games range from super simple to super fun, turning three rings on a disc to complete a picture, or tracing a symbol using your mouse, making sure you don't wander over the sides to much. I actually enjoyed the Mini Game where you had to adjust the speed in which four tokens spun so that the ball located in the first token would be exchanged to the second token, third and fourth, so all four tokens had to be timed perfectly, or the ball would drop and you have to start all over.
This Collector's Edition has 4 Music Soundtracks, 7 Wallpapers, 9 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Screensavers, 12 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 replayable Mini Games, 11 Achievements, 11 Collectible Monsters, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Were you aware that house Brownies have an entire city inside your humble abode? Me neither, but it explains where all those missing items disappear to. I must admit that I really dug the story here, the Smith family arrives at grandma's house but grandma isn't home. This is very unusual because grandma has been looking forward to seeing her grandkids, but she had tea brewing so the family sits down to enjoy grandma's tea until she comes home. Mom begins to feel dizzy after sipping the tea and poof, she's laying in a beautiful meadow! This is no ordinary meadow, this is the magical land of the house Brownies, and it's located smack dab in the middle of grandma's living room! (that's really special tea granny) This Time Management game is the story of how the Smith family find grandma, and find a way back to the real world.
Brownies can be played in a timed or relaxed mode, and in the timed mode you can achieve expert time status if all tasks are completed before the the meter reaches the first notch. There are 28 different Achievements to earn, and this game has a feature that reduces the time it takes for a worker to complete his task if you keep clicking on the worker task. As with most TM games, you must clear logs and boulders from roadways, repair bridges and construct Bakeries, Sawmills and even Gold Mines to keep a constant supply of needed resources such as food and materials.
There are keys to collect that will open gates, and armory buildings that house Knights. The Knights are summoned to fight the Trolls that block your paths, and Wizards that will use sorcery to chase away storm clouds with destructive lightning. Each level has Runes to find that give you a bonus of some sort, such as Faster workers, or an extra helping hand from Rusty the Brownie. Once you find the Rune, you will need to collect Beads to activate the bonus of your choice. The Beads pop up several times, in random locations and you need to click on them as soon as possible before they disappear.
This Time Management has a fantastic storyline, and some unusual features like the beads that fade in and out. I just wish the items to collect were just a wee bit bigger and easier to see, after all, I'm playing this game from the real world not Brownie land, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I have never been so bored playing a game, not that I was expecting heart pumping action in a Mahjong game, but wow, this game moves at a snails pace! There are two modes of difficulty, Story and Relaxed mode with no time restraints. The goal with each and every level is to simply remove all mahjong tiles, that's it, no variances whatsoever, no different style tiles to choose, no bonus tiles to earn, no challenge, nada, zip, zilch. The story is shown at the beginning of the game in the form of a dialog free cartoon strip about an Asian woman who accidentally leaves the cage door open after feeding her bunny, and he escapes. I don't know if more of this exciting whodunit story is revealed as you progress, I hope so because I'm on the edge of my seat, I simply have to know....did the rabbit get to eat his dinner? There is no tutorial other than telling you to remove matching tiles that are available on the board. You are allowed one undo per level, and there is an icon that has two arrows facing opposite directions, because there was no tutorial to explain this feature, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it reshuffles the tiles on the board, but it could just as easily have something to do with the starving rabbit. This game is just about as plain jane as it gets, unless you've played all the other mahjong games available and must have this game to add to your collection, I recommend passing this one up.
I don't recommend this game.

Farm Frenzy is one of the most entertaining Time Management games available. Big Fish has done an excellent job transforming this popular series into a Free To Play game. The tutorial is excellent, and takes you step by step through the game, explaining how to play as well as how to navigate through all of the features, starting with your very first chicken!
This Time Management game gives you specific goals, requiring you to purchase farm animals such as chickens, pigs and cows. All animals need food, so you click on the ground to plant grass in several areas so the animals can graze, in return the animals will give you a product. The main feature in this game however is the chicken. The chicken lay eggs for you to collect, clicking on the egg will send it to the warehouse, and according to the goal requirements, you can either load the delivery truck to sell them at the market, or send the egg to the Powder Plant to make powdered eggs. The powdered egg packages can be sold or sent to the Pasta Plant to make pasta and then the Lasagna Plant to make lasagna. Ferrets and even Bears will show up occasionally, and you need to quickly click on them several times to build a cage around them before they steal you resources. The good news is that you can sell these pesky critters by sending them to the truck.
You will earn a Gold Star when you complete the level within the time limit (if you fail to meet the requirements in time, you can replay the level but it will cost you one life) You can also go back and replay other levels if you need more coins or gems. Most levels can be replayed three times, each time you replay a level, the goals are slightly different. It took me a while to figure out why there were slots for 3 stars, but I kept earning only one, so don't forget to return to the previous levels to earn all available stars.
You can purchase upgrades to increase production of the plants product, as well as upgrades on a larger warehouse, and a larger truck or helicopter, with keys and gems you earn throughout the game. You can earn 21 different Awards which gives you gems that can be used to purchase bonuses, but you have to click on the awards icon and accept the award first. As you progress, the boosters and upgrades will require more gems, and those gems are scarce, which means that eventually you will have to either be patient and wait to earn them, or "pay" real money to purchase them from the in game store. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!
