I'm usually a fan of the Surface games, but this has the same ole same ole story, and monotonous tasks to do over and over. It's just not entertaining. Jill receives a frantic call from her parents telling her that her childhood town of Lightfall is in terrible danger. Yep, you guessed it, by the time she arrives, the town is void of people, why? Because there's something in the water, nope not something cool and creepy, it's another Kingdom, with King's and princesses ooohhh!!
The only saving grace this Surface has is with the 12 morphing animals to find and the Collectible flowers that are a staple within the Surface games. There are the usual Plus Sign inventory items and Achievements to earn as well.
The Hidden Object Scenes are just okay, beginning with a Silhouetted Shape find puzzle, and ending with an interactive scene finding misplaced items and returning them to their correct placement.
The Mini Games are fairly abundant, again, nothing to knock your socks off. The following are brief descriptions of some of the Mini Games you will encounter:
1) A two stage puzzle, restore the image using the example shown, using stencils in the correct order, and then arranging three figurines to match their shadows.
2) Restore the image on the cover of a box using rotational buttons.
3) Activate all buttons without crossing lines, each button has specific number of moves.
This Collector's Edition has 10 Concept Art pictures, replayable Mini Games and Hidden Object Puzzles, 20 Achievements, 10 Wallpapers, 5 Music Soundtracks, 1 Screensaver (wow two would be over the top) Collectible Flowers, 12 Morphing Animals, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter.

Madame Fate definitely played her hand with this twisted plot! Turns out, I've been deemed insane, sent to the Manchester Institute, and placed in the same cell that Alister Dalimar once called home! It's a good thing I have a few books here to occupy my time, 1001 Straitjacket knots, Going Nuts 101 and Never lose an argument with yourself, wait, ain't nobody got time for this, I've got a real madman to stop! Alister Dalimar has stood the test of time for ages, and his great granddaughter's Charlotte and Gwendolyn are still by his side to help him accomplish his evil doings. It's time to unlock the secrets hidden behind the doors of the House That Love built, the Key to Alister's soul must be broken!
I knew my favorite Mystery Case Files game would continue, but what a surprise so soon eh? I still have one complaint, well maybe two. I want fantastic Morphs that this series is known for, and the collectible Ravens were so much better than collecting 40 Lighthouses, what's up with that? At least they brought back Alister's Enigma with those progressively difficult puzzles to tinker with, and of course there are a ton of Plus sign inventory items to combine. This Collector's Edition also has 11 different Achievements to earn as well.
The Hidden Object Scenes are really entertaining, ranging from interactive list finds, to progressive silhouetted shapes where you find items that match the silhouetted shapes and then use the items within the scene, solving various puzzles and zoom zone mini HOP's. To put it lightly, they are fantastic.
The Mini Games however, is what stands MCF apart from the crowd, they are clever, fun, multi-layered and yes even complicated at times. The following is a list of brief descriptions of some of the games you will encounter:
1) Rotate 4 triangles to achieve the correct shapes shown.
2) Correctly arrange dolls according to their disorders.
3) Connect wires with matching symbols.
4) Move a token along every line without overlapping.
5) A Pac-Man type game where you move your choice of character to gather all pills without being caught.
6) Move tokens to their matching slots.
7) Enter the code on the keypad using a diagram.
This Collector's Edition has 11 Achievements, 15 replayable Hidden Object Puzzles, 21 replayable Puzzles, 10 Movie Videos, 8 Concept Art photos, 8 Wallpapers, Behind the scenes, 7 Music Soundtracks, 40 Collectible Lighthouses, a Souvenir Room, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy your stay!

Prince Rama, his brother Laxman and his wife Seeta were exiled fourteen years ago and have been living in the demon infested forest. The two warrior brothers fought and defeated the demons who fled to Lanka. This angered the demon king Ravana who kidnapped Seeta, this is the story of the journey to defeat the demon king and rescue Seeta.
This is a Higher/Lower solitaire game where you can play either one card higher or one card lower than the foundation card, regardless of suit to attempt to remove all Pearl cards and win the hand. Some cards are locked with clouds and require you to first uncover the sun key card to free the clouds covering the cards. Combos of at least 4, start to fill the Multiplier bar, the higher the combo, the higher the score. There are Wild Cards to earn, and Luck Cards that will either reward you with a treasure chest of coins or a Poisonous Snake which will disable one of your Heros for one round. There are four different Heroes you can call upon, one can remove any closed card, one removes any open card, one removes two cards from the board and places them into the deck and the fourth turns over three face down cards. There are 9 different trophies to earn as well, enjoy!

This game was an immediate purchase for me when the Collector's Edition was released. It's one of the most entertaining and hilarious games I've ever played. It's all about love, or at least running away from love, complete with Zombies, Trolls, and of course, vampires! Count Dracula was looking for love in all the wrong places, an internet dating service. His princess seemed perfect from her profile. He was expecting a beautiful woman, instead he got a very large aggressive woman and now the Count must do everything in his power to keep one step ahead of her, but she's right on his heels! You can play in relaxed mode, multi click and timed modes and the Collector's Edition has a present on every level to find and open to receive collectible stickers.
What more could you ask for, this game has it all, Vampires, Zombies, Pheasants and Trolls. You will need to hire zombies to clear paths, gather resources and collect food. My favorite part is building BloodDonalds hamburger shacks when the Count gets hungry, but of course there's the normal buildings such as sawmills and mines. Rufus is your go to zombie guy but has very little to say other than uugghh, which is okay by me. Some items you collect will go towards making potions, the first available will allow Dracula to turn into a bat. You will gradually earn bonuses that can be used once the meter fills such as swift feet which speeds up the zombie workers temporarily( but I hate fast moving zombies, right?). I love how everything is related to the story, the garlic, the BloodDonalds, even when you repair the road, the zombies simply slap a few misguided boards on top for a shabby appearance. The goal is to earn 3 gold stars, and you can replay the levels to achieve a better score.
The Collector's Edition has 30 Hidden Presents with stickers, 10 Biographies (hilarious) 6 Wallpapers, 5 Creepy Music Soundtracks, 5 Concept Art pictures, 34 Trophies to earn, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy....BWAINS!

This game is about a goldfish who finds his way to the ocean. He's no ordinary goldfish, he's a Auctus Pisciculus, and the more he eats, the bigger he gets! The only thing to do here is guide the mighty goldfish toward food, (starfish, pearls, boats and buoys included) At fist he must eat small things, and large things can hurt him if he touches them, as he gets larger, he can eat just about anything, Orcas included! He can jump out of the water to clear obstacles as well as eat the birds out of the sky. I do suggest you set the controls for your desired sensitivity before starting the game. There is an option for two players like most arcade games. I thought the game was cute at first, it's a super simple game, but after a few levels of the same thing, it just gets old, so for that reason I didn't like the game, but you might so I strongly recommend you try the demo first.
I don't recommend this game.

The ancient Zahhak plans to use Sasha in order to claim the power of the Immortals and Lilly will stop at nothing to save her.

Lilly and her sister Sasha have returned, well actually, Lilly has returned, but Sasha isn't really Sasha anymore! Lilly has vowed to either bring Sasha back, or be the one to end her life and destroy Zahhak once and for all! This is one of the better role playing series available, I must admit it took me a long time to appreciate the retroness of this type of game. It's very difficult to figure out how to maneuver the characters, what to explore and what to use during a battle (and I choose Easy) I'm still learning, but I love a challenge and I love the challenging puzzles.

I bought this game several years ago, I liked the game back in the day, and after replaying the entire game, I still like the story and the challenge. I never got around to playing the Collector's Edition until recently, and can tell you in all honesty, this game is the better value. It can be a challenging game without a Strategy Guide, but most of the tasks are within one or two nearby locations so it is doable without the SG. Many reviewers complained about the HOP's being too hard or items too well hidden, personally I really enjoyed the challenge. I'm a little tired with the simplicity of today's HOP's, nothing's hidden, the items are just strewn about in a large junkpile. This story begins when Ann wakes up from a terrible nightmare that her sister Jennie is in trouble. Moments later she gets a call from Jennie's husband, Richard telling her that Jennie has passed away. To add to Ann's suspicions, Richard tells her that the funeral will be held privately at the Rainheart estate! Ann ignores Richard's request and travels to the Rainheart manor, where Jennie's spirit appears to tell her she's not dead yet. To break her curse, Ann must find 5 wedding rings, a ring belonging to each of Richard's wives who all died mysteriously!
The graphics are simple, but effective, creating a dark, creepy atmosphere with cobwebs, spiders, and gothic style statues that show their age. There are no voiceovers, but I'm okay with that and in my opinion, there isn't that much reading involved. You can choose between two modes of difficulty, Casual or Challenge which basically gives you either a fast Hint refill or a slow refill.
The Hidden Object Scenes are in every scene, which at times seemed too much. Some of the objects are very difficult to spot because the graphics are dark and many items are too small, but I enjoyed the challenge. Most of the scenes are slightly interactive list finds, but there are also scenes requiring you to match pairs of objects, or find 15 mirror fragments.
The Mini Games are decent, and not too frustrating. Below is a list of brief descriptions:
1) Move tokens to the correct color coded slots using an empty slot on a cross. 2) Click on several segments to align a spiders legs to the indentations on the door. 3) Interact with the scene using various tools to recreate a herbarium. 4) Rotate 4 disks so that when combined they would create the image shown on the center disk. 5) Arrange Roman Numeral tokens in the correct order on a clock using a rotation button and spiders who will swap the positions of two numerals. 6) Correctly place mirror fragments to complete a broken mirror.
The Collector's Edition has Wallpapers, Music Soundtracks, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Well Detective, you've managed to get yourself involved in a war between two kingdoms! It looks like the little boy didn't cry wolf when he told the story of finding an ancient artifact, a malevolent queen controlling mechanical beasts, and the beautiful Princess Leda who has a golden touch! Queen Valla of Barisa, has rallied her people for the eminent war at hand, but she may have an ulterior motive, is this truly a righteous war? Jack has beat you to the scene this time, but he's looking for something entirely different, a Shooting Star to grant wishes.....is this a fairytale or a reason for war?
I am disappointed, one of my favorite features in Dark Parables, have been the Morphing Objects. These were the really cool morphs, morphs that are triggered by a non-linear action that may not begin to morph until you are several scenes ahead, so you never knew! For whatever reason they have abandoned this feature, perhaps it's too difficult to program? At least they still have Parables! Parables are collectibles that tell a tale once all three sections of a Parable has been collected. There are also some very well hidden Snowflakes, 40 of them, and some of them are nearly impossible to find, the good news is that you get a chance to go back and find the ones you missed!
The Hidden Object Scenes are actually FROG's, a feature these games are famous for. The items you search for are actually fragments scattered cleverly about the scene. There are three different sections, and once you have found all the fragments the three sections will combine to give you the completed inventory item.
The Mini Games are always a treat, almost everything in the land of Dark Parables requires finding emblems, including the puzzles. Below are brief descriptions of the puzzles you will encounter during the game:
1) Rotate ruin stones correctly, turning one stone affects others.
2) Interact with the scene of the story Goldilocks.
3) Move tokens to designated spots at the bottom of the board using only spaces with the same shape.
4) Rotate cylinders to create a path for three different shapes from right to left.
This Collector's Edition has 8 Wallpapers, 6 Concept Art pictures, 9 Music Soundtracks, 21 replayable Puzzles, 20 replayable FROGS, 14 Movie trailers, 11 Achievements, 40 Hidden Snowflakes, Collectible Parables, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Adventure (with bad boy Jack!) Enjoy!

Victoria's father has cut her off of the family fortune until she can learn the values of her family's seal. Daddy left her the family's Restaurants but it's up to her to make them successful. This game is a mixture between a Time Management game and a Hidden Object game where you search the area to find all the ingredients to make the dishes they want, then either chop, mix, boil, cook or fry the ingredients, as fast as possible to keep them happy thus receiving a larger tip. Each scene contains bonus coins and bonuses such as % tickets to get more money from a customer, candy to keep them happier, presents or butterflies to show you where ingredients are. The money you earn will be used to build a zoo (makes no sense to me me what a zoo has to do with a restaurant) each category will have three different options, each costing a little bit more. There are Mini Games in between where you place items into the scene where they belong by referencing a photo, or interacting with the scene to complete certain tasks. Oh yea, I almost forgot, there is a ghost of a Chef who assists you to gain Victoria's father's respect back so he can move on with his afterlife. All this is just weird and makes no sense.
