Kudo's to the devs for creating a unique game, but having to use tools to remove the mistakes from paintings is time consuming, and it just became as annoying as the pesky cartoon hornet that you are supposed to swat. This isn't really a Hidden Object Game, the goal is to find every item that doesn't belong in one painting at a time. When you find something that doesn't belong in the painting, you click the reagent dropper icon and click on the item that doesn't belong. That item will turn colors indicating what tool you use to remove it. Pink means you use the pink eraser, Blue requires the scraper, tan requires the brush, if you use the wrong tool such as the scraper, it will tear the painting and you will need to use the needle and thread icon to repair it. A pesky hornet will constantly buzz around the painting and if you are able to click on him to swat him, you receive extra points, but he reappears immediately and misclicking to catch him will cause your stats to reflect the misclicks. I saw no need for the hornet, and I think I would have enjoyed the game much better if all I had to do was find the mistakes without having to repair the art with several senseless tools.

What an unusual game this turned out to be! The goal is simple, draw a line of gunpowder from the fire to the safe to blow it up and reap the rewards. Kegs are bombs and the fire will ignite the kegs, each level has 3 Grimshaw Piggy Banks that will give you extra points if you figure out a way to include them in your explosions. The game moves quickly, as soon as you begin to draw the gunpowder line from the fire, the fire will begin to inch it's way up the line, so once you start, keep going. (don't worry, you can restart the level as often as you want) There is a powderbar at the top of the screen that shows how much gunpowder you have remaining, left clicking will lay the gunpowder and right clicking will erase the powder with a broom, or you can click on the icon's themselves. Some levels require you to place limited amounts of kegs before drawing gunpowder lines, and each keg will show the radius of the explosion it covers, there is also an icon at the top of the screen that will show the radius for all of the kegs. As you progress, the obstacles become increasingly more difficult, especially when trying to figure out ways to incorporate all three piggy banks, such as jumping rivers and avoiding rocks that will put out the flame. Your score is tallied up with the amount of piggy banks you blew up, 1-3, and it shows the level estimated time goal vs. your score. This is the perfect game for relaxation with just a touch of adrenalin, enjoy!

It's been a long time since a really good solitaire game has been offered. There's no story here, no flashy graphics, and really no gimmicks, just good old fashioned Higher/Lower Solitaire levels that start out on a green poker board. The object of the game is to place cards from the board onto the foundation deck that are either one higher or one lower than the last card placed. There is a meter at the top that tell you how many matches must be made to score 1-2 or 3 gold stars, every time you score 3 stars, you will receive an extra Undo feature. Every level has a Wildcard hidden, and there is a foundation card counter icon, but that's really about it, no fancy gimmicks at all.
There are 84 levels available, and you will earn coins depending on how many stars you earn. You can replay levels as often as you want, and I liked the fact that each level is clearly displayed with the number of stars you earned, so you easily know which one's to replay for a better score. As you progress, you will "Rank Up" starting with Rookie followed by Novice, Gamester, Talent, Card Shark, Hustler, Challenger, Ace, Winner, Champion, Solitaire Master and Solitaire Star. You will also receive coins for each Trophy Achievement you earn, but you have to go into the Trophy room and accept or redeem the coins. The coins are used to purchase 18 different themes, such as backgrounds or card themes, including themes from Zombie Solitaire and Atlantic Quest, enjoy!

There are some RPG games I adore, and some that I can't even make it through the demo, but there's never been one quite this comical. I haven't played any of the previous versions of Aveyond, but this fourth edition is really interesting so I'm going to check out the other three. It isn't necessary to have played them because the cutscene at the beginning catches you up to speed.
Boyle Wolfbane had a plan, a plan to rule the world, but a group of heroes saved the day and forced Boyle into retirement. At least he still has his faithful dog Fang....or does he? When Fang is kidnapped, Boyle begins to realize that he might have to go towards the light and become a hero himself!
Aveyond has three different modes of difficulty, Misunderstood which is an easier mode with less enemies that do 20% less damage and respawn less, and your health restores with each new level. Villain is a normal mode, damage and spawning from enemies is at normal rates and your health is restored with each new level. Super Villain is an expert mode where enemies do 20% more damage, almost all enemies respawn and your health does not restore with new levels. There is a Journal with quests, an Inventory icon and a Fang attack icon available and you can tweak the Keyboard and Mouse settings as well.
This is a really entertaining RPG game with decent graphics and a really good storyline. If you haven't played a role playing game before, you should give it a try, and this is a good game to test the waters, enjoy!

Join Jill and Mike on another wild gardening trip around the world. Gardens Inc.will be televising an international reality garden show featuring none other than Jill and Mike, America's favorite gardening couple! They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first baby, so the money they earn will help them create the perfect room for their little bundle of joy. Becoming a TV star unfortunately, has made them a prime target, and during an interview on the Very Late Show, someone has managed to nab the dynamic duo! It's a little difficult for the show to go on without the gardening superstars, who would do such a thing and why?
Gardens Inc. never disappoints, and this fourth episode has many new features as well as the features that make this game fantastic, building beautiful gardens and choosing which flowers to plant. Each level has a Bonus Goal such as building two identical gardens, making adjacent garden different or planting as many different flowers as you can. Each level has a treasure chest to find that contain extra coins, and you can earn 500 extra coins for each Mole you click on that pops up in random areas, sometimes he returns for an encore. You can earn trophies in Gold, Silver or Bronze in Timed and Expert modes, Relaxed mode rewards you with only Gold trophies, but you earn less coins, and the Expert mode is more difficult to obtain level goals. If you beat the Developer's Score you earn more coins as well, and eventually you will receive Bonus Star Icons that will make the workers Run Faster, make them work faster or produce resources quicker, but they need to recharge after each use.
The Coins you earn are used to remodel the baby's room, with new flooring, wallpaper, cribs, rugs and toys, but in my opinion, the choices are all ugly and unappealing. The feature that makes this game unique, is the fact that you can switch some buildings to produce an alternate type of resource, such as stones, tools, or seeds, and when you plant gardens, you get to choose from several different types and colors of plants, and you can change them at anytime,
Both Editions offer 35 Coin Chests, 60 Achievement Trophies, Pop up Moles to catch (if you catch at least one mole in each level, you will earn a Trophy) The Collector's Edition offers 10 Bonus Episodes (45 Regular episodes) and a built in Walkthrough Strategy Guide. Personally I see no need for the "extras" in a TM Strategy game, which makes this Standard Edition the ideal choice, enjoy!

The Mill has been providing the small village of Wolfhill, with food, for many generations of the Miller's lineage. The Miller's have always been hard working citizens, and well respected by Wolfhill residents, but this family has a curse, a life altering curse that occurs with every full moon! Many moons ago, a weary farmer struck a deal with a powerful Druid, whose promise of a long awaited cure, was well worth the steep price they negotiated. Your father refused to honor the debt his ancestor's owed the Druids, and fled Wolfhill to keep you safe. When your father learns that the Druids have plans to take his cousin's newborn child, you know it's time to return to Wolfhill and face your demons, prepared or not!
The graphics in this latest edition of Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Curse of Wolfhill are beautifully hand drawn, I prefer the crisp, computer generated graphics, but these artists deserve a pat on the back for their creativity. Because you are a "coming of age" werewolf, you will hone your special abilities such as a keen eyesight, a keen sense of smell, and werewolf strength, which are obtained once you have found enough mistletoe berries, (there is an icon on the bottom right side of the inventory bar) that are native to only Wolfhill. In my opinion, this game fell a little flat, there isn't anything special, including the storyline, to make this game stand out from any other HOPA game of the same genre, it's a forgettable kind of game. It's not a bad game, it has entertainment value, it's just not over the top exciting. There are the usual complex inventory items, custom difficulty modes and Achievements available. This Collector's Edition has Collectible Family items such as photo's, and personal Miller family items, again, not so impressive, I guess you can count the Mistletoe Berries as a Collectible as well.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with Interactive List finds, finding items that match the Red Text words during a background story of the Millers, Fragment finds, and silhouetted Shape finds. Some of the items are fairly well hidden which presents a nice challenge. My biggest complaint is that some of the scenes are repeated, which is really boring the second time around.
The Mini Games are decent but nothing really new, some are available in Casual or Hard modes. The following are brief descriptions of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Move the hands in the correct order. 2) Rearrange the windmill blades so that all tiles of the same color are on the same blade. 3) Select matching pairs of toys. 4) Press the fingers in the order shown in demo. 5) Move the pin all the way to the finish without touching the sides of the lock. 6) Extend all of the spiders legs to open the lock, moving one leg may affect others. 7) Slide the vacuum tubes to their sockets to overload the system, then move the elements to clear a path for the tubes.
This Collector's Edition has 4 Music Soundtracks, 20 Videos, 7 Wallpapers, 8 Concept Art Pictures, 4 Screensavers, 12 replayable Mini Games, 17 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 17 Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Adventure, enjoy!

A Ghostly entity who has been dubbed The Paxton Creek Avenger, is seeking revenge against the Mystery Trackers Organization. This phantom of the opera believes the MT agents are responsible for all of the world's sins, and has kidnapped the Commander's daughter, Ann Freeman. The Avenger is now taunting the Mystery Tracker's agents with a boastful video of his intentions to make their son's and daughter's pay for their sins. The ghost of the Opera singer has arisen from the dead to seek revenge, a paranormal case perfectly suited for an organization whose motto is to "seek and serve" even when the case is far from normal!
Mystery Trackers just wouldn't be the same without our little four legged agent, Elf would it? Of course not, and this pint sized detective is always ready, willing and absolutely able to take on tough cases like this at a barks notice, bravely going where no two legged agent could possibly fit. After all, someone has to retrieve the evidence that somehow manages to make it to the top of a tree, nestled deep inside a hole that's pitch black! Naturally, you are equipped with the latest gadget the department has invented, a Thermal Scope that locates heat sources and helps you track down the bad guy, and everything else that has a heat signature, right? . (Hey, I thought he was a ghost, do they produce a heat source?) The Thermal Scope will allow you to pinpoint the PCA's (Paxton Creek Avenger) point of origin as well as the point of departure and you'll have to play a Mini Game that becomes increasingly more difficult each time you use it. The Collector's Edition has 26 Morphing Objects and Morphing Collectible Orchestra members, hidden Photo pieces, and 21 Achievements to earn. which is the better version for me because I love Morphing Objects.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with Silhouetted Shape finds, Silhouetted hidden Musical Notes, finding 18 hidden notes within a painting and of course the typical interactive list finds that are the norm for most MT games.
The Mini Games have become way too easy in the MT series, some of them offer the puzzle in Casual or Hard, but even on Hard, the game was super simple. The following are brief descriptions of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Rotate disks to restore the image. 2) Rotate the circles so that the notes match the code. 3) Thermal Scope games, connect the symbols so they don't intersect or the line doesn't directly connect an identical symbol. 4) Move circles to the correct spot on the strings, Red means wrong placement, yellow means close and green is correct. 5) Press the piano keys in the right order. 6) Select bricks in the correct order. 7) arrange music tokens so they match the center token using arrows to rotate and buttons to swap. 8) Rotate the safe handle left and right to find the correct combination. 9) A Super Puzzle where you use clues to solve and progress through each mini game until complete.
The Collector's Edition has 8 Wallpapers, 8 Concept Art pictures, 21 Achievements, an Archive, 6 Music Soundtracks, 26 Morphing Objects, Collectible morphing Orchestra members, hidden Photo pieces, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

The family curse continues in the Gray Mansion, Brandon's young son Billy is being tormented by a man of many faces. Sometimes he appears as Alfred the Butler, sometimes as a bald man with scars, but clearly the man behind the dark cloak is the most frightening entity to Billy, and rightfully so! This man is pure evil, and he'll stop at nothing to destroy Brandon and Elena's only child. Aunt Anna is the only person capable of stopping this madman, her ability to revisit past events is the only means of finding out who, or what is after Billy, and more importantly, why?
It's hard to write a biased review for the Grim Tales saga, because this is one of my favorite storylines. If you are new to this series, I strongly recommend that you go back to the beginning (The Bride, I believe is the first in the series but I may be wrong) because the ongoing storyline is awesome, HOWEVER, it isn't a necessity, you will be able to understand this game's story even if you haven't played other games in the series. You won't have any magical amulets to slow down time, you won't enter any magical mirror portals, and you won't have any furry sidekicks, but Aunt Anna Gray does have the ability to use personal objects to travel back in time, where time stands still and people are frozen in that moment of time. With this unique ability, Anna can investigate in that time frame and solve cases that otherwise would be unsolvable. I liked the way her abilities were tied into the story to give us an explanation of the origin of why she is the only one in the family with unusual powers. The graphics are always exceptional, but I thought that the quality of the last game was much better then The Heir. Each Scene is packed full of areas of interest, and there are several Plus Sign inventory items requiring a little something extra before the item can be used. There are hidden Puzzle pieces to collect that will form 3 different Screensavers when assembled. Each Scene has a slow changing Morphing Object, and some of the scenes have Collectible Character Figures, plenty of extras to make this a superb Collector's Edition.
The Hidden Object Scenes are different every time, some of which are smaller zoom zone scenes where you find multiple fragments or objects. There are Listed items, Silhouetted Shape finds, Multiples of an item, Pairs of items to find, multi-layered finds, and descriptive finds available in just the demo alone.
The Mini Games are decent, not too hard, not too easy. Below are brief descriptions of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Rotate each of the three valves to move the gauges into the blue zone. 2) Lead the zebra through the labyrinth using directional arrows to open and close the gears along the path. 3) Move lockpicks into the lock selecting individual rods to lift up or down as well as directional arrows to move the lockpicks. 4) Assemble a puzzle picture by swapping square tiles. 5) Move the portraits along the lines to their correct places, or choose two portraits to swap positions. 6) Enter the correct safe combination following the combination found.
This Collector's Edition has 8 Wallpapers, 8 Concept Art pictures, a Secret Room to test your skills, 5 Music Soundtracks, 13 Collectible Character Figures, 3 Screensavers to assemble with the collectible Puzzle Pieces) an Archives Room, a Morphing Object in every scene, 19 Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Adventure, ENJOY!

I've played a lot of Match 3 games over the years, but there's never been a Match 3 game like this one. There are 5 Chapters and each Chapter has 21 levels available in a Relaxed untimed mode or Normal timed mode where you can earn up to three gold stars. (the meter indicates each star status) The board for each level has several tiles or in this case "lockers" made up of several colors. You make matches of at least 3 lockers of identical colors by swapping them horizontally, vertically or in an L shape, which will cause the matched lockers to crumble and expose Fruit tiles. Now the fun begins, each level has goals that are shown at the top of the screen of specific numbers of each fruit that needs to be collected. As you match the fruit in the same manner as the lockers, the fruit falls off the board and the tiles above the matched fruit fall down to replace the empty matched fruit tiles. This can be helpful or hurtful because fruit tiles can be blocked by unbroken locker tiles, and you cannot move a fruit tile when trying to match a locker tile and vice versa.
You can earn Bonus Tools as you progress, listed below: 1) Fruit Bubbles: a bubble that is constantly changing fruit types, click to pop when the desired fruit appears.
2) Magic Key: this key allows you to unlock any locker tile even tiles covered in spider webs.
3) Hammer: the hammer allows you to eliminate any single tile of your choice.
4) Fruit Bomb: this bomb explodes when the fruit inside the bomb is included in a match.
5) Fruit Blaster: this blaster will drop all surrounding fruit identical to the fruit inside the blaster.
6) Web Broom: allows you to sweep the spider webs.
7) Bug Spray: this spray exterminates all spiders.
There is a Shuffle Icon that allows you to shuffle all the tiles without penalties, but the icon must recharge before it can be used again. Spiders appear in some of the levels and these pesky arachnids will cover tiles in spider webs rendering the tile useless unless you make a match next to the webbed tile, the spider will fall off the board if you make a match under him, but he usually has friends nearby to take his place. This really is a an unusual and highly addictive game, give it a try, enjoy!

Over a Thousand years ago, a group of scientists discovered a way to save mankind from a deadly virus, a process called the Cybernetic Project, or Mechafication. This process transformed humans into mechanical creatures, not the most desirable solution, but the only solution that would defeat the virus allowing mankind to continue their journey. Unfortunately, the scientist who was responsible for the transformation back to the human state, mysteriously disappeared, sealing the human fate forevermore! That is of course, until you came along and discovered a weak transmission from the missing scientist, there's only one thing to do now, find the source of the transmission which will surely lead you to the missing scientist who can restore life as it once was.
Great storyline, but the rest of the game just get's old fast. You have a PDA which contains all important information, your journal notes, current events, objectives, tasks and a map. This PDA is also used to "plug" into all other mechanical devices that you come across, including pneumatic mail capsules, computers and even card access machines. There are no voiceovers, but every character you have a conversation with will have dialog choice boxes, or predetermined questions to ask, from what I can tell, all questions have to be asked, but the order is up to you..
This is purely an adventure game without a lot of handholding, there are no Hidden Object Scenes and all Mini Games are directly related to the piece of equipment you are trying to use, some of which require passcodes that you have found prior to. The biggest problem I had with the game was with the numerous typo errors such as: "why does it not aimed in the sky" did humans lose their grammar knowledge during this transformation? All in all, it's not a horrible game, it just doesn't progress fast enough for my tastes, perhaps you'll enjoy it more than I.
