After discovering a fourth dimension and color in Fantasy Mosaics 14, the adorable penguin family is ready for a whole new adventure. Mr. and Mrs. Penguin are taking the family to an ancient land in hope of discovering their family roots!
There are still four colors available and you can earn a Gold trophy if you make no mistakes, a Silver trophy if you make one mistake and a Bronze trophy if you make two mistakes, three mistakes require you to replay the level. You will also earn up to three gold Stars if you don't make any mistakes, one star is deducted each time you use a hint. Therefor, it is possible to make a mistake or two but still earn 3 stars if you don't use any hints.
This is a griddler or mosaic type puzzle game where you fill in and cross of cells on various sized grids, using logic. There are groups of numbers located on each column and row of the grid, each group of numbers must be separated by at least one blank or crossed off cell. Sometimes it's easier to figure out where numbers can't possibly fit to reduce the amount of cells and narrow the playing field down a bit. Some cells contain bonuses such as extra hints, extra mistakes allowed or an extra pickaxe which allows you to choose which cell you want a hint on. There is a Sun icon as well that when fully charged, will give you a mega hint, filling in or crossing off a 3x3 area of your choice.
The one feature that makes Fantasy Mosaics stand out from the rest of the griddler games, is the vibrant array of colors available, and now there's four to make the pictures even better. It can also help you solve the puzzle when you get stuck, because you can switch to another color which ultimately narrows down the available cells. Unlike many griddler games, these pictures actually make sense, because they have four different colors you know what image you have created.
This series is one of the best available, and certainly the most colorful. This is a must have game for griddler geeks and an immediate purchase for this geek, enjoy!

Victoria has been raised in an orphanage, and she barely remembers her parents. She has recurring dreams that an evil witch captured her parents but witches aren't real and it's only a dream, or so she thought! Turns out that Victoria's parents are witches and they really were captured by the evil witch, Agnes. Aunt Wendy has been keeping tabs on her from a distance for her own safety, but now the time has come for Victoria to learn how to cast spell of her own. Aunt Wendy will teach Victoria everything a young witch should know at The Mystic Academy of Magic. So it's time to collect ingredients and cast spells to prove you're ready to face the evil witch, Agnes, and reunite with your long lost parents!
I love this whimsical Match 3 game, that actually has an interesting story to go along with it. You can choose Relaxed Mode with unlimited moves, or Challenge Mode which requires each level to be completed within a specific number of moves. The goal is to collect the necessary amount of ingredients such as bear claws, dragon teeth, swamp water, phoenix feathers, scorpion stingers, spider legs, bat blood, grave dust and even vampire hearts (don't worry they don't need 'em) the ingredients are collected by making matches under them until they fall off the board. Making large matches will earn bonuses on the board that will destroy tokens when clicked upon in specific directions. The points you earn will determine whether you earn 1-2 or 3 golden stars, and you can replay the level to try for a better star score.
Some of the tokens have coins hidden under them that can be used to upgrade your Bonus Power-ups which are earned as you progress. The Wand allows you to choose one token to destroy, the Torch will destroy spider web obstacles, and eventually you will receive Stakes, Whirlwind, Hammer, and Lightning Power-ups as well. There are the usual obstacles, wooden crates that can be busted to expose ingredients by matching tokens next to them, Spider webs that require matches made of the same token as the token covered by webs. As you progress a Wicked Spider will torment you by throwing spider webs at random tokens to slow your progress, the spider can be eliminated by making two upgrades to the Torch Power-up bonus.
This Match 3 game would be perfect for Halloween, but it's still delightful to play anytime, enjoy!

Mankind has been oblivious to the secret war that has been waged deep beneath the surface for over a thousand years! In the beginning, humans were terrorized by demons, but a few elite individuals formed an order to fight back against these evil entities. The "Demon Hunters" risked their lives to protect the world at any cost, Dawn is a Demon Hunter, the last of her kind. After defeating the Archdemon, Ragner, the demon responsible for her father's death, she realizes evil never rests, and neither can she! Dawn's good friend and demonic believer, Sheriff Arthur Brown has asked for help in solving the murder of Olivia Martin whose only child, Lila is has been missing ever since. This case has all the signs of supernatural and demonic activity surrounding it. Evil does exist my friend, and as long as there are demons to torment humans, the Demon Hunters will risk their lives to protect mankind.
I've always been a fan of this series, Chronicles From Beyond was a really good game, but the graphics were less than desirable, A New Chapter came along with a very intriguing storyline and much improved graphics, Revelation however has got it all, beautiful computer generated graphics, creative puzzles and a super exciting plot. The Collector's Edition version has Achievements to earn and 45 Hidden Collectibles in three different categories, Coins, Dolls (creepy dolls) and Scrolls which are basically Family Tree portraits with bios. Personally, I purchased the CE because I'm a fan of all the collectibles and extra's they have to offer, but THIS STANDARD EDITION is perfectly fine if you don't care about the extra's.
The Hidden Object Scenes are very well done but nothing to write home about, there are Interactive List Finds and Silhouetted Shape Finds, Symbols to Find in a storybook, some of which leave behind or expose fragments or keys needed to find the final object. Some of the HOP scenes have a morphing objects that must be in their correct form to click on. In the Collector's Edition there is an optional Matching Pair Game where you flip over two tokens at a time and try to find matching pairs of images.
The Mini Games however are top notch, but then again, this entire series has always offered creative puzzles. The following are brief descriptions of some of the Mini Games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Turn all crystals green by rotating them left or right, left turns crystals 2 fields left, right turns crystals 3 fields right.
2) Find symbols shown by interacting with a storybook.
3) Discover the order in which the symbols hanging from chains on each door should be pressed by interactively uncovering clues in the correct order.
4) Rotate cylinder sections to complete the image, clicking on one section affects others.
5) Place and rotate the gears on to the designated surface in a correct order so that each of them rotate.
The Collector's Edition has re-playable Mini Games and Hidden Object Puzzles, 5 Music Soundtracks, 24 Concept Art Pictures, 6 Wallpapers, 15 Hidden Coins, 15 Hidden Dolls, 15 Hidden Scrolls, 8 Achievements available in Gold, Silver and Bronze, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Recently I dusted off the first few Haunted Hotel games because I love this series and wanted to refresh my memory of it's beginnings. What I refreshed was the discovery that this series started out horribly! Haunted Hotel I & II aren't even remotely scary, and aren't really about hauntings at all, just weird things happening inside the rooms of a hotel. Luckily for us, things got more hauntingly creepy and The Axiom Butcher has returned from the dead to add a few more bodies to his long bucket list of things he apparently didn't finish before dying!
The graphics just keep getting better and better, the crisp computer generated graphics are far superior than it's predecessors, the details are so realistic, which helps to make the gamer one with the surroundings of this creepy Hotel where you check in anytime, but you may not want to check out! This Collector's Edition has 25 Morphing Objects to find and 20 Hidden, but rather large Crystal Balls which contain some rather unusual items within, and also gives brief descriptions in the secret room. There are the usual Achievements to earn and many of the inventory items have plus signs indicating some type of interaction is required before the item can be used.
The Hidden Object Scenes are in a variety of styles, Interactive List, Progressive Silhouetted Shapes, Multiples and even finding items that match the Keywords shown in yellow text during a short story. The Mini Games are doable, and fairly decent, nothing groundbreaking but they are fun and entertaining such as selecting and placing dominoes on the empty spaces, each domino should only fit when two matching symbols are placed side by side.
This Collector's Edition has 10 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 4 Music Soundtracks, 18 Achievements, 20 collectible Crystal Balls, 25 Morphing Objects Tarot Cards, 13 re-playable Mini Games, 15 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, a Secret Room, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Ahoy, matey! Batten down the hatches, landlubbers, that scallywag Edmund Rich, the captain of the Black Armada will attack any minute! Avast! Shiver me timbers, everyone knows a Privateer when they sees one, and the Armada's carrying nuten but yellow bellied hornswagglers! All hands hoya, time to powder the monkeys or else ye be feeding the fish, thar she blows!
Okay that may have been over the top (but it really does have meaning if you know pirate lingo) I got carried away with all the excitement of this entertaining pirate themed Time Management game, no worries lad, there's plenty of buried treasures to find on this adventure, once ye remove the sand that is. just about ever scene has buried treasures to spot, and the feature that makes this TM game so unique is that there are several islands that require you to first repair or build docks, and then row your boat to the island to search for treasure, resources, food and even bonuses. There are even resources floating on the shoreline and fish to catch for food to serve the pirates.
You are given several tasks to complete at the beginning of each level and you can earn up to three golden Jolly Rogers. Any level can replayed to try for a better score, and you can play in a Timed or Relaxed mode. There are 20 Achievements to earn and 10 valuable Artifacts to find as well as the Collectible Edition extra's such as Wallpapers, Trophies and a SG. As you progress, you level up and get to choose an upgrade in percentages, speedier repairs, extra workers, more resources etc.
This is a fantastic Time Management game and it's really a lot of fun, however, I'm not sure there's enough extra in the CE, so I'll most likely wait until the SE is released before purchasing it, but in the meantime, give it a try you'll be glad ye did, enjoy mates!

Remember how exciting the very first Sea of Lies game was. The storyline was so different than all of the other games, and took place either at sea or on the coastline with lots of pirates and seafaring mates. The dialect was convincing as was the time period props and wardrobe, I really thought this series was going to be one of my all time favorites, however, Sea of Lies was releasing a new game every time you'd turn around it seemed like, and I began to notice a change. Sea of Lies distanced themselves away from the one thing that set this series apart from all the other genre's, the Pirates! They weren't about treachery and mutiny on the high seas, nobody walked the plank, why? Because there was no plank to walk, most of the games weren't even taking place on a ship, some barely mentioned a ship and even then, there were no pirates.
Finally! I think Leviathan Reef will be Sea of Lies' saving grace, with it's beautiful graphics and fantastic pirate flare, I'm not going to complain about a single thing! This Collector's Edition has 41 Hidden Messages in a Bottle, and some of the scenes have a Morphing Object as indicated by the icons above the inventory bar.
The Hidden Object Scenes vary with just about every style, Interactive List Finds, Progressive Interactive, Silhouetted Shapes and even Sketches, my favorite takes place on the shoreline where you are tasked with finding multiples of each item, new items wash onto the shore with each ebb of the tide, pretty creative if you ask me. The Mini Games are all pirate themed or nautical themed as well, rotating tokens until all images are in their correct habitat or swapping tiles to complete a pirates map.
This Collector's Edition has 18 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 25 replayable Puzzles, replayable Match 3 games, 14 Wallpapers, 14 Concept Art pictures, 41 Hidden Messages in a Bottle, 17 Achievements, 9 Music Soundtracks, 9 Videos, a Tribute Video, a Souvenir Room, 18 Morphing Objects, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

It's been several years since Bob Price proposed to his girlfriend Arlene who felt the need to consult the spirits to give her guidance before giving him an answer. Bob never saw or heard from Arlene again, so popping the question to Sarah wasn't an easy thing for Bob to do. Bob wanted everything perfect this time, a romantic boat ride with Sarah to set the mood, and a little courage was all it took, (well that and an expensive necklace) Unlike Arlene, Sarah doesn't need spirits to consult to know she wants to spend the rest of her life as Mrs. Price. Unfortunately, Bob and Sarah's bliss doesn't last long because..................SHE'S BACK, and she's not happy!
The storyline is a bit cheesy, and certainly isn't a new plot, but the graphics are fantastic and the game is entertaining enough to overlook the "been there, done that" factor. You will receive an Amulet that seems to annoy the spirits more than anything else, and each time it's used, you will play a click and drag Match 3 type game where you make matches of each icon shown with specific amounts for each token, within a specific number of moves. In the Collector's Edition, there are 25 Hidden Bats, which are rather large in size, and there are 9 Hidden Character Figurines that are hidden much better than the Bats. There are also the usual Achievements to earn including an Achievement for answering a few easy questions about the game itself as you progress.
The Hidden Object Scenes aren't bad, but not very creative in my opinion. Most are Multiple Finds, or Fragment Finds, but I did enjoy the Interactive List Find where you had to click on items that matched the list as the item were floating down a stream at a fairly fast clip.
The Mini Games are very doable, some were way too easy, but most offer a good variety. The following are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Pull all rings open by selecting them in the correct order.
2) Arrange boards on a grid so that all boards fit without overlapping.
3) Find Objects shown at the bottom of each page in a storybook.
4) Rearrange the parts so each doll is in front of the appropriate scene.
5) Swap the tokens so each one is hanging from its matching pattern.
The Collector's Edition has 6 Music Soundtracks, 18 Wallpapers, 24 Concept Art pictures, Videos, 9 Character Figurines, 25 Hidden Bats, Jigsaw Puzzle to assemble, Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

A Mahjong game has to be super exciting to get my attention because most of the games are boring. All-in-One Mahjong has some unique features that let you choose how and what you want to play. For starters, you can choose from 15 different backgrounds, not just any background, these are beautiful pictures. There are sunrise and sunset backgrounds, first snow photos, and gorgeous landscape photos from around the world, including famous National Parks such as Yosemite and Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge.
After debating which stunning background to use, you move on to the Tile style which gives you three choices, a traditional type mahjong tile, a bright and vibrant color tile type or a themed mahjong tile type. Now you get to choose the mode of gameplay. You can choose to play Timed Mode which has a shuffle feature, and you must clear all of the tiles within the allotted time given. You can play Score Mode which has no timer or shuffle feature. You either win the game (think solitaire) or lose, clear all the tiles to win, get stuck with no available moves and lose.
Your last choice is choosing which of the 42 Mahjong layouts to play, none are locked so you can play them in any order. The layouts are really interesting such as Butterflies, Clovers, Castles, Spiders, Cactuses, Umbrellas, Scorpions Anchors and even Space Invaders.
The Mahjong games themselves have the usual features, Hints, Shuffle (timed mode only) Undo, Available Moves and a Highlight feature that highlights all open available times. There are no gold tiles, at least none of the games I played had any, the object is the traditional style of just making matches of identical tiles that aren't blocked by other tiles, until all tiles have been cleared from the board. If you want to play a good old fashioned traditional Mahjong game, look no further, enjoy!

Welcome to the city that never emotes, you'll never experience pain and suffering, there's no anger, no resentment, there's only euphoria and bliss, as long as you keep drinking the kool-aid that is! This is a town full of mind controlled citizens who blindly muddle their way through life as mere puppets, feeling absolutely no emotions whatsoever. Naturally, where there's puppets, there's bound to be a puppeteer. When this puppet master joins forces with Suzanne, a rogue agent from The Curio Society, there may be nothing that can stop their nefarious plans to control the world.
I wasn't impressed with the first game in this series, and I'm certainly not impressed with this middle of the road game either. Both games offer nothing new or exciting, both games seem a bit lame in my opinion. I know plenty of gamers will disagree with me, but compared to most CE's offered lately, this one's a dud. There are a whopping 32 Achievements to earn making it nearly impossible to make a move without earning one, and there's the usual Plus Sign inventory items requiring minor interactions before using. There are two icons above the inventory bar that will indicate whether or not that scene has a Morphing Object and or a Collectible Rorschach Card, some scenes contain one of each, some scenes only have one or the other and some scenes have neither. You will also find Medical Profiles that describe different emotions such as Apathy or Euphoria. At the beginning of the game you will be given a journal with available Tasks, and throughout the game you'll find Journal Notes that are automatically added to your journal, none of these "extras" are actually hidden or difficult to find, they're just sitting in plain view within the scenes and present no challenge whatsoever.
The Hidden Object Scenes are okay, again nothing new or remotely creative. There are the usual Progressive Interactive Silhouetted shape finds, Silhouetted Shape finds requiring several of the same items, Morphing Object Finds, and items that match the Key Words in each paragraph. The only one I thought was unusual had a switch that turned on a blacklight and panned to the rear of the scene, switching back to the front of the scene with a dimly lit regular light.
The Mini Games are okay, but once again I feel they lack imagination and creativity, they all seem to be variations of choosing correctly because choosing one affects others. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Restore the portrait by swapping pie shaped sections.
2) Click on typewriter keys with fingerprints in the correct sequence.
3) Use levers to rotate rows of test tubes to position the correct colored liquids above the tubes, rotating one row affects others.
4) Find matching pairs of symbols by flipping over two tokens at a time. If you fail to make a match, the tokens will swap.
5) Follow the recipe in the correct sequence.
6) Restore the image using arrows to adjust rows.
7) Flip switches to open the central cache, flipping one switch may affect others.
This Collector's Edition has 32 Achievements to earn, 12 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 10 Collectible Rorschach Cards for a Personality Test, Collectible Medical Profiles and Journal Notes, 15 Morphing Objects, an Archive Room, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter.

Have you ever been so engrossed in the one hour trial demo of a game that you are surprised by the sudden and abrupt ending to the demo? (and have you noticed it always ends when you are almost finished with your puzzle) Well, that's how I felt when this game ended and I scrambled to hit the "buy now" button so I could get back to the solid entertainment. I will also admit that I rarely purchase Griddler games outside of my favorite series with Mr. Penguin, so mums the word on this one, lol!
There's somewhat of a story as you join Charlotte on a treasure hunting adventure in a hot air balloon, but in a Mosaic griddler game I don't really care much about the storyline, I just want to be challenged somewhat, and I want bright colors that form a picture a can actually recognize. Rainbow Mosaics delivered all that and more, and even gives me the option to choose from several different types of filled cells, my favorite was the lego style.
There are 120 levels, and as you progress you can unlock those levels in the Freeplay mode. There are 3 types of bonuses available, the Hammer allows you to open a cell of your choice, the Rye Power opens a random right square of cells and the Grid opens a chosen area without negative outcomes. You can earn up to 3 gold stars for the usual goals of finishing the grid without hints or more than one mistake. Each filled in cell will earn you coins or bonuses that can be used to purchase upgrades of each power-up, or you can decorate Charlotte's office with comfy chairs and decor. There are Trophies to earn as well, but I just enjoy the relaxation I receive when playing a good mosaic griddler game where each puzzle is just a tad bit more challenging than the previous one. Now that my game has finished downloading I'm ready to finish the grid I almost accomplished before the trial ended, enjoy!
