Valerie and her PHATHER were never very close, nonetheless, your sister needs to be informed that he has passed away. Tracking her down hasn't been easy, especially during a blizzard. It seems that Val has been working PHOR Doctor Edward Corvine at his private compound in the Oregon mountains, but something seems PHISHY about this whole research scenario. The compound itself was once a booming hotel known as the Arcadia, and was built by the good doctor's PHATHER Christopher. Who knows what happened to Dr. Corvine as a child growing up in this huge hotel, whatever it was, it inspired him to dedicate his life researching all the things that go bump in the darkness! Your sister and her colleague Jordan seems unusually nervous, could it be because of the sinister shadows you thought you saw? Are you being used as a guinea pig in their research, an experiment? Should you stand your ground and PHIGHT or should you run and take PHLIGHT?
It's no secret that the original Phantasmat is my all time PHAVORITE game, and today's release of Reign of Shadows has had me doing my happy dance PHOR sure! The number one reason I love this series is because of the creative storylines. The PHACT is, no other game has ever duplicated the plot from the first Phantasmat, and every time I play a new game in this series I'm constantly trying to PHIGURE out if I'm alive or dead, and what twist the plot will take, because they always do, and I love it!
The Collector's Edition version has the usual Achievements to earn as well as collectible Diary Pages disguised as Morphing Objects. There is also a Morphing Object within the Hidden Object Scenes. The graphics are amazingly well done and the detail is incredible. There are actually 9 different music tracks that seem to align perfectly with the pace and theme of each location.
The Hidden Object Scenes are also very well done and offer several varieties. There are the tried and true Interactive List PHINDS, Keywords to PHIND the associated item during a story, Morphing Object PHINDS, and even Progressive Silhouetted Shape PHINDS where you PHIND the PHIRST item that matches the silhouetted shape and then use that item back into the scene interactively to expose the next item and so PHORTH. There is an alternative Match 3 game available if you're not into HOP's.
The Mini games present a very nice challenge without being too PHRUSTRATING. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Place the gears into the correct slots based on color by moving mechanisms' elements to guide them.
2) Move cash register buttons to correct the equations shown.
3) Move the silver PHUSE into the correct position by selecting a PHUSE to move it, and small lights to restrict it's movement.
4) Arrange the square tiles to create a path for the ball to travel from point A to point B.
5) Move the receptionist through the sliding room sections to get to the double door exit.
6) A Super Puzzle or multi layered puzzle requiring you to configure lights and wires.
The Collector's Edition has 12 Achievements to earn, 19 replayable Puzzles, replayable Match 3 games, 13 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 4 Collectible Character pictures, 8 Wallpapers, 4 Concept Art pictures, 9 Music Soundtracks, 13 Videos, 21 Morphing Diary Pages, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy my PHELLOW PHISHY PHRIENDS!

The world is different now. For hundreds of years, humans have lived beside elves in a post apocalyptic world, a world that is dying. Both human and elven worlds know of the Prophecy that has been foretold by their ancestors, a glimmer of hope, another chance for survival. Legends say that a Champion from the human world will enter the Forbidden Zone to retrieve the Nucleus that will heal the world. Humankind and elves have shared the same ill fates, but will the Nucleus heal the fractured world that mankind destroyed? Is the Nucleus responsible for the ill fates of this post apocalyptic generation? Is the world ready for the Dawn of Hope?
MAD HEAD games has done it again! It seem that this dev has been doing some thinking outside the box again, like 24/7 thinking, like professional thinking, their thinking is thinking. What I think I'm trying to get across, is that once again Mad Head has presented us with another game that has an original storyline, one that is fresh and holds your attention. Lately it seems that the demo of most games are difficult to get through because they simply don't hold your attention, and there's no cliff hangers at the end of the demo to make you want to download the rest of the game. Not so with Dawn of Hope, which admittedly has a couple of slow parts in the demo, but the demo ends so well that it would be difficult NOT to download the game to see what happens!
You don't get a fuzzy sidekick, and you certainly don't get a fancy electronic tablet or smartphone because in this world, electronics are worthless, unless they can be repurposed for survival. (can you imagine a world without BF games?) You do eventually get a makeshift tool that takes 2 common items and combines them to make a useful tool such as your grappling hook, after playing a Mini Game of course. In this collector's Edition, most of the scenes have a hidden Elven Fairy to collect, a handful of Achievements to earn, and a Morphing Object within the HOP's.
The Hidden Object Scenes are a wee bit disappointing, because usually this dev incorporates unusual themes within unusual scene locations. Most of the HOP's are interactive list finds but there are variations such as Spot the Difference, finding recipe items, finding items with a beam of light and finding items that match a black and white photo. There are also a few Zoom Zone scenes, and most HOP's have a Morphing Object.
The Mini Games are fairly easy for the most part. Below are brief descriptions of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Each time you use your grappling hook, you will play a few interactive mini games where you throw the hook at targets specified, or stop the targets when they are in the green zone of the meter.
2) Place ropes in the correct order using the existing pattern as a guide.
3) Match 3 variation game removing all runes by swapping runes strategically so no rune remains on the board.
4) Blocks variation where you select and move obstacles to clear a path for the trolley.
5) Select radio knobs to arrange notes according to the picture shown.
6) Move the doors and rotate or slide tiles to complete the images.
This Collector's Edition has 16 Wallpapers, 10 Music Soundtracks, 14 Achievements, 18 Hidden Object scenes, a Collectible Hunt game, replayable Rune Games, Jigsaw Puzzles, a Character Gallery, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy the game before the world stops spinning!

In the first episode of The Trials of Olympus, we followed Angelo, an archaeologist who constructed magnificent palaces for the Gods. He fell in love with a mortal, Princess Amara, angering the gods who then exiled him to live his life on Earth as a mortal.
In this episode, the young newlyweds have angered Ares, the god of war. (probably the last god you would want to anger) Ares journeyed to bowels of the underworld to release the mighty Titans. They became allies of the "Order of Ares" an unstoppable force determined to destroy Angelo, and perhaps even Earth itself. And so it begins............
I will say this, the storyline was fantastic, in the first game, and even better in this game! The music is surprisingly relaxing, and the gameplay itself is fun, I look forward to the final episode of this Trilogy. I was slightly disappointed with the tile elements on the board because the elements were either too similar to tell them apart from one another quickly, or perhaps there were just too many different types all at once. Whatever the reason, I found it difficult at times to find matches of 3 or more identical elements, which made it difficult to achieve a fast time to earn 3 stars. I had to restart one of the levels in the demo, because the third row of the board was completely obstructed with chained elements and there were no available matches to break the chains and no way to generate new elements. My last complaint is two-fold, some of the characters voices were really annoying and even though I love the storyline, it takes too long in between levels to listen to two different characters give their spiel, so I had to choose to sit patiently while the characters move to and fro telling their long winded version, or I had to completely skip the conversations. Perhaps the story could unfold after every 5 or 10 levels, or a dialog box could be used to allow the player to read them quickly and click onto the next dialog box at a faster pace.
You can play in a Timed or Relaxed untimed difficulty mode. The goal is to achieve 3 Stars per level, you must swap tiles to make matches of at least 3 identical tiles, and you must clear all gold cells and the required number of resources. As you match elements, the mana meter will fill and allow you to use the bonuses. A Gold Bug Axe clears a single tile, the Potion Bomb clears a 4 tile range, and the Magic Pendant collects all of the same tiles you choose, eventually there will be 6 total Bonuses to choose from.
Some tiles have chains or double chains that require matches of the same tile that the chains bind, once or twice for double chains, then again to clear the gold cell. Spiders need to be destroyed by making matches under them or they will build webs on several tiles. Some icons have bubbles around them and the image inside is constantly changing. You must click on the bubble to pop it before you can make a match, but you can wait for the desired image to appear before clicking which can help you win.
After each level, you will get the opportunity to fortify the Kingdom's existing fortress, or purchase items to keep it's citizens safe. This is an unusual feature because I'm used to having to build a castle piece by piece, not put out a fire. This is a decent Match 3 game, but it still doesn't hold a candle to my beloved Cradle of Rome series, enjoy!

Yep, it's that bad! The graphics are spotty, the game mechanics are clunky, the colors as well as the game layouts are unappealing. I'm pretty sure this would even be a horrible phone app as well, especially when compared to the popular panda popping app.
I love marble popping games like Luxor which has several games in the series. Recently I downloaded an older marble popping game called Bird's Town, which is now one of my favorite and most addicting games. If you want a good marble popping or shooting game give that one a try because the graphics are decent but the birds themselves are hilarious.

This could have been an epic Match 3 game, but instead, it's a simplistic disaster. I'll be honest with you, I only played this game for about 15 minutes, I don't get why anyone would find this interesting, unless it somehow appeals to the youngsters. This is a very basic game with no thrills or frills, but mostly no fun.
The object of the game is to click on groups of identical tiles to remove them. You can choose to play in a Score Mode, or Limited Moves Mode, and then choose to play in an Easy or Hard Mode. The first Bonus you receive is a Bomb that takes out just one tile, BUT, you will be penalized 1 point or 1 move if you use the bonus. I'm sure other Bonuses are added as you progress, but as I said earlier I didn't hang around long enough to find out. The music was good for about a minute and then just became repetitious and annoying.

King Robert is furious after receiving a letter accusing his Queen of being a witch! These witch hunters believe that their Queen, like her mother before her, is a Queen Witch and they demand she reveal her true identity. To make matters even more dire, Queen Elizabeth has been granted a mere three days to get her affairs in order before being dethroned! (look on the bright side, at least she's not being burned at the stake, right?) Beloved by many, despite the accusations, Jane Bennett, Her Majesty's personal agent, has agreed to set sail and cross the English borders to procure proof of her innocence and much needed security. Jane's royal coach is ambushed shortly after departure, and she realizes just how treacherous this mission has become. Fortunately, Jane is a very resourceful woman, and manages to elude the soldiers that have been ordered to stop her from reaching the Port and boarding the Royal ship, Olivia. The Queen has enlisted the help of Captain Louis, whose loyalty remains steadfast.
Captain Louis accompanies Jane for the remainder of the mission, as he not only vehemently protects Jane, but also lends a much needed hand when the tasks at hand need a man's touch. After all, Jane is wearing a dress, lol. The graphics are stunning, I especially loved the details that made everything very realistic, the characters are lifelike, even the animals are realistic, and the characters and animals move realistically, not awkward or jilted which is something I really dislike. I'd rather everyone stay stationary than move sideways or doesn't bend their knees as they glide forward. There are collectible gold coins to collect throughout the game that can be used to upgrade the interface on the main screen. This Collector's Edition has the usual Achievements to earn as well as Morphing Objects, another one of my favorite, must have features.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with several different styles such as Silhouetted Shape finds, Interactive Listed item finds, and even Multiples of the same item finds. Many of the HOP's have small puzzles to solve or require you to find a handful of the same items which then give you two items to use in order to open up the two blocked lists such as a brush to wipe away the dirt that's covering the tile.
The Mini games I found to be entertaining, some are super easy, others can be a bit frustrating but there's a good mixture of both kinds. Below are brief descriptions of some of the puzzles you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Move the rose along every line to the empty circle. Select the rose and then select one of the green highlighted slots to move the rose to, passing along each line only once.
2) Arrange the statues to form the complete symbol between them, statues will glow if correctly placed.
3) Arrange the triangles beneath the correct gemstones by swapping along tracks.
4) Match the charms with the correct keys.
5) Move the tokens to their matching colored tiles. Select and drag a token to create a path that doesn't intersect other paths.
6) Find matching pairs of branches that aren't blocked.
7) Assemble a crossbow by placing parts correctly.
8) Rotate the triangles so that all of the small squares have identical symbols.
9) Throw the axe at the sack with the animal shown in the red circle.
10) Assemble map fragments.
11) Guide your horse to the port by selecting right and left hand icons to avoid obstacles.
12) Aim and shoot the number of colored balls indicated on the top, shooting one ball may change the color of other balls.
This Collector's Edition has Collectible Golden Coins to purchase different interface styles and colors, 39 Morphing Objects, 14 Achievements, VG Team pictures, 9 Music Soundtracks, 13 Wallpapers, 12 Concept Art pictures, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Mount Olympus is in trouble once again, this time the "Boss" has gone MIA. Zeus has disappeared, only his shoes remain at the helm of the mountain. Hercules and his wife Megara are embarking on a journey through Volcanoes, the brutal Winter, the Tropics and even Underwater to find their beloved ruler.
There are three different modes of difficulty, Relaxed, Casual and expert, and every level that is completed within Gold Time (3 stars) will reveal a part of the ancient underwater castle. Each level has a puzzle piece to find which looks like an ancient rune tile, I always look for the puzzle piece before clicking on anything which starts the game, that way I don't forget about the puzzle piece or waste time searching for it. You can then assemble each jigsaw puzzle once all pieces have been found, and I'm assuming the finished puzzle can be set as a wallpaper. You can replay any of the levels to try to get a better score or if you forgot the puzzle piece. There are several Achievements or Trophies to earn for tasks such as collecting a resource after completing the level tasks, completing the level without using bonuses or finding 10 puzzle pieces. (I counted 23 total spread throughout the levels) As you progress, different bonuses are made available that can be used each time the meter refills, such as more Resources, or Faster workers, but the effects are only temporary.
There are the usual tasks of building and upgrading farms, sawmills, goldmines, and even outposts that house workers that are far from home, clearing and repairing paths, and collecting food. Each task requires a certain amount of resources to complete and when you scan over a task, the requirements needed are shown as well as the resources you are lacking to complete the task. You can click on several tasks to have the workers complete, a checkmark will appear on the item for every available worker, and flags will queue the rest in numerical order until a worker is free. In Relaxed and Casual modes, the tasks available are circled in green, yellow indicates you will be able to complete the task once the resources collected are delivered to the base camp, red indicates the item is either blocked or you don't have enough available resources. Hercules is the go to guy for removing things no mere mortal could accomplish, and there's always an abundance of boulders and landslides in every game of the 12 Labours series.
This Collector's Edition has 9 Wallpapers, 23 (to the best of my knowledge) Trophies or Achievements to earn, (which can be viewed on the level map) Collectible Puzzle Pieces, Puzzles to complete once all the pieces have been collected, a built in Strategy Guide, 5 Bonus Episode and a Super Bonus Level enjoy!

Nothing has changed, these deves keep throwing out game after game, holiday after holiday, but they don't change a thing other than giving it different graphics to match the holiday. To be fair, I hate Traditional Mahjong because it's so boring to match two identical tiles that are free and available. Half the time you get stuck because there are no available matches left and the board automatically shuffles and you get deducted for this mandatory process.
There are 3 different tile graphic themes, one of which is Halloween themed and the object of the game is to remove all Gold tiles as quickly as you can. Goal levels may also include removing tiles within a specific number of moves, earning a specific amount of points, and removing all gold tiles within the allotted time.
There is a Shuffle Feature and a Jack-O-Lantern that will shade blocked tiles for you. There are 6 Rooms and each room has 20 games, you can earn up to 3 Stars or Keys, and you have to earn a specific amount of stars in order to unlock the next Room. If you like traditional Mahjong games then you will probably enjoy this cookie cutter game, however give Flowers Mahjong a try because that game offers much more interesting styles.

For once the description of the game by Big Fish is spot on, this is a beautiful Mahjong game with no quests and no story, to interrupt your relaxation. Normally, I hate Mahjong games because they are all the same cookie cutter boring games matching teeny tiny tiles. Flowers Mahjong is truly different from the get go. You can choose from several different modes of difficulty, Casual (no timer) Normal and Expert, AND there is a Custom option that allows you to choose whether you want a timed game, if you want to enable the Hint and Shuffle features and the recharge time it takes from 10-120 seconds, whether or not you want free available tiles shown, and if you want a bonus for time remaining. I don't think I've ever seen a custom mode for a game of Mahjong before, but this isn't your average Mahjong game because there are seven types offered. You can choose to play any type of Mahjong in any order, but you must complete all 14 games in a level before unlocking the next level. Below are brief descriptions on each of the Mahjong games available:
1) Logical Matching-select two available tiles that match logically such as ink and quill.
2) Great Wall-match two identical tiles, one tile on each side of the wall.
3) Solitaire-collect tiles starting with an Ace and ending with a Deuce.
4) Rainbow-remove tiles in the order sequence of the colors of a rainbow.
5) Bottom Tiles-match tiles on the board that match tiles shown at the bottom.
6) Four Rivers-remove tiles that can be connected with at the most 3 connecting lines.
7) Traditional-same ole same ole match two identical tiles with the goal of removing all Gold tiles.
The music is pleasant, the tiles are beautiful, the backgrounds are beautiful. There are 14 different awards to earn but mostly, this is just a relaxing and creative variation of traditional Mahjong where the devs were clearly thinking outside of the box, enjoy!

Keep 'em coming, because this is another really good Higher/Lower solitaire game that doesn't seem to be a Cookie Cutter version. There's even a nice fairytale story to learn as you progress. You can choose from 6 different card skin themes and 3 different face card themes, there are 120 levels and you can unlock them in the main game for free play to play any levels you desire. There are also 9 trophy achievements to earn.
The object of the game is to remove cards from the board either one higher or one lower than the deck card, combos start at 6 consecutive cards to bump up the multiplier bar and earn more coins. Some cards are Lucky or Royal cards that give you bonuses or extra coins, and you can earn Wildcards that are face value cards.
You will eventually unlock Bonuses that help you progress such as the Eye to flip over a face down card, Lightning to open a card and Shuffle to place all the cards in the deck for a reshuffle. You can purchase upgrades for these bonuses in the Shop and there seems to be a ton of upgrades. I love the music and the abundance of bonuses available but most of all I love that I don't have to play this game in sets of 10 rounds as I collect all the gold cards like so many of the other solitaire games, enjoy!
