Every 20 years, on the night of a full moon, the heirs to each of the four Kingdoms gather to crown the new ruler of all Kingdoms. Gathering all four elemental Princesses in one place is a very bad idea because the evil Mage Isa has all his eggs in one basket so to speak. Isa needs the blood of all four heirs to the kingdom, representing air, water, earth and fire. As usual, Isa intends to use their blood in a dark ritual, a ritual that will allow his master to return from grave!
This is one of the best Spirits of Mystery games yet, which actually takes place between the Chains of Promise and Family Lies. The graphics are beautifully hand drawn which ERS has become famous for in all of their games. The storyline does a nice job of tying old vs. new Spirits of Mystery plots together, as they explain the how's and why's of rise of Isa. ERS seems to love their floating magic devices which are presented in some form or another in all of their series, including this one which is a Moon Mirror. The mirror can destroy the Eclipse Blossom that releases a fatal poison when it blooms. Naturally, you will play a Mini Game to recharge the mirror by capturing 7 floating crescent moons that can't be seen by the naked eye.
I purchased this game in the Collector's Edition because of the abundance of CE bling. In the CE there are 20 Collectible Crowns which give you a brief description of it's origins as well as how it was forged. There are also 10 Collectible Portraits that include a brief bio of the characters in the Portrait Room. After the demo, you will start collecting 8 Mystical Cats such as Koshka the Cat, which also gives you a brief description of its origins, My favorite feature in the CE version is the Achievements you earn, which usually doesn't interest me, but I was able to learn a lot about this series through the achievements. After earning the achievements, you can visit the Achievement Room, and each achievement tells you things about the characters and kingdoms that aren't portrayed in the story, but are what the artists and story writers imagined. For example, Nanny was envisioned by the artist to look much different originally, and did you know that she was immortal, and that her name is Kim? The CE version even has two Bonus Chapters!
The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly Interactive List finds, the scenes are beautifully drawn and there are a ton of interactive items, most of the scenes have a small puzzle to solve as well. Each HOP has a hidden Crescent moon available in this Collector's Edition, another reason to go with the CE version. There are several small Zoom Zone Hop's where you find multiples of one item such as 5 feathers or flowers.
The Mini Games are easy to medium in difficulty, but fairly entertaining. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Find items that match the Keywords in each sentence.
2) Swap puzzle tiles to complete the picture.
3) Remove vines by clicking on matching flowers.
4) Click on the meter when the arrow is in the red zone.
5) Swap gems so they are in their matching color coded slots.
6) Slide symbols along tracks to the correct spots.
7) Create a continuous line of stone blocks from one end to the other by dragging various blocks of ice, stone, spikes and fire.
8) Capture 7 crescent moons with the Moon Mirror by scanning the entire scene with the mirror.
9) Fill 5 color coded vials by connecting color coded orbs with a horizontal or vertical line.
10) Select 3 piano keys with symbols, that when combined will create the symbol that is circled.
The Collector's Edition has 10 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 9 Avatars, 6 Screensavers, 16 replayable Mini Games, an Endless MG (click and drag groups of tiles in a Match 3 type game) 14 Movies, 10 collectible Portraits, 4 Music Soundtracks, 22 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 8 Collectible Cats, replayable Movies, Collectible Moons in the HOP's (view them in moon room and get horoscope) A compatibility Test to match your personality to an ERS game series, 20 Collectible Crowns, 20 Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide, a Bonus Chapter and an extra Bonus Chapter (Isa's Story), enjoy!

Everything was going great, I was thoroughly enjoying the Doodle God Griddlers when the unthinkable happened......I had to choose to either use a hint, or even worse, guess! If you've ever played a griddler game, the number one rule of thumb is, use logic to solve the puzzle, NEVER guess! To make matters even worse, this happened at the start of the puzzle, not towards the end, there was no possible starting point without using a hint (which I never use) and now I'm stuck with a game I don't want to finish.
Doodle God has been branching out lately, offering Hidden Object games Solitaire games, and now a Griddler Mosaic game. Doodle God made it's debut as an unusual game where you combine two elements to create a new element such as combining fire and earth to create a volcano. Most gamers didn't like that game because it tends to be boring for most people, but I found the game to be intriguing discovering which elements were created when I started thinking "outside of the Box" and it became harder and harder to to figure out how to make the required elements as I progressed. I was really excited that Doodle God was now offering a griddler game, one of my favorite genre's, because I thought it would offer unique qualities related to science. Even the BF synopsis of the game promises clever aphorisms (a concise statement of a scientific principle), which totally cinched the deal for me. So far in the game, there hasn't been anything different, much less scientific, the pictures aren't even science related so far.
The idea behind this type of puzzle is to either fill in or cross off square tiles in a grid of a specific size. There are numbers or groups of numbers located on each column and each row, which indicate how many cells must be filled in. Each group of numbers must be separated by at least one crossed off cell, left click to fill in a cell square or right click to cross off a cell. Each filled in cell contains a coin, and some of them contain bonus coins which can be used to buy extra hints, refill hints on the current level, or rights to make three mistakes instead of 2. You will earn three gold stars per level, and one star is deducted for each mistake made.
There are 7 Beginner tutorial levels, and one Expert level available to learn or brush up on your Griddler Mosaic skills. There are 6 Rooms in the Adventure mode which offer 20 griddler puzzles in each room, and there are Trophies to earn as well. You can replay any level as often as you want, to try to earn a better score. This game is no different than the vast majority of Griddler games offered with a single colored tile, everything is the same except for the music, which I found to be so annoying that I had to turn it off. I don't like griddler games that have puzzles I can't solve without using a hint, otherwise I would have given it a higher rating.

It may seem a bit excessive to use defibrillator paddles on a patient just because he fell asleep, but Dr. Jane Warovski knows she must go to extremes to keep her patients awake, or they may very well die! Following in her grandfather's footsteps, at the Dream Research Institute he founded, Jane knows all too well what will happen if any of her patients fall asleep. Project Mara began as a simple sleep study to allow scientists to learn the significance behind human dreams, and her grandfather discovered a way to enter people's dreams. Something went horribly wrong however, when a virus began spreading from patient to patient through their dreams. In advanced stages, the virus began to kill it's host, and Jane realized that the only way to keep her patients alive, was to keep them awake, wide awake!
Redemption Cemetery games tend to be a hit or miss kind of game, in my opinion, it's because their games are always stuck in the past. The handdrawn graphics are beautiful, but when compared to the technologically advanced computer generated graphics of today's games, they don't stand a chance. Another problem they have is that their stories are stuck in the past, the time era is always stuck in the past, and they never seem to try to introduce new features. It's difficult to make a connection with the game, all 9 games blend together because they are all about the same. I am a little confused about how this game relates to the jest of the series, Redemption, which usually involves someone going back in time to right the wrong that is keeping souls restless. not at peace. Perhaps it will be Jane that corrects the mistakes of her Grandfather, but usually this is made quite clear within the Redemption Cemetery demo.
This Collector's Edition has the usual Achievements to earn, which are awarded in Bronze, Silver and Golden skulls. There are 12 Collectible Character figurines in four different categories, At Death's Door, Clock of Fate, The Island of the Lost, and Bitter Frost. You are equipped with a Smartphone which allows you to view your tasks, etc. and there is an app on the phone to play an archaic driving game called Grave Racer, which also has an achievement tied to it for earning your current best score.
The Hidden Object Scenes have not changed much in the past nine games and will probably always stay the same. They aren't necessarily bad, just typical and predictable Interactive List finds with an interactive puzzle to solve, but there was also a Silhouetted Shape HOP offered in the demo The feature I loathe the most is that they always have a repeat HOP in the same scene.
The Mini Games are okay, some super simple, others a bit more frustrating. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Figure out the last 2 digits of the keypad by trial and error.
2) Recreate the symbols shown in the center by choosing two different shapes to combine.
3) Switch between cameras to find someone who has fallen asleep.
4) Arrange the colored balls so they match the pattern shown.
5) Use directional arrows to scan for a virus on a microscope.
6) Match identical x-rays.
7) Use a partial encrypted clue to figure out the pass code.
8) Restore the image by correctly placing puzzle pieces.
9) Rotate tumblers so the symbols match the clue you found.
10) Replace two parts to collect a circular puzzle piece.
11) Select correct combination to get the adrenaline serum.
12) Match all of the cards until only one remains.
13) Complete the image by connecting the dots.
This Collectors Edition has 15 replayable Mini Games, 20 replayable Hidden Object Scene, 10 Concept Art pictures, 10 Wallpapers, 7 Screensavers, 6 Music Soundtracks, 21 replayable Movies, 16 Achievements to earn 12 Collectibles, a built in Strategy Guide, and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Uncle Paul apparently doesn't want his job anymore, but who can blame him, after all, he was kidnapped by a book in the first episode. He has decided to retire and has left his not so ordinary Antique Shop in the capable hands of his niece Alexandra. Uncle Paul also handed over the reigns of "The Keeper" whose mission is to sustain peace and life, finding and storing artifacts that have supernatural properties. Andrea hasn't had time to make herself at home, however, because one such artifact has begun to wreak havoc, causing panic and chaos throughout the town. Creatures and even plants are taking over the city, with supernatural abilities, and nothing seems to be stopping them, it's as if they were creatures from another planet, or figments of a very twisted imagination!
This is the second game in this new series, and honestly, I think its time to go back to the drawing board, because neither game is memorable, neither game is worth purchasing. The Imaginary World is simply a middle of the road game with a lot of gimmicks thrown in to take your mind off the fact that the gameplay itself is mediocre at best. I will admit that I was mildly amused when I searched each scene for things I could interact with, flowers that go poof when I click on them, butterflies flutter into oblivion, and tree's briefly bloom with just the click of a mouse.
In this Collector's Edition version there are more than enough extra's to convince one to spend the extra moola over the Standard version. For starters there are the usual Achievements to earn, and each scene has a hidden Jigsaw Puzzle Piece and when you have found all of them you can assemble the puzzles and save the Memories of the Past pictures as a Screensaver. Each scene also has a Morphing Object, my favorite feature, and there are 34 Collectibles from different categories, Elemental's Vessels, Keepers' Figurines, Portal into the Imaginary World, Bob's Drawings, and Illusionist's Tools. I'm pretty sure they should have a category called Kitchen Sink because they have thrown in every other collectible but the kitchen sink. I love all these features, however, I just wish there was an option to choose that would prevent the cursor from turning into a pointer finger whenever you scan across one of the "hidden" collectible or morphs. I know that you can turn the cursor feature off entirely throughout the game, but I just want to turn off the cursor feature for locating the extra's.
The Hidden Object Scenes are usually multi-layered, starting off with interacting with a talking portrait, followed by finding Keywords in a sentence as he gives you the down low, and ending with a good old fashioned Listed item finds. There are also Silhouetted Shape finds, finding 4 items that fit into wax seals to open up the listed items, and several Zoom Zone HOP's where you are tasked with finding a handful of fragments located in the entire scene such as lamp fragments or torn picture fragments. There is an alternate game of Mahjong available for those who dislike HOP's.
The Mini Games are okay, nothing too difficult, nothing that stands out either. Below are brief description's of some of the game's you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Arrange the 9 center squares so they create the creature the creatures shown.
2) Set the car's route from start to finish, the route can't connect with any roads the monster could use to attack you.
3) Guide the submarine to the coral on the bottom, interacting with and using objects and creatures to remove obstacles along the path.
4) Move Alexandra and Bob through the labyrinth to the exits. The characters have to press 7 buttons to open the exits, and Bob moves in the opposite direction of Alexandra so their paths cannot cross.
This Collector's Edition has 9 Wallpapers, 11 Concept Art pictures, 3 Screensavers, 3 Music Soundtracks, 36 hidden Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces (to use as Screensavers) 36 Collectibles in 5 different categories, 33 Morphing Objects, 14 Keeper Tools, 18 Achievements to earn, a built in Strategy guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Poor Count Dracula, he never seems to catch a break, now he'll have to catch a monster if he wants enjoy some peace and quiet. Dracula's entire family have packed their bags, and moved into his castle, all because Dracula purchased HIM when he was just a boy, and now HE has escaped! The Count is forced to pack his bags, and hit the road to find the beast, or deal with the invasion of his very needy family, in his own castle!
Rufus the undead, has joined Dracula for the third time now, without him, it gets awfully quiet, with him, well, it's still pretty quiet because all he can say now is a moan of some sort, but he is a zombie after all. Dracula never realized this adventure would be so difficult, but he has many obstacles to overcome, swamps, weeds, logs, stones and crystals block his paths, and collecting food for his undead workers is a daunting task. Dracula's job isn't easy either, he has to deal with all kinds of people to get essential equipment, magic beans to plant, special tools to acquire, and gods to appease.
Just like most TM games, you will still need to build Sawmills, Stone Mines, and even Crystal Mines. My favorite is the food supply needed to feed the crew, the famous Blood Donalds, home of the very rare burger, fries with lot's of catsup and of course a large type AB negative drink. Some of the tasks require combining collected items, to receive a useful item such as a magnifying glass. There is a Lightning Bolt on the top right of the screen that allows you to complete this task by clicking on the ingredients once all supplies have been collected. As you progress, you will receive Bonuses to help you earn the three star, expert status in each level, such as freezing the Timer, Faster Workers, or Super Speeding the progress.
In the Collector's Edition there are several extra's which may make a big difference when deciding on which version to purchase. Each scene has a Collectible Figurine, and some of the scenes also have a wrapped Present which contain a collectible sticker, and there are also a handful of Pet Food Bags to find. I always look for the collectibles before I click on anything, which will automatically start the timer. There are 38 Trophies available in the CE version as well, which are achievements you earn for doing random things such as not clicking on anything for 15 seconds. I usually read over the Trophy requirements before playing a new game to see what needs to be done differently in order to earn a Trophy.
The Collector's Edition has 38 Trophy Achievements to earn, 8 Wallpapers, 5 Concept Art pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 11 Stories to read, 30 collectible Presents with Stickers, 5 collectible Pet Food Bags, 60 collectible Figurines (one in each scene) an available built in Strategy Guide and a few Bonus Levels. This is only the third game offered in this fairly new series, but it is by far my favorite Time Management game. I love the graphics, I love the storylines, most of all, I love the humor, enjoy!

This is a brick breaking type of Match 3 game requiring you to shoot a stone tile at identical tiles on the board to make matches of at least 3 tiles to destroy them, until all stone tiles have been destroyed. If you fail to make a match, more stone tiles are added at the top, which pushes the tiles towards the bottom of the screen, if the stones reach the bottom, you will lose. Try to destroy the stones in as few moves as possible, the more moves you make, the less you will earn.
You can play in Easy Mode which which allows you to replay any level, but there is No timer, so you have all the time in the world to strategize your next move. You can earn up to 3 stars per level, and there is a meter on the right side of the screen to show your star progress. You have 3 available tile markers located at the top left of the screen, if there are no available matches when you place your stone, a marker will be removed. If all 3 markers are used up by not making matches, more stones will appear at the top, which causes the current stones to drop towards the bottom, if they reach the bottom of the screen, it's game over.
As you progress, the boards become more difficult as new stones are introduced, as well as obstacles. Chains require a couple of matches next to them, but Weeds require matches made above them. Eventually you will earn bonuses that help you such as the Rainbow. The Rainbow is used to paint a highlighted group of tiles all the same color so that a match will take out an entire group. More bonuses are eventually unlocked but in the demo, the Rainbow is the only bonus you'll receive.
This game combines the features of a Match 3 game and the features of a Marble Shooting game, where you click the right mouse button to choose the color of stone and the left mouse button to fire the stone at identical stone on the board to make matches of at least three or more stones. With the money you earn, you will purchase various flowers to restore the garden in hopes of breaking the curse that prevents two young heirs from being married, enjoy!

Witches' Legacy used to be one of my favorite series, I loved following the story of Lynne and Edward, the good witch who fell in love with the witch hunter. Her entire family was murdered by the evil witch who wanted Lynne to use black magic and join the remaining witches of the "dark side" she even turned the family dog into a hideous Imp! Then one morning I woke up to find that an entirely different family had been introduced, and I just couldn't get into the new Sander's family saga.
Witches' Legacy is now all about the Sanders' family, Julia and her children, Nicky and Jack. Bertha is an unofficial family member who dabbled in magic, and found a spell that gave her the ability to change into a ferret. Jack is a scientist, and a non-believer, until he came face to face with the evil witch Cassandra, who cast an aging spell on him and his mother, after taking over his sister Nicky's body. In the last episode, Jack's girlfriend, Anabel was tricked into entering the sacred city to take a staff that could only be retrieved by a good witch. This was a nefarious plan concocted by the last remaining dark witches who called upon the Ice Sorcerers twins, Mara and Marcus, as a last ditch effort to destroy all that is good.
Fast forwarding to this edition, Julia Sanders has decided to write a new book about her mother, Beatrice. She had very little information to go by, so she travels to her mother's hometown of Sallenville. Grandma Beatrice's last memory of Sallenville, was as a young girl saying a tearful goodbye to her father who remained in the city that burned to the ground. After several attempts to contact their mother, Jack and Nicky become concerned, so Jack heads to Sallenville in search for her. While searching for his mother, Jack discovers some very interesting facts about his Great Grandfather, Hector, a witch hunter who may have paid dearly for hunting a very revengful witch!
There aren't a whole lot of witches in this edition of Witches' Legacy, it's more or less just a story about the Sanders' family and why they are significant to witches. I must admit, that I hated the last game, the bizarre graphics and weird storyline were just too much for me to enjoy, because I just wanted the story to be about Lynne and Edward, not Yeti's that need a haircut! Something about this game, however, piqued my interest, perhaps because this game was more of a background story, and I was able to learn more about the Sanders' family.
In the Collector's Edition version, there are 34 Morphing Objects and 36 hidden Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces that will give you more information about the characters and allows you to assemble 4 different Jigsaw Puzzles and use them as Wallpapers. There are also the usual Achievements to earn, and a built in Strategy Guide, also available in the CE version.
The Hidden Object Scenes are multi-layered with at least two different types in each scene, which is actually the norm in this series. There are Interactive List Finds, Keywords in a sentence finds, objects to find which when placed on the inventory bar will open up the list, or the list opens to expose useful items to interact with in the scene. Most of the HOP's have a small puzzle to solve, and there's an alternate Matching game to play if you're not into the HOP's. There are also the familiar Zoom Zone mini HOP's where you must find 6 fragments that are located within the entire current location such as 6 shoes, or 6 fire spirits.
The Mini Games are all doable, some are really easy, but most are of normal difficulty. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Select the dangerous roots to step on, in a whack-a-mole type of game.
2) Swap puzzle tiles to restore the image on a jewelry box lid.
3) Use items located on the sides to help Hector navigate through the boarding house rooms to save the girls.
4) Rotate tiles to complete a path from the top left to the bottom right.
5) Arrange lenses to reflect the light beams to the bottom.
6) Place the gears onto their matching Silhouetted Shapes.
7) There are several ingredients to find for each recipe inside of Jack's Chemist Kit.
The collector's Edition has 9 Wallpapers, 12 Concept Art pictures, 3 Screensavers, 3 Music Soundtracks, 11 Achievements, 34 Morphing Objects, 36 Hidden Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces, 4 Jigsaw Puzzles to assemble with the Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces and save as Wallpapers, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Adventure, enjoy!

According to BF, the hand drawn graphics will blow my mind, it didn't. The graphics are pretty basic with little detail, but perhaps the mind blowing graphics will make an appearance later in the game. The characters weren't bad, but then again, the graphics aren't detailed enough and they only make brief appearances, not to mention the fact that their lips don't move at all when they are speaking. The main character, Sam, sounds like she's reading a child's book
Samantha Robinson was expecting her father to return from an archaeological dig in India for her 18th birthday. Instead she gets a package in the mail from her father who tells her she must come to India because only she can retrieve a 5000 year old treasure. Then it's off to India she goes, and even though her father the expert was just here, she was the only one who noticed a secret cache in a large tree that gave her a Copper Plate. The Copper Plate then gets filled with 13 powers, which are basically deities that offer to tag along, inside the copper plate of course????
There are Hidden Object Scenes, but they are all just basic listed items or multiples of the same items, however, many of the objects are unrecognizable due to the mind blowing graphics. This was one of the few times I wished I could skip the HOP's.
There are also a handful of Mini Games, all of which are doable on the first try such as lining up 9 planets, but the bottom 3-4 planets may move the other bottom few only planets, and only slightly so it's easily corrected.
Dad is going to have to rely solely upon Samantha to help him escape the mess he's gotten himself into, because there's no way I'd pay for this game OR waste a valuable coupon on!
from"I needed to take the bracelet to your father but I couldn't"...why couldn't you, and if you didn't take the bracelet, how'd you know there was an explosion??

I absolutely loved the first game in this new series, Ring of Destiny, which was a fantasy game featuring dragons and other mythological creatures. Lethal Predictions however seems to do a 180, taking place in modern day, where everything is realistic, until you discover a magical bracelet that allows you to see things no one else is able to see. I would have been super excited if this had been a game about dragons (without the princesses) but I will admit that the storyline is different, and although it's not even close to being a logical game, it's really not that bad. The game is a bit heavy on the blues and purples, so hopefully the devs will tweak the color hues on game number three.
As I stated earlier, this game is heavy on the blurple graphics, and very light on logic. Sarah is a journalist who becomes frustrated with the police who seem to be clueless that their city has been plagued with an unusually high amount of strange, unrelated accidental deaths. Sarah decides to begin an investigation of her own, and her father Jacob lends a hand. Shortly after the introduction, logic gets tossed out of the window, the family dog Uni, is lying in her dog bed cuddling with an item you supposedly need. You then toss a ball to her which magically opens a small purse, and the only thing that spills out is a pair of scissors that you just so happen to need to open her bag of dog food. After filling her bowl with the food, she emerges from her bed which magically exposes an enormous pile of junk you must sift through HOP style, Uni obviously has a hoarding problem! The next thing you know, an explosion occurs that lands the three of them in the hospital How Uni got to the hospital is one thing, WHY Uni went to the hospital is the bigger question, and I'm pretty sure this is unsanitary. Sarah wakes up, (apparently lab work can determine everything) dad's still snoozing, Uni's got all the time in the world, she'll just wait for dad on the unused bed. To leave the hospital, Sarah must use dad's keycard!? This is the same keycard that dad uses to gain access to his office!? Security for both buildings is worthless if any keycard works on any door, did I miss something here? The illogical tasks continue throughout the demo, I actually want to continue the game just for the comedy it presents.
The Collector's Edition bling isn't all that exciting either, other than the typical Achievements to earn and replayable puzzles, the only collectibles are 44 opaque hidden Masks. The masks are actually hidden quite well because they are opaque, they blend very well into the scenery.
The Hidden Object Scenes aren't very impressive either. Most HOP's are Interactive List finds, one of which give you a fragment with each object found that completes a picture and gives you a brief synopsis of the story.
The Mini Games are pretty easy to figure out, below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Set the pressure gauge to 7 by pressing valves to adjust the pressure.
2) Examine each folder and determine which cause of death symbol to match it with.
3) Choose directional arrows to follow phone direction paths to take.
4) Match pairs of symbols by flipping over two sections at a time, sections shuffle with every wrong selection.
5) Enter the correct code according to the clue, select the numbers below the flowers to change them.
6) Jump over the faces until only one remains, only different faces can jump over each other. There are 3 different levels that increase in difficulty.
This Collector's Edition has 18 replayable Mini Games, 11 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 4 Screensavers, 6 Concept Art pictures, 6 Wallpapers, 4 Music Soundtracks, 12 Achievements to earn, 24 replayable Movies, 44 collectible Masks, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Easter Island is one of Earth's most remotely inhabited islands, the nearest civilization is over 2000 miles away. When the Polynesians arrived in about AD 400, they dedicated their lives, carving the Moai, giant 14 ton megalithic statues to stand guard diligently along the perimeters of the island. Even to this day, no one knows how this civilization was able to carve so many statues of such epic proportions, not to mention the fact that the stone used to construct the Moai cannot be found on the island. They somehow managed to import the stone from a nearby island, and experts believe the Moai were transported to their final resting place, using large logs to roll them. This theory is also controversial, because Easter Island has no trees, perhaps it's because they were all used tor this purpose, or they were imported along with the stone. Eventually, the civilization dwindled to extinction, because of the Island's lack of resources, this information has nothing to do with this games storyline other than the fact that it takes place on Easter Island, I just thought I'd share some of my useless information, in case you find the mysteries of Easter Island as interesting as I do, and perhaps you can share some interesting facts as well :) As for the game review, that's in the next few paragraphs:
Atakhter the Golem God has escaped his volcanic prison and is steaming mad! The Head Seeker, Takh Taash has sent her finest recruit to search the worlds for other Seekers to aid in the defeat of the stone giant. Until now, you had no idea you possessed the powers only a Seeker can obtain, no wonder you're such a great MI6 agent! Looks like Easter Island wasn't the perfect vacation destination after all, because those peaceful Moai statues now have laser eyeballs, and are destroying anything and everything that moves! You'll have to learn your Seeker abilities on the fly, because this walking volcano is angry, and wants to destroy the world, on your watch!
Labyrinths of the World is a series that often fly's under the radar, the games offered are usually quite good, but for whatever reason, they often go unnoticed sitting next to the bigger, well known series games. Secrets of Easter Island isn't necessarily a new storyline, but it does take place on Easter Island, which is a new location twist, The last game took place at Stonehenge, so I'm loving this devs Ancient Alien vibe lately. The Collector's Edition version has several Achievements to earn, 20 Morphing Mythological Creatures, 20 Ancient Artifacts, and 22 Statuettes to collect throughout the game. There are 63 collectible Crystal Flowers to find which allow you to purchase items to decorate your Garden House, a feature I'm personally not into, I just don't get it. There are Icons located on top of the Inventory Bar that indicate which collectable is available in each scene, but just in the CE version.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied, with finding Keywords in a Sentence etc, but for the most part, they are Interactive List finds. Most of the HOP's offer a small interactive puzzle to solve, and there is an alternate Match 3 game to play if you're not into HOP's.
The Mini Games are numerous and entertaining, and most of the puzzles give you the option to play the game in either an Easy of Hard mode which is a feature I really like. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Arrange the color coded notes according to the drawing, moving one note may affect another.
2) Guide footprints from one arrow to the next, hiding in bushes and avoiding obstacles.
3) Create a path for the rope to pass through every carabiner, while avoiding obstacles.
4) Restore the picture by swapping triangle puzzle pieces.
5) Rotate circular tokens to recreate the image, selecting one token to rotate may affect others.
6) Drag glass shards to reassemble the broken glass pane.
7) Press the same symbols as shown on the highlighted instructions.
8) Recreate the path shown on the capsule activator by swapping tiles.
9) Put the triangles on the matching color sections, press the center to rotate the triangles.
10) Restore the picture by swapping two parts on the same circular track.
