Wow, they actually thought of another "holiday" to rehash the same features! There is nothing new, exciting, or different than all of the other holiday themed puzzles offered by this dev. Every feature is the same down to the same music, which I can't understand why they don't at least give you a couple of different options. Another feature I don't understand, is why you can't set the finished pictures as wallpapers, it seems like it would be an easy tweak.
My favorite "go to" jigsaw puzzle is Jigsaw Mania which has so many features it's mind-boggling. You get to choose puzzles from so many different genres such as Buildings, Scenery, Nature, Animals, Plants and even puzzle pictures from Asia, Africa, North and South America etc. you can even download more internet puzzles or choose one of your own photos! You can set the puzzles as wallpapers or e-mail them to another jigsaw geek, you can even choose music from your own library. Best of all, there are tons of different shapes you can choose for every puzzle, my personal favorite is Squares, which for me is more challenging as you have to go by the color of each tiny pixel square rather than shape.
This Jigsaw has 100 puzzles in each of the 5 categories dedicated to women, Fashion, Family, Hobbies, Nature and Cuisine, the only category that actually appeals to me is the Nature category. You can choose from four different background colors, Blue, Green, Pink and White, and any puzzle can be modified for the amount of puzzle pieces you want as well as the shape of the pieces and whether or not you want the pieces to rotate. You can Ghost a picture image or have a pictured displayed, and there i a box to store extra pieces. There are options to show just the Border pieces, or Sort the pieces, and you can use a Magnifying Glass or the Hint feature if you get stuck.
Personally, I don't like most of the pictures offered in this version, but it's not a bad jigsaw game if the categories appeal to you.
I don't recommend this game.

Take it from me folks, this is a really fun Match 3 game the entire family can enjoy. Atlantic's favorite heroes have returned to rebuild an underwater oasis, which can be played in all three types of Match 3 games. You can even switch back and forth between the traditional Swap Match 3, Chain or Group Match 3 where you click and drag horizontally, vertically and diagonally, or click on groups of 3 or more identical tiles.
The goal is to make matches over all Sand covered tiles and heal all fish that are inside bubbles by matching those tiles. You can earn up to 3 stars depending on the time it takes you to complete the level goals. You earn pearls for each level that is used to purchase new houses, Fisherman's Huts, Forges and even Farms. Some of the buildings you purchased have a Mini Game available when you click on them such as locating 10 hidden fish, or finding fragments to assemble a power-up bonus.
Some sand tiles are covered in Moss, requiring two matches on them, and as you progress, there are Oil filled tiles and Lava tiles that will spread or multiply if you don't make matches on them quickly. There are the usual obstructed tiles with Chains, Stones, and Crates, which require matches made next to them or matches made of the same item trapped inside.
When you make a match of 4 or more Tentacles, you will earn an Octopus Bomb which will explode when clicked, to destroy surrounding tiles. Other power-ups are unlocked when you collect their symbols by dropping them off of the board. The Hammerhead can destroy a single tile of your choice, the Bow shoots an arrow to destroy an entire row, Blowfish Bombs destroy all tiles in a square area, and the Laser Gun shoots lightning bolts to destroy random tiles.
Fish in Bubbles are replaced occasionally wit Hard Cases that need special elements to heal them by matching 4 objects inside orange bubbles, Zombie Fish are aggressive fish that will need to be released quickly or they will pollute the water, and then there are the Major Problem Fish that require several Match 4's to heal them.
This is one of those games that you'll want to play over and over, and with 96 available levels, it should be a decent length, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

What a cool twist on Griddler Mosaic games! You can play in a Casual, Normal or Expert difficulty mode, or you can customize the difficulty mode by choosing if you want to play in a timed mode, if you want bonus points as a time bonus, whether you want numbers crossed off one by one or only when the entire row has been completed, and you can set the number of mistakes allowed from 1-5 and how long it takes for the hint feature to recharge from 10-120 seconds. You can then choose to play the Traditional (multicolored) Mosaic Griddler games, or you can pick a level that offers 3 different features.
Mystery Lands will fill in cells in a unique way, that create a scene such as a pond with a swimming turtle, a grassy area and even beautiful flowers.
Labyrinth will form a maze where a ball is moved from point A to point B as tiles are filled in.
Rome type grids are the same as the Multicolored type levels, but the numbers on the columns and rows are Roman Numerals, which could prove to be a bit of a challenge with larger numbers.
Looks like this Monday is turning out to be a good start to the workweek with two excellent games offered, enjoy!

Artifex Mundi has unveiled a fantastic game, what a way to start the week, a Mundi Monday! These devs have introduced some of my favorite HOPA game series, Nightmares from the Deep, Enigmatis, 9 Clues and Grim Legends. Releasing a decent Standard version on a Monday has me super excited, and I cannot wait to dive into Lost Grimoires after work today. The graphics are beautifully hand drawn, the characters are lifelike and detailed, and best of all, it seems to flow logically without seeming odd or bizarre. I did recognize a couple of voices however, from the game Enigmatis because it's a very distinct voice, you'll know exactly who I'm referring to if you've ever played Enigmatis. There aren't any collectibles, morphs or achievements that I have noticed so far, but I'll take a decent adventure game at a standard price, any day of the week!
The storyline isn't really new, and yes, it does involve more cloaked, mysterious, masked men, and Alchemy recipes, but I'm okay with that, because in this case, it doesn't come across as cartoonish and silly. You play the part of a young Alchemist returning home after 5 years of Alchemy courses, to find your past, life changing events, may have more to do with your future than you ever imagined. Yesterday's memories aren't always crystal clear, and moving forward mat be more difficult than you ever imagined.
The Hidden Object Scenes are pretty creative, in most games, I find myself mindlessly clicking objects without giving much thought to the puzzle because the items are so obvious, that you know what to click without even looking at the list, or you know exactly what object to pick up and use to combine an interaction. I loved the HOS in this game that requires you to find an item, or interact with an item that matches the object related to a riddle. There were a few items that actually stumped me for a few minutes, and I enjoyed the challenge.
The Mini Games are decent but tend to be easily solved. Personally, I'd rather solve an easy puzzle that's fun, any day rather than play a difficult and frustrating game. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Rotate the clock disks in order to set each gem to the same color.
2) Each time you transmute a new Alchemy recipe, you will solve a puzzle that becomes increasingly more difficult to solve. You must rotate gems on three interconnected circles until the colored gems replicate the pattern shown.
3) Press the tiles with fingerprints in the same order as demonstrated.
4) Drag pillows into position so that they all fit, pillows can be rotated.
5) Decipher the note by finding the proper combination of goggle lenses.
Get those nearly expired coupon ready, because you finally get to use them on a decent Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure, if you don't have a coupon, you're still going to want this game. It's a good game at a really good price, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

When I first played the demo of this game in the Collector's Edition, I wasn't all that impressed, and I only gave the game a 3 star rating. I decided to purchase the CE during a BOGO sale because it was free, why not. I will be honest with you, I haven't completed the entire game yet because I haven't had enough free time lately, but the game is actually picking up speed, and I'm enjoying it. Most of the time, I will buy a game after playing an awesome demo, and after a chapter or two, the game just loses momentum, sometimes it's as if the devs figured out a really interesting beginning, and an epic ending, but don't quite know what to do with the meat of the story in the middle, but this game seems to be doing a decent job with the plot.
Initially, I was disappointed because I absolutely loved Edge of Reality: Ring of Destiny, because it was a fantasy game featuring dragons and other mythological creatures. Lethal Predictions however, takes place in modern day, where everything is realistic, until you discover a magical bracelet that allows you to see things no one else is able to see. I was hoping this game was about dragons too (without the princesses) but at least the storyline is different than most games
Sarah is a journalist who becomes frustrated with the police who seem to be clueless that their city has been plagued with an unusually high amount of strange, unrelated accidental deaths. Sarah decides to begin an investigation of her own, and her father Jacob lends a hand. Shortly after the introduction, logic gets tossed out of the window, the family dog Uni, (my dog's name is Uno, so that's kind of cool) is lying in her dog bed cuddling with an item you supposedly need. You then toss a ball to her which magically opens a small purse, and the only thing that spills out is a pair of scissors that you just so happen to need to open her bag of dog food. After filling her bowl with the food, she emerges from her bed which magically exposes an enormous pile of junk you must sift through HOP style, Uni obviously has a hoarding problem! The next thing you know, an explosion occurs that lands the three of them in the hospital How Uni got to the hospital is one thing, WHY Uni went to the hospital is the bigger question, and I'm pretty sure this is unsanitary. Sarah wakes up, (apparently her lab work was able to determine that she had no medical problems whatsoever) dad's still snoozing, Uni's got all the time in the world, she'll just wait for dad on the unused bed. To leave the hospital, Sarah must use dad's keycard!? This is the same keycard that dad uses to gain access to his office!? Security for both buildings is worthless if any keycard works on any door, did I miss something here?
In the Collector's Edition version, there are the typical Achievements to earn and replayable puzzles, but the only collectibles are 44 opaque hidden Masks. In my opinion, the masks are actually hidden quite well because they are opaque, they blend very well into the scenery.
Most of the Hidden Object Scenes are Interactive List finds, one of which gives you a fragment with each object found that completes a picture and gives you a brief synopsis of the story.
The Mini Games are pretty easy to figure out, below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Set the pressure gauge to 7 by pressing valves to adjust the pressure.
2) Examine each folder and determine which cause of death symbol to match it with.
3) Choose directional arrows to follow phone direction paths to take.
4) Match pairs of symbols by flipping over two sections at a time, sections shuffle with every wrong selection.
5) Enter the correct code according to the clue, select the numbers below the flowers to change them.
6) Jump over the faces until only one remains, only different faces can jump over each other. There are 3 different levels that increase in difficulty.
The Collector's Edition has 18 replayable Mini Games, 11 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 4 Screensavers, 6 Concept Art pictures, 6 Wallpapers, 4 Music Soundtracks, 12 Achievements to earn, 24 replayable Movies, 44 collectible Masks, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

My least favorite type of Match 3 game is exactly what this Match 3 game is all about. This is where you click and drag a line vertically and horizontally to form a chain of as many identical gems as possible. To make matters worse, this game doesn't allow you to continue the chain in a diagonal direction, which make this game even less fun. My next least favorite feature is a Limited Moves Match 3, again, most levels in this game require you to match specific numbers of each colored gem within a specific number of moves. Needless to say, this Match 3 has little to offer me because it is a Chain type M3 within Limited Moves. For those of you who may like these features, here's what I found within the demo:
The game warns you at the beginning that there is a seizure possibility, so please be careful.
Each level has a different goal, most goals are obtaining specific quantities of specific gems as shown. The only feature I found to be challenging was with the introduction of the "pink zone" Only gems that are matched inside of the pink zone count towards the goals.
Some gems have a Magic Square around them, if included within a match, it turns into a Bomb, some of which are directional. The larger the match is, the larger the explosion is. Bombs can be detonated by either a single click or once they are included within a match.
Boosters will be unlocked as you progress, and you get to choose up to three boosters before the start of each level. Boosters include Missiles, Grenades, and Torpedoes of increasingly larger sizes. The Boosters can then be activated during the level in which chosen.
After each Match 3 level, a screen will pop up that is filled with several question mark icons. You get to select several icons of your choice, to reveal your reward. The amount of icons you get to choose, depends on the previous levels score, from what I can tell, but it's really anybody's guess. Some have coins of various amounts, others have specific amounts of Diamonds.
Coins and Diamonds can be used to purchase items in the Shop which allows you to purchase the booster weapons. Some items can only be purchased with the elusive Diamonds, but you are able to purchase Diamonds for your coins once you have earned enough.
I don't recommend this game.

Ya just gotta love these 3 average Joe's from another galaxy, and their not so average adventures. Gizmos Nonograms are one of the better griddler games available. My personal favorites are Fantasy Mosaics, Rainbow Mosaics and of course, Gizmos Mosaics. I absolutely hate the cookie cutter griddlers that are offered with every holiday imaginable because they are exactly the same, over and over, they can't even be solved without using a hint or guessing! But not true in his game, in fact, it seems that new features are added with every new game!
There are a couple of features that stand out in this game that I don't remember being available in the last edition. You can toggle between multi-colored cells, or monochrome colors, and you can toggle between a Relaxed mode or a Timed mode. In the timed mode, you can qualify for either Bronze, Silver, Gold or Developer's time awards depending on the amount of time it takes you to complete the puzzle, and you receive a medal for making no mistakes and using no hints. There are customizable settings for full or widescreen modes, and you can disable the voice encouragements, and background images as well. You can also choose to automatically fill in blank cells for you.
There are 27 achievements to earn such as no misclicks, no hints used, perfect time, playing for 5 and even 10 hours as well as earning bronze, silver or gold trophies. Each game allows for 6 mistakes and each cell you correctly fill will also fill up 4 energy vessels that can be used as hints to fill in several random cells. Nonogram grids consist of cells that can be filled in or left blank to solve the puzzle. The numbers along the side and top of the grids indicate the number of filled-in cells in each row and column. You fill in cells with the left mouse button and cross out cells using the right mouse buttons, every filled cell will be divided with an empty cell.
If you are new to this type of puzzle game, I would recommend trying out one of the Fantasy Mosaic games first, because I think those griddler games are less complicated with simpler graphics. Either way, this is still an excellent game, but fair warning, Nonograms are extremely addictive, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

When Stacy Gray decided to research her family's lineage, she discovered information that led her to a small town named Graywitch. One of her ancestor's, Victor Gray had lived there once, but he wasn't exactly a welcomed resident. He was a well known scientist that angered many people when he created a monster, by resurrecting his wife from the dead! When Anna Gray learns that Stacy performed a ritual that turns back the hands of time, she fears for Stacy's life. It soon becomes abundantly clear that Victor's monster holds a very deadly grudge, and Stacy and Anna might both be in danger now!
Graywitch is an excellent game, however, it just doesn't have that Grim Tales vibe. Recently I have been playing back to back episodes of this series from the beginning so the game aspects are fairly fresh in my mind. The graphics are good in this edition, but they aren't as good as they have been in the past, and there's a certain disconnect with Anna and the Gray family in this episode.
Victor's wife isn't the only half dead half alive, monster in the room, good ole dad has returned to assist, I think he works similar to a genie, you just rub his skull that you have to lug around at all times, and poof! Richard somehow manages to have an entire inventory available at all times, he always seems to have just the right items at just the right time. (where does he get this stuff from in the first place?) In the Collector's Edition version there are several not so hidden and often quite large Jigsaw Puzzle pieces to collect which allows you to assemble and use 3 different Screensavers, and each scene has a Morphing Object, which are actually somewhat of a challenge because they are fairly well blended and the cursor doesn't change to shout "here I am" The CE version also offers the typical Achievements to earn and some of the scenes have hidden Dolls which also gives you a brief description about it's owner.
The Hidden Object Scenes are typical and the variations are offered in almost all of the games in this series. There are Keywords to find in sentences, Matching Pair finds, Multiple finds, Silhouetted Shape finds and the traditional, find 4 color coded items to fit into it's matching slot on the inventory bar to open up a Listed inventory list. There are also a few Zoom Zone HOP's where you are tasked with finding just a handful of items.
The Mini Games seem a bit simplistic in this game as compared to most Grim Tales games, but by no means worthless, because most are fun to solve. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Arrange the skeleton to match the image shown by moving arm and leg positions.
2) Insert letters into the typewriter in the correct order to spell the word shown.
3) Find and select the symbols in the scene that match the symbols shown at the bottom.
4) Click to select the bar when it is between each set of red lines.
5) Use directional arrows to choose the correct clothes based on the silhouette.
6) Arrange the smaller dials so their borders form a perfect circle in the center.
7) Use the hint to enter the correct safe code.
8( Choose the correct font size and color based on the clue by selecting letter buttons and arrows to toggle through the different options.
The Collector's Edition has 19 Achievements to earn, a Secret Room, an Archive section, 8 Wallpapers, 8 Concept Art pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, hidden Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces which can be assembled to use as 3 different Screensavers, a Morphing Object in each scene, 13 collectible Dolls with descriptions, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Guitarist, Mike Valance has returned to his hometown to perform in a rock 'n roll concert that will go down in history! As soon as the curtains are drawn, Mike is attacked by an angry deranged man, who challenges him to a duel, of guitars that is. Mike accepts Adam's challenge, and the audience gets treated to a life changing jamming session performance! Quite literally, because Adam has put a voodoo curse upon Mike, who is now Adam, and Adam is now Mike! This supernatural body snatching scenario gets even more complicated for Mike, when he discovers that Adam is a wanted man, for murder! Mike's only saving grace, comes from an unlikely source, and he only has a mere 12 hours to reverse the curse!
I like the storyline Cadenza has chosen, but I'm not impressed with the graphics in the least bit, and at times the gameplay seems monotonous and tedious. The graphics were fantastic in the first Cadenza game, the graphics were sharp, crisp and colorful, and the details just popped with impressiveness. Since then, it's been downhill, and in my opinion, the graphics in this installment are as basic as it gets, there's very little detail, and the colors just don't pop. Think back with the Kiss of Death, a game that incorporated all the sights and sounds of New Orleans nightlife which completely immersed you into the adventure, this game simply doesn't do that for you. This is a good game, but it's "just another game" there's just nothing special about any of it. As far as Collector's Edition's go, this one doesn't have much to offer, other than the staple extras of achievements, concept art and wallpapers, there are only two types of collectibles, each scene has Hidden Vinyl Records and eventually you will collect Characters with bios, both are just average features.
The Hidden Object Scenes aren't the same as the one's offered previously in the Cadenza series, but in this CE version, they still offer a Morphing Objects in each HOP. Most are multi-layered with Interactive List finds, Replacing items back in the scene, and Silhouetted Shape finds. Some items have puzzle fragments behind the items you find and small puzzles to solve within.
The Mini Games are decent, but tend to be on the easy breezy side with little challenge. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Connect the dots to draw the shape Adam plays on the guitar, without passing the same line twice, with three different shapes total.
2) Rearrange the tiles to complete the symbol.
3) Rearrange the fins on the rocket to match the colors shown.
4) Rearrange the items so that they match the timeline written on the list.
5) Select the interactions of the strings to complete the code according to the clue shown.
6) Slide the gems and move the metal combs so the matching pair of stones are aligned vertica;;y.
7) Place the strings in the correct order according to the music Sheet.
This Collector's Edition has 9 Achievements to earn, 26 Wallpapers, 16 Concept Art pictures, 13 Music Soundtracks, Character Bios, 38 Hidden Vinyl Record Albums, 34 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, a Record Hunt game, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

When I looked at the picture shown above for this "new" release, I thought, not only are the graphics going to be fantastic, but the picture also gave me the impression that this game would have a really cool alien theme. I didn't play the entire demo, it was just too painful, but you play the part of Agent Clarice, on her first assignment investigating the murder of Agent X whose body was discovered at Stonehenge.
Prepare yourself for a lot of meaningless reading, as you click your way through what seems like hundreds of dialog boxes, there are no voiceovers. Basically, you click on the Puzzle Piece Icons scattered about each scene, and the countdown begins, 3-2-1 and voila, the Hidden Object Scene opens up with several listed items to find. You are awarded points for each item you find, the quicker you find them, the more points you'll earn. Many of the objects are difficult to find because they are either unrecognizable, or the names of the objects are poorly translated, and the graphics within the HOS didn't even come close to the detailed crispness that the picture shows. I still have no idea what a "spanner" actually was, and why a highlighter pen looked like a tennis ball. Once you have found all of the items on the list, your score is tallied up, I received 50 bonus points, but there was no explanation as to why I had received the bonus.
After just about every 3-2-1 Hidden Object Scene, you get to play a Puzzle or Mini Game, but don't let that fool you either! These are the most basic, simplistic puzzles anyone could imagine. The first puzzle requires you to drag 4 tumblers to replicate a password, the only challenge here was that some of the numbers were partially scratched, but each tumbler is in numerical order from 0 to 9, so if you can count to 9, you'll have this game in the bag! After a very challenging mini game, it's back to the next 3-2-1 Hidden Object Scene, at this point, I clicked the E-X-I-T icon followed by D-E-L-E-T-E button!
I don't recommend this game.
