In the first edition of Gnomes Garden, the Gnome Princess was tasked with restoring the Royal Garden and curing the King's illness. In Gnomes Garden 2, the evil Troll Queen kidnapped the Princess, fortunately she was rescued and eventually became friends with the Troll Queen. In the third episode, a Warlock took over the Monarch's Castle and he too was eventually defeated. The castle has been restored to its former glory, but the lands surrounding the kingdom are desolate, and no crops will take root. The Princess must embark on another journey, to land of the elves, in hope of obtaining the Green Recipe from the Elven Queen (in exchange for crystals mined by the Gnomes of course)
This is one of my favorite Time Management series, which tends to be a tad bit easier than most. There are the normal tasks such as, gathering resources, clearing paths and building Farms, Sawmills, Quarries and Crystal Mines. Other tasks include restoring trees, planting magical seeds and building a Fireman's house so he can water the seeds.
Each level has different tasks to achieve such as repairing and upgrading various buildings and bridges, stockpiling resources, repairing beehives so angry bees will return home, or even waking sleeping giants blocking your path. You can even exchange goods at the local market.
I didn't see an option to play this game in a relaxed mode, but Gnomes Garden doesn't require a whole lot of strategy to earn 3 stars like some TM games. It's a pretty straight forward game, great for beginners, but interesting enough for hardcore TM gamers, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I was totally surprised to see that Eventide was released as a Standard Edition! The first Eventide was released as a Collector's Edition, and even though this game isn't a Collector's Edition, it does offer several features that usually aren't offered in a Standard version. There are 14 Cards with Imps, and 20 Glimmering Mirrors to collect as well as Achievements to earn in several different categories. I have several punch card coupons, so I used a coupon without hesitation. This game is just what the doctor ordered, and I'm not disappointed in the least bit!
This isn't a bad game at all, especially if you compare apples to apples, so for a Standard Edition price, it's well worth it. The graphics are a bit cartoonish, especially some of the characters, but the storyline is decent, and some of the features are really good. You have a journal that has the usual objectives section, and you have a Herbarium section that can be used as a picture reference during the HO's (which I'll explain in the next paragraph) and you have a section that lists your "Moral Choices" During the game, you will be given the chance to make several moral decisions, and the decisions you make WILL affect the ending of the game. To me, this is a cool feature, this option has been used before, but usually they are generic questions and answers that don't really change the outcome.
The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly FROG's, where you find several fragments that will fit together and form a useful inventory item. The other Hidden Object Scenes require finding multiples of different herbs, berries, mushrooms etc. and you can refer to your journal Herbarium for pictures to help you identify them.
The Mini Games are fairly easy, and there's not really anything new, but they aren't that bad. Below are brief descriptions of some of the Mini Games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Use gloves to drag thorny branches away one at a time.
2) Click on objects indicated as keywords in a sentence.
3) Connect identical symbols with an uninterrupted chain in three different puzzles.
There are 17 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 25 replayable Mini Games, 7 Wallpapers, 12 Concept Art pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 14 Cutscenes, 24 collectible Notes, 20 Glimmering Mirrors, 14 Cards with Imps to collect, 5 HOP related Achievements, 3 Mini Game related Achievements, 12 game related Achievements, 7 Speciality Achievements to earn, choose well and enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Rainbow Mosaics has done it again! Almost all other Mosaic Griddler games are worthless compared to this fantastic series. They even have a storyline that unfolds as you progress, and this legend unfolds in Asia when Yoichi, a young hunter falls in love with a beautiful "foxy" lady. Yoichi has fallen in love with a supernatural creature who possesses many powers, one of which is the ability to shapeshift! Nonetheless, Yoichi has fallen in love with Kitsune.
One of my favorite features in Rainbow Mosaics is that you can choose from 7 different tile sets, my personal favorite is the lego style. You can also choose to play in Expert mode which only crosses off the numbers once the entire row or column has been correctly filled in, AND the powerups are disabled. There are 120 levels, and as you play each level, they will be available in the Freeplay section. As you correctly fill in squares, you will earn coins that can be used to decorate the Trophy Room or purchase upgrades for the Powerups which are hint forms that will increase in the size of coverage with each upgrade.
The Eye Powerup will reveal the status of a random tile, the Hammer Powerup will allow you to choose which tile to reveal, and the Grid Powerup opens up a chosen area, all of which will not result in a penalty. Each time you upgrade a powerup, it increases the number of tiles it affects, and each powerup will show an example of it's current coverage.
For those of you who have never played this type of game before, don't let it intimidate you. When I first started playing games I passed them by because they looked so complicated but they really aren't, and they are extremely addicting, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I didn't get the chance to play the original Ricky Raccoon because it just wouldn't work on my computer for whatever reason. I thought that this game was a Match 3 game intended for kids, but it has unique features, many of which are quite challenging. I'm definately using a coupon for this game, that offers two modes of difficulty, Timed and Relaxed.
Ricky need to make money to buy 5 different maps, to earn money, you will play several levels to collect gold nuggets by making matches next to them. Each Gold Panning level has three different boards to complete that appear when you finish a board. Making large matches will earn powerups on the board that are gem specific, requiring you to match the powerup in a match with the same stone. Matching 4 stones earns you an explosive stone to destroy tiles surrounding it, L and T shapes earn a Lightning stone that destroys stones in a row and column, and 5 matches earn you a Color stone that destroys all stones of the same color.
There are several different types of Match 3 games, most of which are offered once you buy a map and enter a pyramid. Old Mine requires you to make matches over all yellow tiles. Gold Digger requires you to dig for gold by making matches near the ground to dig your way to bury gold. Collect requires you to collect jewelry by dropping them off of the board. Pathfinder requires you to remove the indicated number of stones within a specified number of moves. Coin Chase requires you to remove as many coins as possible without letting any coin reach the top, they require stone specific matches, and with every move, coins move up one tile. Puzzles are similar to tetris, a few stones are given on the board and you must make matches to keep the board from reaching the top, every turn adds 5 new stones to the top.
The stones are bright and colorful, and you are constantly playing different types of Match 3, making this game ,ore interesting, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

A Wizard walks into a bar......no seriously, a wandering street magician Wizard stopped for the night at the local Inn. The Wizard ordered a pint of ale, and he couldn't help but notice how sad the barkeeps daughter was. The Wizard asked why she was so sad, and the barkeep replied that the entire kingdom was sad because their beloved Queen had been turned to stone by an angry Warlock. The only way the spell can be broken is for a Wizard to restore the Scrolls of magic that have been erased. The Wizard was certainly looking for an adventure, so why not?
Each level represents a Magic Scroll, and you will complete several Mosaic Griddler games for each scroll, followed by a Jigsaw Puzzle that slowly transforms the Queen to her human form. The griddler puzzles have three different colors that allow you to switch back and forth between colors to help solve the puzzle. I didn't find any options to turn off the autofill feature, so numbers are crossed off automatically as well as completed rows and columns. There are three different Hint features and the numbers shown, let you know how many are available in each of the three hint features, and there are hearts that tell you how many lives or mistakes you can make in each puzzle.
The Jigsaw Puzzles are just okay in my opinion because none of the pieces rotate, and you are only given a few jigsaw puzzle pieces at a time.
I still like Fantasy Mosaics and Rainbow Mosaics better, I wasn't over the top thrilled with the colors and for me, it was difficult at times to figure out how many cells were filed in because the lines disappear between cells when two or more cells are filled in beside each other. Other than that, this is a decent Mosaic Griddler game, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I played the beta demo of this game a while back, and to be perfectly honest with you, the storyline isn't all that creative, but the graphics, well that's a whole different ball game. I was, and still am, utterly impressed with the creativity and beauty of the graphics. The artists clearly had a vision in mind, and they are able to take us on a journey, through their mind's eye, a journey through 4 magical realms of Atis. Although the first Realm is visibly more appealing, the other three are just as beautiful, and the game does a great job of holding your attention to the end, which is more than I can say about some of these games.
These realms are made from magic, but where there's good, there's also evil, where there's magic, there's dark magic, and you are here for a reason, to save your fiance, Matthew! Samantha wasn't expecting Matthew to be her patient at the hospital today, but today is no ordinary day for this couple. Matthew discovered a sphere at the bottom of the lake during one of his dives, and this sphere has made Matthew very ill. The sphere wants Mathew, and Mathew wants this sphere, but neither one of them suspected what would happen next...
Shortly after arriving to the world of Flying Fishes (followed by the Sand, Ice, and Dark Worlds) you will be given a Magic Box by Harold the magician, and creator of the realms. This box can dispel dark magic created by Harold's nemesis, Ralph, after playing a mini game of course, and each mini game is different and very creative. In the Collector's Edition version, there are 90 Crystal Runes to collect (once collected, you can play a Match 3 game with the crystals) and there are 15 Morphing Ghost Masks to find as well.
The Hidden Object Scenes are just as beautiful as the realms are. Most of the HOP's have several different styles in each scene, as well as a puzzle or two to solve, making them highly entertaining. There are Interactive list finds, Matching Pairs finds, Silhouetted Shape finds, Progressive Interactive finds, Fragment finds, Combination Silhouetted Shape Matches, Multiple finds and even small Zoom Zone finds available.
The Mini Games are fun, some are easy to solve, others require more patients. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Pass the ball through every checkpoint to open the safe lock.
2) Arrange the runes according to the shapes on each row and column.
3) Find matching pairs by clicking on two honeycombs at a time.
4) Swap tiles to complete the pattern.
5) Rotate disks to complete the image.
6) Place all of the tetris shaped puzzle pieces into the playing field.
7) Complete the sketch by first rotating sections and then flipping tiles.
8) Drag the ball through the symbol without going outside of the shape.
9) Repeat the sequence of tile selections.
10) Swap tiles to complete the picture.
11) Arrange the tokens so that they complete the logic equations.
12) Press to stop the orbs when all orbs are in the empty slots at the same time.
The Collector's Edition has 20 Achievements to earn, 15 Morphing Ghost Masks, 90 Crystal Runes to collect and play a Match 3 game, 18 Concept Art pictures, 18 Wallpaper Posters, 9 Videos, 10 Music Soundtracks, 25 replayable Mini Games, 22 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, Story recaps, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

When a new museum exhibit began omitting strange noises, Diana went to investigate the giant stone disc. In the blink of an eye, the disk discharged an eerie beam of energy that grabbed Diana and yanked her into another realm. At first glance, Diana thought the portal had landed her into the past, inside a Mayan Temple, but now she's not so sure that she's still on Earth! Even scarier, the portal that brought her here, won't be taking her back home, because the portal has been ripped to shreds!
Just a few Collector's Editions ago, I made the comment that collectibles and morphs are way too easy to find because the cursor changes to a giant hand and shouts "here I am" I said it would be awesome if there were an option to turn off the "here I am" cursor to make finding the collectibles more challenging, and that's exactly what this awesome game has offered in the custom setting mode! Speaking of collectibles, hold on to your computer chair, because there are a ton of collectibles: 7 Pyramids, 7 Diety Statuettes, 8 Decorated Skulls, 8 Stone Heads, and 12 Clay Flasks that gives you the history of the Endless River Valley AND unlocks 20 levels of additional mini games! There are also 30 Morphing Objects that will also unlock a puzzle in the bonus section if you find all of them.
The Hidden Object Scenes are far and few between, but mostly Interactive, Progressive Silhouetted Shape Finds that require you to find objects that match the silhouetted shapes shown, and use those items back into the scene interactively to expose the next object and so forth, as well as solving small puzzles within the scenes.
The Mini games are clever and are all about stone Mayan type stone puzzles. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Rotate the cubes to arrange them correctly according to the clues you found.
2) Use the arrow buttons to spin the circle until the blue ball moves to the blue button.
3) Use the buttons and circles to rotate the statue parts and restore the images on them.
4) Rotate the circles to move all the green crystals to the central circle.
5) Arrange the hands to the correct positions according to the clue you found.
6) Rotate the discs and move the horizontal bar to arrange the balls as indicated on the pattern.
7) Repeat the pattern by opening and closing the beetles.
This Collector's Edition has 9 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 18 Videos, 8 Music Soundtracks, 21 Achievements, 18 replayable Mini Games, 6 replayable puzzles (others can be unlocked) Collectibles to unlock more Mini Games, 8 Story Scrolls to unlock history story, 30 Morphing Objects, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Redemption Cemetery games can be a hit or miss game, either a hero or a zero, fortunately, Night Terrors is one of the better ones. I'm not a real fan of this series, mostly because they all seem the same, and none of them really stand out in the crowded genre of HOPA games. Usually, Redemption Cemetery games are about the dearly departed who cannot fully depart because they are searching for redemption. Usually they are given the opportunity to travel back in time to attempt to right the wrong thus being redeemed. One has to wonder if the devs are attempting to breath life back into a lifeless series.
Jane Warovski desperately needs your help at the Dream Research facility, when her patients begin dying once they fall asleep!. Following in her grandfather's footsteps, at the Research Institute he founded, Jane knows all too well what will happen if any of her patients fall asleep. Project Mara began as a simple sleep study to allow scientists to learn the significance behind human dreams, and her grandfather discovered a way to enter people's dreams. Something went horribly wrong however, when a virus began spreading from patient to patient through their dreams. In advanced stages, the virus began to kill it's host, and Jane realized that the only way to keep her patients alive, was to keep them awake, wide awake!

In the Collector's Edition version, there are the usual Achievements to earn, which are awarded in Bronze, Silver and Golden skulls. There are also 12 Collectible Character figurines in four different categories, At Death's Door, Clock of Fate, The Island of the Lost, and Bitter Frost. You are equipped with a Smartphone which allows you to view your tasks, etc. and there is an app on the phone to play an archaic driving game called Grave Racer, which also has an achievement tied to it for earning your current best score.
The Hidden Object Scenes have not changed much in the past nine games and will probably always stay the same. They aren't necessarily bad, just typical and predictable Interactive List finds with an interactive puzzle to solve, but there was also a Silhouetted Shape HOP offered in the demo The feature I loathe the most is that they always have a repeat HOP in the same scene.
The Mini Games are okay, some super simple, others a bit more frustrating. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Figure out the last 2 digits of the keypad by trial and error.
2) Recreate the symbols shown in the center by choosing two different shapes to combine.
3) Switch between cameras to find someone who has fallen asleep.
4) Arrange the colored balls so they match the pattern shown.
5) Use directional arrows to scan for a virus on a microscope.
6) Match identical x-rays.
7) Use a partial encrypted clue to figure out the pass code.
8) Restore the image by correctly placing puzzle pieces.
9) Rotate tumblers so the symbols match the clue you found.
10) Replace two parts to collect a circular puzzle piece.
11) Select correct combination to get the adrenaline serum.
12) Match all of the cards until only one remains.
13) Complete the image by connecting the dots.
The Collectors Edition has 15 replayable Mini Games, 20 replayable Hidden Object Scene, 10 Concept Art pictures, 10 Wallpapers, 7 Screensavers, 6 Music Soundtracks, 21 replayable Movies, 16 Achievements to earn 12 Collectibles, a built in Strategy Guide, and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I love a good Time Management game that has a lot of different features to offer such as Weather Lord. I hate playing a TM game in relaxed mode because what's the point of playing a TM game without having to manage your time wisely? This Time Management game, In Service of the Queen, is unacceptable to me on so many levels, one of which is with the bland unappealing colors, even the characters themselves are unappealing. There are no unusual features, every task is ordinary and there's nothing that makes this game stand out from all of the other TM games.
There are only two modes of difficulty, Multi-click Timed and Relaxed with no timer. It is nearly impossible to earn all three stars after the first few levels, because there's just not enough time! There is a meter at the top of the screen that indicates when you have lost the first star, and the second star, and the meter drains very quickly. I restarted several levels over and over, each time, changing the task queues, with and without upgrading the worker's camp for an extra worker, I even added an extra worker at different points in the level, with no advantage. I clicked on tasks at a wicked pace, with no waiting gaps and no wasted unnecessary steps, but I was lucky to earn 2 stars much less three!
The bottom line is, I enjoy a challenge, but I also don't want to play a game that I never succeed at. There are so many excellent Time Management games available, so unless you want to play this game in a Relaxed mode, or you don't mind a challenging game with little hope of earning a perfect score, I would pass on this one!
I don't recommend this game.

After 20 years in prison, Stephon Astor has served his sentence and is now a free man. The question is, are the men responsible for his imprisonment free? Francois Charlie from the Secret Service has asked you to conduct an investigation at the Marinite Monastery. Eight Monks disappeared shortly after Stephon Astor was released from the Temple prison, and the citizens are demanding answers after seeing 8 freshly dug graves the following morning! If Stephon Astor is responsible for the death's of these Monk's, why would he commit such a heinous crime against these innocent men of faith? Perhaps they aren't so innocent, and perhaps you are working for the wrong side, who knows? Whoever is responsible, he has a clear message, "He who is born in fire, shall die in it"......
I just don't get it. Haunted Legends games are all the same, and they all have forgettable storylines. Do you remember what the last game was about? Offhand I don't, I can remember bits and pieces of several of their games, but none of their games stand out, and not one of them fall into my "gotta have" game list. The graphics are always the same, they always take place at night, the buildings always look the same and the characters always look and sound the same. The dog is always going to be heard barking in the quiet ambiance of the evening (which btw can be heard in the distance even though I'm standing two feet from a rioting mob) How many ways can this game present the same story? They all involve a single man who systematically pecks off one citizen at a time, and it always turns out to be because the citizens are corrupt, and the victims are usually Mayors, members of a Secret Society, or Wealthy, so who is it this time, bet I can guess!
There are 35 Collectible Tokens which allows you to rebuild the Family Castle heired to you, and there are 34 Morphing Objects as well as the usual Achievements to earn. So far, I have not had to use one of those memory catchers that most of these games feature, but I'm sure I'll need one eventually.
The Hidden Object Scenes have items that are way too small in my opinion, just another reason to give this game an average rating. There are Interactive Silhouetted Shape finds, Fragmented object finds and even zoom zone HOP's with Multiples of a single item finds. The only creative HOP offered in the demo was finding 3 symbols related to each paragraph in a story.
The Mini Games are average, some super simple, some are available in Casual or Hard modes of difficulty. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Restore the image by rotating two rings around a stationary center circle.
2) Drag the marble along the chute from top to bottom without touching the walls, to ring a bell.
3) Arrange the tokens so they match and line up with their corresponding symbols.
4) Release all the fingers by clicking on them, clicking one finger may affect other fingers.
5) Open the gate by swapping stars with different amounts of points according to the clue.
6) Arrange the white disk symbols according to the symbol pattern shown on the cage.
7) Open all drawers by replacing the missing portraits, using tools you find inside of the drawers to help you progress.
8) Click on directional arrows to gain enough momentum to swing towards a knife conveniently placed.
