Approximately 4 Hour Completion Time:
Toxic soils and depleted energy sources forced people to rise to the occasion. Cities were developed upon the mountainous sleeping Stone Giants whose energy source was in abundance, and the citizen's lived in peace for centuries. After receiving a distress call from a neighboring city, the Nightengale Zepplin arrives to see the horrors of the aftermath of an attack by an unknown assailant. All of the citizens have been crystallized, slowly draining them of precious energy. Now it is up to the Nightengale's crew, a family trio, Uncle Leo and his nieces, bound together after a family tragedy, to find out who is behind the vicious attacks, and just why they need human energy!
There is a Gadget, a Gauntlet that can control or disable Drones, it does require a repetitive Mini-Game, however, it is only used 4 Times throughout the 6 Main Chapters and once in the Bonus Chapter, so it's not that bad.
Each of the scenes in the Main Game have a Morphing Zepplin Airship (none within the Bonus Chapter) They morph at a good pace but were a little too large, making them fairly easy to spot, they also seem to be hidden a little more as you progress. I wish they had an option to show the availability of the morph on the Icon because some of the scenes don't have one. I was also disappointed that they didn't allow you to return to the scenes to collect missing morphs. I missed collecting one morph during the demo/buy switchover scenario because I didn't click on the morph before the cutscene of the final demo scene, and when I purchased the game it took me to Chapter 3!
POSSIBLE SPOILER FEATURE (about the Goats): There are 5 Goats you will come across throughout the main game. When you click on them they won't disappear because they aren't really a collectible, they are an Achievement. The Goat's do bleat when you click on them, as another reviewer stated, but nothing happens until you click on the fifth and final goat and receive the G.O.A.T Award.
The Hidden Object Scenes have mostly Listed Item Finds, some of which are located within interesting scenes. A few of the locations were Repeated Scenes, but there is also Interactive List Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds and Interactive-Progressive Silhouetted Shape Finds, There are 11 Main HOP's and 3 Silhouetted Shape Zoom Zone HOP's in the main game and 4 HOP's within the Bonus Chapter.
The Mini-Games (20 non-gauntlet games in the main chapters, 3 in the CE BC)) could be better and I wasn't crazy about the repetitiveness of several puzzle types back to back. The Gauntlet Gadget also has repetitive puzzles (10 gauntlet games in the main chapters, 3 in the BC) but as I said earlier, the Gauntlet is only used 4 times in the main game and once in the Collector's Edition Bonus Chapter. Below are brief descriptions of some of the more interesting mini-games offered within the complete adventure:
1-Select symbols from the right that match the symbols the arrow points to in sequence (gauntlet puzzle)
2- Steer the parachute using directional arrows to avoid obstacles.
3-Complete the images by swapping square tiles for 7 different images progressing in size.
4-Rotate valves until all arrows are within the green zones, 1 may affect other valves.
5-Rotate pipe sections to create a continuous flow.
6-Drag runes from the center to the edges so they don't overlap, they will drift to the center. (gauntlet puzzle)
7-Rotate fuses until all arms of the fuses are connected to identical colors.
8-Select the circles that don't share a common symbol with the original. (gauntlet puzzle)
The Collector's Edition Bonus Chapter takes place directly after the main adventure timeframe. Once again, you and your sister Adriane have to continue cleanup in aisle 5 because Drones are still on the loose and stealing everyone's valuables. You will learn more in-depth insight of the Nightengales' crew background stories as well. There are 4 remaining Hidden Object Scenes, 3 Mini-Games and the Gauntlet is used once during the BC. There are no remaining Morphing Zepplin Airships or collectibles during the BC either.
This Collector's Edition version has 6 Steampunk Wallpapers (without characters, yea!) 12 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 7 Cutscene Videos, 13 Re-playable Hidden Object Scenes, 22 Re-playable Mini-Games, 16 Achievements to Earn, 29 Morphing Zepplin Airships, 6 Main Chapters (Heart of the Mountain) +Bonus Chapter (Apprentice At Heart) and a Built-in Strategy Guide. Enjoy your Steampunk Adventure!
I recommend this game!

They had me until Bertha the talking ferret from a different series made his appearance. Every time I got myself into a little predicament he would show up to hand me a much-needed inventory item before scurrying away. I'm more curious as to where he was keeping these items than the fact that he could talk!
Nothing like a few dead animal carcasses and a live ferret chained up to get you in the mood for the first HO scene right? I wasn't really impressed with the Hidden Object Scenes which were far too simplistic. Finding Items to give to the right person=can't make a mistake it won't let you, taking items off a shelf and placing them into the scene=how could you not know where they go because it's so obvious, and the usual Silhouetted Shape finds, Keywords in Sentence etc. They do give you the option to play a Match 3 game but it's not a very fun Match 3 game.
The Mini-Games are decent and as usual, can be completed in an Easy or Hard Difficulty Mode. Some of the puzzles are quite lengthy and complex which is how I prefer them. Below are brief descriptions of some of my favorites in this game:
1-Outline squares on a grid w/ the correct number of connections.
2-Connect pairs of symbols w/o intersecting lines.
3-Use directional arrows to move bells to their matching colored slots.
4-Push tokens to their matching slots using arrows on columns and rows.
5-Select center buttons to rotate tiles and arrow buttons to move tiles between circles.
The Collector's Edition version has 10 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 32 Movie Video Cutscenes, 18 re-playable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 re-playable Mini-Games, 33 Achievements to earn, 15 Esmeralda's Diary Pages, 15 Tarot Cards, 15 Boudoir Room Dresses to purchase with 70 Collectible Golden Bracelets, Missing Journal Notes to find, 3 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a built-in Strategy Guide.

7 Hours woth of completion!
They're back! The magical floating Elven Island disappeared without a trace 735 years ago, but today, for no apparent reason, the Island reappeared! There once was a time when Elves and humans lived in harmony and worked side-by-side to educate one another with valuable skills. When the elves began to show signs of illness, they blamed the humans, war was imminent, and humans began to disappear. The Medico Imperium Order soon discovers that the return of the Elven Island 735 years later is not a goodwill gesture. Can The Order's most Honored Healer thwart the Elves mission to overpower the human race, or is it already too late?
If you aren't a huge puzzle and mini-game fan, you won't enjoy this game very much because you are literally doing them back-to-back. As an "Honored Healer" you have a magical Diagnostic Sceptor that allows you to access the patients' symptoms and draw a medical conclusion. This Gadget is used 7 times throughout the Main Game and each of those 7 uses requires you to complete 3 different mini-games before you search for the correct ingredients to cure what ails them. Thank you, Domini for making each puzzle different and for not making me endure a Recipe mini-game!
I've said this multiple times before, but in my opinion, Domini throws everything into their games including that kitchen sink, to make their games way too Looonnggg. There are 19 regular mini-games in the main chapters PLUS 21 Diagnostic Scepter mini-games and another 10 mini-games in the BC, that's a whopping 50 mini-games! I love puzzles but even I don't want a game where all I'm doing is playing mini-games back to back! There are only 5 Chapters plus the CE BC, but it literally took me 6-7 hours to complete, the notorious midnight completion seem off, right? Granted I don't skip any of the puzzles, but I was completely bored and over the game halfway through. I lost track of how many times I needed something "Sharp" a bottle of "Acid" something to "Protect my Hands" a "Wrench" a "Nail Puller" something "Thin" to open a latch, a "Shovel" and a jug, cup or mug of "Water" Every single time, I'd use those items once, only to need the exact item two scenes later, a couple of times I can live with, but 10 or more times all in an effort to stretch the game and make people think they are getting a bargain? If I didn't have to heal so many people I would have completely forgotten what the story was even about because I wasn't playing a game to progress the story, I was playing a game to progress the next puzzle! Everything in this game is a filler, an illusion of a long story!
There are only 12 Hidden Object Scenes in the Main Games and 5 HOP's within the BC, all of which are re-playable within the CE extra section. There are 3 smaller Zoom Zone HOP's and you can opt to Play a Match 3 game instead of the hidden object scenes. In the custom settings, you can opt for Silhouetted Shape Hints and hint recharges in 0 seconds! Some of the HO scenes were fairly creative, some of my favorite types were using vertical & horizontal sliders to align highlighted images over the correct object in the scene that matches descriptions as Keywords, Swatches of circular image samples to find the correct location in the scene, Combination Silhouetted Shape clues where you find the object that matches the description of the 2 silhouetted shapes combined, and my absolute favorite was finding objects in a scene with multiple Morphing Objects. There are also Multiples of the Same Object finds, Gears that rotate to align partial images, Keywords in Sentence Finds and a highly interactive, progressive HOP.
I hope you love Mini-Games, and I do mean love because there are 40 games within the main game and another 10 offered within the Bonus Chapter! You can, however, opt to play a Match 3 Game instead of the mini-games! Domini always offers their games in an Easy or Hard difficulty mode, and in the custom settings you can opt to have them start with either easy or hard mini-games, but you can still opt for the opposite per mini-game. You can also opt to skip the puzzles instantly in the custom settings! The above mentioned Diagnostic Scepter requires you to complete 3 different mini-games each time it is used, and fortunately, they are always different puzzles. Below are brief descriptions of some of my favorite games offered throughout the entire game:
1-Drag color-coded chains of various lengths to their color-coded slots.
2-Jump bacteria cells to remove all but 1 bacteria.
3-Move squares to spots w/corresponding colors, arrow sections will change its direction.
4-Untangle bacteria strands by selecting arrow buttons for each strand.
5-Move the pink token to cover the entire grid.
6-Select tiles to reveal all images, if you select a tile that has no image you'll have to restart.
7-Select green buttons to remove all bacteria, removing one may change other sets.
8-Select a sequence of directional arrows to guide the net thru a maze.
9-Adjust the temperature of 4 gauges by selecting + & - to move the needle a specified number to the green zone.
10-Move 1 horizontal & 1 Vertical tornado to direct wind flow, & + or - buttons to move the griffin thru a maze.
11-Select + or - & rotation buttons to align & scale 4 different fragments to align w/the center image.
12-Select number & direction specific buttons to guide the token w/o landing on the skull spots.
13-Move or jump your pieces to add more pieces than your opponent.
The Bonus Chapter (only available in the CE version) takes place after the main game's timeframe. Dr. Klein welcomes Jarolia, a recent graduate into The Medico Imperium Order, and wastes no time sending her out on her first solo mission. Ill Lydia has created a highly contagious infection that turns Elves into a monstrous Night Elf that obeys her every command, and it's now up to Jarolia to prove she has what it takes as a young Healer. There are 10 Mini-Games and 5 Hidden Object Scenes in this fairly lengthy BC. (one of those mini-games could be considered as a HOP of finding and replacing objects into the pages of a storybook) You will pick up the remaining collectibles, 3 Medical Cards, 7 Golden Metal Leaves (which allows you to purchase the remaining Laboratory Items, the number varies because items vary in price) and the final 3 Morphing Elven Artifacts, which, in my opinion, morph way to fast, and aren't very challenging to spot in any of the scenes.
This Collector's Edition version has 10 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 17 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 12 replayable Mini-Games, 21 Achievements to Earn, 15 Collectible Morphing Elven Artifacts, 15 Collectible Medical Disease Cards (to learn about diseases in the Tar Empire (that's just weird, who wants to read about chickenpox?) 15 Laboratory Items, 50 Hidden Metal Leaves (use to purchase Laboratory Items) 5 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a built-in Strategy Guide.

This Match 3 game is definitely not my cup of cupcakes. I feel like I got glitterbombed and bedazzled all at once. There are sparkling tiles all over the place! This has got to be the world's fastest Match 3 game, taking mere seconds to complete each level because not only are the board small and basically, just rectangular, but there are just no challenging features offered.
There are 100 Levels and you can choose between a Limited Time, Limited Moves, or a Relaxed Mode before the start of each super-sonic speed level. You can choose from a whopping 38 Character Avatars, but honestly, their graphics are flat and pale not to mention none of them were particularly appealing. You can also choose from 7 Language options.
The Level Goals are shown at the top, usually specified numbers of specific bakery goods such as cupcakes, pancakes, cakes, pies and ho-ho's, as well as making matches over flour-laden tiles and collecting all Cats by dropping them off of the boards. Okay, can someone please tell me the relationship of cats and cupcakes other than the fact that they both begin with the letter C? You can earn up to 3 Stars, the star scoring system was just as much of a mystery to me as the Cat cupcake scenario, but you can replay the levels, I did not want to.
Large matches will earn Bonuses on the board such as Bombs (because all bakeries use bombs) and Left-N-Right bonuses that remove a tile to... you guessed it, the left and right of the bonus. Glitterbomb sparkling icons will recharge your special abilities, I don't know what my special abilities are, because it doesn't tell me what my special abilities are. In fact, none of the feature explanations made sense. The ole Bakery Cat states that (and I quote word for word) "Cats count for you after they reach the bottom of the level. Some special symbols can also award them" end game quote add pennmom's quote "huh?"
Moving on from the unexplainable features to the utterly ridiculous features. I'm told that I can upgrade my Bonuses in the Shop, so off I go to the Bakery Shop to buy a Hammer, hmmm? I guess one can speculate that a Hammer and Bomb go perfectly well in together in a cat-filled bakery? What's this says I? Looks like I can buy some delicious tasty bakery treats with my hard earned money! Yes, I'll have one Cupcake, one Popsicle (ok, it's a stretch but I'll run with this one) and absolutely, give me a stack of pancakes with syrup! Where are my tasty treats says I? Let me zoom in a bit because I think I see some tiny specks on the left side of the counter. I exited the game once I saw 3 teeny tiny items just laying on my counter including a popsicle standing upright on the counter...hmf
I don't recommend this game.

Although Luxor refers to the ancient city of Thebes in this particular Luxor Solitaire game, it sure does stir up some fond memories of a favorite pastime game series. I loved all of the features in this game, including the Egyptian-themed graphics and music, and building Luxor, but most of all I loved the Tri-Peaks layout variations which, in my opinion, make solitaire games a little more challenging.
There are 120 Solitaire Levels and you can play in a Relaxed Mode or a Timed Mode which only allows you 10 seconds to decide which card to remove. I played in Relaxed Mode because I play solitaire games for the relaxation aspect. You can earn 3 Stars when you remove all cards from the board, (including the Scarab Cards) 2 Stars when 1 card remains and a single star when 2 cards remain, however, you must remove all Scarab Cards to continue, otherwise you will have to replay the level. You can choose from 7 different Egyptian-themed Card Graphics and 2 Card Font styles (menu tab during the game) there are 6 Trophy Achievements available, and you can set the Background pictures as Wallpapers (w/o the cards)
Before the start of each level, you can buy and choose 3 different Boosters with the Gold you earn by removing cards. Once you use the booster, you will have to buy that booster again before being able to use it because they are a one and done booster, but they are very cheap, 10-15 gold coins per booster. The Mummy Booster gives you a Joker when selected (if you don't use them they will become available for the next round) The Scarab Booster removes 2 Open Cards from the board, the Lotus Booster adds 5 More Deck Cards, the Ankh gives you 1 more Undo (each level gives you 1 undo automatically, if you use it and have to replay the level you will get another undo) the Horus Booster lets you see the Top Deck Card. My only complaint is that the Boosters you choose are shown on the bottom Right, but they are just icons without labels and it's easy to forget which booster does what, especially if you don't use them right away, this was simply a pure oversite, you won't find out if you chose the right booster until you use it! Fyi: one of the achievements is to complete 5 levels in a row w/o using boosters.
Scarab Cards must be removed to continue to the next level, and the Scarabs are used to build Luxor. You don't get to choose which structure to build, it just moves on to the next available one. There are the usual Obstruction Cards as well, Ivy Covered Cards that require uncovering and using the Sword Card, Stone Cards that require uncovering and using the Hammer Card, Mummy Cards that require the card be played twice to remove, and Lock Cards that require making a Combo of a Specified Number as shown inside the lock.
Solitaire is one of my favorite genres, but it has to have certain features such as being able to remove all cards, not just special cards, I have to be able to replay the levels as often as I want, it has to be a higher/lower type or anything other than mahjong types and it has to be fun to play, and somewhat challenging. Luxor Solitaire fits all my criteria so this is a definite buy for this solitaire fan, well done Lazy Turtle!
I recommend this game!

Well, that was quick! Didn't King Galanius just pass over his crown when the Royal Wedding Bells rang Ding-Dong for Princess Aerin, and Tillian, who shortly thereafter became the proud parents of a bouncing Royal Baby Girl in the last Elven Legends game? Now, in the blink of an eye, the Royal Princess is all grown-up, with magic powers of her very own, and making Royal Decisions on her journey home from Grandpa's house!
I must admit, one of the reasons I have always loved this TM series is because, over the last 6 games, I followed the story of a young Elven Princess as she discovered her magical abilities and learned how to serve her Kingdom's people. Aerin met the man of her dreams (well, it was more like he just popped into her life all of a sudden) Together they worked as an inseparable team side by side, decided to get married and her proud father, King Galanius handed down the crown. That took place over 6 game episodes, so I really would have been happier to have an in-between episode or two with the Royal Parents still involved as they handed down their family values to shape her into the young Princess she's currently become. But I guess there's no going back now, I just hope the next episode doesn't fast forward 40 years to show an aging and bitter Princess Sonja living alone in a decaying castle amongst a hundred cats. (well, the cats would still be adorable)
Elven Legend games are strategy-based Time Management games requiring you to queue your tasks in a specific order. You can play in a Relaxed mode with no timer (and apparently no available Stars) a Normal Mode, or a Professional Mode, and you can replay the levels as often as necessary. Bonus Icons become available that help you beat the levels, such as Worker's Speed, Add Workers, Double the Production of Resources, Speed up Work Production or even Increase the number of Existing Resources.
There are the normal TM tasks of collecting food, water, wood, stone crystals etc. and the same tasks of clearing the roads, repairing bridges and filling in pits along the way. Princess Sonja, who has the ability to animate non-living objects, of course, does all the magic work, and she is joined by someone who claims that he and his army have been sent to protect her.
There are several Altars of Resources available in each level that will produce 2 units of renewable resources over a period of time. Magical Trees produce wood, but they will first require Water before they will regrow or produce, Waterwells can be constructed on most levels or reproduced on altars. You will need to construct different buildings as well as upgrade them to produce various resources such as Farms to produce food, Workers House's to hire extra workers, Sawmills for wood, Inn's to produce Gold, Mines to produce magic Crystals, Labs to produce Philosopher's Stones as a source of Princess Sonja's magic.
Some levels require items to be Crafted such as creating Clay, Wood, an Iron Golems before the Princess can animate them. Crafted items you gather will automatically move to the icon, and once all items have been collected you need to click on the icon to complete the task.
In this Collector's Edition version, each scene has a Morphing Faun Statuette (60) Collectible Books (60) and 12 collectible Baby Golems in 5 different categories or types (60) You can replay the levels after completing them, to pick up missed collectibles or morphs, without having to replay the level, you will NOT lose your star rating if you only return to pick the up! There are 8 Wallpapers, 8 Concept Art Character Pictures, 39 Achievements to earn, a High Scores Leaderboard, 10 extra CE Bonus Levels, and a built-in Strategy Guide, enjoy!

I think the devs were listening and went back to the drawing board after the last disastrous Angels's game because they made the levels a little less challenging (maybe even too easy this time) but even better, they added 5 Character Profile Options (for multi-players or simultaneous multi-games, and of course, Emily is one of the profiles) and a Profile Reset option as well. At least this version isn't a one and done game. They still haven't trashed the Mini-Game scenario yet, this one has several no-skills required games that require a simple extra step to complete tasks, otherwise, I may have given it 5-Stars (more like a 4.4 ish because it may be a little too easy) But I love it when a dev sees an issue and tries to solve the issue, based on review feedback, they don't know there's an issue if we don't tell them folks so make sure you write reviews to tell them what you liked and didn't like!
There are 60 Levels available over 6 Chapters beginning with Angela's Fabulous Boutique, Noemie's House of Fashion, Josh's Studio, Emily's Garden, back to Angela's Fabulous Boutique and ending with Fashion Week. There are 24 Challenge Levels, 4 per Level that allows you to complete an optional quest level. Those quests still involve the normal customer scenarios, but you may also have to clear the mouse infestation by clicking on every pop-up mouse (Snuggford's residents sure have vermin issues following them wherever they go!) or serving customer's quickly to earn specified points.
There are 2 Diamond levels per chapter, 17 Achievement Trophies to earn, 18 different Language options and an Angela's Boutique feature where you can dress up your own Model with 114 different outfits and accessories you can purchase with the Diamonds. You can also take a Picture of the model wearing each outfit on the runway with the Camera and save it to your Desktop.
In the first Angela's episode, Sweet Revenge, Angela moved to the Big Apple to begin a career as a fashion designer. In Fashion Fever, Angela had to design the perfect dress to win the chance to take over for a legendary fashion mogul, Truly. In High School Reunion, Angela was organizing her High School reunion when she managed to get thrown in jail! In Fabulous: Angela's Wedding Disaster, Angela was given the perfect opportunity to learn from New York's fashion guru, Sebastian, and now Angela has finally opened up her very own Fabulous Fashion Boutique with a little help from her friends, emotionally and financially.
The object of this Time Management game is to serve customers that come into the boutique as quickly as possible so they remain happy and patient. When customers arrive they will show you which product or dress they desire, you click on the correct item, then click on the correct customer, then click the register to complete the sale. When a customer tries on a dress or shoes, you will need to clean the dressing room and shoe stations as well.
Some items require multiple steps to combine the product in the correct order from left to right, and some products like heels must be restocked frequently. Some tasks require an additional step, dresses need to be sewn by sliding the button to the top, heels with buckles require sliding a button horizontally and vertically and some dresses may require alterations by clicking on buttons 1-3 as they appear. As I stated earlier, I think this is an annoying feature that requires no thought or skill and none of them are fun, so why add them, the original TM games of this genre didn't include them and they were awesome games.
You can earn up to three gold stars, each star earned gives you Coins that can be used in the shop (available after each level) You will earn extra points if you find and click on Carl the Mouse when he pops up, and for multi-tasking or combinations. Most of the levels have an extra quest given at the start that will give you a diamond if you complete the quest. On the level map the stars you earned will appear and there are slots to show if you completed the extra quest as well as a slot that shows you found Carl the Mouse which appears on every level. There are 7 available upgrades, a Sewing Machine that increases the points earned for dresses, a Zebra Chair that speeds up the shoe trying process, Curtains that speed up the dress trying process, Counter Decorations that speeds up the handbag element choosing process, an Air Freshener that keep customers more patient, Fabulous Mannequins that allow you to restock more dresses, and a Flamingo Plant that gives you more cash register points. None of the speed up Angela, give you helpers or automatically clean stations which in my opinion, is what this game needs most of all.

It's been several years since the last Hero of the Kingdom was released and I couldn't wait to play it this morning. I knew within the first few minutes of the demo that this was exactly what I was expecting and I bought it. The graphics are fabulous and I love searching for various supplies and discovering new lands that become available as you progress.
In the last episode, a young boy and his sister were the sole survivors of a devastating earthquake. They have been traveling aimlessly through the woods searching for a new village to live in. A kind and gentle man discovered the orphans and invited them to stay with him in a nearby village. The man has treated them as one of his own, teaching them basic skills necessary to survive, and in this episode, the storyline focuses on the boy and his journey to become a man and productive member of their village society.
You will click on various villagers that have exclamation points above them to receive tasks, completing those tasks will earn you Hero points as well as various food and supplies. A villager may need help finding items such as ingredients, medical supplies, or even lost items. When you have all supplies or ingredients to complete a task, a green checkmark or exclamation point will appear. To find these items you may have to search all available scenes for the necessary items and you may have to Barter with the locals to exchange one item for gold, or gold for an item. There are also hidden crates and barrels that you can click on to receive random supplies.
Just like in reality, you need to sleep and eat, so you can click on the Fire Icon on the bottom Right that takes you to the camp where you can sleep and eat to refresh your Heart score (almost instantly) There is also a Backpack Icon located on the bottom Left that shows your inventory. You can earn 57 different Achievements as well and have the ability to create several different profiles.
The Innkeeper will buy Food items from you anytime, so you will want to hunt often, at first just rabbits but as your archery skills improve, other animals become available (they don't show anything other than arrows) You can sell fish, mushrooms, rabbit and other animal meat, salt, roots, and eggs in exchange for Gold, the items themselves, such as eggs and mushrooms must be found by scavenging to town and forests.
The Inn itself will sell you beer, food, antidotes, swords, shields, magic potions, and healing potions in exchange for gold. These ingredients are necessary to complete other villagers tasks.
The Traveling Merchant will buy furs, animal teeth, antlers, crystals, jewelry, pearls, and golden fish in exchange for gold and he does travel from time to time. Always be on the lookout for various items hidden in caves, in forests etc, magic mushrooms, for example.
Giselle is the best cook in the entire village, she will give you food when you help her find eggs, salt, roots, and mushrooms (the mushrooms you see will tell you if they are edible, poisonous, or magical) eggs are located in birds nests all over the place. She can even teach you how to cook, but of course, you will need to exchange gold to buy skillets and cauldrons.
The Tool Shop will sell you various tools needed to access caves, chop wood etc. You can purchase ropes, hammers, shovels, torches, and axes in exchange for gold.
The Fishing Shop will sell you raw fish bait, fishing flies, fishing rods, fishing hook's and fishing nets in exchange for gold, they will also rent you a boat to be able to access islands which of course has villagers living there as well that may need your help with finding items on the mainland.
The Hunting Camp will sell you meat, furs, bows, arrows, spears, and poison in exchange for gold, or they may agree to help hone your hunting skills in exchange for something of value.
So basically, you will need to strategically figure out what items are required to complete a specific task, who to help first to hone specific skills, decide which villager has the necessary items to buy to complete which tasks, when to hunt, when to sleep and eat, and you have to decide which order to do them in as well. If you don't have food for yourself becaue you have used your money to exchange for the wrong items at the wrong time, you won't be able to earn health hearts that are required to continue. New supplies become available when new areas open up, but not before you clear paths from venomous snakes, rats, bats etc, and those require becoming more skilled at archery and hunting, so you must manage your tasks and supplies wisely.
I love this game, for me, I find it way better than Virtual games where you have to wait in real time or buy your way through it!
I recommend this game!

Sakir has requested your investigative services once again in the Secret City, a city no other human knows exists. Bolrekin Nibley, the famous Dwarven explorer, has been murdered. His body has been completely petrified leading Sakir to believe that he may have stumbled upon some clues while searching for the lost Merfolk Kingdom that mysteriously vanished over 10 years ago!
Although this game is a rather easy game to play, and the storyline has been done a thousand times before, I did find it to be quite enjoyable. Domini never skimps on quantity, this is another long 7 Chapter game, (and an extremely long CE Bonus Chapter) In my opinion, it's just too long, and it tends to drag on and on with a repetitive scenario of always being just seconds too late to prevent the evil-doer's dastardly deeds, in every single chapter! I'd rather have a 3-4 Chapter game jam-packed with a solid storyline and features rather than a 7 Chapter game stretched out with fillers that do nothing to progress the story, they are just useless tasks that require a lot of back and forthing for no rhyme or reason. For instance, you find a crescent wrench towards the end of the first chapter, use it one time and discard it, only to need the same exact tool a few scenes later, therefore they needed to add another nook & cranny to investigate just to find the tool you should have hung onto in the first place. This tool discarding scenario occurred several times in every single scene of every chapter! Why can't we just keep standard tools in our purse or backpack? I would suspect that a real detective would carry some standard tools of the trade, at least a lockpick!
I really didn't like the new "Collectibles Tab" located on the right side of the screen. What was wrong with the 3 small icons on the inventory bar that twinkled when a particular collectible or morph was available in the current scene? If you didn't like the heads-up twinkling you could disable them and they'd be barely noticeable. Now you have to pull out the big and bulky side tab if you want to see if any of the icons are twinkling to alert you of their presence, I just think it takes away from the beauty of the scenery and is way less convenient. I'd rather see Domini adjust their over-the-top neon color palette and the lengthy chapters than do away with the collectibles circles on the inventory bar!
The Hidden Object Scenes are rather scarce in this Puzzle-Heavy HOPA game, but some of them were very creative. I'm not usually a fan of Keywords in Sentence finds and unfortunately, there are a lot of them used to progress the story's origins. One of my favorite Hidden Object Scenes was the second or third one offered in the first chapter and I wish they had used that type more often of finding a particular group of symbols on 2 pages full of symbols. I also really enjoyed the one in the second chapter where you place swatches correctly onto several different pictures. In the third chapter, there is a very creative Riddle Description HOS where you are tasked with finding the animal that matches the riddle clue. The Riddles themselves were really good, but I thought the animals themselves were creatively blended into the scenery. Towards the end of the game, there is a "spot the difference" HOP where you have to find 12 differences between the original and its mirror image, that was pretty fun as well. There is an alternate Match 3 Game available if you're not a fan of HO's. I've always wondered why they don't offer Hidden Object alternates instead of playing a Mini-Game if they offer a Match 3 game instead of HO's?
The Mini-Games are available in an Easy or Hard Difficulty Mode, and in the Custom Mode setting, you can choose to have each mini-game start out in either difficulty, but you can always opt for the opposite each time you play one. I've always wished there were small, step-by-step videos of the mini-games on the Strategy Guide where you could press on a play button to see a visual of how to solve the game, especially on some of the more complicated games, or games that have confusing written instructions. (tell me that's not an excellent idea!) Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter throughout the game:
1-Connect dots with the specified number of connections.
2-Drag the feet to navigate the maze, collecting items to trade with the skeletons to overcome obstacles.
3-Swap and rotate tokens to restore the image.
4-Move hinged fragments into the highlighted slots to restore the image.
5-Position switches and select directional arrows to move coins into their matching slots at the bottom.
6-Use a magnifying glass to search for symbols in the order shown.
7-Move the arrow to each lock using rotation and arrow buttons.
8-Rotate 3 circles to place colored beads correctly on each circle.
9-Rotate stones so they are facing the right direction as shown on the clue.
10-Click on shields with matching identical symbols.
11-Navigate a train by selecting moves without landing on a hole.
12-Chose colors that won't allow 2 identical colors to touch each other.
13-Swap metal strips with gems so that when overlapped, all holes are filled with gems.
The Collector's Edition Bonus Chapter takes place shortly after the detective finishes up the case. The Merfolk Supreme Judge, Cassiopeia, invites you to join her during their new Election process which infuriates Hakkar who feels he is the rightful heir to the throne, and of course, chaos ensues. There are 8 Mini-Games and 5 Hidden Object Scenes within the Bonus Chapter and you will complete the collections with the Final Morphing Statuette, 2 final Missing Journal Page Entries, and the last 10 Hidden Starfish which allows you to complete your Aquarium Fish collection.
The Collector's Edition version has 11 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 21 Movie Video Cutscenes, 18 Achievements to earn, 18 re-playable Hidden Object Scenes, 19 re-playable Mini-Games, 13 Morphing Statues, 36 Collectible Starfish that allow you to buy 15 Aquarium Fish, 15 Journal Page Entries, 7 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a built-in Strategy Guide Walkthrough, enjoy :)

I spent hours playing Road Trip USA and enjoyed every minute so I knew there was no need to try the demo first on this edition, so I went straight for the "buy now" button with no regrets! I must admit, my favorite features are the Hidden Items, Coins and above all, finding Max, Ninja, and Bear the cats, which btw, Max is the company Chaircat, so he's kind of a big deal, lol.
You can choose from several difficulty mode options, Easy Mode, which is a Relaxed time mode where the clock counts up not down, with unlimited hints, and no misclick penalties. Relaxed Mode is a timed mode with unlimited hints but there are misclick penalties. Timed Mode gives you slightly less level times as the relaxed mode, with unlimited hints (using hints in this mode won't allow you to earn speed bonus points) and there are misclick penalties. Hard Mode is a timed mode with no available hints and there are misclick penalties as well.
There are 20 City Locations in Europe and each time you replay the same city, it will have a different type of Hidden Object search modes or mini-games available, and the map marker for that city has a yellow ring that progresses to show how close you are to completing the city level. There are Hidden Object Word Finds, Riddle Finds (only a brief description is given for each object) Silhouetted Shape Finds, Scramble Finds (the object names are jumbled on the list) Missing Vowel Finds (only consonants are given, vowels are replaced with _) and some of the HO scenes are in Night Mode (in the dark using a flashlight) There are also Mini-Games and Puzzles offered after a few HO scenes to break up the monotony, such as Tile Swap puzzles, Spot the Differences, Match 3 games, Mahjong games, and Blockslide puzzles where you slide blocks horizontally or vertically to allow the Key Block to slide into the Lock slot on the right side of the grid.
Every City has 5 Special Item Coins (not listed) but varies in design each time. The Coins (only 1 per scene) are only available in the Hidden Object Word type modes, and it will alert you before starting the level if they are available or not available in that particular scene. There are a total of 100 Special Item Coins total and you must find them to unlock the Bonus Mini-Game section, but you can replay the same city to go back and search for coins you missed.
Every City has 2 Bonus Items to find (not listed) a Car Battery and a Spark Plug. There are 40 Bonus Items total and they are only located within the Hidden Object Word finds as well. The HO scenes may contain just the Car Battery, just the Spark plug, or the scene may include both, and the level map markers indicate whether or not you have found the Bonus Items (as well as special coin items) You must locate all Bonus Items to unlock the Unlimited Hidden Object Mode, and once again, you can replay the cities until you find all of the bonus items.
My favorite feature is finding the 3 Hidden Items within each city, adorable cats named Bear, Ninja and Chief Chaircat Max! You will earn a crazy amount of points for finding one of the cats, I believe 250k. You will earn points for each object you find, and unless you are playing in Easy Mode, points are also deducted when you click the wrong object. I don't think there is Shop to purchase bonuses (I didn't think to look) but the score tally does keep track of best score, best time and accuracy.
The scenes are crystal clear and the items are easily recognizable, and not too small for those who have issues seeing tiny objects, making this a perfect old-fashioned HOG for just about any age. The scenes are interesting with lots of variations including favorite puzzles and mini-games. If you played the first Road Trip, I'm sure you won't be disappointed in Road Trip Europe!
