What a whimsical and fun little Time Management game this is! I'm a huge Disney fan and Robin Hood: Country Heroes kept reminding me of the Oo-de-lally song, "Robin Hood and Little John Walkin' through the forest, Laughin' back and forth At what the other'n has to say" (bet it gets stuck in your head now too lol) The graphics are just as whimsical and fun as the game itself, and the tasks were unique and theme-related, a welcomed change of pace from the same 'ole pick up loaves of bread, build a sawmill kinda game.
There are 45 Levels and you can play in an Easy or Normal difficulty mode. It may have a whimsical story and cutsie graphics, but that doesn't mean it's an easy, breezy game, in fact, other than the first few levels, it gets quite challenging and requires using strategy and TM skill to earn all 3 stars. Each level is crammed full of fun tasks as Robin Hood and Little John recruit new merry men posses to join their cause, stealing from the rich to give to the poor while thwarting the greedy sheriff and his tax-collector minions. There are still the usual TM tasks of clearing paths of debris such as grass weeds, and deadwood, repairing bridges or opening gates, catching fish, picking an apple and/or nut trees and berry bushes, but there are also unusual tasks. You may need to repair village houses, repair woodsmen housing, Sheer sheep for wool to make ropes (you'll need a lot of rope) gather food to feed the village pheasants, and even pour some ale. Robin Hood is the best character because he has wicked archery skizizels! After digging trap holes, Robin shoots an arrow at a bell to trigger a snare to trap the tax collector's, or shoot flaming arrows to light the sheriff's effigy, (bwahaha) or simply "stun" the knights in shining armor, and I thought it was a great TM idea.
The Collector's Edition version includes 8 Character Skins (similar to before & after concept art) 4 Music Soundtracks, a Strategy Guide (click the Treasure Chest on the top of the screen) and Bonus Levels (but it doesn't say how many??) I wasn't impressed with the CE worthiness and I waited for what seemed like ages for this Standard Edition version and I'm so happy I waited :)

Fifteen years have passed since the incident occurred in Watch Hill, an incident that claimed the lives of your parents and baby brother Will. Today's assignment stirs all kinds of emotions because it has returned to your hometown, it can be anyone or anything to anybody. It has escaped, it renders its victims memoryless, void of basic functionality. It must be stopped, it is everywhere, it is everything to everyone, it is Project Black Mimic and it was the beginning and end of your beloved parents....sic 'em Elf!
Man, if this developer would just make their games a little more challenging this Mystery Tracker game would go down in history because the story is fantastic! The Bonus Chapter was a phenomenal concept that takes you back to Mystic Labs as the Anti-everything, the dark to the light, the down to the up, the wrong to the right, the Dark to the Light. You play on the cusp of a Fringe Universe, an alternate reality where things are the same yet slightly different, playing as the same agent of the Dark Trackers instead of the Mystery Trackers, how cool is that?
Unfortunately, the game itself is super easy and everything is predictable, you'll know what object is needed to complete every task, where to look, what to do and when and where to use things. You'll know where the HO scenes will be the second you walk in a room, you'll know to open up scenes where there are cabinets and drawers and know they will all need emblems. It's okay to have easy games, but maybe, just maybe guys, you could pop out at least 1 game a year that is suited towards the largest percentage of HOPA gamers, a challenging game? (maybe dev's wouldn't be struggling like they are nowadays. A decade or so later we have gotten really good at these games yet you still offer games that are super easy with no challenge whatsoever? The masses aren't being catered to anymore, so the masses have quit playing, We have evolved, but you remain the same, doing the same thing, perhaps even less challenging than in the beginning, isn't that obvious by now?)
Helper/Gadget: I can't imagine playing a Mystery Trackers game without my partner Elf, nonetheless, you do get the option of abandoning Elf on the pier, man that's just cold! Elf is used 3 times per chapter (3 Chapters) in the Main Game and 0 times in the Bonus Chapter, however, Dark Elf is used 5 times in the Bonus Chapter.
Morphing Objects/Collectibles: (CE version only) There are 12 Collectible Lighthouses and 28 Morphing Objects that morph at medium speed but at least they morph into a similar object to make it less obvious. Most of the Zoom Zones have a Puzzle Fragment that automatically completes 3 Screensavers (yet there's no option to "set" them?) My only complaint is that this developer never lets you return to the scene to pick up missed collectibles!
Hidden Object Scenes: There are 12 Hidden Object Scenes +6 in the CE Bonus Chapter. I rarely impressed with any of the HO Scenes by Elephant because the items practically jump out at you. Do me a favor and try to find the items w/o looking at the list and I'll betcha you can find most objects! There are Interactive List Finds, Multiples of Items Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, Keywords in Sentence Finds, Find & Replace Items, Uncover Matching Pair Finds, Spot the Difference and an old-fashioned HO scene where you find & drag objects to their matching pictured token. There are no alternate games available.
Mini-Games: There are 15 Mini-Games +6 in the CE Bonus Chapter. Most of the games are standard Elephant games that you've probably played several times. Here are a few of the ones I enjoyed the most: 1-Connect color-coded wire ends to partial symbols to complete the symbols' images. 2-Place letters correctly, letters are pushed along tracks as new ones are added. 3-Click on rolling balls. 4-Move buttons 1 step clockwise or 2 steps counterclockwise.
Bonus Chapter (Collector's Edition version only) DO-OVER! Return to the same scenes as offered in the main game only this time you are playing as a Dark Agent working for the Dark Trackers. I loved this concept, it's a very cool and unusual scenario. There are 8 Scene Locations in this average-length chapter which has 6 Mini-Games and 5 Hidden Object Scenes. You will search for the remaining 3 Collectible Lighthouses, 8 Morphing Objects, and 9 Puzzle Fragments which allows you to complete the final screensaver.
Collector's Edition Extra's 8 Wallpapers, 8 Concept Art Pictures, 3 Screensavers, 5 Music Soundtracks, 21 Achievements, 13 Replayable Mini-Games, 13 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes (within the Archives Room) 12 Collectible Lighthouses, 28 Morphing Objects 34 Zoom Zone Puzzle Fragments, 3 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

Family Photo: Beatrice and her brother Alonso are children of Muses whose powers aren't as strong as their parents' so they use artifacts to inspire human emotions, an energy source needed to survive. Beatrice found her talent at a very young age, but Alonso struggled for years to find his talent. Nathaniel has been called to duty at the Guerra Gallery to investigate the strange disappearances of people who have mysteriously vanished shortly after being photographed. Has Alonso finally found his Muse Talent? Are his talents being used nefariously?
Gadget/Helper: Nathaniel's Tattoo detects paranormal activity and is used 6 times during the Main Chapters. Each time the Tattoo is activated, you will play a mini-game puzzle variation such as a horizontal slider puzzle or rotating hexagonal puzzle pieces to complete the image. In the Bonus Chapter (CE version) Vanessa's Paint Brush Gadget replaces Nathaniels Tattoo and is used 3 times.
Morphing Objects/Collectibles (CE version only) There are 54 Photos available, some are just normal photos, some morph into other objects, and there is a pull out tab to tell you how many are available in each scene. The photos combine into 5 Muse portraits collages when completed. There are 42 Zoom Zone Palettes that are used to purchase 12 different colors of paint to complete a Paint by Numbers masterpiece.
Hidden Object Scenes: (Match 3 Alternative available) There are 13 Hidden Object Scenes +8 in the CE Bonus Chapter, including several smaller Zoom Zone HOPs. There are Interactive List Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, Swatches Finds, Placing pictures with cut-outs over the matching items in the scene, Keywords in Sentence Finds, Multiples of the Same Item Finds, Find & Replace, and Items that match Descriptions Finds. I hate to sound like a broken record, but the HOP's were boring, what happened to the amazing HOP's you had in the recent WS game?
Mini-Games: There are 20 Mini-Games +6 in the CE Bonus Chapter, including 6 Tattoo-Gadget puzzle variations. Some of the games have multiple layers or multiple steps to complete. The mini-games aren't very challenging and Grandma needs to work on adding more of a variety as far as difficulty-range goes because not everyone is a novice HOPA gamer.
Bonus Chapter: New Start (CE version only) Alonso has found his talent! Aunt Vanessa offers him a job teaching other children of muses the fine arts. His first assignment is to help a young girl named Jo who is much like Alonso, struggling to find her talent! This is a somewhat short and boring chapter that retraces most of your steps from the Main Chapter. Because you aren't playing as Nathaniel in the BC, the Tattoo Gadget isn't used, but Vanessa's Paint Brush is used 3 times by playing a hidden object game to find 6 different "traces" which are basically highlighted blobs. There are 7 scene locations with 6 additional Mini-Games and 8 Hidden Object Scenes (some of which are smaller zoom zone hops) You will pick up the remaining 9 Zoom Zone Palettes which Unlocks the Hidden Chapter Hidden Object Scene and allows you to purchase the final Paint Colors and complete the Paint by Numbers art. There are 14 Photo's remaining, some of which are Morphing Objects, You must locate all of the Palettes to unlock the Hidden Chapter, but I believe you can click on any missed Pallette in the CE extra's section to jump to the scene to search for them after completing the Bonus Chapter.
Hidden Chapter: Good Memories (CE version only) After completing the Bonus Chapter, and locating all Palettes, you can access the Hidden Chapter titled Good Memories. Unlike Grandma's last Whispered Secrets masterpiece, this Hidden Chapter is nothing more than a single, one-and-done, Hidden Object Scene where you locate Listed Items on 4 tabs that reveal an object when all listed items are found on each tab. You then use those 4 objects interactively in the scene to complete the HOP. It isn't very creative and it was a huge disappointment especially when compared to their last game's Hidden Chapter!
Collector's Edition Extra's: 8 Wallpapers (all with Characters ὃ) 8 Concept Art Pictures, 29 Movie Cutscene Videos, 8 Music Soundtracks ♪, 11 Replayable Mini-Games♙, 11 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 Achievements, 54 Collectible Photos (some of which are Morphing Objects) The Photos create 5 different Muse Portrait Collages, 42 Zoom Zone Palettes that allows you to purchase 12 Paint Colors and complete a Paint by Numbers landscape picture, 5 Main Chapters (titled: Family Photo) +Bonus Chapter (titled: New Start) +Hidden Chapter (titled: Good Memories) The Hidden Chapter is just a simplistic Hidden Object Scene that can be completed in less than a minute and was a huge disappointment!! There is also a Built-In Strategy Guide.

fromFYI: anyone who provides a personal service such as a groomer, hairdresser, even plumbers, etc. should be tipped. "Servers" depend on tips because their minimum wage is as low as $2-3 an hour in some states!

New Graphics, Same Layout. New Foods (okay, not really) Same Tasks. New Story but really the Same Plot. New Achievement Names, Same Achievements. New Bonus Names, Same Bonuses. Basically, this was a fantastic game when it was presented several years ago as Katy & Bob. I own all of the Katy & Bob games so no, I don't need another game that's an exact replica of those games, disguised as a new TM series because they changed the Title and renamed the characters, which is all they really ever do.
I also don't appreciate having to "wait hand and foot" on customers who seem to have a big "tude" (and alligator arms) why would I want to play a game filled with angry hotheads, or with people that leave poor tips no matter how quickly they are served? How about we add a Waitress Attitude Tab option to at least make it an even playing field, such as a "refusal to serve" or "here's the door, don't let it hitcha in the as...spin" option, that oughta make things more interesting!
If you played the last Cooking Trip game (or Katy & Bob games) the first thing you'll notice is that the restaurant layout is the same. The familiar three, standing room only tables on the left, a fence around the entire tiki hut restaurant, a prep area where John continuously waves his hands in front of the actual food station, as if he was sprinkling fairy-dust or conjuring a potion, a condiments station to the left, rectangular tables for fruits of various types on the bottom portion of the screen, a freezer on the right-hand side to turn those cherries and blueberries into a frosty cold lemonade?? and eventually, 2 different restaurants with similar Katy & Bob themes. Does any of this sound familiar? Of course, it does, because this is the MO for all games by this developer, all they ever do is change the Title and the Characters names and roll with it for years and years!
This is a Point & Click, Time Management game where you serve customers for chump change. You simply click the customer to give them a menu when they arrive and then click on the items they order, (pictured items are shown in their thought bubble) you simply re-click the customer to deliver those food items (exactly as pictured) and then get down on your hands and knees to pick up the coins they toss at you. Okay, not really, but it's the year 2020, who's so cheap they can't even leave their poor waitress an entire buck, or two, or 3, instead of a few lousy coins? The good news is that you don't have to drag anybody or anything, an even more annoying feature some TM games incorporate.
Each customer has a Green Smiley over their head which turns Yellow, and eventually, Red if the service is too slow because they are hotheads with no respect for servers. Their patience level also directly affects the amount of tip they are willing to leave, with either Gold, Silver, or Bronze Coins. The "Expert" Goal amount is shown before the start of each level, and there are Bonus Goals available, but not required, which are shown at the bottom, such as collecting money from three consecutive customers simultaneously.
As you progress, the Menu items increase and become more complex. The tips you earn are used to purchase Upgrades from the Shop to help you achieve level goals, such as Extra Serving Stations, Decor to help stabilize the customers' mood or earn more money by Increasing the cost of food items.
There are 60 Levels and 12 Trophy Achievements to earn, and the Collector's Edition version Extra's include 10 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, and a Walkthrough Strategy Guide.

When I played the Christmas-themed Mahjong Fest game, the music soundtrack kept sticking and would play the same beat for several seconds on a never-ending loop that drove me crazy. I thought surely an update would arrive after the holidays but to my surprise, instead of a patch, I got another game in the series with exactly the same issue!
Once again, I was really annoyed with the fact that as I made Mahjong matches, the board would zoom in closer and closer, it felt like it was invading my personal space. I played 3 levels and gave up when I blew through my 5 "free" Shuffle features and replayed the level twice after my shuffles were gone with the wind...it's only Level 3 for the love of Pete! That tells me two things, #1: the developers didn't care enough to fix the broken, and #2: if I have to use 5 shuffles and 2+ level replays on the third level in the demo, something's really wrong and this game will never be fun to play at this pace!
Just like its predecessor, Sakura Garden has a "Builder" feature that allows you to beautify your Sakura Garden with the Gems you earn while playing Mahjong. There are 138 Levels available which includes simplistic puzzles like Spot the Difference and Hidden Object Scenes.
You can earn up to 3-Stars per level (3-stars on puzzles if you don't use the Hint feature) and when you make matches quickly it will increase the Multiplier Index. Some levels have Presents or Gold Tiles to remove which ends the game once they are Matched, the final 2 matching tiles are also removed automatically. I find this feature annoying as well because it's just like Solitaire, I want the satisfaction of removing all of the tiles, not just some of them. You can replay the Mahjong levels to earn a better Star Rating, and you are given 5 Undo's, 5 Shuffles, and 5 Hints to start with, I'm assuming you can purchase more if necessary with the points you earn.

This is an old-fashioned HOG (hidden object game) crime-solving mystery where you search the same scene repeatedly to locate clues (vaguely) and solve the crime. This is an old-fashioned HOG (hidden object game) crime-solving mystery where you search the same scene repeatedly to locate clues (vaguely) and solve the crime. YES that was on purpose lol
Brave Giant Games has converted one of their f2p FB games to PC and the transition was well done, unlike some f2p games where most of the mechanics remain the same even though most are worthless on a PC version. BG is a developer I have a lot of respect for, some games they develop I don't enjoy as much as others, and this is one of them. I really liked the first Hidden Investigation game, but this one was way too easy and unfortunately, I was bored and relieved when the demo ended. The hidden object never changes position or location, and when playing in the Multiples of one object mode, those multiples are so large it's impossible to miss them. I also had issues with clicking on objects too fast to be accepted, which is ironic because you are supposed to awarded extra points for fast, consecutive clicking???
The goal is to Investigate the Crime by searching for the same objects in the same scene over and over until you "master" the level and earn the required 5-Stars to progress the investigation and unlock new scenes. Each time you investigate the scene, the Hidden Object mode is different, such as Standard Listed Items, Silhouetted Shapes, Multiples of the same object, or Scrambled Letter variations. The objects are easily recognizable and the scenes themselves are clear, you can left-click to zoom in, and then drag the scene around to search for items. There is a Hint feature that you aren't penalized for using but points are deducted for misclicks. The Magnet feature will collect any object on the list when you drag it around the scene but it takes a while to recharge. I had to use the Magnet on one of the Silhouetted Shape scenes in the demo and it didn't find anything when I scanned it across the top of the screen but before I could scan another area it went "poof" back to it's spot on the bottom left to recharge?
The faster you complete the level, the more points you'll earn, you can earn a full star or just a portion of a star depending on the amount of time it took you to complete the level. There's no Timer, it doesn't matter how long it takes you to complete a level, you won't run out of time and you aren't penalized, however, it'll take you longer to get to the 5-Star goal because you earn extra points for speed.
The Stars earned by completing the Hidden Object Scenes are used to examine evidence or solve the case, in the form of a mini-game. The mini-games are simple puzzles that only require a few steps, such as finding 3 areas on a map using a magnifying glass or dragging a top screen over the bottom screen to pair up the 2 shapes shown on the bottom left.
It would be nice if the items moved around a bit or changed position, it would be even nicer if the objects to find were randomly generated to make the game more challenging. The fast-clicking glitch needs to be addressed and so does the misspelling of items that have 2 meanings depending on how it's spelled (see location quote)

Welcome to The Little Shop of Horrors, you've come in Vain detective, this Bud is NOT for you! Mandrake has taken over the city of Oaksmor and killer plants are spreading their spores at a break-necked pace and spewing deadly poisonous pollen. Can the League spread their Light or will the Mandrake spread darkness and extinguish human life existence into oblivion?
If you like challenging puzzles and unique, entire room/scene hidden object scenes, you will love this game. If you don't enjoy the challenges you'll hate it. There's no middle ground, and I predicted this scenario the second I started playing it. You have to compare apples to apples, this is no ordinary HOPA game, the developers went out on a limb to try something different, so kudos to them, they are the only developers to have the ba@#s to try something new, so at least give the game a try before determining you don't like it solely based on the naysayer's reviews :)
I love that this developer took a risk with the format out of the norm, and yet slightly Retro. This is simply a Hidden Object Game with Mini-Games and a little bit of a story. You play a mini-game to unlock an area on the map (indicated by Green Gears) once the puzzle is solved, several Green arrows appear. Each Green Arrow is a whole scene Hidden Object Scene with 1-2 puzzles within. The Puzzles are fantastic, they are original, they are challenging, they are really, really fun! The HO's are creative, challenging and just as much fun as the puzzles, maybe more so! This is a long game because of the abundance of HO scenes, it has great replay value because of them too.
Collectibles (CE version only) There are 32 Collectible Owls located in the main scenes as well as the original Hidden Object Scenes. Most of the Owls are well-blended and can be tricky to spot. This has always been my favorite collectible and one I look forward to, so don't ever abandon these wide-eyed critters :) In my opinion, the CE version was more enjoyable because of the collectible Owls, vs, this SE version which doesn't have them.
Gadgets/Helpers: There is a Toxin Apparatus Gadget that is used 11 times with an associated mini-game (which I დ'd!) You complete Hidden Object Scenes to collect a specified number of Flowers in a Phial and place them in the apparatus which triggers a mini-game of connecting atoms of opposing color. The Toxin is then used to destroy the killer plant which is also collected for the final scenes.
Hidden Object Scenes: There are a whopping 49 Hidden Object Scenes +20 in the CE Bonus Chapter. If you have read my reviews you will know that I am rarely challenged by the HOP's nowadays because they have become nothing more than junkpiles with un-hidden objects in plain sight. These are beautiful scenes, creative scenes, entertaining scenes, and above all, they have items that are at times, crazy-hard to spot! The HOP scenes aren't located in a dark zoom zone corner of the room, they are the room, the entire room! They are mostly Interactive List Finds, but every time I thought they couldn't surprise me with something new, BAM! something new was right around the corner, items to locate on conveyor belts all over the room going in different directions, an open-doored elevator with items in the background as the elevator moved, creative HOP's following orders and recipes (not the usual stuff) Pollen-filled rooms that you click to push away pollen for brief periods, only to ooze back, Massive amounts of the same objects, such as 40 tiny Fleur-de-lis, or 30 sticks of dynamite... I looked forward to the HOP's for the first time in several years folks! Every original HOP has 1-2 puzzles to solve. In the CE version, every original scene has a Hidden Owl (Heads-up: don't forget to look for the collectible Owl as well on the scene where you collect 12 Owls, but only in the CE version) Towards the end of the game, some scenes are repeated because of a reinfestation. Those repeated scenes don't have puzzles or CE Owls (unless you didn't find it the first time)
Mini-Games: There are 32 Mini-Games +12 in the CE Bonus Chapter. These puzzles aren't for the faint of heart, they aren't impossible to solve, but most are tricky or require a little bit of thought (and sometimes several ⟳ resets lol) Nearly all Hidden Object Scenes have at least one puzzle, some have two, with the exception of the repeated scenes. There is a repetitive game associated with the Toxin Apparatus which requires connecting several atoms. I actually loved this puzzle that increased with difficulty each time! I can honestly say that I really enjoyed all of the puzzles offered, but here's a list of some of my favorite puzzles:
℧-Connect all Atoms with various openings (you can't connect identical colored atoms to each other) Used 11 times in the Main Game. ℧-Rotate individual disks & groups of disks until all yellow & all green pie sections are connected to each other as well as the central disks. ℧-Drag colored chains to free up spaces that allow the gold chain to be placed in its matching slot. ℧-Select chips and then a directional arrow to navigate to various exits that will close after a chip exits. (use other chips as bumpers) ℧-Place colored chips by trial & error, yellow means the chip is the correct color but in the wrong placement, green means the chip is the correct color & placement. ℧-Drag light beams across every star to light them up. ℧-Jump Scarabs on a pyramid to remove all but 1 scarab. ℧-Arrange statuettes by solving riddles for correct placement. ℧-Make specified numbers of connections for all numbered squares. ℧-Super Puzzle: solve a series of mechanical type puzzles.
Bonus Chapter (CE Version Only) Soon after ridding Oaksmor of Mandrake and her spore minions, Edward Nevell, the Scientist, receives a letter from Agent Jonas Thorn, asking for help his help when the invasion returns, but can he be trusted? There are 20 Hidden Object Scenes and 12 Mini-Games to keep you busy. There are no Collectible Owls in the Bonus Chapter.
Collector's Edition version Extra's: 24 beautiful Wallpapers, 36 Concept Art Pictures, 8 Music Videos, 6 Movie Video Cutscenes, 8 Achievements (6 with 3 categories) 1 Fresco Puzzle (FYI: can be completed at ANY time, even before playing the game, an achievement for completion) 32 Collectible Owls~1 in every scene including the HOP's (You can return to any scene to pick up missed Owls by clicking on the empty Owl slot in the collectibles Tab) 3 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

I wasn't a fan of the first Hermes game, Rescue Mission, but War of the Gods is an incredible Time Management game. The graphics are really, really good, and the tasks are so interesting that they hold your attention, so much so, that it becomes quite addicting and it's hard to stop playing! The quality is what makes this game, it doesn't need puzzle rune collectibles, morphs or hidden objects to bulk it up for quantity, it's just a great game that packs a punch full of solid entertainment, even the storyline is good!

I love the Olive Tree and Olive Grove food concept, and that production of the Olive Trees can be upgraded as well as the production buildings like Stone Quarries, Banks and Sawmills. There are unusual resources to collect or scavenge, like weapons and chariots, or you may need to plant specialty items for potion ingredients like cactus blossoms to ward off nightmares. Completed Game approximately 4.5 hours (including completion of all mini-games & CE Bonus Chapter) 18 Scene Locations +8 CE Bonus Chapter Difficulty Range: Beginner-Intermediate
Saltshore is doomed when the most ruthless pirate whoever ruled the salty seas, rises from the dead, to seek revenge. The detective has her job cut out for her trying to sift through the scallywags and the hornswoggler's to find out if the ghost of the pirate captain known as the "Storm of Seas" has really returned to the Reef of Death to enact revenge upon all who live.
Collectibles/Morphing Objects: (CE version only) Each scene has 2 of those famous 4Friends Opaque Collectibles (5 different Fish unlocked at 5-10-22-37-52) Each scene also has 2 Morphing Objects, some of the scene morphs are well-hidden, others have large, easily spotted objects.
Gadget/Helper: There is a Scottish Terrier dog named Patrick who is used 6 times during the main game, mostly to reach items only a dog can reach, dig holes, or chase away critters, but he is used in a mini-game-hidden object scene as well. There is an Amulet Gadget whose keeper explains the backstory of the Pirate Captain whenever you find and replace each of the 5 missing Crystals. The Amulet is used to "Stop" time so you can save yourself from the danger by playing a Hidden Objects Scene to find multiples of 2 different objects, and it is used 5 different times in the main chapter.
Hidden Object Scenes: There are 14 Hidden Object Scenes +6 in the CE Bonus Chapter. I wasn't impressed with any of the scenes which is one of the reason's I knocked off a star from my rating. The scenes were boring and the items were very easy to spot, once again, I found most of the items without looking at the list! There are Interactive List Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, Keywords in Sentence Finds, Replace Items, Spot the Difference Finds and a very simplistic and repetitive HOP associated with the Amulet Gadget where you are tasked with finding Multiples of 2 Items such as 5 Ropes, etc.
Mini-Games: There are 38 Mini-Games +7 in the CE Bonus Chapter. Thankfully, 4 Friends has abandoned my puzzle nemesis of 1 affects others (only 1 towards the end) Some of the puzzles are available in a Casual or Hard Mode of difficulty but honestly, most of the puzzles are easily solved on the first attempt.
Bonus Chapter: (CE version only) Karen Mulheron receives a letter from her fiance stating he is held prisoner on the Ghost Ship and gives her instructions to help free him in this average-length chapter that takes place over 8 Scene Locations. There are 7 Mini-Games and 6 Hidden Object Scenes and you will continue searching for 2 Opaque Fish and 2 Morphing Objects per scene (6 each) which will unlock the final 2 Fish in your aquarium.
Collector's Edition Extra's 6 Wallpapers (all w/characters) 12 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Screensavers (states SS's can't be downloaded unless I upgrade my Mac OS to an OS that BF warns me NOT to upgrade to because they haven't fixed the broket yet!!!???) 5 Music Soundtracks, 29 Movie Video Cutscenes, 15 Achievements, 10 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 14 Replayable Mini-Games, 52 Opaque Fish (2 per scene) 52 Morphing Objects (2 per scene) 4 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a Built-In Strategy Guide.
