Man, I wish they would change things up a bit in these games for those of us who own or have played more than one game by this developer because they are really good Match 3 games...IF you haven't played games 1-8! These Match 3 games may have an interesting story, amazing graphics, challenging obstacles, smooth Match 3 mechanics, interesting bonus power-up tools, clever builder aspects required to progress, and obtainable goals.
This is a swap type, Match 3 game that requires you swap two adjacent elements to create a group of at least three tiles. You can opt to play in a Relaxed, untimed mode and there is a High Scores Leaderboard. The goal of each level is to make matches over all of the Gold filled-in Cells as well as matching a specified number of specified Tiles that are shown at the top of the screen. Some levels also require you to collect Holy Spirit icons by dropping them to the bottom of the board. Some tiles Morph inside of a Bubble which allows you to pop the bubble when the jewel inside morphs to the desired jewel. I'm not sure why the morphing bubble tiles appear but I would suspect it's a reward for making a large match?
You don't earn Power-ups for making Large Matches, however, every match you make fills the Mana Meter, the larger the matches are, the faster it will charge. The good thing about this feature is that any of the power-ups can be used and refilled on any level, unlike some games where you have to wait until a level comes along that has a particular bonus tile to refill that power-up. The Hammer removes a single tile or chain, the Egyptian Bracelet will absorb a 4 tile radius of tiles or chains, the Crucible collects all tiles of the same kind, the Moses' Staff & Shepherd's Staff clears an entire Horizontal or Vertical Line including chained tiles, and the Stone Tablets clear a large group of tiles and any chains on them.
There are the normal obstructions as found in most Match 3 games of Chained tiles, Double Chained tiles, Spiders that spin webs to lock tiles if you don't make matches under them quickly enough, but nothing unusual or different than most Match 3 games, and certainly nothing different than other Match 3 games by this developer. You can purchase Videos of Moses' plight after gathering enough resources and you must purchase all videos to complete the chapter and open up the next Chapter's levels.

In all fairness, I'm a puzzle geek and my opinion will be far more critical because puzzles are my jam. This game is perfectly fine for those who like to play an occasional puzzle game for relaxation. When I saw that TGT was a Jigsaw Puzzle game that wasn't by the usual developer of mass cookie-cutter games, I thought my prayers had been answered, but I was really disappointed when I realized that I had to follow the puzzle chapters one by one, at least until I won the specified number of coins to unlock more. To make matters worse, the options were basically the same as that "other" developer's puzzles AND the puzzles were only available in 30, 48. and 99 pieces, at least in the demo portion of chapters 1-2. There's a jigsaw meme that says "I don't like to brag, but I just solved a puzzle in a week and the box said 3-5 years" Nuff said?
Let's start with the puzzles. There are 8 Chapters with varying levels. The pictures are decent, will save your progress and finished puzzles are downloadable, but you can only play selected puzzles until you earn enough coins to open up new chapters and even puzzles within the chapters themselves. As I stated earlier, it appears that you can only choose sizes of 30, 48 or 99 pieces, basically a child's size puzzle.
-There's Gold on the Ground 42 puzzles
-Together Across the World 48 puzzles
-Every Moment Matters 51 puzzles
-Believe in Yourself 54 puzzles
-It's A Beautiful World 57 puzzles
-The Warmest Place 60 puzzles
-Ah, Mother Nature 63 puzzles
-Good Ole Times 69 puzzles
There is a Daily Coin Reward that increases in increments for consecutively logging on. There is a Random Puzzle Tab and a Daily Puzzle Tab and 42 Achievements to earn. You can enable a custom cursor, choose from 9 backgrounds, enable piece rotation, enable a timer, a preview picture or ghosted image. The ghosted image isn't a ghosted image at all, it's just a background of the puzzle image, not opaque as it should be!
The puzzles allow you to Auto-solve (why? what's the point of watching the computer solve puzzles???) you can select the Border pieces, shuffle and sort, and there's a Hint button as well as a Zoom in or out feature. You can drag the screen around, but it doesn't allow you to select and drag multiple puzzle pieces to sort them manually, but then again, 99 pieces max doesn't require a lot of sorting lol.
Now for the options this game doesn't have and should! A feature that allows me to download my own images...a MUST HAVE feature! (most people like specific genres) A puzzle shape option including my personal favorite, ¼ square tiles to make the puzzle wicked challenging (no tabs or indents) because there are hundreds of puzzle shapes available! A size option that matters, I guarantee you, real puzzle geeks don't solve 30 piece puzzles, my custom puzzles start at 5000 pieces for computer versions and I won't bother with a real jigsaw under 2000 pieces. And it would be nice, but not a deal-breaker if the above options were available...A better sort option that allows you to fetch, label, and store, specific colors/shapes/borders, etc.

It looks like Moai 7 has a new developer, but it just didn't do it for me. I was super annoyed by the intrusive dialog boxes and tutorial boxes that kept popping up on top of where I was doing my Time Management thing. It was really distractive, why on earth didn't they place the dialog boxes at the bottom if they are going to continue the conversation after the level starts? I still want to read the story but not when it interferes with my score! I think the game is good, and they certainly need to work out a few kinks, but since they are new to the series, it's somewhat understandable.
There are 60 Levels and a whopping 52 Achievement Trophies to earn, and you can play in a Normal or Easy, Untimed Mode. They have added a Wheel of Luck feature to earn bonuses, emeralds, and resources, a feature that seems to be trending with TM games lately. (but unnecessary??) Each level has Treasure Chests available which contain valuable resources, and there are Haystacks with hidden treasures as well.
Items can be purchased in the Store with the Emeralds you earn playing. The Store items increase Workers Speed, Wood Chopping Speed, Increased Stone Mined, Faster River & Swamp Crossing, Increased Resources & Food, Increased Statue Production, Increased Iron Mined, Increased Merchant Trade, Decreased Pirate Demands, Increased Emaralds earned upon Level Completion, etc. Most of the items increase by percentages.
There are the standard Time Management tasks to remove obstructions and thorny weeds from pathways, fill in holes along the paths, plant crops for food, harvesting breadfruits, fishing for food, building sawmills and cutting palm trees for wood, quarries to produce stone, or iron, gold mines to build, repair destroyed property, fix broken bridges, collect resources, trade goods at the market and from merchants. Some of the building sites give you the choice of which building to construct, and you'll have to build them strategically in order to complete level goals. (and sometimes build for a period of time and then destroy and build a different type)
For me personally, it didn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy which is unusual because this is normally one of my favorite TM series :(

The BF synopsis claims this Standard Edition version has +20 Bonus Levels that were offered in the Collector's Edition version (where?) as well as the 32 Achievement Trophies, so other than a Strategy Guide, this version would appear to be the better value. It is strategy-based however, and I did use the SG several times while playing the CE version earlier, so I'm content with my purchase.
I wasn't a fan of the first Hermes game, Rescue Mission, but War of the Gods is an incredible Time Management game. The graphics are really, really good, and the tasks are so interesting that they hold your attention, so much so, that it becomes quite addicting and it's hard to stop playing! The quality is what makes this game, it doesn't need puzzle rune collectibles, morphs or hidden objects to bulk it up for quantity, it's just a great game that packs a punch full of solid entertainment, even the storyline is good!
You can play in a Relaxed (untimed) Mode, Novice, or Expert Mode of difficulty over 50 Main Levels (+20 CE Bonus Campaigns) with 32 Achievement Trophies to earn. The Collector's Edition version "Extra's" also includes 8 Music Soundtracks, 8 Concept Art Pictures, and a visual/audio Strategy Guide. There is a tab for 6 Collectibles available after completing the main game.
I love the Olive Tree and Olive Grove food concept, and that production of the Olive Trees can be upgraded as well as the production buildings like Stone Quarries, Banks and Sawmills. There are unusual resources to collect or scavenge, like weapons and chariots, or you may need to plant specialty items for potion ingredients like cactus blossoms to ward off nightmares. For me, including different tasks each level that isn't the same old, same old, been there done that kinda things, really did the trick, and made me want to keep playing because there was always something new to look forward to.
Bonuses have a unique feature of rebuilding the Olympic Village to accumulate the power of the gods by helping the local villagers and fighting enemies. Each repair will increase your powers in percentage increments, and each building can be repaired several times. The construction does take a while to complete, but you can continue to play and the bonuses will automatically take effect when complete. During some game levels, you can pick up various bonuses as well, such as Speeding up Production.
*Stadium: Workers Run Faster.
*Gymnasium: Workers Work Faster.
*Wrestling Hall: Reduces the time it takes Ares to defeat enemies.
*Olympic Flame Bowl: Reduces the cost of repairing Ares' base.
*Sacred Grove of Altidus: Olives will ripen faster.
*Olympic Temple of Zeus: Reduces the cost of temple repairs.
*Port of Champions: Reduces the cost of repairing the gods' altars.
*Hippodrome: Hermes runs faster.
If you're a Time Management fan, this is a must-have game. If you haven't played a TM game, or you played one and didn't like it, this game will certainly change your mind, yea, it's that good!

Jewel Match Solitaire games are the kind of games I know I'm going to buy the second I see it offered as tomorrow's game today. I don't even mind that they are first offered in a CE version, in fact, I love that they offer these games in a Collector's Edition version because they cram a ton of extra's into the game making it well worthy of the price difference!
This is a Higher/Lower Solitaire, however, as you progress, you will unlock 12 Different Solitaire Versions that are shown as Treasure Chests on the map and unlock with 10-25-40-80-120-160-210-270-330-400-480-520 Stars earned: Double Klondike~FreeCell Kings~Castles in Spain~Wasp~Beleguered Castle~Strategy~Easthaven~Stonewall Light~Busy Aces~Elise~Milligan Harp~FreeCell Six (You also get CE bonus games Napoleon's Retreat~Double Klondike by Threes~Blind Hookey~Tanana~ Double Freecell King~Double Pyramid) You will also unlock Mahjong Games shown as Oysters on the map at 18-32-60-100-140-160-290. That's a ton of bonus materials!
There are 200 main Solitaire Levels and you can play in a Normal Solitaire Mode, a Hard Mode with a Timer, and a Relaxed Mode which gives you more than one deal. There are 24 Achievement Trophies to earn and I do recommend that you read the Achievements before starting the game because there are a few that are awarded for selecting specific options, such as, choosing a Custom Cursor, Watching the Credits, Setting a Wallpaper, Replaying a Level, and even for Removing 5 Cards in 5 Seconds. There are 4 Card Backs to choose from (extra bonus cards in the CE version) and 3 Card Fonts but I wasn't crazy about the card graphics.

The goal is to Remove Cards that are either one Higher or one Lower than the Deck Card, and you get to remove all of the cards, not just special cards like some games! Each level requires you to Collect Emeralds which allows you to purchase underwater Castle Sections. When a Castle has been completed, you can set it as a Wallpaper. If you don't have enough Emeralds to purchase a Castle section, this step is bypassed. The Level Map will show you how many Emeralds are available on each level. Some Cards contain Coins that can be used in the Shop to purchase Power-ups and Wildcards. Combo's start at 5 Cards and each level gives you 1 Undo. You can earn up to 3-Stars per level and you can Replay the levels as often as you want to try to remove all of the Cards. I love that they sped up the score window, and stars earned, which pops up quickly to keep the game flowing. They also did away with the double-click feature requirement on the Deck Cards after making a Combo, so a big thank you to the devs for listening to us and implementing changes :)
There are several types of Obstacle Cards added as you progress. Lock Cards that require you to remove the Key Cards, Frozen Cards that require two Plays to remove, Chain Cards that require removing the Hammer Cards, Ribbons that require removing number specific Scissor Cards, Seaweed Cards that require removing the Sword Cards, Red and Black Seal Cards that require removing Red and Black Suit Cards, and Red and Black Suit Specific Cards that require removing Specific Suits of Cards, such as Clubs, Hearts, Diamonds or Spades.
Coins can be used in the Shop to purchase a Deck Card Counter~Earn Extra Gold~Remove a Random Card~Remove a Specific Card~Reveal some Face Down Cards~Extra Shuffle and Undo features~Card Specific Wildcards~Jokers, and the Chance to Receive Wildcards and Jokers during the Levels.
This Collector's Edition version has so many extra's you practically get another game because it includes over a hundred CE Solitaire Bonus Levels, 5 Extra Castle's and Wallpapers, 4 New Power-ups, 10 Music Soundtracks, 4 New Card Back Graphics, 24 Trophies +Extra Trophy Achievements, 6 Extra Bonus Levels Solitaire types (Napoleon's Retreat~Double Klondike by Threes~Blind Hookey~Tanana~ Double Freecell King~Double Pyramid) 50 Extra Mahjong Game Levels, and The Making Of which is a very interesting section that shows what all goes into making a Jewel Match Solitaire game. Whew, the extra's alone could qualify as a new standard game!

If you haven't played any of the Clear It games before you'll probably love Clear It 8 but the last several games are replicas of each other. The features are the same, the goals are the same, the power-ups and obstacles are the same, and I'm pretty sure the board layouts are the same, that's kind of lazy, isn't it?

After each level, if you have enabled the "Double Game" feature, you can select a card (1/4) that's hopefully higher than the dealer's card which doubles your points earned on that level only. It's not a very exciting feature, but it was more exciting than playing the game over and over??
The gameplay is simple, there is an unlimited number of colored orbs located on all four sides of the board, and all you need to do is select and click on an identical colored orb from one of the sides. The ball will travel in a straight line until it hits another orb (or power-up) If the selected orb hits another identical colored orb or orbs, they are removed, and the goal is to remove all orbs, and the next level begins immediately, that's one thing it has going for it, the need for speed!
Each level has power-ups that remain briefly, that when hit with an orb, is activated. The Rotation power-up shuffles and replaces orbs, the Star-Multi-colored Bombs-Trident power-ups eliminate several random orbs, Lightning and Fireball power-ups eliminate nearby orbs, and the numbers 1 or 5 allows you to choose which orbs to remove via crosshair targets (either 1 or 5 orbs)
Each level progresses in difficulty, as more orb colors are added, and fewer orbs in the desired color along the edges are offered. Sometimes you just have to sacrifice and add a few orbs to the equation, to be able to get to the desired colored orb, but because there's no time or moves limit it doesn't count against you.
Once again, I was disappointed that the rows and columns don't highlight because it's easy to shoot an orb from the wrong slot. There are the same obstacles as the last several games such as brick walls and glass thrown into the mixture, the same colored orbs with the same power-ups and features as the previous games. It gets pretty boring doing the same thing over and over, especially if you've played previous games in the series that are nearly identical!

I just took my second trip around the world, Mosaic-style, this time I visited Spain-China-Brazil-Russia-Egypt-South Africa-Greece, and Turkey, and I learned even more interesting fun facts after each completed level!
The coolest feature by far is that you can choose any Country you want to visit and then select whichever griddler you want within that country, you aren't stuck playing levels in a specific order! There are 8 different countries to visit and each country has 10 different theme-related puzzles to solve. Each griddler, within the country, is labeled to show you how many colors are used, as well as the Grid dimensions and eventually shows completed puzzle statistics such as the Time it took to complete, Stars earned, mistakes made, etc.
You can play in an Easy Mode which marks off cells one by one or a Hard Mode which crosses off the numbers once the entire column or row has been completed. You can also choose between 6 Tile shapes by clicking the settings icon and then choosing the "more options" icon. Another feature I liked, displays a large bubble with the number of cells when you click and drag longer segments. They have added a row and column highlight this time, which was really my biggest complaint on the first Around The World Mosaic game.
You can earn up to 3 stars, a star is deducted for each mistake made, however, there is an Undo feature available that gives you 5 free undo's and I'm assuming more can be purchased with the coins earned during gameplay but I haven't had to use them yet to find out. Although a star is deducted for making mistakes, it doesn't make you restart the puzzle after a set number because just for grins & giggles, I played an entire puzzle by placing X's on every row, 176 Mistakes on a single puzzle! There is also a Hint feature that gives you 5 freebies as well, but these grids are pretty easy and I doubt they will get used up.
After completing a mosaic you can read a Fun Fact about whatever image was completed, and you know how I love my random fun facts lol!

Completed Game approximately 6.0 Hours
(including completion of all puzzles, Bonus & Hidden Chapter)
*20 Scene Locations +7 CE Bonus Chapter (+1 HO hidden chapter scene)
Difficulty Range: Beginner
Family Photo:
Beatrice and her brother Alonso are children of Muses whose powers aren't as strong as their parents' so they use artifacts to inspire human emotions, an energy source needed to survive. Beatrice found her talent at a very young age, but Alonso struggled for years to find his talent. Nathaniel has been called to duty at the Guerra Gallery to investigate the strange disappearances of people who have mysteriously vanished shortly after being photographed. Has Alonso finally found his Muse Talent? Are his talents being used nefariously?
Gadget/Helper:
Nathaniel's Tattoo detects paranormal activity and is used 6 times during the Main Chapters. Each time the Tattoo is activated, you will play a mini-game puzzle variation such as a horizontal slider puzzle or rotating hexagonal puzzle pieces to complete the image. In the Bonus Chapter (CE version) Vanessa's Paint Brush Gadget replaces Nathaniels Tattoo and is used 3 times.
Morphing Objects/Collectibles (CE version only)
There are 54 Photos available, some are just normal photos, some morph into other objects, and there is a pull out tab to tell you how many are available in each scene. The photos combine into 5 Muse portraits collages when completed. There are 42 Zoom Zone Palettes that are used to purchase 12 different colors of paint to complete a Paint by Numbers masterpiece.
Hidden Object Scenes: (Match 3 Alternative available)
There are 13 Hidden Object Scenes +8 in the CE Bonus Chapter, including several smaller Zoom Zone HOPs. There are Interactive List Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, Swatches Finds, Placing pictures with cut-outs over the matching items in the scene, Keywords in Sentence Finds, Multiples of the Same Item Finds, Find & Replace, and Items that match Descriptions Finds. I hate to sound like a broken record, but the HOP's were boring, what happened to the amazing HOP's you had in the recent WS game?
Mini-Games:
There are 20 Mini-Games +6 in the CE Bonus Chapter, including 6 Tattoo-Gadget puzzle variations. Some of the games have multiple layers or multiple steps to complete. The mini-games aren't very challenging and Grandma needs to work on adding more of a variety as far as difficulty-range goes because not everyone is a novice HOPA gamer.
Bonus Chapter: New Start (CE version only)
Alonso has found his talent! Aunt Vanessa offers him a job teaching other children of muses the fine arts. His first assignment is to help a young girl named Jo who is much like Alonso, struggling to find her talent! This is a somewhat short and boring chapter that retraces most of your steps from the Main Chapter. Because you aren't playing as Nathaniel in the BC, the Tattoo Gadget isn't used, but Vanessa's Paint Brush is used 3 times by playing a hidden object game to find 6 different "traces" which are basically highlighted blobs. There are 7 scene locations with 6 additional Mini-Games and 8 Hidden Object Scenes (some of which are smaller zoom zone hops) You will pick up the remaining 9 Zoom Zone Palettes which Unlocks the Hidden Chapter Hidden Object Scene and allows you to purchase the final Paint Colors and complete the Paint by Numbers art. There are 14 Photo's remaining, some of which are Morphing Objects, You must locate all of the Palettes to unlock the Hidden Chapter, but I believe you can click on any missed Pallette in the CE extra's section to jump to the scene to search for them after completing the Bonus Chapter.
Hidden Chapter: Good Memories (CE version only)
After completing the Bonus Chapter, and locating all Palettes, you can access the Hidden Chapter titled Good Memories. Unlike Grandma's last Whispered Secrets masterpiece, this Hidden Chapter is nothing more than a single, one-and-done, Hidden Object Scene where you locate Listed Items on 4 tabs that reveal an object when all listed items are found on each tab. You then use those 4 objects interactively in the scene to complete the HOP. It isn't very creative and it was a huge disappointment especially when compared to their last game's Hidden Chapter!
Collector's Edition Extra's:
8 Wallpapers (all with Characters ὃ) 8 Concept Art Pictures, 29 Movie Cutscene Videos, 8 Music Soundtracks ♪, 11 Replayable Mini-Games♙, 11 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 Achievements, 54 Collectible Photos (some of which are Morphing Objects) The Photos create 5 different Muse Portrait Collages, 42 Zoom Zone Palettes that allows you to purchase 12 Paint Colors and complete a Paint by Numbers landscape picture, 5 Main Chapters (titled: Family Photo) +Bonus Chapter (titled: New Start) +Hidden Chapter (titled: Good Memories) The Hidden Chapter is just a simplistic Hidden Object Scene that can be completed in less than a minute and was a huge disappointment!! There is also a Built-In Strategy Guide.

Campgrounds IV is such a unique Time Management game and I buy them sight unseen, and have never been disappointed. When I discovered that each scene has a buried Map piece that unlocks a secret campground after reconstructing the map, I got even more excited! What a cool feature :) There are 6 map pieces to unlock the secret Jungle Campgrounds, 8 map pieces to unlock the secret Desert Campground, 9 map pieces to unlock the secret Mountains Campground, 7 map pieces to unlock the secret Mines Campground, 10 map pieces to unlock the secret Swamps Campground and 10 map pieces to unlock the secret Beaches Campground.
There are 50 Campsite Levels that can be played in an Untimed Mode, an Easy, Normal, or Hard difficulty Mode, and there are 18 Trophy Achievements to earn. The Collector's Edition extras include 20 Bonus Levels, and the 6 Secret Campground Levels with the Hidden Map Pieces, and a Strategy Guide.
Although you must clear paths to get to the campsites, there's not a whole lot of Resource gathering, instead, you build Factories and buy the resources needed in bulk. This is a multi-click type of TM game where you click on campsites and then a specific Tab.
~The Housing Tab allows you to choose from several options such as Tents, Campers, Cabins, resorts, etc. which depends on the level goals as to which one to build. Each "housing" type can be upgraded 3 times, each upgrade earns more rent than its predecessor. Buildings can also be Salvaged if it's no longer useful, allowing you to erect a new building or tent.
~The Buildings Tab allows you to build Factories for supplies, Farmhouses for food and other camp-related necessities, such as Playgrounds, Factories, and Farms, for example, allow you to buy supplies in bulk amounts, which you need in order to build and upgrade the tents.
Don't pass this one up folks, it's unique, it's super fun, it's challenging, and this CE has good value for the Hidden Map pieces that unlock Secret Campgrounds!

This isn't a very challenging Match 3 game, but it's decent enough to keep you entertained for a while. The tiles are very colorful and perfectly sized, there are various mini-games and hidden object scenes to break up the monotony and there are a ton of obstacles to overcome, it even has a bit of a Viking storyline to go along with it. So what's the problem? Nothing really, I just prefer more of a challenge, and this game is perfectly fine for whiling away the hours.
You can play in a Medium or Hard Difficulty Mode (both give you plenty of time) or a Relaxed, Untimed Mode and there are 3 Cursor options as well as 35 Achievements to earn. After each level, you can choose 1/5 Mugs to earn extra resources or coins which are used to build your Viking Camp. You'll earn up to 3-Stars per level, and you can replay levels in which you earn 2-Stars or less. The Coins you earn can be used to purchase various Upgrades in the Shop at a specific level interval, such as a Daggar to remove a tile of your choice.
Large matches will reward you with a Bomb, the larger the match, the bigger the Bomb. There seems to be a ton of large match opportunities, thus, there's a ton of Bomb's to explode which is one of the reasons the game seems less challenging. Some levels simply require matching a ton of a single specific tile, such as Blueberries. I found these levels to be flat out boring because that resource is in abundance and there's no obstacles to have to overcome. The board layouts are mostly square with no hard to reach nooks or crannies to drive you mad. (which I actually prefer :)
As you progress, Obstacles are added that require making matches of whichever tile is trapped with Ice Blocks, for example, others require making adjacent matches to bust through Earth, Snow, or Wooden Walls. After a few Match 3 levels, you get to play a Hidden Object Scene or mini-game, such as Solitaire.
It's a decent Match 3 game, it's an easy-breezy kind of game with the usual features, nothing really special about it, but it's not a bad game by any means.
I recommend this game!
