It was a good game with great graphics. The story made sense from start to finish which seems to be rare these days. I think the puzzles were extremely easy, though. But I'd recommend it nonetheless.

This is based on the full SE game. This was just an OK game with very little challenge. The hidden objects weren't hidden and the puzzles were not puzzling. It was not even close to any of the previous Grim Tales games. I don't think I would recommend this to anyone that has any experience playing games. Maybe for a beginner it would be OK.

This is not a good game. The story is OK, but the mini games are atrocious and the basic game play is even worse. I have played the other games in this series and they were OK but this one hit rock bottom. Do not buy this.
I tried to like this but I just could not. There were way too many games where they just didn't make sense or were just busy times. For instance, you had to turn all of the squares green by pressing on the red ones. There was no skill involved and you just circled around trying to change the colors. There may have been some method to the madness but on a large grid, it was just a huge time suck. And then there were puzzles that were just idiotic. Placing a fuse and then seeing if it was in the right spot. You could just pick it up and exchange it with another one. Again, there was no skill involved. Just busy work. Finding the collectibles was also ridiculous. The map would tell you that there was a collectible in the area but not which of the three. So hunting for a piece of paper that didn't look like anything, but was supposed to be a prescription or part of a manuscript, was a waste of time. As a huge puzzle fan, I am disappointed that I could not get behind this one as there were quite a few puzzles. I got to the second chapter and threw in the towel. I have only done this on one other game in the 17 years I have been playing these games. I would not recommend this.
This is one of the longest games I have played in a while. The puzzles are really good but some might find them a little difficult. But there are plenty of video walkthroughs on YouTube. I know because I had to use them a couple of times. The map is not complete as far as I can tell. The locations where something needs to be done shows up, but mine did not show if there was a collectible still in the scene. I ended the game with only about 2/3 of them. But you can go back and get them. It's likely that you'll use the map a LOT since there is a LOT of back and forth. One other thing that I found a little odd was that you would see an item in a location but you could not pick it up. It was only after you completed a task that the item became active. But I had a great time with this!!!
Now this is a puzzle lovers dream game. This was soooo good. In each of the "doors" there were some hard puzzles and some not too hard puzzles but there were certainly a lot of them. I loved it!!!
Whatever this game is, it is NOT MCF. I have no idea what they were trying to make but it fell really short of a good MCF game (think Dire Grove and Ravenhearst).
This game moved all over the place - jumping through mirrors to different locations and then back. I had no idea what was going on and what all of these places had to do with trying to find the kids. It was just bizarre.
At one time I must have accomplished all of the tasks but I didn't find the last jigsaw piece, yet. Too bad. It automatically moved me out of the location. That's nonsense.
The puzzles and HOPs were nothing to write home about. Not hard. Not easy. Just an exercise in using your mouse.

This was so slow that I got angry at it. I only did part of the demo because I could not bring myself to do the whole thing. If I had done the full 90 minutes, I would be in a white padded room with a jacket that belted in the back (with a purple crayon). Geez. AND it doesn't play full screen. I haven't seen that since like 2014. Ugh.
This is like playing games from years and years ago. First of all, you couldn't use a custom setting and had to see sparkles on everything. I do NOT want them but there's no way around them. The graphics are old school and the tasks are ridiculous. There is NO thinking involved. I couldn't even make it through the demo. I think the storyline could have been interesting if I could have kept playing.
This was released years ago but I am just now playing it. I have to say that it beats a LOT of the current games by a longshot! The story is great. The graphics are good. The puzzles are awesome!
