You have to rescue your daughter from the undead Captain Remington who has been brought back to life thru your museum show. Really short for a CE (5 hours, casual). Could not find any bonus gameplay. Great graphics and VOS. HOS not too frequent, and mostly easy. Puzzles were intriguing. Slow switching scenes. Otherwise, a fun game and kept me interested all the way thru.

Rescue Monica from the Bates, I mean, Penumbra, Motel. Very good story, great VOS with real actors. NO HOS. Seek and find, which is great. There is a diary and movie reels to watch and a really scary Doberman ghost dog. Skip button real slow. Puzzles are kinda hard.Nice music, good graphics. Not a real long game for a CE, even with the bonus chapter, but well worth watching. I finished it in a little under 6 hours. Just don't go in the shower.. seriously, the bathroom is filthy.

Good storyline, great VOS. Love that little imp who looks like he's 90 years old. Nice graphics. A lot of HOS, interactive, mostly small and a hard to see without the big eye. Worth a play, as it is a good length (5 hours casual for me.)

Loved the first one, but HOS were tiny. This game corrected that problem for the most part, and added interactive objects. Defeat the warlock and save the children. Great graphics and special effects with lots of cool, eerie noises. VOS good. Loved the one liners, like: "rarely do I meet a door that isn't locked". Good length, took me over 5 hours on casual mode.

Great storyline with the wanna be knight trying to slay the dragon so he can get the princess. No character VOS, which is a shame, as the characters have some really snappy repartee. HOS are very clear and interactive. Good puzzles and nice music. Great graphics. A really enjoyable 4 hours of fun.

You have to find your sister, who has gone back to the island where you both went to school, and free her from a mysterious enemy. Good story. HOS clear and simple. Puzzles are a bit hard. Nice music. Cute little helper, Boilerplate. Not quite 4 hours on casual mode.

Did the last game first, loved it, and this one was really good, too. You have to find the amulet pieces to unfreeze the castle residents from the latest spell (this witch sure does get around, don't she!). Be sure to collect the mirrors in HO scenes for more hints. HOS very clear and interactive and some are put backs, which are really cool. Great graphics, storyline and VOS. My time: casual 4 hours.

It is more like 4.5 rating. Great story line, loved the three parts. You have to put souls to rest for three ghosts. Nice graphics, VOS, and music. Everything very well done except for the HOS: eyestrain time. Very cluttered and some things so small couldnt even see with a magnifier. To be continued, so I will try the sequel, altho it is reviewed as very short. My time: 6 hours. Definitely worth playing for the story alone.

I played the 3rd sequel first, and loved it. Most of the reviews for this one said it was short, which it was. The spell that has to be broken is that a curse has turned the inhabitants of the castle into stone. Great graphics, and VOS. HOS were really jumbled and hard to see even with a magnifier. Nice puzzles. Be sure to collect all the mirrors, as they increase your hints, which are limited. A good game. Glad I got it on sale, tho. My time: about 4 hours.

Kind of an odd story: an agent is sent to this hospital to investigate anonomalies. Turns out a bunch of experiments were done on injured soldiers that turned them into monsters. The agent's job is to find all the monsters and destroy them and save the world. Not a lot of HOS, but the ones there were pretty clear. VOS, but only as background info. Music perfect for the game, eerie and frantic. Good graphics. My time: 4.25 hours.
