But I still like the game. I have a soft spot for this developer because the first solitaire game and the first mosaics game I played were from this developer. They actually gave me my love for mosaics and this particular outlay of solitaire. There are far better solitaire games, but I like that this one is free of a lot of bells and whistles. The extras are sometimes so overdone that they detract from my enjoyment of the game. With that said, I do wish the dev would address the complaints made by other reviewers. The fact that they never do makes me think two things: 1) either they could care less what their players think -- which is pretty foolish if they want our money, or 2) all of their programmers have quit or been fired because they're broke, and all they have are the same old blueprints that they use over and over and make some minor adjustments to.
Some of the early games use to have different backdrops for each level, then they started repeating the same backdrop throughout the game. Again, don't they have any professionals on staff that can actually make some changes to what came before? Another thing is that some of their artwork in their games is unfinished and doesn't match the name of the level at all. Once again I wonder if they just don't care or if they've lost all their competent staff. Or maybe they actually dislike their players so much that they enjoy poking their fingers in our eyes and depend on new players who haven't caught on to the fact that they just put out the same game over and over. Even though I like this game and developer, I still don't recommend it to anyone but newcomers.
Again, I actually like these games and continue to buy them. So far, the artwork has been pretty in this game, but it's the same solitaire boards that they always use. I really hope they will put the suggestions other reviewers have requested into practice. They'll sell a lot more games and get a lot more positive feedback of their work if they do that. They do seem to have addressed a few of the complaints over time. Some of their games aren't so stingy with the number of cards they give, and I for one am very grateful for that. But please, address the other complaints -- for your sake and ours. If you do, I promise to buy all of your games and give you positive, 5-star reviews and praise the fact you finally made the long-requested changes.

I liked the first few games in this series. They were really charming and had variety. The last several games have just been the same game over and over. Items are even in the same places. In the first scene, the kaleidoscope, binoculars, stars, and several other items were in the same places that they were in the previous game. I didn't even have to look for them. I knew right where they were. That's just stamping out games with a cookie cutter. This one is a no for me. Unless something new is added to these games, I won't buy more of them, and I've bought every game in this series.
I love "Inspector Parker" and "Series of Unfortunate Events." "Inspector Parker" is in my top 10 favorite games of all times based on the number of times I have replayed it. This game is like those two games. It is pure deduction and that is my favorite type of game. Even though I don't like the subject and am tired of "witch" games, even at Halloween, I am buying this one because these types of games are few and far between. I recommend it with a warning that it is a challenging game. It gets much easier once you understand how it works.

I recently played the first game. I had not enjoyed the free trial when the game was released and had never purchased it. It was offered as a special recently, and I bought it. I'm so glad I did because it was a wonderful game. So when this new game in the series came out a day later, I snapped it up without playing it. I never do that, but took a chance. I'm glad I did because I loved everything about this game. The artwork and atmosphere were great, and I enjoyed the storyline. I hope we get more of these games, and that is why I am reviewing this. There are some who didn't enjoy this game, but others have, and it would be a shame if this series ended. Please bring us more, but try not to take so long between releases next time, and please make the game longer! These are way too short! In fact, the short length almost caused me to remove one star. It only took four hours to complete, and that is not enough game play for a CE.
I really like this developer. Their Pixel Art games are enjoyable, but they have never felt like paint-by-number to me. This is what I was looking for. This is paint by number. All that's missing is a brush and a palette. The colors are beautiful. The end results are beautiful. Thanks for this game. I'm loving it!
I haven't bought many games lately, but this one is a buy for me. I love this developer. As usual, the music in the game is very relaxing--as is the game itself. One of the things I like about this developer is that they listen to their players. The first game in this series was too easy. They heard the complaints and remedied that in the second one. I was about the replay both games in this series, but this came out today. Now I'll wait to replay those until I finish this new one. I love paint by numbers, and this is paint by numbers -- though it doesn't really feel like it to me. I wish in the next game they would offer a brush pointer and a color layout that actually looks like an artist's palette. Thanks for the new pixel art. I'm loving it.

I don't believe Pennmom36 mentioned this, so either I missed it or she didn't run into this problem. When I played the demo, the first column was almost entirely covered with a brown strip. It made it very difficult to play the game. I buy every one of these games, but this one is a nonstarter because of that flaw. I love this developer, and they put out a lot of mosaic games, but it's their Pixel Art games I wish they'd make more of.
That old MCF magic is back! You're not in Huntsville anymore, but you might feel like you are. Fun characters from the past (and fun movie references, too, such as Casablanca and Back to the Future). In fact, I thought this game was just fun all around. The first PC game I ever played was the original Ravenhearst. The second was Huntsville. MCF Rewind is a nostalgic visit to the past, and a reminder of why I started playing games in the first place. However, if you do not like a game filled with HOS, you will not like this; but, if you enjoyed the original MCF games and format, this is the game for you. I love the Rube Goldberg puzzles, and this has plenty of them. It also has a lot of humor, a well-written diary, and amusing notes from Victor. Thanks Eipix for the tricks and treats. Really enjoyed them.
Some games are self evident. This game is not. I couldn't even figure out how to exit the game. Very confusing to understand what it wanted me to do. I appreciate the talent and hard work of the developers, but this game was not fun for me. I uninstalled it almost immediately. I'm sure others will understand this game and find it fun and challenging. I just found it frustrating. I wish the game success, but I won't be purchasing the full version or looking for Fish Tycoon 1.
I had cancelled my game account because I just wasn't enjoying games anymore. They all seemed to be the same game. However, I just reinstated my account so I could buy this particular griddler. I know the ratings are low on this, but I really liked this griddler. The 8 Floor griddlers are among the most challenging, and that is because they don't have multiple colors. They have made some changes though, such as showing completed puzzle images so you know what you solved. It's not so easy to tell what some images are since there are no additional colors, but at least the guesswork has been eliminated now. They still don't bother with a storyline, which is why I gave the game a 4 instead of a 5. I know some players would like additional colors. The puzzles would certainly be easier. When there are different colors, it makes the puzzle more visually appealing, but unless you have trouble distinguishing colors - which I sometimes do - having additional colors generally makes the puzzle easier. So, it's good that these griddlers are available for people who really want a challenge. If I don't want a challenge, I'll play a griddler with multiple colors or solitaire, but if I want a challenging griddler, 8 Floor is one of the best for that.
