I absolutely loved the storyline...a nice diversion from other games i have played. I was hooked after the prequel (which was a surprise, as I thought I was playing the main game).
It isn't the most challenging game I have played but the inventory items made sense (this is a bit of a bug bear of mine...lol) and there were not too many HOS and lots of puzzles.
As others have said the storyline draws you in, so it can't fail to entertain in that case!
I recommend this game!

Just finished playing this and loved it!
The storyline is good and has an interesting twist. The graphics are fine and the music, whilst the usual 'spooky' soundtrack type, I switch off anyway so that wasn't an issue either.
What I loved, was that it was interesting to play. There are a variety of mini games and it is not all HOS. The HOS there are, are pitched just right in that they are not so obscure that you get annoyed nor too easy that you wonder why you bothered..lol.
There are lots of different locations and although no map, I didn't feel like I was constantly back tracking or forgetting where I was supposed to go next. Also, unlike some games I have played recently the inventory items and the use of them actually made sense.
The bonus chapter shows events that happened years early so that was a fun element too.
All in all a very entertaining game and worth investing in the CE.
I recommend this game!

Overall I enjoyed this game. The story line is good and the graphics very good.
The HOS are straightforward 'find the item', i.e. no interactive items, but most of them are quite challenging which made a nice change. The mini-games are fun and fairly easy.
There are several locations to visit and revisit and no map but I didn't find that a problem as there are not too many of them so it is fairly easy to remember what is where.
I thought the length of the game was fairly short compared to some and am glad therefore that I bought the SE rather than the CE.
Enertaining nonetheless.
I recommend this game!

I bought the game after reading all the fab reviews but was a bit disappointed. I normally don't mind going backwards and forwards through scenes but this one had so much of it that it started to get annoying. Also if you don't play the game in one go, I found that I forgot where things were. The puzzles were challenging but not interesting, nor was the storyline. The HOS were however good, neither too easy nor too hard.
Lastly some of the inventory items and how you used them were rather baffling.....a feather to open a venus fly trap? Hmmm...maybe its just me!
I don't recommend this game.

I really enjoyed this game. Great graphics, can't comment on the sound as I don't turn it on. Interesting storyline and very different HOS which made a nice change. You do have to back track a lot throughout the game and remember what was needed where, but I felt that this added to the challenge. The mini games were also challenging so all in all a good brain workout..lol.
I recommend this game!
