I enjoyed this one. The storyline was a little different, the graphics were okay and I wanted to find the stone and see what happened next...lol!
The HOS were straightforward and although a few too many for me, I didn't mind as was enjoying the adventure. The puzzles were not too stretching either.
There is no map so you do have to try and remember where you need to go back to as not all the puzzles are solvable right away.
All in all a good game which is fun to play without being frustratingly difficult or too easy.
A new breed of virus has spread throughout the City of Oxford. You must search the city for a missing girl who holds the key to stopping the global epidemic!
This review is based on the demo which I did play to the end. After reading all the fab reviews I thought I would love it, but I found it just okay.
The storyline didn't really grab me, there were too many cut scenes and I must admit I am not a fan of the 'real life' graphics. There was also an annoying black screen 'pause' between each change of scene.
I did like the HOS which were very interactive and required thought and the puzzles were also on the whole good.
Its the sort of game I would only buy as a SE, but others will disagree I am sure.
The main game was fabulous. Loved the mystical storyline, fab graphics, not too many HOS and challenging puzzles!
The only negative for me was the bonus chapter which was quite short and a bit of a re-hash of the main game with too many HOS. That said I have to give it 5 stars overall as the main game was so exceptional.
Once upon a time in the small, undistinguished town of Silentville people started disappearing. Help uncover the mystery behind these disappearances and save the town from a curse!
Played 3/4 of the demo then deleted the game as just wasn't getting in to it at all.
The graphics were okay, but too many cut scenes which didn't add much to the story in my opinion,
The HOS were a bit different in that you have to find the missing pieces of objects to make the whole, so quite enjoyed the first few but then got a bit bored with it. The puzzles were too easy by far!
I found this game completely addictive. No it wasn't difficult and there was plenty of tooing and froing, but the visuals and storyline had me hooked....big thumbs up!
This game was right up my street. Was a bit concerned about the storyline to begin with ( Missing children does give me the creeps), but it was more supernaturnal than spooky and I knew I was going to save them so that bothered me a lot less than I thought.
The graphics were really good, the HOS were balanced and some items so well hidden that they did provide a challenge, which was a welcome change. The puzzles stretched me and were varied so again fab.
The story kept me interested right to the end, and in to the bonus game which although short provided a nice twist in the tale.
The game in total took me about 3-4 hours, which is good as I do play quite quickly, so all in all a very enjoyable and worthwhile game to play!
Excellent.........long game plus bonus chapter, plenty of challenge, not too many HOS and a good story! Can't ask for more really! "ish all games were like this one!
