When Hector, Demon Hunter for hire, agreed to save a lost tourist from the haunted Museum of Mysticism and Monstrosity, he never imagined that he could be the one in need of saving.
The graphics are great. Everywhere is crystal clear to see and to find the items you need. There is a good creepy feeling to the game and an urgency to find out what happened. Sound is good and the music is mainly orchestral.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward, silhouette and find a certain amount of one item (eg: feathers). Items to find are clear to see and they had quite a good challenge to them. However, if you feel like a change, then you can play Shuffle instead.
I enjoyed the mini-games. There are a good variety and some really do make you think. However, none of them are too hard or take too long, so you can get back to the game fairly quickly.
So do you get the CE or SE? The bonus is a sequel leading up to what happened, there are 24 Achievements; finding 28 crystals and 28 morphs (1 of each in each scene in main game only); and 8 replayable HOPs and 8 replayable mini-games.
All up the game and bonus took me about 5 hours playing over the course of the week. I thoroughly enjoyed it too.
Overall this game is so worth playing. Thank you Boris and the team - I always look forward to your stories.
Once again you play Rick Rogers. In the main game you need to find out what happened to Tina Rise and in the bonus its about locating Mika and Dean, a journalist and her cameraman.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Custom modes; * Interactive map; * Achievements Board; * 13 replayable HOPs and 13 replayable mini-games; * Finding morphs, statuettes and eyes in each scene.
The graphics are terrific and very well defined. Items you need are easy to find and use. Colours are good, even in dark scenes. The music is mainly orchestral and piano.
The hidden object games are mainly interactive straightforward, silhouette, find one item, then put one item back and finding 10 of an item. These are all very easy to do because items are clear to see and/or use.
I thought some of the mini-games were quite challenging - you know the ones where you have to rotate tiles to get a picture or move tiles to get to a certain point. Personally I thought these had been ramped up a bit and I really enjoyed them. Some of these took me a long time to do.
In each scene there is a morph, an eye and sometimes a statuette to find. The morphs and statuettes are easy to find, however the eyes are a little harder to see because they blend into the scenery well. I enjoyed doing these.
All up the game and took me about 6 hours or so to play, so good value for money.
Overall, this game is definitely worth putting in your collection. There is plenty to do in each scene, some of the puzzles are challenging and there is a good sense of urgency to find out what happens.
When Hector, Demon Hunter for hire, agreed to save a lost tourist from the haunted Museum of Mysticism and Monstrosity, he never imagined that he could be the one in need of saving.
This is a terrific game and definitely worth putting in your collection. You once again play Hector Cole who has to save your partner Carol. The bonus is a sequel leading up to what happened. There is:
* Casual, Advance, Expert and Custom modes; * Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Interactive map; * 24 Achievements; * Diary; * Find 28 crystals and 28 morphs (main game only); * 8 replayable HOPs and 8 replayable mini-games.

There are 28 crystals and 28 morphs to find (one crystal and one morph in each scene) in the main game only. These are relatively easy to spot, however I always made sure I did these first in each scene just to make sure I got them.
I managed to get 23 achievements. The one I missed out on was doing a mini-game in under a minute, so I'll try and get that one when I play again next time.
All up the game and bonus took me about 5 hours playing over the course of the week. I thoroughly enjoyed it too.
Overall this game is so worth playing. Thank you Boris and the team - I always look forward to your stories.
This is a very easy game to play and is perfect for beginners or if you just want to chill out. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue) but its quite sporatic; * Relaxed and Timed modes; * 10 trophies; * 200 levels; * Extra HOPs and spot the difference games.
The graphics are gorgeous and each tile is easy to identify which makes it so much more fun playing the game. You can carry on playing while tiles are falling and I loved the explosions and the sound of breaking chains, etc.
You will also have fight scenes to play where you have to beat the baddies. You are able to get extra health, weapons, etc while you are playing. I enjoyed doing these.
There are a few hidden object games to play which are straightforward and spot the difference. These are very easy to do.
Your aim throughout the game is to get 3 stars for each level and to get all the trophies. This is very easy to accomplish and I managed to get both without any effort. I thought the game would get harder, especially after level 100, but this was not so.
You can restart the level at any time, especially if you feel you are not going to get 3 stars. However, the timer is very generous, so you won't have to do this often.
At the end of the game you can start again if you wish, however there was no point for me as I already had accomplished everything.
All up the game took me about 5 hours to play. I enjoyed the game but feel that I couldn't play it again as it was just too easy.
Overall, if you feel like chilling out and want to play this in between the big games we play, then this game is perfect.
(Sorry, still singing that song while writing this). Yes, this is another terrific Halloween game. In this game you play Jen who has to rescue your little sister, Mary. There are a huge amount of tasks to undertake in each scene, so please get comfortable.
The graphics are extremely well done. Most scenes are somber and muted, but well defined, and items you need are easy to locate. I loved going through each scene never knowing what to expect next.
Sound and music are great with lots of creepy noises and whispering. It definitely added to the ambience of the game and I had it up very loud - to the point that I had family members asking me what the heck am I playing!!
There are a good variety of hidden object games - straightforward, silhouette and finding a certain amount of one object. These were fun to do.
I enjoyed the mini-games which ranged from easy to medium. Some took me longer to do - you know the ones where you have to rotate rings, tiles, etc to get in the right order. None are too hard or boring.
So do you get the CE or SE? The bonus game is about you once again rescuing Mary - or the alter ego of Mary where Delihah ripped them apart and now she serves evil. There are 20 Achievements, a secret room with 14 replayable mini-games and 16 repayable HOPs and also you will need to find 12 character figurines, 24 morphs and 32 fragmented newspaper articles throughout the game and bonus. My preference - get the Collectors Edition.
All up the game and bonus took me about 6 hours to play and I enjoyed every minute of it. There is so much to do in each scene, however you don't wander off too far and its easy to remember where tasks are to do.
Overall, a fantastic and creepy game to play for Halloween. Elephant did a terrific job, so well done devs.
This is quite a good game and worth playing in between those large adventure and HOP games that we play to give you a break. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Relaxed, Challenge and Timed modes; * 18 trophies to earn; * Book with Tutorial, Goals,Trophies and Levels; * Daily surprise.
You have Erik and Annabelle to keep you company throughout the game, who will tell you your goals and what you need to accomplish to build the city.
The graphics are very good - with each tile easy to see. Sound is good and the music is on a loop, but its pleasant to listen to.
You can pick between Relaxed (unlimited moves), Challenged (limited moves) and Timed (race against the clock). Casual mode has less obstacles and more power-ups and the Expert mode has more obstacles and less power-ups. You can change these modes at any time and not be penalised.
I played on Expert mode and Timed. However, I found the Timed mode to be a bit stingy, especially on the big boards. If you run out of time then you pay 20 diamonds to earn 20 extra seconds, which I found I needed a lot.
If you find that Timed mode isn't working for a particular board, then switch over to Challenge (limited moves) or vice versa. That's how I got through to the end of the game. Levels 80 to 100 do get pretty intense and it took me most of the week to get them done.
The tiles falling could be a bit sluggish at times and I found I was locking up my keyboard because I was going too fast for the game. The constant loading is a bit annoying as well, but not a deal breaker.
Overall I quite enjoyed the game and it was fun to build the city. I liked the daily surprise - like extra diamonds, etc - its a nice way to start the game.
Comes recommended. If you just feel like chilling out and playing in between the big games we play, then play Relaxed - especially after Level 80.

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS

There are 12 figurines, 24 morphs and 32 fragmented newspaper pieces to find throughout the game and bonus. These are easy to spot and you can just grab them on your way. Just as well because you will be locating and undertaking a lot of other tasks. This is a very busy game.
The bonus game is about you once again rescuing Mary - or the alter ego of Mary where Delihah ripped them apart and now she serves evil. I enjoyed this as well.
All up the game took me about 6 hours to play and I enjoyed every minute of it. There is so much to do in each scene, however you don't wander off too far and its easy to remember where tasks are to do.
Overall, a fantastic and creepy game to play for Halloween. Elephant did a terrific job, so well done devs.
I really enjoyed the game. There's plenty to do in each scene and there is a sense of urgency to find out what's going to happen next. In this game you play Tom Gilbert to rescue Margaret and to find out what had happened to your father. There is:
The graphics are very good, with each scene clear and precise to find the items needed. Sound is good and the music is fast orchestral.
The hidden object games are slightly interactive straightforward, finding pairs and finding 12 items of the same thing. These are very easy to do and each one only takes a few minutes.
The mini-games ranged from easy to medium and I was able to do them all without any problem. I enjoyed doing these and, if you are a beginner, then these mini-games will be good practice to gain experience.
So do you get the CE or SE? The bonus game carries straight on from the main game and I think you play Daria. There are 9 Achievements (6 with 3 circles each), find 12 characters (these are easy to spot) and 22 hearts (FINALLY, a game where there was a good challenge to these). At the end of the game you get is to put together a jigsaw puzzle which only take about 5 minutes or so.
All up the game took me about 4-5 hours to do. I was sad when it finished because I was really enjoying it.
Overall, definitely worth having a look at. Happy playing fishies.

There are 22 hearts to find throughout the main game. FINALLY, a game where there was a good challenge to them. One could be etched on a board, a rope on the floor or a leaf. So look for something that looks like a heart. Some of them took me ages to find. Get them all and you get an achievement.
Finding the 12 characters is easy and you will get these without any problem.
This time, I managed to get all the achievements. The last achievement to get is to put together a jigsaw puzzle which only take about 5 minutes or so.
All up the game took me about 4-5 hours to do. I was sad when it finished because I was really enjoying it.
Overall, definitely worth having a look at. Happy playing fishies.
The graphics are very good and each scene is clear and precise to find the items you need. Colours are muted with lots of greys and greens (no garish blues or purples).
The music is orchestral medieval and lovely to listen to throughout the game.
The hidden object games are straightforward, silhouette and find one item to use to find another, etc. These are easy to do because items are clear to see. Each HOP takes only a few minues to do.
The mini-games are mainly very easy and it doesn't take long to get back to the game, which is good because I was enjoying the story.
There are fighting scenes where you have to pass through all of the lines of complex grids. These start off easy but get harder as you progress through the game. The last one at the end of the main games took me ages. However, they are all very accomplishable.
So, do you get the CE or SE? The bonus is about bringing Badrik to justice, there are 18 Achievements, 14 replayable mini-games and 14 replayable HOPs, finding 29 morphs in the main game and 11 morphs in the bonus. Either one you choose, you are in for a treat.
All up the game and bonus took me about 5 hours. In all honesty I could have played 5 more. I loved the story line, the English accents were real and I felt part of the game, rather than just clicking my way through.
This game definitely comes recommend and so worth putting in your collection.
