This certainly doesn't Qualify as an Adventure Game
Even though it has a story...
It is one HOS after another with a few Very EASY puzzles

Easy puzzles...

in the Bonus gameplay...

I don't recommend this game.
After using a secret alias to board the Titanic, things go terribly wrong and you find yourself trapped among the wreckage. In order to earn freedom from your watery tomb you must appease your captor by re-writing history and freeing the spirits trapped aboard the 'unsinkable' luxury liner as well as discover why fate has chosen this destiny for you.

If I set out to play this like it was an Adventure Game..
I would have not liked it very much..
But I consider Hidden Mysteries Games to be pretty much HOGS...
I am not a fan of most HOGS or HO scenes in Adventure Games...

For me a story or lack thereof can make or break a game..
If you rate a game mostly based on challanging mini puzzles
or on up to the minute graphics
this game may not be for you...
I only totally liked the steam pipe puzzle...
otherwise I found the mini games too easy
and one was repeated over and over ...
Annoying...
But nothing that took away from the gameplay for me...

When Houdini’s promises of contact from beyond go unkept, his wife comes to you in a final plea to unravel his mysterious passing.

I was Most Impressed with the research and effort put into this game...
I am a Houdini fan and know a lot about his life...
This game is fairly historically accurate
with a bit of Imagination and "What If" thrown in...
Using Sir Doyle (the Author and Creator of
Sherlock Holmes)as a character in the game
and Exploring possibilities of what might have happened..
Made for a Great Story...
Sir Doyle and Houdini did in fact have a friendship in RL
and their break up was gossip at the time...
Spiritualism was very popular with many folks
back in those days...
and even the Cottingley Fairy Fiasco is worked into the story...
Doyle was apparently a believer in Spiritualism...
and of course Houdini was out to prove it all Bunk!
