This is so fun! Normally I'm not a fan of match 3 but purchased this because of the Halloween theme. Idea is to accumulate gold to fix up a haunted house. Music is appropriate to the game and not the least distracting from the game play (like some is) and so far not the least hard to play. Always play casual until I get onto a game and once I finish will replay in timed. If you want a fun alternative to the latest offerings of nothing but doom, gloom and hideous faces and creatures this is for you.
Just OK - haven't completed the game but haven't a clue what the purpose of it is. Music is nice but other than that a rather dull match three - power ups help but are rather pricey and accumulation of coins is slow.
So maybe something to do when bored with doom, gloom and hideous faces which seems to be the norm on BFG these days. Really wish they'd come up with something fun!
Have to admit I bought this to fill in my punch card to earn a free game and am thoroughly enjoying it! It's not the least difficult, I enjoy the little figures running around accomplishing tasks and one of the best features it's a long game - we fishies do like our money's worth!
So if you want a time management that's not the least challenging, easy and gives you a break from doom, gloom and mind binders this is recommended!
Have to agree with other reviewers this is really another Laruaville with the same goals and game play. One advantage tho if you own the Laruaville games it's to your advantage since you'll know how to play this game.
Have to admit I did enjoy the "haunted house" music which doesn't distract from the game and this is a game I go back to periodically when I need a no brain-drain game. Characters are well drawn and if you know what you're doing you can progress rapidly.
Definitely a challenge! Have numerous solitaire games and pride myself on being a pro but this is challenging and in the first section have had to replay levels which is a bruise to the ego but that's what makes games fun. It's the usual one up-one down solitaire with some mini games (not my favorites) which can be skipped and each level has a certain amount of cards with ball icons that have to be cleared to win the level.
Finally a decent solitaire game which poses a challenge and fun to play.
I love solitaire games and so far am enjoying this one. Imagine it will get more challenging as the game goes on but for now there's really not much to do. You have to clear the cards with either shells or starfish to win the level and as you progress each level requires more required cards. Otherwise just solitaire as usual. Nothing to build, HOS, etc. like other solitaire games coming out.
Good game if you just want relaxation and no real challenge.
Saw some negative reviews but think this is from some who immediately go into timed mode on a game - rather than casual - until they're familiar with it. Like the fact you can choose between doing either levels or solitaire (my passion), the music is fun and doesn't detract from the game and the instructions are easy to follow. Can construct buildings, play solitaire and otherwise enjoy it! Don't usually like match 3 but this was worth the cost and am having lots of fun playing it.
I love solitaire games but I do like a bit of a challenge. This really didn't have one. Basic solitaire game similar to Legends of Solitaire Curse of the Dragons with high-low cards. Good game if you just want something easy, soothing and no doom and gloom.
The only reason I bought this as a "collector's edition" was it was on the 65% off offer. I can't see any difference in this game from the other Hercules (all of which I own and was hoping for something new). Pretty much same format and same game play with a few differences being the stumps that continually supply wood. Music at times is annoying. It's enjoyable if you want a no-brainer game for relaxation other than that nothing different. The only ones getting "fleeced" are the fishies who paid full collector's edition price - wait for the SE.
