I have all six of these games and like them only on this one was bombarded with bombs which tho helpful at times were constantly getting in the way, you still get the 24/25 score which made it longer to build something so wish they would "up the ante" so to speak and wish they would have a skip for some of the mini games. I like the cards not find the difference in panels.
Other than that the game is cheerful and colorful, love the music and keeping the fire going is a real challenge which I like.
Normally I'm not a Mahjong fan but love anything fish so decided to try this and glad I did. For the amateur Mahjong player like me this was a very easy game, the music was soothing and not intrusive to the play and love the swimming fish and rippling water. Such a nice change from doom and gloom or "mind benders." Hope they do a fishjong 2!
Much the same game play and goals as previous five games. Like the morphing power ups but otherwise pretty much the same as the others. A good game if you don't want a lot of mental stress but like another previewer think they need to come up with some new ideas.
Will recommend it for anyone wanting just relaxation from doom and gloom.
Couldn't really work up a lot of enthusiasm for this game. Love solitaire but found this game a tad annoying especially the music which of course you can mute, was choppy and uneven moving around, had to keep hitting next button several times to get to the next level, got especially annoyed having to get hatchet cards to chop wood off certain cards and cartoonish graphics.
Too bad because a good idea was there but got lost in the shuffle.
I purchased this game awhile back and played it again and found I hadn't left a review.
PROS: Fun fixing up a "haunted house" and enjoyed the match 3 and purchasing power ups which as you upgraded them really helped to move the game along.
CONS: It's maddening as the game progresses dealing with the levels where the kids come for candy. Constant sitting in there clearing off one requirement then along come two more with an idiotic amount of items being needed which at times aren't there until you remove other pieces. This was very time consuming and took away the enjoyment otherwise of the game.
Was not sure if I wanted to recommend this or not but cons may not bother some players just be warned.
I have the other Park Ranger games which I really enjoy. Problem with this is a mini game after every level which gets boring after awhile so I go off and do something else until I'm able to skip.
Otherwise love the nature scenes, finding the wildlife and the trash; definitely a challenge.
I love these Park Ranger games and was hoping there would be a 6! Follows the same game play as 1-5 but still fun with the HOS's (which aren't easy at times but that makes a fun challenge), enjoy most of the mini games tho I'm not particularly a mini game fan, music is light and not intrusive and the scenes make me wish I was out in the woods camping by a lake.
Am really enjoying this game which is on the order of Labours of Hercules and Viking Brothers - collect supplies, gather the puzzle pieces to open bonus games and generally running around which is to me so much fun after all this doom and gloom we get these days. Don't really agree with it being a CE but after buying and playing don't begrudge the cost.
Only thing I don't like is I can't get it to come off full screen but a minor irritant.
The usual solitaire with some rather horrid levels that I had to play over and over but you accumulate funds fast to buy "Zombie Zappers," and other helpful items and game seems to go very fast tho it's not a short game.
My only dislike is you don't have an undo function which is annoying but otherwise is worth the money.
But like several of the reviewers have no idea why this is a CE. Game play is exactly like the original, very slow paced in some areas where you want to get a move on and some of the goals (i.e., collect supplies) aren't particularly clear as to how much. As games go it's fine when you get tired of more complicated games but other than that nothing special.
