First the game already had my name when I logged on & then when I started playing it was like deja vu. Fortunately it didn't take me long to realize that I had beta tested the game a while back. I had a birthday 3 days ago & becoming 45ish, again, has taken its toll on my little grey cells...LOL
I really like the game. It has lovely clear, crisp graphics & characters that actually look like real humans. VO were good & especially liked the robot who as just "hanging" around.
Storyline moved along quite nicely. HOS/puzzles were interactive & hint button also transported you.
Fact cards are easy to find. Found 2 morphing items quite by accident, as I usually do. I normally am not on the look out for extraneous items to be found, as I am not really interested in finding them, so I will probably wait for the SE to come out.
The story may say Oregon but the graphics are strictly European. The hotel reception area is very reminiscent of another game set in a hotel. Devs get an F for originality.
I found the game quite boring without any WOW factor, just the same old, same old storyline. Same graphics, cartoonish art work & VERY annoying background music.
I especially like the molecule that was stuck in ice. The devs suspended reality for a moment & wanted us to believe that, while the ice was sitting on the counter, it was still frozen without being in the freezer.
Just another nondescript game. Definitely try before you buy.
Not a bad game but there is a lot of back & forth. As usual, it's a rehashed story of some expedition getting in trouble & the "detective" has to sort it all out.
Usual BLUE graphics & wooden characters. Where is the animation/realism in these games? There seems to no pride taken in making these games. They seem to be made in the hurry up & crank it out mode without respect to making it a quality product. The quality control department needs to do their job!!!!!
HOS/Puzzles are fairly interesting with some variety. Music was ok & not as annoying as usual.
The "stars" are quite easy to find & the morphing objects seem to stand out a little than they usually do.
I love ELF but find the fur coat/hat wearing frog is just a little too creepy for my tastes.
Try the demo & decide for yourself. As for me, I just might wait for the SE to come out.
Same old rehashed story about someone taking a new job then goes missing do to town/people hiding some kind of nefarious secret which you have to ferret out.
Old school cartoon drawings with the same blue hue that seems to show up in all games. The rest of the scene is dark, dreary & not clean or crisp.
VO are good but the lip movement just looks like a lot of gum flapping without coordination with what the words that are being spoken.
HOS/puzzles are somewhat interesting. Hint button has a jump map which is quite nice. Music was boring with the same cords played over & over again.
Only found the first crystal & found the rest not so easy too find because of how dark the scenes are.
Loved the helper. He/she was well behaved & did not wiggle or jump around the scene. He/she also helped without even being asked which I found quite nice for a change.
Like a re-run you've seen a hundred times, enough is enough!!!
Maybe I'm just getting to old. I found this game NOT the least bit scary/creepy & a little slow/boring. This just seems to be another rehashed kidnap/torment someone for someone else's demented/twisted mind story.
Too my surprise the HOS/Puzzles are quite good & of a much better caliber than the usual tripe that is presented.
The graphics were grainy & the journal that pops up, way too often, alongside the right side of the screen is most annoying.
I found some of the spiral/morphing objects but that still wasn't enough to keep me engaged with this game.
Just another copy-cat "thriller" without any thrill!!!!!
I don't recommend this game.

Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Tracks of Terror Collector's Edition
Can werewolves be cured, or will one family’s curse continue?
I am not a big fan of this series. I find it too be a kind of boring/repetitive/endless back & forth game. The werewolf genre is dreary & overused. The graphics are old school dark/murky paintings without dimension or realism & the characters are wooden with questionable voiceovers. Scenes are not clean or crisp which makes the background muddy & difficult to make out. HOS are interactive silhouettes/word list & the puzzles are the usual tripe without challenge or originality. Just a dreadful, nondescript kind of game that you definitely need to demo before you buy.
What a boring, repetitive storyline. It's as scary as a bowl of quivering Jell-0 & seems a bit contrived.
It seems like the same devs work on all of the games no matter which company is producing it. The storylines & graphics are the same game after game ad nauseum. Doesn't anyone have any new or original story/puzzle/HOS ideas????
Graphics are monotone, murky, muddy & dark. No realism, just the same cartoonish drawings.
Characters are wooden/one dimensional but VO seem ok.
Music, for once, wasn't overpowering but the constant rain/thunder/annoying sound effects were a bit much.
HOS were interactive with the usual messy junk pile presentation.
Puzzles were of the swap pieces or twirl the rings to form picture variety. The instructions could have been a little more instructional! Some puzzles just didn't make sense. Hate Match 3 so didn't try it.
As usual, found 1 morphing object quite by accident but never did find any collectibles. I don't even know what is suppose to be collected.
Map & Hint transports you to new scenes which is handy.
Just found the game dreary & not to my liking. Demo it before you buy.
Murder mysteries are usually my favorite genre but this game just plods along.
The characters, when speaking, are quite lifelike but the rest of the graphics are flat, murky, cartoonish drawings.
I turn down the music so it does not become intrusive.
HOG are interactive & the puzzles are quite easy.
I use the custom setting so I can turn the hint/skip buttons to 10 seconds & don't have to wait around for the silly globe to fill.
There is an evidence/message board which has a ! sign that vibrates when something is added. I found it to be a bit distracting.
Usual morphing objects which, as usual, I found by accident. I never did find any snow globes but then again I wasn't looking for them.
I might consider buying the SE version as I have come to the conclusion I really don't need to find morphing/hidden objects & the bonus game is usually not that great to warrant a higher price for a game.
Even though the game was not all that great I always want to know "Who Dun It"!!!
When I saw the creature on the opening page I knew this was NOT going to be a good game.
Same old rehashed story of a creature coming through a mirror & taking someone. This time it's your daughter.
Graphics are old school paintings. Characters are wooden & lifeless. I turned the music/volume down so did not hear any of the VO. There is an awful lot of dialogue to read.
No custom setting option so the hint took f o r e v e r to fill. Most annoying was the fact that the hint button used all of its energy just to point you in the right direction & not even show you where something needed to be done. So you had to wait for the refill to continue unless you were able to figure something out on your own. Did not see an option for sparkles with the hint button.
Usual messy, cluttered HOS with some interaction. Puzzles were ok but nothing special.
Try the demo as you may like the game. For me, I could only stand the game for a short while & then get out of the "contract" as quickly as I could. Where's a good screen freeze when you need it????????????
