It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?

Review more for expert players
As many people have already said the graphics are good, nice voice overs, decent music and a different kind of storyline for a change. You are still looking for a missing child (no surprise there) and this game leans toward Mothers with small children. Now don't let that throw you off because this game does have more to offer. In the beginning there is a great deal of talking (especially in the demo) but this tapers off fast once you get into the game a bit. Things move at a good pace, interactive hidden object scenes and decent puzzles. I did not give this 5 stars because the puzzles were easy to intermediate but they were different. During game play working out how to use the objects you find is, well very simple. Keep a sharp eye out for flowers as you collect them throughout the game, when you have enough it will open scenes in the special Pantheon. But that was kind of a let down as you are mostly replaying old HO scenes. The bonus round was ok, a bit short.
I ran this game on my PC and did not have any problems.
To sum up..
Good graphics, good voice overs
Easy Puzzles with a few intermediate
Decent length
Not a challenge for expert players
Some fresh puzzles!
I did like the game!
I recommend this game!

Review on Full Game in Hard Mode
Ok, you need to know this first...the game is very short. I used a coupon and am glad I did. I finished it in about 3 hours. ( Including demo hour) I have been playing these games for years, so some games I go through fast. So if you are an expert player I think you will do the same. But aside from that the game was fun for me. There is no huge challenge here, but the game did surprise me a few times. (Yeah!) The puzzle's were different and amusing but not hard, easy to intermediate. The music was very good but played only at certain times. Mostly you had background noises. The plot is the usual, you are a detective and looking for a kidnapped child- Ho- hum there. It is a dark game in theme. The graphic's are nice and clear and had a lot of detail on certain scenes but seemed to be lacking in others.
A few of the hidden objects scenes were fresh with some different ideas. The game play itself is straight forward and easy. Sometimes a bit slow as things did not move fast. I did not have any glitches or problems running the game on my PC. In the demo the Tasks menu comes up a lot and was annoying but after the first hour it (thankfully) did not pop up as much. I do not know where the game was developed but I did not come across any incorrect translations! even if it was a bit wordy. The game does have an older feel about it. I am not sure when it came out.
This is a good game for a novice or for someone who is looking something a little quirky and relaxing.
I recommend this game!

Sorry guys but this game was so predictable. I mean how many times do we need to find the same stuff game after game.... locate a bucket for a well to get water to put out a fire, find rungs for a ladder, a statue missing armour etc. The game play was Very Easy and the puzzles almost insultingly simple. The graphics are good but super shiny that looks one dimensional. The music was ok...until a little way into the game and it became downright annoying. I could not get into caring about the plot at all. It felt so contrived and labored. The game became a bit cartoonish for me. (Spoiler) After freeing the prisoner he turns into some magician that looks like a game character from some 90's Japanese anime film. I guess that will appease 15 year old boys. Being an adult I need more from a game than this one can offer. If you are like me and getting tired of easy games you finish in hours, and you like to work and solve out problems .....pass on this one.
I don't recommend this game.

Played the full game hard mode.
The graphics are good, nice music and interactive HO scenes with a little bit of a twist. The story could have been good but just kinda fell off the wagon and died. I did like the steam punk theme a great deal and you had to collect steam bugs throughout the game but they were very easy to spot. The puzzles are super simple ( no great surprise as that seems to be the norm now days) and working to solve problems was so easy it was boring. I had a hard time deciding on what star to give this game as it would be good for younger children or people new to playing HOG's, but after thinking about the story I decided it was 2 stars.
A game for novice players or children
I don't recommend this game.

Played the full game.
The graphics are lovely and there is lots to do...I mean lots, and lots, and lots....it gets repetitive. Rooms are full with things to do, too much to do. It is not a challenge in the sense you have to think things out, as in puzzles and creative ways to solve problems It is a challenge to remember where everything is. You need a zipper pull, you find a zipper pull next step. You need a key, you get a key. Now what room needed a key as I have 20 items in my inventory and 10 rooms that are active with 4 or 5 actions per room. The puzzles are easy. It's just chasing items around and around. I like the length, story was good but I have to disagree with the majority here. I did not like it and was just praying for it to end. I want to be challenged and think things out, not just stuff piled on top of stuff to do without working to solve anything.
I don't recommend this game.

Very good story, great graphics and pro voice overs. You do get what you pay for here. Nice long game, awesome bonus chapter and...(drum roll).. a bonus secret room! Good clear HOGs and from time to time you had to work on what the next step was during game play. The only drawback for me personally is that the puzzles are super easy. I wish when you hit "hard" mode they would not only remove sparkles and hints but also make the puzzles more difficult. That way people of many levels could play the same game. Really do like the game. I think you will too, give it a try.
I recommend this game!

Bought the CE and it was worth the extra money. Nice long bonus chapter. Good graphics, decent story. Very good music. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the puzzles are on the easy side.

Ok, there is no big challenge here but the story is very sweet and a bit different. I played this over the 4th of July . It is only a few hours long but was great for a relaxing game for the holiday. If you want to get away from the usual doom and gloom HOG's for something pleasant this is a good one. The puzzles are on the easy side, the graphics good but a bit shiny, the music goes well and the voice overs are nice. If you have a free coupon and want something easy but pleasing this is a good one. Also a great game for the novice player.
I recommend this game!
