What a fantastic game!! the graphics are so fluid it's feels like you're playing in real time. I've seen some ratings that say the graphics are fuzzy?! Perhaps it's time to buy those much needed glasses because I was totally entranced by the graphics and they were clear and crisp. But it was the movement of doing tasks that really grabbed me. The layered HOS's and puzzles were fun and surprisingly different from the latest fare in recent games. AND a protagonist not willing to give up his riches for any moral good reason. Well done 4Friends,you are the developer to watch.....let's hope I don't have to eat those words. A definite buy and worth the full price.
Great game! The plot that everyone loves 'Overcoming the Monsters". Out of all the bonfire stories, this is my favorite. Graphics are great - there seems to be this trend for graphics becoming more fluid, story is intense, puzzles HOS's are interesting and fun. The collectibles are really hard to find - yayyyy. Worth the full price.
I never thought I would see the day that the Witches Legacy series would die such a painful death and that Elefun would sell out. Same puzzles over and over with just a - slightly different spin. Same HOS's with a - slightly different spin. I really should have gone with Sunnyglows review (and she rarely gives a bad review), but I just didn't believe it would be THAT bad. But yup it was bad. No extras....none... lame stuff when CE's first were brought on the scene. 3, just 3 measly chapters. I'm pretty sure gamers would pay for a great game, but I'm beginning to realize that a 'great game' does not only not exist but this is all there is to offer in our Genre of gaming. Because it would require a whole new vision and if were still getting these sorry versions of Adventures then that tells me there is no new vision. I can replay games over and over from 2011, 2012, 2013 and even some in 2014 because they are still that interesting but after that just cookie cutters and scenes used from other games over and over. same stories, same characters, same helpers, same, same, same. Don't waste your money on this one.
Great game!! I love Mystery Trackers, it's always something interesting and fun. I'm disappointed that there was no puzzle to do at the end nor a 'real' secret room' as I've come to expect. Had I known I would not have a puzzle to do at the end I would not have bothered finding the puzzle pieces. I mean who doesn't LOVE putting together a picture puzzle!!?! (that's not really a question). And the only reason I have given 4 stars instead of the usual 5.
This game was certainly better than some of Eipix games I have played. I found the puzzles extremely difficult and far too long some of them. Great for those who are expert gamers - clearly I am not. The graphics got ridiculous with the pasted cut out head on the woman in the trailer......really? so cheesy and sloppy. Maybe it was meant for comic relief in a game filled with tension.....fail, it just really annoyed me. I know quite a bit about hypnosis and you can't make anyone do something that is against their morals or ethics - but then some of us do have some pretty loose morals and ethics. Ordering someone to kill them self tho is especially difficult, our survival instincts kick in on that one. Lizard brain is still very much alive in most everyone. However, the brain can be tricked into doing just about anything. I was really disappointed that there was no 'shut the achievements off' button - I really dislike those popups. I don't care how fast or how better or how short or how long or how anything I did was - ever. please bring it back. A great game for those who like this kind of thing and difficult to solve or long drawn out puzzles.
This was a lot of fun to play. So many things to do in every scene. Really caught and kept my interest. l played the puzzles in hard mode and was pleasantly surprised that I could solve them all. They were more entertaining than difficult. I generally don't identify as an expert gamer, more somewhere in the middle, sometimes smarter than the average bear. I usually don't have the patience for the more difficult puzzles. So this was very fun to play. Finding the morphing objects, momentos, and puzzle pieces was challenging, they were not easily seen.
Loved it! Eipix really put a lot of thought into this game. A really true nod to the originals with a little bit of every MCF game in it. I chose the 2nd option of difficulty and it was for the most part challenging. I haven't tried it yet in the hardest mode so some things may be different than the difficulty I chose to play in. The HOS's were great but there was too much detail given on items to find which made it easy to find them - whereas in the originals you had to really be on your toes to find the items as the descriptions were more vague. I'm not sure if it was a glitch but in chapters 8 and 9 my keys made themselves....?? Some of the puzzles were really challenging however the door ones were quite easy. I was a bit disappointed that the rest of the chapters HOS's weren't as detailed with hidden puzzles within as the first one. Still a lot of fun and I definitely will be playing it again - in the hardest option. This game was worth the full price. I think that you really have to be a true fan of MCF to appreciate the thought and work put into this game.Thank you Eipix and Big Fish for this wonderful trip into the past.
What a fantastic fun game!!! Really enjoyed playing. Felt like every HOS was different in some way, puzzles galore - some were very challenging other's not- but it was a great mix. I couldn't stop playing. Also, really liked the back and forth, kept me on my game. Graphics were beautiful if a little overwhelming, which I don't mind as it made it more challenging to find the play area and the hidden items - although the puzzle pieces were easy to find. This game was perfect for me and seeing the ratings from other players seems the feeling was mutual. I do love fantasy and it was another great spin on 'Alice in Wonderland". Keep them coming BF. The top game for this year for me and the current favorite and one I look forward to playing again.
This was a great game and really challenging. However, the sarcastic remarks when not choosing the correct task really marred the otherwise pleasurable adventure. I'm guessing that's why the CE wasn't offered. Which is too bad because I would have liked to see a different ending - which I'm also guessing was a happier outcome to the relationship between the elf and the princess. I really hate unfinished business in the end. So if you don't like those kind of endings don't buy the game. I'm really torn on whether to recommend the game just based on the constant annoying sarcastic comments when doing tasks. So if you can ignore or find that kind of thing funny then buy the game cause it really is a good game.
