Review is based on ENTIRE game. I really loved this!!! I've played the first two Twisted Land games, and this prequel was awesome. Also appreciated that it was offered as a standard edition first. The SE is a complete game, with the ending included. If you liked the first two games, you'll like this one as well !!!!
I recommend this game!

WOW...I just finished playing this entire game, and it was wonderful! I was so excited that the standard edition came out first, and boy, do you get your money's worth! The graphics are EXCELLENT and the hidden object scenes are beautiful. There aren't actually many HO scenes, this is mainly an adventure/puzzle game. The hint button fills quickly. I admit, the puzzles were a bit hard for me, but thank goodness the SKIP button was fast. The storyline was great, I hardly ever knew what was going to happen next. Do yourself a favor and at least give the game a trial try !!!
I recommend this game!

This is about the best game I've ever played, and I've played a lot of HOG/adventure games! Great story, the hidden object scenes are well done, clear graphics and not too hard. The puzzles, I admit, were a little too hard for me, but the skip button is FAST. The cursor was slow and stuttery, BUT I switched to "system cursor" and everything was okay!!! Even the credits at the end were pretty funny. If you have any doubts, download the trial hour.....I'm pretty sure you'll be hooked!!
I recommend this game!

I just finished playing the game, and I really enjoyed it. It is a good mix of hidden object and adventure, which I like. Some of the cut-scenes are kinda scary, but there are some well-lit locations that even it out. The flashlight is not necessary in most areas (Whew!) It seemed like a nice long game to me. I hardly ever use the hint button to point me in the right direction. That's part of the adventure! And a few times I thought the game was drawing to a close, but then whole new locations would open up.
Even if you didn't like the first Shiver game, at least give this a try...you might be surprised!
I recommend this game!
