WOW. I just finished this game and just have to review it !!
It is a wonderful story and so much fun to play...I didn't want it to end.

When the original version came out some years ago, I tried the demo and wanted to buy the game so bad, but the hint and skip button were so slow, and I am terrible at mini-games.
But NOW, this re-mastered version has updated to a FAST SKIP and HINT option!!! In fact, it has the CUSTOM option for playing that is the norm nowadays.
I totally recommend this game to all !!!

I've just finished this game a few minutes ago, and it was WONDERFUL. It had beautiful graphics, just right for a Christmas game. I found the game to be plenty challenging, because I played with NO black-bar hints. It really put my old brain to work, but in a good way!
I took my time and enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere, but even still it seemed to be quite a long game...well worth the money!
I thought the bonus chapter was brilliant. Thank you so much, ERS and Big Fish Games, for this delightful Christmastime adventure!!!
I recommend this game!

WONDERFUL GAME!!!! I played the Collector's Edition, and this is one of the best games I've ever played, and I've played a lot of them! I found it plenty challenging, as I opted for no black bar hints.
It was perfect in every way....fun to play, great graphics, good hidden object scenes, MANY locations to explore, a custom setting for difficulty, and words large enough to read without straining the eyes.
Also, it is one of the longest games I've played, worth every dollar !!! Thank you so much ERS and Big Fish Games!!!

This was a truly WONDERFUL game!! And quite long, which I love. I have played the previous "League of Light" game, and also "Mystery of the Ancients: Three Guardians" by this same developer. They all were amazing!! To add to what's already been mentioned in reviews....The print size of the words is large enough NOT to cause eyestrain. This is a huge deal for those of us with older eyes. Also, the game may start out a bit simply, but it DOES get more challenging as you get into the game. It certainly does pull you into the story, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND all three of these games!!
I recommend this game!

Guests keep disappearing from a gimmicky haunted hotel. Is there someone pulling the strings, or are these ghosts actually real?

I've been waiting for this game since doing the beta test months ago! And it did not disappoint. At first the graphics seemed too dark, but then I remembered to use the gamma control in options, and it was just fine. I LOVE the fact that the skip button (on casual setting) is faster than it used to be. Since I'm not good at puzzles, and these puzzles are hard!
I found the game challenging, even more so as the game went along, the same as the one before this, "Eclipse".
The game seemed plenty long too me, although I take my time and try not to use the hint button unless I'm really stuck as to what to do next. VERY HAPPY!!!
I recommend this game!

EXCELLENT!!!!! I've just finished the bonus chapter and WOW, this was one of the funnest games I've ever played!
It had me gripped from the first few minutes and never let up until I finished. Grim Tales are one of my favorite series ever.

Other reviewers have mentioned the great graphics and storyline, so I just want to add that I LOVE that the developer has shortened the skip time for puzzles on the casual setting. I am not very good at the puzzles anyhow, and this developer has hard puzzles in my opinion. So I appreciate not having to sit back and twiddle my thumbs while waiting for skip button to be available. And as always I appreciate that the words are large enough to see with my older eyes. Thank you Big Fish!!
Oh, and the game seemed plenty long to me, and I love their long games...truly worth the money spent!!

I played the Collector's Edition, and this is a terrific game! It is a FANTASTIC and LONG adventure!!
There are MANY places to explore, the hidden object scenes were great. They were fun without being a strain on my older eyes. I had no glitches at all. The puzzles were too hard for me, but thank goodness for the skip button! I'm not at all good with puzzles. I finished re-playing the game yesterday, and it was just as fun!!
The graphics are very good, and colorful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!

Have just finished playing the game and REALLY enjoyed it, just as I enjoyed the first Riddles of Fate game. My only small disappointment was the short Bonus play, but the game itself was quite long. MONEY WELL SPENT!! Others have mentioned that the puzzle games were too easy, but I actually found them pretty hard and had to skip a lot of them. But then I'm not good at puzzles.
I have NOT run into any glitches at all, although I am not one who's big on achievements and collectibles, so I don't know about that. The strategy guide was very helpful, it got me past any parts where I was stuck. Happy gaming!
I recommend this game!
The town of Green Hill has really gone to the birds!

I played the Collector's Edition of this game and it was AWESOME! Others have already mentioned the beautiful graphics, so I'll just add that the PRINT-SIZE and object size is large enough to be seen even by older eyes like mine. Which is great, because this is a long and fantastic game. Absolutely loved the hidden object scenes, and most of the puzzles. I'm not very good at puzzles, but I was able to do a lot of them and they were FUN! The storyline is exceptional and there is tons to do. ENJOY!!
I recommend this game!
