Loved the game the story was so engaging! I loved unraveling the mystery of the missing until the very end. The graphics were amazing and I am so happy to see casual games elevating their gameplay. Even though this game was an HO they didnt overwhelm me with them so I was able to finish the game in 2 days. I was so sad when it was over, because games like this one are so rare to play.
I really enjoyed playing this game due to the variety of puzzles and the storyline. Its a continuation of the first Dark Realms, but you don't need to play it in order to understand what's going on. To be honest I much prefer this one to the predecessor, which was not as good. The game flowed well and I was excited to continue to the game! Not really challenging since I had it on the hardest level and I never wanted to use the hint button, but there were a couple of times when I would have to stop and think.
I was disappointed with this game, but it was not due to gameplay. I liked the puzzles they were a nod towards the original which I really enjoyed. I just think the story line has taken a weird turn that I don't like. The story was so weird and disjointed. I would suggest this game for those who started the series and want to finish it or those who want to play some interesting puzzles. Besides that I wouldn't suggest this game to anyone else since its just ....weird and not in a good way.
I really enjoyed this game and I really liked the bonus game. Getting the collectors edition was actually a plus since it helped you understand some things from the main game. The puzzles were good. I never had to skip a puzzle or use my hint, but there were times where I had to think hard about what I should do next. I also liked the morphing objects and the hidden roses in the scenes. I wish they would have continued that into the bonus chapter.
I really wanted to play this game after reading all of the great reviews, but I must say it is a tad overrated. The storyline is okay but super predictable and the puzzles are the average type. Nothing really struck me as unique about this game besides the nice graphics.
This game is one of the first HOG games I have ever played and it is definitely a great introduction into the genre. Enigmatis has a wonderful story and the graphics for the time and even now have a nice creepy edge to them. I love the sequel to the game and I wish they would come out with another since this developer is obviously doing something right! Great game with good puzzles and a evidence board that provides a cool challenge.
I RARELY get CE's but I wish I had got one for this game. The enigmatic series is one of my absolute favorites and this one does not disappoint. The storyline is great and the challenge level is solid. The gameplay flowed nicely and the puzzles made me think, but they were not to hard. I love playing as a detective, because you get to piece together the plot as an additional device to the story.
The third time is NOT the charm. So the positives of this game is the visuals and the sound. But the sound isn't even that great since it repeats constantly and the original song is so so. The bonus chapter is a joke it might possibly be the worst bonus chapter I have ever played in a collectors edition. It added nothing to the story and was a drag to play through. The only reason I purchased the game is because I really wanted it to be like the original and it was not. I would recommend the SE ONLY if you like the series. Besides that the CE is not worth the money or time.
So I was super excited to play this sine the first cadenza is one of my absolute favorites. The only thing that I liked about this that compares to the original is the music and visuals. Besides that the story, characters and challenge is subpar. I miss the varying puzzles and the exciting story line. The bonus chapter that you get with this does not compare to the original either its quite sad actually.
This game was recommended to me by a friend and I must say I am content with it. The storyline is solid and it a lengthy game. The puzzles are not very challenging, but the hidden object scenes were more engaging than ones that I find in other games. Just overall I am impressed with the game and I am kicking myself for not buying the collectors edition since I would have loved a bonus chapter.
