I usually love Mad Head Games, so I'm sorry to say this is the first one of theirs I didn't really like.
The artwork is beautiful, as usual, but the storyline made no sense. It's obvious they didn't really think it through, because it's not believable in the slightest.
Many questions went unanswered at the end of the game, and the puzzles were really easy. It was pretty boring.
Just seemed to me they should have spent more time in development.

The artwork and the soundtrack are gorgeous. I'm giving it 4 stars for that. I want to encourage this level of art in our games. There are lots of extras after the regular game has been played, and a decent length bonus chapter.
However, the minigames were simplistic and seemed to be developed more for children than for adults, so I took one star away for that. The HOS were really fun to play, so if you don't mind the minigames being sort of easy, all the rest of the game is wonderful. Happy gaming!
The art is gorgeous, the minigames were so-so...I think this game is meant more for children. The soundtrack becomes very repetitive and somewhat discordant, which really annoyed me as time went on.
You thought this would be just like any other investigation. But now you find yourself lost in a mysterious mansion brimming with strange creatures, comatose colleagues, and mysterious tentacles around every corner...
I liked this game so much more than the previous installments of this series. Yes the previous games were more creepy, but they were less imaginative and were downright depressing, imho.
This one has a much better soundtrack, and some lighthearted, comical, and cute elements. I felt the graphics were better, and I liked the option of switching from HOG to Match 3.
You've returned from school to visit your father at his famous Jazz Pepper Club during Mardi Gras, but everyone is hypnotized. Have they heard the wrong note?
This game was like being in a "Behind the Music" video with puzzles and an element of creepiness. I loved the graphics and the interactive map. For once, the voice overs didn't drive me bananas. Try it! I hope you like it as much as I did. :-)
The graphics, of course, are beautiful, just as you'd expect from a Blue Tea Game, but there is some room for improvement. I hated the hints, and the voiceovers were pretty bad. The worst thing, however, is that there is no way to turn off the sparkles. I'd like to discover things on my own in these games, not have it point out everything all along the way.
I really hated to see this game end. The graphics were incredible and the games were really fun. Loved that the map allowed you to easily move between sections. I took one start from sound quality because some of the voice acting wasn't the greatest, but it didn't detract from the game. Wonderfully done!
