I loved this game. It is so different from others I have played. I was unsure at first but was soon immersed in the story and problems to solve. I admit I used the forum and even the in-game walkthrough hints a lot which is unusual for me. I look forward to playing again with less or possibly no hints by remembering the solutions to tasks. This is also new for me because I am usually bored playing the typical HOG for a second time. This is not a HOG but an interactive adventure, It was refreshing to play something different and so creative. If you want a change from the norm this is for you! A sweet and quirky tale that made me relax, have fun and yet be very challenged.

This is as fun as the others in this series. The music is nice, graphics are very good and the story line is interesting. There are 3 levels of play so you can choose your challenge or just relax. Very smooth operation, characters respond quickly and you can sequence moves which I like. No big changes from the last game in the series but very very enjoyable to play.
This is such a pleasant game to unwind with. The characters are very cute and the storyline is just fun. Yet there is definite challenge in the match 3 games which have great graphics. then there are mahjong and solitaire short games in between that break up the monotony some match 3 games have. I am not a big match 3 fan but I enjoyed thius one, Building the town and helping fix a fallen moon is charming. I definitely find this game a winner.

I almost did not buy this game because of negative reviews about the difficulty in getting 3 stars. I am glad I gave it a chance. I first just played aiming just to pass each level to learn the game. I play a lot of time management games and love to get 3 stars so at first was a bit frustrated. Then I realize that I had to pay close attention to resources at all times. If I had to wait for resources (which was a complaint of other reviewers) I was using the wrong strategy. After I realized that I started to get three stars and the game was entertaining. Good graphics etc. The negative reviews are a bum rap for this game.

I agree with so many reviews. I thought I could prevail past all the negative stuff but by the end of the game it was just no fun at all. I would like to enjoy a game. Too many grievances to list. The last level really did it for me with all the dragons coming at you so that you couldn't even play. No thank you to this type of game. P.S. I have all the others and enjoyed them.
I agree with many others, the timer is TERRIBLE!. I play a lot of TM games & get all gold. I don't mind playing a level several times to get gold. I only got to level 5 on this game before I was too frustrated to go on. I will not buy this game specifically because of the extreme short timer. No fun when you can't really compete. Otherwise I would buy this game. Because of my trial I went back and bought the first Moal game, that I somehow missed when it was offered.. I tried it, liked it and immediately bought it. Change the timer to a reasonable one and I will purchase this one too. A lot of customers seem to feel the same so I hope the developers consider this and change the timer.

I read all the rave reviews so bought the collectors edition and do not like this game at all. Everyone says it is easy. I did not find it so and I play a lot of games. I would like a good opportunity to get 3 stars on levels and I found even in the easiest mode I had difficulty doing that. This was just frustrating and not fun. I am sorry I wasted my money on this game. I play for enjoyment not frustration. I thought that the quickly melting ice cream was really irritating as well as rescuing the baby constantly. Just not for me. I don't usually give negative reviews but could not let this one pass without letting others know this game is not for everyone.

I really tried to like this game and it was fun until I got to only the second level and hit one that was just too difficult for me. I play a lot of these and usually have the patience to play over and over until I pass a level.. I don't mind a challenge but I definitely mind frustration. No matter what strategy as well as checking all forum hints I could not pass this level to unlock the bonus level. Even after umteen tries. This was not well thought out to put such a difficult level to pass so close to the beginning. Otherwise I found it to be similar to the first two Roads to Rome games. I would only recommend this game if you don't care if you pass all levels with a red flag. And that you will not be able open bonus levels. Disappointing for me.

I don't understand the low star reviews because I loved this game. I cook a lot and my son is a Chef so it was right up my alley. I loved thinking about the dishes and the ingredients that went into each. I read cookbooks to relax! I think it helped that I knew all the ingredients and what they look like. I was not intimidated by the timer because you could repeat to get the best score and I found it fun to remember where things were to speed up on multiple chances. It was actually relaxing for me because you can repeat as much as you want. I am charmed by the locales and dishes. I like HOGs and puzzles as well as time management games. This is not really time management just timed. I play a lot of games so this was different and I enjoyed that. Maybe not for the time management buff but a fun game that I found just the thing to wind down with.
I thought this was a charming game. Definitely hard enough for upper elementary, perfect for lower elementary but fun enough for little ones. Reading is needed in some spots so a little help for the non readers please. Vocabulary is sophisticated enough for older kids and adults. Pictures are small so a little hard to find sometimes even for adults. Just fun, relaxing and oh so positive with good images all the way. It brought back happy memories for me. I only did the trial but if I had kids or grand-kids at the elementary school level I would buy this in a heart beat. A sweet game!
