Too many recent games have been long on puzzle and dialog and short on hidden object. If only there were an option to switch from puzzles to mahjong, I'd love it. IN any case, lovely graphics here, with an internal logic that keeps me intrigued despite the played out story line.
I recommend this game!

The things that annoyed me in the first two in this series were enough to turn me off in this game. It's not just that the help graphics are microminuscule when you click them, it's the lag when you click to return them to small so you can leave. It's that HOG's are few and far between, and you have to find each item and use it in a specific order. This is not an HOG, this is real life. Bah. Games are for escape, not for reminding me that I must clean the entire kitchen before making supper.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't like the characters, which makes me not want to save them.Ooh, evil dark thing from beyond the mirror grabs a daughter. Minigames barely tolerable, although they are not the same old thing of twisty bits that twist when they feel like it. On occasion, the interface seems not to works, such as when placing a rope to get Pierre from a chasm. When a minigame occurred, I abandoned Pierre. I am not the right market for this game.
I don't recommend this game.

Ho hum, missing chidren. Eek, dark cloud and morphing portraits. Only the cat is lifelike. HO's are minigames. Ugh. Double Ugh. Minigames can usually be skipped, but not these. As HO's they are not challenging. What IS challenging is figuring out what the developer wants me to do with the objects. I don't like it.
I don't recommend this game.

AS usual, you have to find a way into a house .As usual, the first hidden objects are tossed around the exterior, but this is not a mansion. It is a pokey little house. YOu acquire keys, a bobby pin and a hammer.
Once inside the house, you are almost beaned by a falling ceiling. This is where the game lost me. Instead of doing anything, the character calls her boss and looks in the mirror. The asides with the boss are done on a cell phone. Bah.
I don't recommend this game.

Early reviews were so positive that I downloaded this, only to find that it is one of those where you need the hands of a safecracker in positioning your cursor, I've played enough games that worked well that I will no longer put up with cranky cursor games. I was in and out in 4 minutes.
I don't recommend this game.

I like elephants. I do not like dill-brained females who dress up in cocktail dresses and 4-inch heels to take their daughters walking through parks. The dialogue is superfluous, distracting and annoying. I resent having to construct a fishing rod, play a stupid fishing game a la Goldminer, just to find a key. If the kid is in the castle, why are we standing below the stairs whining? Too much dim female, too little elephant. I lasted 11 minutes.
I don't recommend this game.

If this is fun, I'll take a root canal. Normally I love match-3 games. I get entranced by the colors and shapes and like watching the tiles drop. Not this time.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't mind static, but I hate lists of HOG objects that are doled out a few at a time. The interface is not intuitive and at times it is just plain insane. I found the intro objects. It wanted me to go to Mexico City...but i had to guess where Mexico City was. Then it wanted me to start eliminating sites. We disagreed on where East is, and what a coast is, and what a jungle is. I had to use all of my hints to eliminate things, and ultimately, I just turned off the game and deleted it.
I don't recommend this game.

No, it is NOT a relaxing hidden object game if you must perform tasks in precisely the pattern the game wants you to. That is being led around by the nose. Frankly, I'm very disappointed, because the artwork made me want to stay in the game . I like searching for objects, I'm willing to wander all over the place and back and forth to find things that will satisfy one condition or other. But combining object outlines and a specific sequence that then allows you to find other stuff. Sorry, no sale. I like the dolphins and turtles and would have hung around except for the sense that I was being dragged round. Ugh.
I don't recommend this game.
