This game is like a toned down version of an old classic computer game which for anyone who has played it will find the obvious connection. I'm not really sure why the reviews I've read so far have been so negative. I think it's a cute and fun strategy game and would like to see more of these offered since I've liked playing this style of game for years. The characters are cute, the dialogue is nice and if you don't want to read it you can click through it quickly. There are 3 difficulty settings. I chose the normal setting just to get a feel for the game but it's still a bit of a challenge to defeat your enemies. The easy setting will likely be good for beginners or children and there is a hard setting also. The music is nice and non-offensive. The colors are cheerful and the graphics are cute. I like the maps but it would be nice to have the option to travel to places faster, my only gripe so far being that you have to watch your character walk from place to place so going back to a store seems tedious but otherwise this game is a nice little gem and I'll probably go ahead and get it after playing the demo. A little more polish and I would have given it 5 stars but overall not a bad way to kill some time. Happy Gaming!
This 4th installment in the Royal Envoy storyline (they didn't name the 3rd installment 3rd so the numbering is a little confusing but this is the 4th RE game) is back to being charming like the originals. I STILL miss the little tax collectors but otherwise this is cute and fun time management once again. I will say I am feeling the challenge as you race against the clock, however it isn't necessary to get gold to continue on with the story so anyone can enjoy. You may have to replay levels for all gold but luckily there is a strategy guide in the CE that can be very helpful if you get stuck. Delighted to see another wonderful addition to this franchise and look forward to spending the whole weekend playing. I sure wish Big Fish would get more high quality TIME MANAGEMENT franchises like this again, we need them on this HOG heavy site lol. Definitely worth the extra for collectors as there are many additional things to do in the CE.
Loved the first one and was thrilled to see another edition. This 2nd installment does not disappoint! Great game for fast paced memory and time/resource management type skills. It requires some fast thinking and cleverness to eat all the goals for each level and there is just so much replay value. So glad I bought it, I'm having a blast! If you liked the first one I see no reason you won't love this as well. Happy Gaming!

Definitely another good one in this series, Monument Builders is a fun TM game with the added benefit of learning interesting trivia about the monuments as you build. This one has a nice Asian theme. Personally I think it's more pretty than the previous versions but has pretty much the same game mechanics. I would suggest, as did another reviewer, to have waaay less annoying voice acting. The voices really are irritating very quickly, they're just unpleasant sounding on the whole. Otherwise another nice installment to the series as far as I can tell by the demo.
You’re on a train in the middle of nowhere, and a band of dangerous thieves demand you tell them where to find the Hope Diamond’s shards. As the newest Hidden Expedition recruit, you’ve got to find the shards before they do…
This game was awesome! I just got done playing the Collector's Edition and Extra Content and I couldn't be more pleased. For the first time in EVER I can say I'm happy I got the CE of a game.
Pros: -Visuals are beautiful and creative. The developers incorporated many visual delights including solving stereoscope and old cinema film hidden object puzzles as well as multiple layered searches through books and furniture. You will also be combining and disassembling items to use on your journey. -Music was great! I actually downloaded it to my computer to listen to later which is an option when you buy the CE and finish the game. -Excitement without stress. The game felt very adventurous but relaxing at the same time. Some of the puzzles are challenging and some are quite easy. You won't break your brain on any of them but I really enjoyed most of them. -Interesting story and an opportunity to learn. The game has many interesting features like collecting cards that tell you the history of the museum and the hope diamond as well as other bits of history trivia, which I loved. They don't force you to read it though so you can take it or leave it which is nice for people who want to speed ahead or if you're playing through again. -Several difficulty settings to choose from. I chose casual because I just wanted to have fun and I did. You'll probably get a longer game experience by choosing a higher difficulty setting -Voice acting was very nice and for the most part not annoying. I only thought one of the characters was obnoxious but you only see him briefly at the beginning and end so I was pleased with it for the most part. -Lots of achievements to get by finding things such as the Smithsonian symbol in each location. There are morphing objects in the Hidden object scenes. -The Hidden Object scenes for the most part are logical and not just junk piles. There are a few items out of place but I appreciate that for the most part the things you're looking for belong together in that location and don't look like someone dropped off a landfill on the screen. Some scenes use a list and others a silhouette hint. -I really enjoyed the travelling aspect. You will not be running around some house/castle/estate the whole time, but instead will be given the opportunity to visit many locations/countries. I really likes this since it made the game feel less claustrophobic and isolated than many HOG's I've recently played. -On the Collectors Edition you can replay the minigames and hidden object scenes in the extras section after you finish the main game plus there is a bonus game to play to finish out another short adventure.
Cons: - I wish it had been longer, but then I played on casual difficulty so it's not too surprising that it went fast. The bonus content was decent length and interesting with more bits of trivia and globe trotting so I liked it.
Definitely give this one a try, it might just be my favorite game this year and maybe you'll like it too. Happy Gaming!
I've been a big fan of Cubis for a long time so I was really happy to see this! Overall i think Cubis Creatures is a fun addition to the franchise and worth giving a try. I'll definitely be picking this one up at some point. There are a couple minor annoyances that have been mentioned, like the restart button location but in general this is another well made Cubis game.

From the demo: Really enjoyed this game and will be buying it. The mechanics of the game are a little different than the first but I find the changes make serving easier than in the first Jo's Dream Coffee game. Honestly there doesn't really appear to be a huge amount of difference in this game vs the last one other than being able to serve orders differently. There really isn't a timer so much as there is a clock which gives you a certain amount of time each day to have your shop open. If you don't make the goals today, that's ok try again the next day. The customers are a little more impatient than in the last game but it really doesn't effect the outcome of the game other than you'll have to play another day to get more money because of a lost tip. This game gives the impression that you need to rush without giving you a big penalty if you don't so I'm actually finding it kind of relaxing in some ways. Also unlike in many games where you purchase helpers, this one's extra help actually works so you feel like a team when you are able to purchase employees. It's definitely worth a try and I hope you'll like it as much as I did. The graphics are nice and the music isn't too obnoxious (I recall liking the music a little more in the last one tho). I would have given it a 5 star but there are moments where it feels a little clicky and might make your hand tired but you'll have a good idea of this when you play the demo so you can decide if its too much for you. Also I think they still need to do a little more towards making it so that orders don't get tangled up quite as easily as they do, maybe make it more like the Delicious games perhaps where they give you a tray with so many spaces to carry stuff. Otherwise this game is lots of fun.

this game has many of the EXACT same buildings as Dream Builder: Amusement Park (you can buy it here on Big Fish), so i'm guessing this is made by the same people only now with the intention of making more money through the new (and in my opinion abhorrent) in game purchase method. Free is NEVER Free. I already bought Dream Builder and had lots of fun with it so I'll pass on this recycled and sloooow moving version. If you like faster pace sim games without spending extra money, try the all inclusive version instead for just one purchase at the regular games price here on Big FIsh.
