These are my new favorite games. I have Northern Tale AND the 2, 3 and 4 versions of it. They all have their own scenery and all are fun and challenging. I love to create new profiles and try to outdo myself and do better on each level. I love watching the little vikings run all over the place, get rid of the wolves, witches, evil rocks.....and so on. There is SO much to do in each game and I never get bored with any of them.
If you love a challenge and trying to outdo yourself, you will love these games. OH....and the graphics are EXCELLENT!! You can click on almost every animal in a scene and it will do something....the ducks will flap their wings, the gophers will peek their heads out, the moose will shake his head, the people will turn and wave....etc.
LOVE these games!!! Other similar games are Gardens Inc 2, Save The Prince, My Kingdom For The Princess and Kingdom Chronicles CE....all have been my favorites, but Northern Tale games are now my most favorite.....WELL worth buying.
I recommend this game!
Princesses have a tendency to be kidnapped, and a service for lost royals is in high demand. Start your own Lost Princesses Agency and find your one and only!

I don't like this one at all. These are the things I did not like.
1. I didn't like the sky part and being on floating rocks.
2. I didn't like that I had to keep clicking on the resources over and over.....I'd prefer that they picked them all up at one time.
3. I didn't like the scenery at all.
4. What I don't like in ALL of the sequences of this game is that there is no 'continuous line' to show WHAT is blocking a path....it just says "the path is blocked" with no guideline to show what is blocking it. In "Gardens Inc. 2: The Road to Fame", when a path is blocked, there is a red line showing what direction to go and what's blocking it.

I DID like the fact that you could click on things to do in sequence. The other games in this sequence just said "you don't have a free worker".
But even with the part I liked, it's not enough for me to buy this game. Work on 5 and I might buy that one. LOVED 1, 2 and 3.
I don't recommend this game.
Wait no more! The adventures of My Kingdom for the Princess continue. It's time to defeat the traitors and rebuild the kingdom!

I like this game but there are a few things the developers should fix if they put out a "My Kingdom for the Princess IV". If they fix these things, I will definitely buy the next game. That's why I only gave it 3 stars....fix these things and it will get a higher rating on the next game.
1. Instead of just showing "the path is blocked", have a path that follows with a red line or something to SHOW us what is blocking the path.
2. Show where the beginning is !!! I've wasted time clicking and clicking just to find out WHERE to begin!!
3. If we don't finish the level "by nightfall", do NOT make us play it over.....just deduct some time bonus or something. I can't get past some levels and do NOT want to keep playing them over and over....I just don't go back to the game OR I just create another profile, and that's not really fun. I'd prefer just losing a few points.
Now, if those things are fixed, I will buy the next IV game if it's put out there. Other than those things, I like the game.
I recommend this game!

I found this by accident and am glad I did. I love this game and it's now my second favorite....my first is "Gardens Inc. 2: The Road To Fame Platinum Edition". This game is on the same order. The scenery isn't quite on the level of Gardens..., but it's very good anyway. You get things out of your path, pick up food, gold, stones....upgrade your shacks, save the witch, try to chase the gremlins out of the area....in Gardens, it's the bandits....and it's just a very fun game to play. It took me a couple of times creating new profiles and getting used to what to do....but the challenge to get things done quicker and efficiently is basically the same. I now go back and forth between the two games and love both of them. Very worth buying.
I recommend this game!

I see there are a lot of negative reviews for this game, but I liked it. The graphics aren't bad like some said....although I didn't really get the story line a lot, but it's clear you're supposed to find the girl. It kept my interest and I think it's worth buying. I'll buy it when BF has a good sale....that's how I buy all of my games. But I think this game had a LOT of good and interesting qualities to it....give it a shot....you might just like it too.

I think I'm addicted!! I play this game almost every day. It's the ONLY time management game I like and it's the very best. Everything about this game is great....the graphics, the cute little people running around working, the challenge of building shacks, collecting seeds, wood, rock....everything. The ONLY thing I think they may have messed up on is the "collect as many coins as you can" levels. They only give you a few minutes to collect them and it harrowing to try and make any time on these levels. If they do make a third one ( and I SO hope they do), they need to give us MUCH more time on these levels. Other than that there is absolutely nothing about this game not to love. Thanks for making such a great game!!!

I know this has a lot of glowing reviews, but I really hated this game. Why you ask? Well, for a CE game, this lacked a lot. Here is my list of things I do not like about this game:
The very first thing is the lack of being able to choose what level to play....casual, hard, expert or custom. I love it when they have a custom mode....but this one had NO choice.
The map was not interactive. It only showed little stars where you could go but did not take you there. On top of that, the map was so lame....not at all helpful.
The directions were not clear at all as to what to do next and the hint button didn't even seem to work unless you were in a HO scene....what's with that??
If you skip a puzzle, the hint button won't work for FIVE minutes....now that sucks!!
All of the HO scenes were fragmented...that's not so bad, but the objects were very small and very well hidden. I almost got severe eye strain trying to find them.
The scenes were dark and very hard to see and you were going all over the place in this game....sometimes only one thing to do in a given scene.....another reason to have an interactive map.
They did not tell you right off there were morphing objects in the game....I found one by accident and that's the only way I knew.
The tutorial is not good at all.
And again, WHAT is with the hint button? You can click all you want but I won't tell you where to look....no arrows, no dialog box appearing to tell you what to do....nothing!!!
This is "supposed" to be a CE game....!!???
I could go on and on here, but this is NOT a good game in my opinion. In fact, I don't like any of the Dark Parables games and haven't bought any of them after trying the trial.
Just IMHO.
I don't recommend this game.
Help Stan Riddle escape the Haunted Manor! After being trapped by the Lord of Mirrors, Stan needs you to guide him to safety!

I was surprised with this game. I was prepared to not like it but, for some reason, this game kept me interested enough to buy it. I didn't get the CE version....didn't read that it had morphings or collectables...maybe I missed that part in the other reviews. This HO game is a bit different that most others. You have to collect things pretty often, but it all goes with what you're trying to do at that time. I'm not really good at explaining these games, so I'll just say that it's very interesting and different. The puzzles weren't too hard. I hate it when I see symbols I don't know wanting me to put them in order....this doesn't have that. It's just a pretty interesting game. I recommend it.

I didn't care for the first Goumania games but this one I love. You gradually build a zoo.....you fix the pens, feed them and interact with them. But the addictive part is playing the restaurant HO parts. I love it that they go back to the same restaurants and you can see if you can remember where things were to build your cash. Also you get to build new and different restaurants through the game....it's LOADS of fun and, as I said before, it's very addictive. You keep wanting go make more money to buy more things for your zoo and buy more animals, pens, booths, etc. It's a great game and I highly recommend it.
I recommend this game!

I'm not going to buy this because I don't know if I'd like it or not. Why you ask? Because most of my time with the demo was taken up with READING and you can't skip any of it. I usually skip most of the cut scenes in a demo to get right to the game so I can see if I like the way that goes. Then, if I like what I'm playing, I will buy the game and THEN watch and listen to the cut scenes. You can't do that in this game and the stone face tells you what you need to do next, but he nor the hint button tells you HOW to get there....no map to help. Sorry, I didn't like this game because I did not get the chance to play it much.
I don't recommend this game.
