I love to play this game. It's very challenging and interesting. There are lots of "turns and swerves" to it and hidden things to find. The ONLY thing I don't like about it is it the characters are SOOOO slow.
You can construct a building to speed the workers up and one to work faster.....but only when the little shoes or hammer shows up by the buildings. I really hope the developers make a sequel BUT PLEASE give BONUSES to do that....not buildings. Plus, make them a bit faster in the first place. I LOVE the game and find it fun and challenging, but it's frustrating to wait so long before tasks.
The scenery is very interesting and well crafted and the little guys are cute running around....but again, they do it SO slow. I recommend the game highly, but prepare to be patient.

This is a good game but I don't see anything different here that isn't in the "Gnomes Garden" series. I have all of them and this one is the same all the way around. It does have the same great graphics and sound.
I played the whole trial but won't buy it because all I have to do is play one of the other Gnomes Garden games and have all of the same challenges.
I was disappointed because I thought I might see something different....nope....all is the same. That's a shame.

This game is so repetitive and slow. You do the same things over and over and over.....and the little men run SO slow. I thought maybe the second one would improve over the first. It did not....just a few more things to so very slowly. Nope, this game is NOT fun! It's "rip your hair out" boring.

What a cute and refreshing game to play. It's very addicting. Once you get the hang of it, you want to play again and again. I love the little guys running around doing their jobs. They use little Jeeps, picks, hoses, bulldozers and other heavy equipment I don't know the name of.
I also love the fact that when you click on an item needed.....like food, money, building materials, etc, you don't have to wait for them to run back to base like many other TM games. The second they pick it up, you can click on where you need it.
You fix roads, clean up oil spills, rescue people and animals, put out fires, repair buildings and all sorts of things to clean up the environment .......it's just VERY fun to play. I also like that the workers run pretty fast.....in some TM games I have, they run SO slow and you have to wait for a power up to make them run faster.
It's just a fun little game all around....very fun. The graphics are great, the music is great, the story line is great......the whole game is great. I highly recommend it!!!!

I'm not going to write paragraphs like previous reviewers. I'll just say NOTHING at all about this game was fun for me. I felt like I had to be Nordic or from another country to "get this" game. And what was with the strange writing? It was hard to read. I didn't really get the story line at all and there were many tedious tasks to do that didn't make sense to me. The graphics were okay, but I don't like games that have so many symbols that are strange to me. The music was a bit eerie to me too.....I had to turn off my speakers.
I wanted to play the whole trial of the game, but after about 30 minutes I was done! Nope, I won't be buying this game.

I've played a LOT....LOT of HO games and I think this may be the worse I've played so far. First off, I think I'd have done better if I were Chinese. I didn't recognize a lot of things in this game....even in the HO scenes and puzzles. I also did not recognize a lot of the references....again, Chinese. I didn't even get very far into the game until I knew this was just NOT for me and I always give a game a chance and play through the trial. Nope, I just didn't like anything about it.
Maybe when others play it and review it they will say some better things about it and like the game. Sorry the first review has to be so bad.....but that's just the way it is.
I don't recommend this game.

A mystical rain is turning everyone into frogs! It's up to you to find the cause of this wicked weather and save your loved ones.
I love this game! I won't go into describing it.....others have done that in other reviews. They have told you most all of the things in the game. So, I will just say, again....WOW! It takes a lot to impress me anymore with HO games.....I may be a bit burned out. I loved the fantasy part of it....I'm SO not into the bloody, gory and scary part of these HO games anymore. I like it when they are either really close to real life with the story line and graphics OR are into fantasy like this one. I've pretty much moved to the TM games because of all the blood and gore in the HO games....but this one did make me buy it.....and without a sale....grin!
The only ONE thing I would change is the bonus game. It's too short. Other than that, I think the creators did a great job....it's REALLY fantasy, but in a good way. Short review, but you can read the others to see what the game is all about....they all did a good job in describing it. GREAT game IMHO.
Are you ready to take on a challenge that will change the destiny of the whole kingdom? Help Victoria bring back the rightful heir to the throne and restore justice.
I played these levels over and over .....it became sort of a "thing" to do it. But....and a BIG but, you cannot even make ONE move in a direction the creators did not want you to or you will run out of food, rock...whatever....and will have to start the level over. I play these games for FUN, not to want to pull out my hair.
It's way too hard to get through a level without running out of something. I got almost to the very end of a long path and ran out of food JUST short of getting to the next fish barrel.....that's when I decided to not EVER play this game again.
Sorry, I do NOT recommend this game. There are too many other games like this that ARE fun....like all of the "Northern Tale" games, Gardens, Inc and so on. I'm just glad I bought this on a good sale or I would be very upset that I bought it.

This doesn't happen often, but it has happened before. What is that you ask? This game was excellent in graphics, sound, everything .....UNTIL....you get right up to the "thank you for playing the trial of...." and then I buy it. Right then everything goes downhill and I wish I had NOT bought the game. WHY do the developers do this??....just to hook you?
Personally, judge for yourself, but know that after the trial, it goes downhill from there. I'm SO glad I got this on a special sale or I think I would have actually asked for a refund!!

I have the other "Cadenza" game and liked it very much. This one? Not so much. There is WAY too video and storyline in this one. It goes very slow because you have to listen to ALL the story....not enough game here. I was SO looking forward to this coming out but I won't be buying this one. OH....also the Strategy Guide does not show where the collectables are....the stars. I couldn't find several of them after looking very close.
