I like games set in Far East especially Japan so yes, I enjoy this game. Very nice graphic, music and setting. Although the game's story is not new and was probably done before, I still enjoy it thanks to the graphic which really into details.
The game is rather easy, I dont use any SG during the play, and games and puzzles are rather easy. Lots of inventory items but they are soon used within the same chapter.
The extras are the usual stuff here so if you are not into them, you can skip the CE. I play the demo for 52 minutes, pretty long for me. I too will wait for the SE before buying this game.
I recommend this game!

The game storyline which revolves around philosopher stone is not the freshest and most original idea. This game has many of ERS trademarks, washed out graphics and lots of HOG puzzles. I dislike the fact that there are quite a lot of violence and murder in this game. Isn't there better way to make the game more interesting rather than showing murder?
There are plenty of extras but I couldn't check them out as they were locked for demo version. Map is not useful, there are no mention of the places name and whether we have tasks to do there. It takes time to think about where is where.
The game was pretty interesting but due to the fact that it doesn't offer anything new, I dont think I will buy this game.
I don't recommend this game.

Strange, I have liked Grim Tales and this is the 8th game in the series but it is different somehow. We become more like a detective, but there's no sense of urgency shown in this game. Cutscenes are too much, I like the but this time it's way too many in just 2 chapters. The voice acting, although pretty good, don't really reflect the emotion.. When we found a dead body in our house, will you sound calm? I am sure I won't.
The HOG puzzles are varied but not difficult. Puzzles are also pretty easy. But it's kind of annoying to spend one and half chapter just to find one video. I mean, how come we can't even find those stuff in our house? many things just dont really make sense to me. Ghost apparitions are many but they are not scary, it's annoying even because too much.
I am afraid I will skip buying this game altogether. I was not so happy with the previous one before this, too. I am afraid Grim Tales has lost its charm :(
I don't recommend this game.
A simple job protecting a bumbling professor becomes a nightmare when a masked figure threatens to kill him!

Among all other Haunted Hotel games, I like this one best. Maybe because I haven't played a game about mad man house for so long finally when this one was released I am happy to play it.
the atmosphere of this game is dark. Rescuing your boss is your main objective but is he as innocent as he claims he is?
Love the map feature,I think it's very unique. As usual lots of extras. 4 levels of difficulties.
There are quite a lot of cutscenes in this game, so you might be bored watching them, still to me it's rather fun.
I finished the demo in 39 minutes, pretty long compared to other game demos I played. Will seriously consider buying this game :)

Finished the demo in just 30 minutes. I didn't really find this game entertaining, sadly. The graphic looks kind of old, the characters movement are stiff, and although it was quite fun to use the chronometer, it is getting a bit of a chore. When the demo is finally done, I am glad it was.
The game starts suddenly with the haunted train. As usual you need to save your beloved. Collecting broken chronometer to return everything back to normal, it is kind of old story.
The extras are exteremely limited. I don't find it worth the CE prize. Even when it is on sale I don't think I will buy it.
I don't recommend this game.
Team up with the Red Riding Hood Sisters to defeat the nightmares!

I like the story of overcoming fears, but as the game progresses (I am on demo) it is more to rescuing your rather helpless (or useless?) daughter from one fear to the next..I wonder when she can actually help herself.
The game is fairly easy.. I don't need to use any SG. Inventories are used rather quickly. Mostly combining objects. The best thing about this game is the custom made level where I can set the skip button to only 1 second.
Map can be accessed through journals. Extras are the usual stuff, but I like the Developer's Diary's best.
Not sure if I want to get this game. Maybe when it's on big sale.

Mad Head Games always delivers good quality games which look so realistic you will feel fully immersed in them. The first Cadenza game was a hit for me, and this one, too. I have only played the demo but have convinced myself to buy. Love the same concept but with more thrill this time.
Although there are abundant cutscenes, I truly enjoy them. The extras look good, since I am on demo I cannot try them. Love the graphic, so rich in detail. Puzzles are not so difficult. HO are not too many. We are like being in the game itself and I dont mind less puzzles.
All in all to me is a very neat game. Definitely one I will purchase to add to my game collection.
I recommend this game!

I am not sure, no matter how much I want to like this game like the first one, I can't seem to. It feels like something is missing. Stories are moving too fast and characters a bit bland. The animals are like mutant and they are in no less friendly (except the phoenix).
The game is easy, most of the stuff in the inventory will be soon used within a a few clicks. I dont use strategy guide except for checking where I am in the game.
The map is not so useful. I dont see where we can click to places with current objectives. Extras are abundant but the usual stuff, except for the Fortune Telling feature.
All in all, not very impressive game. If this game will be on sale, I might consider it.
It was supposed to be a routine mission. But when a dragon attacks your plane, crash-landing in a lush valley, you're drawn into the adventure of a lifetime!

I love Eipix games and this one is one of their best. Although a bit similar to their very first game in the series (set in the Far East) it has different plot and is more refreshing. The dragons' presence make the story more interesting.
As usual the graphic is awesome, and so how the game flows. Very smooth, map very helpful, and nice characters. The extras look great, and although I cannot go through them because I am on the demo, but I feel they will be great.
Again a great game to add to the collection.
I recommend this game!
Without warning, a group of mysterious figures arrives and reduces your village to flames and rubble. What do they want... and who is controlling them?

This game dev just did it again and they always make their games beautifully. Playing this game is like being immersed in real movie. The sound, the graphic, are very crisp and clear and so pleasing for the eyes. The voice overs are great; I kinda dislike the main character's voice, but it's not a big deal.
As always the storyline, the puzzles, all the greatness and little details are all extras just make this one perfect game. Definitely a wonderful game to have.
I recommend this game!
