I am glad Big Fish offers trials on ND games. I found their recent games lack charm and replayable value.
Recent games, including this one, just throw you to the game with no background story. It confuses me from the beginning as to how Nancy get to know Darby(?), how Darby(?) Able to get Nancy to such remote village of 300 to investigate? How come Ned, ND boyfriend doesnt even know she went to Iceland? The fight in their phone conversation reminds me much of their other game, Captive Curse. Again, repeated. Boring.
The good thing, the graphic is by far the best from all the ND games, but I think that is all. The conversation, although not skippable, on earlier games is moderately long and interesting. The new games, the conversation is long and boring. The character are not memorable. I cant even remember their names. They are snappy and not friendly. The font is way too small for my eyes. And why they speak so American? It is in Iceland, in a super remote village. Its not logic. Also not all ND game players are native English speakers. Make the sentences easier to understand, please.
One funny thing, even if Nancy sleeps at night she will wake up also at night. I found this illogical. Not sure what happens in the real game, but this makes me enough to stop the trial game after 30 minutes. It took so long to download this super large game, but the gameplay is not worth it. Again, a no ND game for me.
I don't recommend this game.

I am a fan of Mad Head games and have almost all of their games but this one I have to skip. I enjoyed the demo but unfortunately the storyline does not really engage me with the game. But as always great graphics (looks so real!), simple gameplay and nice voice acting/ background music.
If you like games involving princess and the bad guy, this game is great for you. For me I am hoping Mad Head is giving another game like Maze, this game's story is not new but since they always deliver great games I am giving this game a 4 star rating cos it is more of my preference rather than how this game is presented. I am sure many people would enjoy playing this game.
Answer a distress call at an arctic research lab where scientists have made a chilling discovery!

I am a fan of Mystery Trackers game series and Elephant Games unfortunately this is one game I can skip of buying. The game interface is pretty good; I am glad to see Elf again and in this middle of summer, I can use a little cold that is the setting of this game.. but I am no fan of aliens or science fiction game, so it is more to me than the game itself. The game itself is pretty good. I am just not interested in sci-fi game.
Compared to other MT games, this one is pretty easy too. I dont use SG the entire time and only checked once to see my progress in the game. The map is pretty useful already. The puzzles and HOG scenes are very easy. Too easy, maybe, even for a no puzzle fan like me. Maybe this game is targeted to younger audience.
Anyway I am sad to say that I have to skip this game and maybe buy it when it is on sale on SE.
Isa's back to his old tricks, and now he's doing the bidding of an even greater foe.

.. I own several of the early games in the series but then I don't buy anymore because the stories are more or less the same.. escpae from the evil sorcerer Isa. I thought they will never release anymore sequel because the story is getting draggish. I don't expect much from this game either because I kind of predict it will be similar, and yes, it is..
I don't find the story entertaining anymore. I wish ERS would finish the story soon and make a new serial. It's getting kind of old.

If you are a fan of ERS games and fairy/ kingdom stories, this might be for you..
I don't recommend this game.

Probably the best game of this year. Dark, scary, terrifying and different. Yeah, the storyline is not that new: you have to escape a madhouse led by a mad little girl. Still, the way the game progressed is pretty cool, and kind of scary at times. Sometimes I feel I am inside a movie or something.
I truly enjoy this game and keep wanting for more. I guess this will be the game that I will never regret buying.
I recommend this game!

.. although the story is somewhat old: you have to find missing miner in an abandoned city where the mayor is the suspect. I like that the setting is dark and kind of creepy, with usual HOG scenes but a little different.The only thing I can complain about is the gameplay is rather slow and the voice over is cheesy. Other than that this is a rather smooth game and pretty engaging.
I recommend this game!
Adventure into the unknown to save a city from evil!

I dont have high hopes for this game after reading the synopsis.. again, a hero trying to save the kingdom using amulet, how old is this background story? I found this game boring, with old graphics and rather cheesy voice overs. I am trying to stay on the demo till the end but I couldn't because I am annoyed by how this game works. Please, if you want to make a CE, make a story that is engaging, offer something new and different for money well spent. This game definitely not for me.
I don't recommend this game.

The game setting which is in a circus is promising, I always find the circus setting to be rather disturbing. I am fine as long as the developer doesn't show animals used in this game.
We become a detective where we investigate people and bodies. I find it entertaining unfortunately for not too long. There are a few scenes in the first chapter and basically we just go back and forth for one thing and another, and it's getting annoying. Although the map helps, to me it looks like it was made to prolong the game play.
In the end I was quite happy to end the demo. I will skip the CE and will buy the SE, maybe, during a sale.
Beyond the sky lies a thrilling adventure... and a deadly threat!

Maybe I am slow, MadHead Games always deliver great games and I enjoy every single one of them but this one does not work for me.. I guess it's because it's about outer space, something I dont really have interest in, but I want to try anyway because this game developer is so good... the game itself is very well made, but I have trouble finding my way around with the cursor and looking for things to investigate. I ended up using hint A LOT. I was not much into the demo that I have to quit because I was frustrated with myself. Really, this is all not because of the game. Try the game yourself and see whether you like it :)

I am always excited for any Eipix game but unfortunately this one is not so engaging, unlike previous Eipix games where it is adventure from the start. We spent entire chapter moving around, and I have no clue what is our objective during that whole trial.The puzzles, graphic and music are the usual Eipis so if you are their fan, you might not want to miss this one for your collection but as for me I want to skip it.
