I bought this game because it was made by Elephant Games, one of my favorite game companies. I bought this along the first one in the series, and boy, they really do hit the nail in the head with this one. I see many great improvements with this game such as graphic clarity, sound, music, games, storyline, etc. I esp. like the dogs and the shop. I can buy many things as they're very generous with the 'flower' money. I spent 2 days playing this game, so it's of good length. Great game, you should buy this!

Kidnapping is not the most original storyline but I love Elephant Games so I bought this one. As many other EG games, they use live actors and voice acting but too bad this one's videos look blurry and pixely (?). Mouth movement and text don't match as all of their other games. Some part of the scenes when you zoom it in, is blurry on the edges as well. The bad guy, looks like Elvis to me with white shirt and sunglasses, definitely not the bad-guy type. What I hate as well is the HOG scenes you have to combine your inventory items which means if you don't have it, you can't finish it. The hint button is not very helpful. It is confusing to be exact. "Use XX on the library on the first floor on the dungeon", it uses lots of position that it confuses me as a non-native English speaker. While I enjoy EG immensely, this one is somewhat missing a certain charm to it.

I bought this together with Briar Rose and that one was very short (finished the game in less than 3 hours) and this one is rather short as well. The beginning chapters were long but then getting shorter as it reaches chapter 6. I finished Ch. 9 in just 10 minutes and ch. 10 for just 5 minutes. The bonus adventure itself is long, about 40 minutes. As other BTG, there is no HOG scene, only fragmented items. They really blend with the background so it's kind of difficult to see. I hope they change this in their future games or it gets boring. Can't wait to see the next installment.

I loved the Dark Parables: Exiled Prince and Snow Queen so I bought this game without hesitation. This looks like the very first game that BTG created, because it still have blurry images and very repetitive puzzles. The game itself I can finish in less than 3 hours, quite disappointing esp. this is a CE. Also HOG fans beware, there is no HOG here, only fragmented items hidden in a scene and there're lots and lots of them.

I bought this game without trying the demo because I love BoomZap. Also based on the many others who have reviewed this game, I found many good things to say about this game. As usual, great graphics, storyline might not be the most original but it flows nicely. I found the characters interesting, esp. the hobgoblin which I think very cute. The mini games, like many other BZ games, are a lot in this game, but some are manageable, I even can finish 50 without skipping, which is a record! The music is great, but similar to Dana Knightstone series.. I finish this game in 5 hours. The guide is interactive, and the map is quite useful although you won't need it a lot since there is few backtracking needed. Excellent game, I say. Another well done game from BZ!

I am not a fan of Twilight novels or movies so honestly I bought this game with sole purpose of having the BFG mousepad. I also bought this with free game coupon so I think it wasn't a loss. Playing the demo, I dislike this game. Looks like this game was made from a small, maybe small business production company: the movement is slow, the video is blurry, there is no voice over. The name reminds you a lot of 'Twilight', even with vampires and in school and your mother name is Bella. No originality here. The graphic is not bad, the 'map' is rather useful. I found many typos in this game, like 'beleive', come out many times. Looks like no editor for this game to check on grammar and pronunciation. If I am not mistaken, one of the beginning of the chapter is written 'Day Fourth' or something while others are in format of "...th Day'. Maybe they did it on purpose. For a student, our character is shown wearing tight top with its buttons lose. I have no trouble playing this game until on Day 6, when I had to play HOG and one of the items on the list was not even there. I can't go on. Asked the Techinicial of BFG they asked me to reinstall the game, but I don't want to go through the troubles of this game with many bugs. So I just uninstalled it and play another game. I normally dont give a game two stars unless I really dislike it. So unless you can bear with the bugs and if you're a Twilight fan, I suggest you to skip this game.

I bought this game through Daily Deal because I'm not fan of the series, but I collect many ERS games that I decided to give this a try. Nothing in this game is extraordinary but it's creepy and I like it. One thing I dislike the most is the voice acting from the beginning to the end. It disturbs me to hear adults speaking for young children, and it also shows some cruelty to children which I dont recommend really to youngsters. As other typical ERS games it has the same mellow scenes, HO scenes and music. For a daily deal this game doesn't disappoint.

I was not a fan of Greek mythology put into a game, so when this game involves Cyclops, I wasn't thrilled, but giving the good reviews of this game, I decided to give it a try. Turns out it was pretty good! The game is rather cute, with exciting twists and turns and good voice acting, although it can get annoying esp. Edwina. The map is rather useful but I rather if the map can transport us to the place, because there're lots of backtracking here. Lots and lots. I got confused and lost my way many times. The ending seems abrupt though. I think I still get items in my inventory. I don't know what happens to it in the end. I guess we will use them if we have bonus chapter. Oh well. Anyway I like this game. Might try the other one in the series.

Like all the Awakening games in the series, this game also features gorgeous graphics, good storyline and lots of puzzles. I find the 'Wise One' to be very cute, the gerbil too. It's great that there is some action. The hint and skip buttons are generously fast. I will surely miss the Awakening series, and can't wait for more from Boom Zap.

This is my second Dark Parables games.. I liked 'The Snow Queen' so I decided to buy the rest in the series, one by one. This one I think is the previous one before the Snow Queen. I like Blue Tea Games and I know they don't really do HOG scenes but instead the fragmented items. I didn't know it was this many in this game. It was quite a surprise, every move and turn there is a HOG scene and quite frustratingly, the map is not so clear and the hint is not available unless it's on the HOG scene. I have difficulty going around the area so I have to use the blog walkthrough. The game itself is average length. I think it's a bit short, every chapter is short, but moderate length overall. I like that there is Snow White and Cinderella and the story itself is quite good. Since I took a step back before the Snow Queen, the game is rather frustrating in help department, but other than that, it was great. It will not hinder me from buying other games in the series.
