This has got to be one of the worst games I've ever attempted to play on BFG. I loved the first two games in this series but it's been downhill since then. The lead character VO is like fingers down a chalkboard it's so badly done. (Hey, BFG, how about a few professional voice actors for a change?) The graphics look like a cartoon episode. But the worst part is one of the most contrived and ridiculous storylines ever. I used a free coupon to get the game but I didn't last 20 mins before I uninstalled it. To say that I don't recommend it, is an understatement.
I'm a fan of Elephant Games and typically buy most of their games. This time around that was a BIG mistake. In my opinion, this is the worse game they've ever released. The story was absolute nonsense. The tasks were quite frankly an offense to one's intelligence. Most of the tasks were just plain ridiculous and had no logic at all. (Sometimes I wonder if BFG developers even care about logic anymore.) Further, the graphics in this game were cartoonish and cheesy to the extreme. Elephant, if you are listening, a course correction is definitely needed.
It seems that almost every game Domini publishes these days it is exactly the same as the one before with a little different "makeup". This game is a prime example of this. They seriously need some new ideas and new series. The graphics in their games have dropped drastically over the past few months as well. I won't be buying this, as I didn't last more than 10 minutes into the demo before uninstalling.
I've loved all of the early DP games and think the Red Riding Hood Sisters was the pinnacle of the whole series. I bought this game on sale but suspected I was going to regret it. The trailer of the game didn't look promising. Long story short, I've found that I've liked the game to so far. (I'm in chapter 4 currently.) The graphics aren't the same as the early games but I think BT and Eipix did a ok job overall. As some reviewers have mentioned, I don't understand why the graphics varied so much from one scene to the next. One would be superb and the next was grainy or blurred. It may be the fact that there was 2 companies involved. I think this game deserves much higher reviews. Does it deserve 5 stars? No. But 4 seems fair. Maybe the poor reviews and sales will spur the two companies to up the graphics a bit more in the next iteration. As always, give the demo a whirl before buying. This series still has some steam left if the two companies don't kill it by cutting corners on the quality.
I recommend this game!

I'll keep my review short. This is an outstanding and well-executed game. I have absolutely no complaints. Outstanding story, fantastic graphics, voiceovers, and player engagement. In the 2013 to 2014 timeframe, MOST games on BFG were at or approaching this quality. I can only wish that BFG would reverse course and go back to turning out FREQUENT games of this excellence. Even if you pay full price, this game is a steal!
First off, I love everything about this game....excellent 3d graphics, detail, challenge, and story. I also highly recommend it and strongly suggest at least a trial of it.
Once upon a time, MOST games on BFG had the quality of this game. Now everything is flat, 2d, moving cardboard cutouts for the most part, and the games seem to be done as cheaply and quickly as possible, which is sad.
Madhead once made great games and I loved the first two Cadenza games. They are two of my all-time favorites. That said, I won't be buying this game. I'm not wasting money on a game that has about 1.5hrs game play in the main game. I have a hard time understanding why these games are racing to the bottom in terms of how short they are. The value is just not there. The graphics quality has also taken yet another step backwards too.
The real mystery is how anyone manages to finish this game before dying of boredom. Eipix so often comes up with a great idea for a story but then fails to execute it properly and the player just loses interest. I reached the 50% point and no longer cared to continue to find out how it ends and uninstalled it. It seems that the Eipix design team just has forgotten how to hold players' interest. And to add to the misery, the graphics were badly drawn cartoons.
This was another game I uninstalled within minutes of starting. This game feels much like nearly every other that BFG has released in the last year or so. It lacks creativity, engagement, graphics quality, and has a boring, lame overall story. I don't recommend this game and strongly suggest a trial. One can only hope that things begin to improve with these games soon.
The quality of this game is bad in every way. It seems Mad Head only creates cartoons now. No challenge. Very low-end graphics. Everything about this screams CHILDISH. I only lasted about 10 mins into the demo before uninstalling it. I STRONGLY suggest a trial before buying. To be honest, I wouldn't bother to download this even as a freebie. Mad Head needs a serious game quality upgrade.
