This was a little different from other solitaire games - several games of different types with goals per game and cute card images. Not sure what they mean by "fun palate pleasing themes" unless they just mean the pictures or I didn't get far enough. Will probably buy on sale. I had no trouble playing the game on Windows 10.
This is another in a series but if you like the simpler non-story version you should try this one too. I enjoyed it but I will wait to see if they come out with a regular version. If that happens I will buy it.
This is one of my favorite genres. The colors are nice, the game play is smooth, the finished pictures are cute and there are some extras. If you like the penguins, you will like this. Very similar in the way it plays but different in other ways.
I like that you can play timed or untimed, there are fun mini-games that are a little challenging but not to the point of frustration. Everything functions well and smoothly. The things you have to match are easily distinguished and tiles are large enough to easily see what's what. Fun story and characters. If you get stuck there are "power ups" to help.
It seems there are two basic kinds of hidden object - those where you just find the objects and those where you have a complex and often confusing story to follow with lots of back and forth to various locations. I prefer the former and found this a fun game and a bit more difficult than many. Probable buy for me.
I only played about 15 minutes of the demo. I personally found it so boring that was all I wanted to do. I did not see any sign of slider puzzles. It was just moving a person to an animal and knocking out trash cans, rocks, etc along the way - all you had to do was hit them. Honestly I can't image this being fun for anyone.
The concept was fun, a newish take on nonograms, which are just about my favorite genre, but the images when you were finished were unidentifiable. The end result looked like big blobs of woven material which looked pretty much like all the ones before. Had they figured out how to make the images interesting and offer some variety for the solver this could have been a fun game. Colors were boring as well. No buy for me.
I disliked this because it has been introduced as something new and it has all the identical locations and items as the last one they released. I played the hour demo and found nothing new so it is a no buy for me. If you have never played the first one you might like this one though. The developer needs to get a little more creative!
Joe really is a thoughtful and imaginative game creator. This has enough changes and enough of the same to be both challenging and enjoyable. I enjoy reading his thought process as he builds the games as well and I like the fact that he is always thinking about what the player might be thinking/liking. I might buy this or I might wait for the regular version. I don't seem to find the value in collector's versions that much but there are some games that are worth it so I just might go for it! Try it before you buy into the negative reviews.
This is the kind of hidden object that I like - just that - no gimicky story to go along with it and no going back and forth between rooms and scenes. I find that tedious. This is just a forthright hidden object with interesting objects, extra scenes, extra things to find each round and some rounds have extra games. Very pretty too. The only downside there is that some of them are ridiculously difficult mahjong games (that I really don't like anyway) The challenge is just right in the HOA parts. I'm thinking about buying it.
