I am so torn: 1) I find it to be an ugly game with mostly gray and brown drab colors, empty roads through an empty town, where the atmosphere is cold and uninviting, signs everywhere posted to discourage you from going any further to search for the missing girls; 2) excellent game play, with lots of challenging aspects to keep you going through a disturbing search of this town. I can recommend this with shivers down my spine.
I recommend this game!
After overcoming the Dreamless Castle and Moonfell Wood, you have come to the rugged, mountainous snow-peaked Goblin Kingdom!

I love playing as Princess Sophia, and following her through her journey home. Good scenes, good puzzles, pretty music, lots of story that doesn't drag or bog down. Cute pocket dragon and owl helper. I thoroughly enjoyed this game.
I recommend this game!

Okay, I know I may be over the top on this one, but it has everything I love! Great music (reminds me of Ravenhurst), great storyline with films to watch along the way, great scenes, some challenging HOS's, and good puzzles to figure out. I'm really happy with this game.
I recommend this game!

I really, really liked this game. Lots of HOS's, good scene changes, good story, and mysterious music. Nothing drags in this game. The only reason it's not a great game is that the graphics are a wee bit murky, but that just adds to the challenge in this game. I'm playing it for the second time, and liking it better than the first time around!
I recommend this game!

Too clicky older game. I didn't care for the computer generated graphics. The people were strange looking, with very odd faces and hairdos. Besides that, it was irritating moving back and forth in time and in scenes. There was not a smooth flow to the game, although I think that the general idea and storyline was okay. Too much dialog in between scene changes. I would not buy it again if I had the chance to do this over.
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.

I was soooo thrilled that another Mystery Case Files had been released. I bought it without playing the demo because I was so jazzed. Well, I don't quite know what to say. Huge disappointment. I know the developers were trying to do something new and improved, but it falls horribly flat. For one thing, it's way too short for the money. It's a huge file, but it turns out that it's wasted on the "medium." Please don't do this again.

Beautiful scenes and graphics, some original play and puzzles, and very nice story. My only complaint is that I got through the trial in 30 minutes, and the game stopped. I am left wondering how long the entire game is if I can get through the trial in 30 minutes. It seemed worth the money, and I will most probably purchase this one since it was so lovely.
I recommend this game!
Olivia has been kidnapped by the mysterious Lonely Hearts Killer who murders those suffering from a shattered love. Save her!

I just finished the trial on this game, and I'm for sure going to buy it! A lot of original ideas and game play, and I'm looking forward to finishing it.
I recommend this game!
The wolf has returned and Red Riding Hood is in danger - but this is no fairytale!

Just finished the demo of this game, and I'll buy this one for sure! Good story, nice original scenes, HOS's and puzzles (not very challenging, unfortunately), and good progression. I think it will be worth the money.
I recommend this game!
Find the woman who disappears in the Hall of Mirrors. Investigate two worlds: the Carnivals of Good and Evil!

I read the other reviews, and I just don't get it. I got through about half of the trial, and just couldn't do it anymore. The puzzles were so simple that I was going through them with no pleasure. I just didn't see the fun in this game. Sorry for all you who enjoyed it. Maybe I'm having a bad day. Wouldn't spend the money on this one, though.
I don't recommend this game.
