We enjoyed playing the demo of this game.
The story line pulled us in right away with the beginning scene.
You can select casual or hard modes of play and there is a map, but you cannot jump from one location to another.
The voice overs are not annoying and the music is good.
The graphics are clean & crisp and there are some beautiful scenes.
The hidden object scenes are very very easy and we didn't find any that were interactive.
The puzzles and/or games that we encountered must have been easy, since we don't remember many of them.
There were way too many pop ups regarding what was going on and what you were to do next. Rather annoying and made the game play a bit slow.
That being said, we are interested in the "who done it" part of the story and most likely will purchase if we need to fill our game card towards the end of the month.
I recommend this game!

We played the demo for the hour and got to the end of chapter 3. Since there are 10 "subjects" to find, this may provide a few hours of fun for the kids.
There are volume controls for music, environment & sound effects. You could pick casual or expert play.
You can choose full screen, wide screen & custom cursor.
The voice overs were pretty good and some were hilarious, although there was a lot of talking. There is a skip option.
The hidden object scenes were fun. Some were interactive with items from your inventory.
Also, there is an "extras" tab. We took a look and you could download some different items and there were cut scene pictures. Looked interesting, although we didn't click on every item.
This was an entertaining, uncomplicated fun game.
We have this on our list of possibles, but may wait until it comes out as a daily deal or special buy.
I recommend this game!

There are volume controls for music & sound effects.
There are 32 levels, you need to find 16 amulet parts, there are 9 wizard traps (puzzles) and 3 bonus levels (shoot the wizard clones).
There were no voice overs and quite a bit of reading, although you can skip those scenes.
The puzzles encountered in the demo were not too difficult.
The hidden object scenes were pretty cluttered and a bit fuzzy. Quite a few of the objects were at the very bottom of the scene and you could only see the top. We did use the hints and they took a while to refill. Also, there seemed to be more than one object of the same type. If you were looking for a pair of glasses, you might see a couple different pair, but only one was right.
We only played for about 45 minutes and finished 10 levels, 3 puzzles and 1 bonus round. I think we found 6 out of 16 amulet pieces.
The game was fun, but was quite a strain on the eyes. We will not be purchasing, but try the demo. You may like it.

This game had volume controls for music & sound.
Game levels of normal, hard & easy.
The choice of full screen and system cursor (although this did not change the cursor from the very large game cursor to our system cursor).
There was a journal with the story and tasks.
There was a help "person" and a hint "tube".
There was not much of a problem on the paper finding or the sockets (with the help of the help system), although we got stuck on opening the safe.
That's where we were when the demo ended. We didn't see where there was a skip for the puzzle and there was no advancing (or so it seemed) in the game without solving this.
We have put this on our list since we thought the game interesting, but will wait til a walkthrough comes out, so we can see how far off we were in opening the safe.
Try the demo and decide if the game is for you or not.
I recommend this game!

This game was tons of fun, but the demo finished in 1/2 hour.
There are volume controls for music, voice & sound effects.
There is the choice of full screen, wide screen support, custom cursor and tutorials.
Games modes of casual or expert.
There is a journal with a help section.
The graphics are excellent and the voice overs are not annoying. However, there is a bit too much "talking" in our opinion.
Very different ways to find objects needed to advance in the adventure. There are objects associations. One side of the screen has pictures of objects. You select one of those and on the other side of the screen you select the object that would be associated with it.
There were some mini games and a find the difference scene.
Getting the character out of the tree was a hoot and lots of fun!
We have this on our list, but feel the game may be quite short based on the demo being done in half an hour.
I recommend this game!

This is based on playing the demo.
There are volume controls for music, environment, effects & voice.
You can adjust the gamma, select custom cursor & full screen.
Game modes of casual, advanced & hardcore.
There are lots of achievements of obtain and you can also collect 50 hidden owls. The owls that we found were of all shapes & sizes. There were also some in the hidden object scenes.
There is a map that lists tasks in locations and it's interactive so you can jump from location to location.
The hidden object scenes are interactive in the fact you may use some items from your inventory. You can back out of the HOS, which may be necessary to find the item you need to continue the scene!
The mini games were not really difficult. There is a lot of interaction in the game to advance in the story.
The strategy guide wasn't available so we don't know how many chapters there are in the game.
It doesn't seem like we got very far into the adventure as there was a lot we hadn't done before the demo was over.
We did use the hint once (to find a needed piece of paper!) and it was useful.
The graphics were very crisp and clear. The beginning movie clip got you involved in the story.
We are putting this on our buy list, but will wait to decide after the standard version is released.
We own the other Mystery Tracker games and this one is just as much fun as they are.
I recommend this game!

We purchased this game quite a while ago. Seeing this again makes us want to try & play again.
The game requires a lot of thought. At first we were very confused, but got better at playing.
We also purchased the 2nd part and that was also a big challenge.
Playing the demo for an hour will most likely not get you far into the story.
You will either like it or hate it. We thought it a good purchase and there will be hours of thought filled playing time.
I recommend this game!

This game has amazing graphics & effects. The beginning movie clip was fantastic!
You can change volume on music & sound.
There is a choice of custom cursors and game modes of casual, advanced & expert.
The strategy guide is built in and you can collect ravens in your travels for more hints.
There are achievements to obtain and you collecting clovers throughout the adventure gives access to unlimited hidden object scenes.
If you click on the word of the object in a scene you can see a sillohuette of the item you're trying to find. Nice plus.
The puzzles are challenge, yet fun.
There are some special effects that took us by surprise.
This game is a collector edition at the single edition price.
Great buy and great fun!
I recommend this game!

This game was fun, but you needed to be really super fast to keep up. We like time management games, but this one is really fast paced.
Didn't have time to see upgrades or who the customer was because of all the cooking you needed to do without burning anything!
The graphics were really good and there were some fun achievements to obtain.
Again, you need to be very fast to play this game.

This game had us interested right from the great beginning cut scene!
The art work & animations are fantastic!
There are volume controls for sound, music & voices.
There is a choice for full screen & custom cursor.
The voice overs are pleasant, as is the music and other sound effects.
You can click to turn interactive help off when it first pops up on the screen.
There is a journal that keeps track of your adventure progress.
The hidden object scenes in the demo were of the find a number of object shapes, colors, etc. These were fun and a change from the norm.
The mini games & puzzles encountered were very easy.
The story line is most unusual and very interesting. We do want to see how the story ends. However, the demo was finished with 18 minutes left, so maybe this is a short game. We are putting this on our buy list, although we will wait until after the single edition is released.
The game play was interesting & fun!
I recommend this game!
