The Phoenix Queen is destroying Enchantia because the inhabitants are destroying Enchantia's natural inhabitants. Evil often does not make sense.
So far the game is fantastic. I am writing this as I'm downloading the full game. The stragegy guide is very good (why buy the CE if it's not, even if you like the game?). The hints are good if you are stuck. As soon as it's installed I'm diving back in and may not come out till I've finished it!!
The HOS are of the 'find the pieces' variety, not my favorite, but, not a game stopper either. Enjoy! I know I will. I couldn't choose Enchantia as my favorite game, but, it is!!
I recommend this game!

In the first hour I have picked through garbage (realistic garbage) in a disgusting 'mansion'. I've met a ghost and seen the bad guy turn into vapor. This game is just plain dirty. If you have to pay money, don't get it. If you have an extra free game coupon, think about it. But, play the demo first, don't take every reviewers opinion. See for yourself.
I don't recommend this game.

I love winter set games. So, I hoped this game would be good. The write up about it isn't exactly like the game. Your in a small village that is suddenly empty, just as you need help finding you're friend.
The game play was slow, boring, and not much to do. I played 26 minutes and now will uninstall it. Don't get trapped in this game.
I don't recommend this game.

My first thought on this game was that it proves the theory that you shouldn't leave your genius, mad scientist brother alone.
The game itself works well, the sound is clear, the pictures sharp. Just watch clicking things close to the bottom of the screen as you will usually move yourself back instead. The strategy guide is precise and useful, the hints don't hint they tell.
People with wings is a facinating concept, but, this is a game so there is a bad guy. And his minions.
I recommend this game!

I love books & have often wished I could climb into them. This game reminds me to choose my book carefully. Do I really want to be Juliet? Or my true love Romeo?
The find where the item belongs scenes calls for some patience.
After only 26 minutes I knew I had to have this.
The hints are helpful as is the strategy guide.
Jump into the book with me, the best is yet to be.
I recommend this game!

This game is slow. Music best at very low level so you don't realize you're hearing it, but, it effects your mood (scary....).
Everything said in the review I read is true. But, I bought it anyway. Don't want that golldurned mirror to win!
So I guess it's captured me, at least for the time being.
I recommend this game!

This game moves slowly. The hour demo seemed much longer. The cut scenes are no where near as good as the HO's, which are gorgeous.
Between bite marks on the neck and pallor I knew in the first couple minutes that the *wild beast* was a SPOILER ALERT, for the slow witted, VAMPIRE. Such a hackneed plot.
This game is not worth paying money for, but, if you are still tired from New Year's Eve, & have a free game coupon, get it. Otherwise, forget it.
I don't recommend this game.

I wanted to like this game, but, no way. It looks good, sounds good, plays awful.
Hints that aren't really hints, objects you can't find...
Advancement that doesn't move the story along. Talking birds with nothing helpful to say. This game is boringly bad.
I'm learning that when the write up about the game is heavy on how beautiful the graphics are and light on the game play, there often isn't a really playable game there.
I don't recommend this game.

This is the first HOS/adventure game I've played in a long time that is moody & NOT raining. I was getting moldy.
This is very much a HOG. Just about every other task is a HOS. If you don't like them, don't play this game.
The graphics are good, if a touch dark. Hey, moody right? If music is set low it sets the tone subconciously. If it's high it yells at you. The characters look like they are made of polyclay. Thought we'd gone by that. Is the only hitch in the game for me. There is much better 3D animation out there. Hints and strategy guide are good. Play the demo, see for yourself.
I recommend this game!

In Cinderella the prince looks for his true love...himself. In this game he hires a detective to do the foot work. It's not an 'all time fantastic game'. It's a good game. I find HOS where you have to put things back more challenging than finding the things. I've bought this game. It will be a mild fun to find out 'the rest of the story'. The graphics are good, as is the sound #in fact I had to turn all the sound choices down to almost off to keep the game from screaming at me#. So far, no glitches. I do wish I got the cute puppy to keep me company, to go along with the unicorn.
I recommend this game!
