This game played quite linear which is a little boring for me. But, what I did appreciate where efforts of the developers with the details in the graphics and how much was to be done through-out the game albeit without much thinking required. It is a fairly relaxing game if that's what you're looking for.
Pleasantly surprised at challenge and could have been harder if...

... there weren't any sparkles or getting a "hint" instead of being told exactly what to do. Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed this game. There is somewhat of a challenge in deducing what to do next and where to do it. The story line didn't always make sense - like the items to make a doll or turning off power to make something work - but overall, it was okay. I love the quirkiness of the graphics and the trickiness of some items in the hogs, like finding "40"! If you don't want to think a bit, don't buy this game but if you do you'll probably enjoy this one without any brain strain!

This is one of the most boring games I've ever played! Beyond easy! The entire game was click, click, click, click, click and one more CLICK! No logic to where some things ended up being. The only things that kept me playing to the end were the puzzles and the fact that I had paid for it. Most of the puzzles have some substance to them, and that's the only thing I liked about this game.

Even though I usually purchase HOG's, this was a refreshing format for a match 3 game. Many games I previewed have been either so repetitive or too complicated for my taste. But this one seems balanced. I really enjoyed being mentally challenged - not like that! lol - with figuring out how to solve some of the boards. Besides being able to replay any level, it has a 16 game of spider solitaire, in addition to building a seaport town.

I have enjoyed other games within this series ( I'm just about to play "High Voltage" Collector's edition so I'll let you know) but this one fell flat. There is almost no thinking required so I was bored the entire game: I finished it because I bought it. I felt I got "scammed" with the so-called "bonus game play" because it was even more boring - "you need this, oh, there it is..." kinda play and didn't even seem to relate to the main story or characters. I'm so done with the "cookie cutter" games (just to get a game out every day?!) I just recently began buying games again after a 3 year absence because of the parade of assembly-line games with same plots, same tasks, no logic that was being promoted at the time. I also resent paying double the price for a Collector's edition but getting one and a quarter game content like this one in return.
Wow... excellent game if you like to stretch your brain!

I loved this game! It reminds me of when I first played "Myst" from disc. (Okay, I just dated myself, lol) You have to figure everything out as if you're really in this facility. The graphics are phenomenal! Only a couple of times did something not make sense so I did use the hint button. There is a point, about half way, where the game APPEARS to end but it doesn't. I would love to see more games like this!!!

There is absolutely nothing attractive about this game. The only thing I did like was that the HO's were hard to find because of being tiny and blurred but I like being challenged to think and to work hard at finding things so that part was enjoyable...but that's it!

LOVED IT!!! Wow. This game stretched my brain and I loved it! I play games because I love figuring out things, I love to be challenged, I love to think and I love being surprised... this game did it all! Bravo to the team of developers and brainiacs who thought up every part of this game and then put it into a semblance of logical order. Would LOVE to see more of these types on Big Fish
Typically, this is a good series but not this game. Although it has decent multiple items searches in the HOG's, there is very little "fun factor" and much of this game made no sense - back and forth for items without any logical reason; NO deductive reasoning; "videophone" contact was just plain stupid eg: the bridge rolled up, so call the beast to unroll it and you have a sledge hammer to break wall but have to call beast to knock thru it. Ugh. Toward the end of the game became even more tedious with back and forth's. Just wanted it to end.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game because of its' variety. I would define this more of an adventure game but there is quite a bit to do. The challenges are multiple and varied. Although there are very few HO's they are different too. Some things are linear and others not so much. The length is pretty decent, as well.
